BACK of the train. That was where Lexi wanted to be. For sure. Dragging her owl cage and trunk along she grimaced at all of the open compartments. She was far too eager to get to the train. Clearly. Hehe.

Finding the last compartment open she quickly stepped inside and plopped into a seat letting Rufus jump over to the one opposite her and make himself at home. Silly monkey. With a sigh she stretches out and her fingers begin to play with the pendant around her neck and she was lost in thought as she watched out the windows at the others milling about on the platform.

Finally, Willaim looks for his friends here.

After leaving the feast for the first time Nika felt relieved to be going home. Normally she'd be dreading this moment, but due to some certain events at the feast Nika wanted home. She looked around behind her incase Emily or Samira were close by and sighed rather loudly out of relief that they weren't. She quickly ran into a random compartment and took a seat as far away from the door as possible. That way if one of the two second years that she didn't want to talked to walked in then she'd have a chance of escaping.

What she really wanted more than anything at the moment was a happy little hufflepuff that could try cheering her up or telling her the right thing to do. She let out a small little whimper and lifted her face from her hands.

BLINK.

Blink. Blink.

Uh... She wasn't alone. Well that's awkward. Nika quickly changed her expression to a small little smile as she looked at the girl sitting in the same compartment. "Hiya." The girl seemed a lot older than her, but she also looked really familiar. Nika had a hunch that she'd seen this girl in the common room before. "I don't think we've ever met... I'm Nika Adler," And I need a hufflepuff. Except she didn't say the last bit. Hehe.

Rufus the Marmoset chattered as an INTRUDER made it's way into HIS compartment. He didn't even SPARE a look at the BIRD as it started to make hoooooooting noises. He chattered and jumped from the back of the seat to the bottom? Whatever. He jumped. He made noise. And POINTED.

"Oh Rufus, SHUT U.... Oh..." Lexi said as she pulled herself from her reverie. There was a small person here. Where had she come from? Hmmmm. Eyeing the girl wearily she then smiled softly.

"Lexi Denver. Seen you around the tower before... wanna... talk about whatever it is that has you in this state?" Words of wisdom. Sometimes Lexi had them.

Nika almost jumped when she heard a little creature making noises and.... pointing at her? Well that was unexpected. Nika sent a small little wave and a smile to the animal as she looked back at the girl who had started talking.

"It's nice to meet you Lexi. Yeah you look pretty familiar. Are you in Gryffindor?" That would explain things. Either that or Nika just had an oddly realistic imagination. "This state?" She repeated softly then opened her eyes widely as if she suddenly got it. "Oh well... I'm sort of stuck." Was she really that readable? "I'm in a sort of sticky situation I guess. One of my friends did something that kinda hurt me," She wasn't quite sure whether she needed to explain this to someone she just met, but then again she'd seen Lexi around so that doesn't technically count as a stranger.

"I got really mad," To the point where she was violently poking her broccoli. "And I went to another friend and she told me that I shouldn't be the other girls friend anymore." Little did Nika know that when Samira said that she actually said it for her own good and not Nika's. Samira just wanted to over throw Emily to become Nika's bestfriend. "I just don't know what to do." Talk about confusing... "Sorry if you didn't understand a bit of that. I don't even really get it myself." She let out a few silent giggles.

Rufus blinked his little monkey eyes at the girl, but calmed a bit. Settling into the seat he blew raspberries at Merlin in his cage. HA. Stupid cat.

Hmmmm. Lexi listened to the girl and nodded her head here and there. She had one thing to say to that. "Do what feels right. Follow your instincts. That's what you do. And yes. I am in Gryffindor. Hence my having seen you around the castle. I dun tend to remember too many faces very well, but I recognize my fellow lions more often than not."

"Besides... if a friend told you not to be friends with someone else, well... perhaps you should evaluate THAT friendship." SO SAYS LEXI.

Had it been a safe idea, Kaitlynnh Mae would have left her caged rabbit and frog in with the luggage compartment. But as it was, she didn't think that such a wise idea what with other animals there and general luggage bumping, falling over possibilities. Instead, the now former Hufflepuff left her backpack wide open at the top and down one side, leaving plenty of room for a small pink nose to poke out for air. Nova, along with her sweater for after she got off the train (which would now be hairy thanks to the rabbit), remained hidden inside of the bag, resting against the wall and her shoes.

With her feet tucked in at her side, Katie was mostily curled up on the seat, leaning her head against the window and paying shuffling feet, chatter and other train sounds absolutely no attention what so ever as her dark eyes, rather pink from the previous night's crying, gazed out at the platform, glancing only briefly at Waterfall's container balanced in the very small windowsill. Once they began to move, she would surely need to move it, or otherwise it would probably fall. But for now, she wasn't concerned. Students were still boarding the train.

Wait... Are monkeys even aloud at Hogwarts. Nika let out a small giggle at the thought before remembering what they were even talking about. Stupid short attention span.

Nika had a feeling the whole, "Do what you think is right" speech was coming up. It did most of the time. "I-I guess your right," She said after a few seconds of thinking it over. "Yeah you are right!" She smiled and nodded to herself confirming the advice and making a mental note to go and talk to Emily.

HA! So she is a Gryffindor. Nika had seen her more than just in the common rooms though. Then she remembered. That one time they were in that corridor with the giant X, Lexi was one of those people speaking all pirate-y wasn't she? Well after seeing that side of her Nika wasn't sure whether she'd actually want to talk to this girl, but her advice was pretty good and she seemed pretty normal now why not!

Nika opened her eyes widely and considered the suggestion. Evaluate Samira as a friend? Could she? Would she? Well... Samira said she was only trying to protect Nika. "So Lexi enough about me, how are you?" She said trying to change the topic around.

Legend had spotted Katie before she had entered the compartment. He had of course, been following her. Running his hand through his hair the seventeen year old didn't really know...what he expected to happen. He just wanted to fix their friendship. He never meant to mess anything up at all, or to do ANYTHING to hurt Katie. He had made a mistake and he knew it, but he did not do it on purpose at all.

Tugging Orlando forward, Legend rested his hand on the compartment before before opening it up. Orlando and him had planned everything out after the feast. So this HAD to work. This had to show Katie that they BOTH cared. And that he hadn't meant to hurt her at all. Spotting her lying down by the window Legend made a swift move using his strength to pull her up from lying position up to her feet and then pulling her into a tight hug, he gave a slight head nod, Orlando's signal.

Legend just knew he was going to get punched for this.

Merlin growled at the monkey and swatted hopelessly through the bars of his kitty cat cage. CRUEL CRUEL WORLD IN WHICH HE CANNOT HIT THE MONKEY! He turned his big yellow eyes at the other girl and mewed.

Lexi smiled and nodded her head. Of course she was right. Lexi Denver is ALWAYS right. And if she isn't... then well -- the world might end.

Ewwww. No. Lexi was not going to talk about how she was. Confused, sad, happy, elated, DEPRESSED. All those things bouncing around inside of her threatening to blow the top of her head off at any moment.

Shrugging slightly she said, "The trip home is always the best, in my opinion." Meaning: Who could be upset about heading home? Or going on holiday. "What are you going to be doing with yourself over the break, Nika?"

Nika took her attention off the monkey and for the first time noticed the... Cat? Merlin a monkey and a cat that apparently don't get along well. They'd drive Nika insane, wait. Nika's probably the most insane you can get so....

The trip home is always the best? Nika slightly shrugged and nodded. Well that hadn't really answered the "How are you", but eh whatever. It's not like Nika really cared too much anyways. She only asked to try and be polite, but apparently that gets you no where.

"Funny, last term I thought the complete opposite, but I think this term I'm more than happy to go home." The more Nika thought about it the more it made sense. Lexi probably had some sort of drama going on to. Sure it took Nika this long to figure it out, but that's why she isn't a Ravenclaw. "I'm just staying home and keeping myself busy I guess." Hopefully befriending her sister again, but that's pretty much it. Besides she didn't have too many other friends around home to hang out with. And that's why she isn't a Hufflepuff either. "How about you, have you got any big plans?"

Orlando tumbled and then pretty much stumbled as he followed Legend following KT. He was not a good runner when it came to chasing things that made him nervous.

TENSE. TENSE. TENSE.

It had been tense last night, tense in the common room and then tense this morning in the boys dormitory. They had talked about it over and over again. They wanted to make it up to her. They wanted to DEMAND her attention so she would know how they loved her. It was a train wreck of a plan, really. ALL they had in mind was to just gang up on her and they were quite sure there was about 98% chances of it blowing up in their own faces.

When Orlando came back to his senses, he had ended up not sleeping through out the night. He hated thinking how KT had left the great hall. How he had been selfish enough to let her walk away. It had been terrible. He had to make it up to her. He had to make sure before she left, everything was fine. It had seemed like an impossible dream until he had talked to Legend about it. And had been grateful that he had been thinking the same thing.

So now they were following her, ready to corner her and lock her up with them in a compartment until the train came to a stop. YEP. With Koala running after him, Orlando caught up to Legend - just in time, when the older boy stopped in front of the compartment KT had gone into. Was it silly that he hadn't felt this nervous when he had gone up to Ryden and kissed her? Following him inside, he grinned when Legend immediately pulled the lying girl up and embraced her into his arms. What was more silly was that he had the flutter of hope thingy ring up in his heart when it happened. Seeing his signal, he turned to let Koala in and immediately closed the door and locking the door. NO, no leaving today. SHE could hex and punch and kill them and then maybe she could leave.

Not being able to hold himself any longer, he joined his two best friends and wrapped his own arms round the girl, he had once called ma'am. "We are not leaving, ma'am. We are even ready to be on our knees!"

TOO MUCH? Well it was neeeeeded!

Though Katie wasn't paying much attention, she did hear the compartment door slide open but didn't bother to look and see who had entered, her gaze remained fixed on the window until a pair of hands pulled her up out of nowhere, her breath catching in her throat in surprise at the swift motion that had her eyes widening. Katie tensed considerably, not saying a single word. It only took a second to know exactily who was had pulled her up and was now hugging her, not that she wouldn't have figured it out right then and there by the embrace. Still, she didn't relax. Didn't react at all, for a moment.

Hearing the door, hearing a click, paws on the train floor, and another pair of arms wrapping around her. Trying to move from where she had been rooted, frozen in shock, Katie frowned deeply and struggled to push out from between the two young men. She didn't understand what they were doing, but she didn't like it. "Let go of me!" Were the first words out of Katie's mouth, spoken in more of an alarmed, demanded request than it was out of anger. So far, anyway. Ma'am? What? "What are you even talking about?" No, nevermind that. Let her go. Katie wasn't enjoying being squished between the two. Not right now. She wasn't in the mood for being squished at all.

Cass marched down to the back of the train, flung a compartment door open and tossed her things inside. Luckily there was no one in the compartment, well, now there was...

She took another step inside, closed the door behind her and sat down among the things that she decided to hand carry. Which were her guitar case, her bag, and her cat. She frowned as she stared out the window of the train, couldn't it go any faster? She terribly missed home, more than last year, maybe because she wasn't so busy this year and had time to be homesick and all that, or maybe it was just because it was this year that she needed her mother the most. Her most confusing year ever. Love life wise of course.

Besides, she was looking forward to the party she would be throwing this year. Mother mentioned that everything was already in place, all that was left to do was owl the invites to all of her guests...and, it was her first time throwing a party without Fee and Freya right next to her...

She absently took Ice into her lap and began stroking her fur gently, earning her a purr from the white cat, while she kept her gaze on the window. She didn't even mind that she was alone, but of course, she wouldn't mind the company either.

jonathan has been waiting for the train to arrive in days. His bags were already packed days before the end of the term feast were held. That's just it jonathan is just so excited to go home, literally. Although his parents are still in norway. He will be spending with his summer over the takahasi's. He's not complaining about it. It's awesome that for the first time he gets to spend it without his parents.

Looking around for a seat, jonathan came across a familiar face. One that puts a smile on his face. He immediately opened the.compartment door hey he smiled. Grinned. No beamed at Cass. [b] mind if i sit here? [b] he stood there waiting for her answer. Well, he would definitely sit down id she wouldn't mind at all.

But still, he wouldn't take no for an answer.

Cass tore her eyes from the window and smiled brightly when Jonathan walked in. She hadn't seen him since their afternoon at the courtyard, which was a bit of a feat since they were both in the same house and all that, and she was starting to think that he was avoiding her or something of that sort...but judging from the smile on his face, it looked liked he was pretty happy to see her too.

"Hey." She replied with a small wave. Then she picked up her guitar and set it against the wall to make room for Jonathan. "Nope, I don't mind. Go right ahead." It was a shame the flowers he gave her had wilted last week, but at least she kept the bids and pressed them in between the pages of her notebook. Like what those muggles do.

She then set Ice on the ground to let her stretch before turning to Jonathan "So, excited to be getting back home?"

Ronnie walked onto the train, slowly. It was so weird to be leaving Hogwarts already! She felt like she had just got there. Just met Rose. William. Jordan. And plenty of others. Her first year was amazing! She was so happy to have had such a fun year. . . except for losing the House Cup. She felt like it was sort of her fault since she had lost points for Gryffindor near the end of the year. She shrugged. That was in the past.

She found an empty compartment and walked and sat down, and waited for Rose to sit with her.

Orlando came just as the single was given. But Legend was already surprised. Surprised that Katie wasn't pounding on his chest and demanding to be let go. Surprised that she wasn't yelling at him about being the jerk he obviously seemed to be.

As soon as Orlando had entered the room and wrapped his arms around her as well, that was when the struggling happened. He had expected it. It wasn't a shock to him. But what he was going to say next would probably be a shock to Orlando. "Listen. Katie. Orlando and I...came up with this idea...we weren't going to let you go until you forgave us? Until you were alright. But.." He sighed. "I'm not going to do that. Because I know...that even after you hear what I say you might not be alright. And I don't want to force you into anything." There was no point in it. They were suppose to be friends. Not people for forced each other to do certain things for feel a certain way. Legend looked up at Orlando, knowing that the boy would be shocked.

"I'm sorry. You were right. I shouldn't have told Neptune. And even if I did, I should have told you that I told her." That was clear obviously. He just...had to continue on. "When...I asked you to marry me I told you that I loved you. When I asked if we could still be friends, I told you that I loved you. I still love you Katie. No matter what, always. And I realize, I do, that I hadn't even told Mat about our relationship. Not Orlando. But the thing is...Mat wasn't around. Orlando wasn't speaking to me. You and I weren't doing well. And I needed someone to talk to, and that was Neptune." She was going to hate hearing this. He knew that but the truth was the truth. And he couldn't...hide that from her. It was the truth...that was how it was. "When I told her...I felt like she was the only friend that I did have at the moment...and...I told her about the engagement because I was trying to explain..show her I guess...how much I did care for you, and how strong our relationship was. I wasn't thinking then about the fact it had been a secret. I wasn't thinking about how I hadn't told Mat- who I hadn't seen in ages. Or Orlando - who then wasn't talking to me. I really was only thinking about how much I cared for you and just said it out loud." Legend sighed and loosed his grip a bit. If Orlando wanted to talk he didn't want Katie to walk away, so he still held on quite firmly.

"And...honestly..the only reason I did not tell you about telling her. Was that I had forgotten I told her in the first place. It really did slip my mind or I would have told you....but I know that isn't much of an excuses." There Orlando. You could talk now. Before Katie got mad at everything he had said.

Lexi noticed Merlin acting a fool and sighed as she clucked at him a bit. "He's not mine... he is a pain. A royal one. I have been cat sitting for a year now. The monkey was a gift, too. The owl is my familiar," she explained as Merlin seemed to almost pull a face with her. Haughty cat, he was.


"The trip home is the shortest trip, by far. It's quite peaceful. And the prospect of getting a change of scenery always seems to bring joy," she said with a little nod. "But yeah, your VERY FIRST trip to Hogwarts is the most amazing. I know. Even if mine was a few years ago." No one ever forgot their first time to Hogwarts. Or their first time in Diagon Alley. Lovely rights of passage as they were.

"All of my plans are always big," she said with a giggle. Then she reached over to fetch Rufus. "I am going to Asia. Tibet, India, China... who knows. I want to backpack. We'll see how that works out. Although... so long as there is food, a place to sleep, and running water I think I will be fine. And then I am going home for a while. My home that is. I haven't got any family to speak of... none that I would go visit anyway." So in a sense she was staying busy, too. Just in a different way.

" Hi, how are you?" Willaim asked Ronnie. " Just coming around to day hi to my friends" Willaim said to Ronnie. " Looks like you are looking for someone, so I will just let you be alone" Willaim explained to Ronnie.

Rose watched and waited until William had left the Compartment. She knew he and his cousin had been talking about her behind her back, like he always did. I mean, it's pretty obvious if they're watching you whilst talking about you. When William had left, Rose walked in. 'Thank God, I though he'd never leave!' Rose grinned at Ronnie. 'You remember you're coming to my house sometime in the holiday?' Rose reminded her.

Presley climbed onto the school train, draggin her 3 heavy trunks behind her and holding Mercury's cage in her left hand. She took a seat in the back, and didn't even try to lift her trunks into the overhead compartment. They weighed almost as much as her! Instead she sat down with a seat on either side of her. She'd been walking with Rachel and Luna, but had somehow lost them in the craziness that was Hogsmeade station today. She couldn't belive she was really leaving. That as of like, ten minutes from now she'd be a second year! It was crazy. On the other hand, she couldn't wait to see Leo and give him a ginormous hug and tell him how much she'd missed him. She hoped he would be there at the station to pick her up, but she knew that he was really busy with work these days, and probably the first she would see of him would be late dinner tonight.

Jory made his way to the back of the train lugging his trunk and owl cage- in which his owl was hooting like the other owls around them with him while looking around for any sign of his friends. He saw some students whom he only knew by sight, but none of his friends.

Jory saw an empty compartment and made his way into it deciding he would keep a look out for any one he knew. He stowed his trunk above him and his owl on an empty seat and waited for the train to start the long journey to King's Cross.

The struggling came and Orlando's heart dampened. The small hope he had conjured - vanishing. He stepped away, unlike Legend. He did not want to make her repeat her words. It was an order, so he followed it.

When Legend began to speak, Orlando though shocked - at his sudden change of words - remained quite. KT was more close to Legend, anyway. The whole thing had started cause of what Legend had done. Orlando had just added fuel to the fire. When he stopped, holding KT still - Orlando took a step back, picking Koala up - who was trying to jump near the compartment's window, in hopes of looking outside - and placed him on the seat.

"It is your decision, in the end, KT." he spoke up, letting his eyes stop on her face. "I, for one, cannot stop fighting for your friendship. I cannot allow you to give everything up." Orlando said, in no mood to step back from his original plan. "I have been friends with you for six years now and in all this time, I have come to respect you a lot. But your decision to create distance between us - I cannot respect. I love you, KT. I have loved you for a long time now .. so don't expect me to just walk away because you think it's okay to walk away!" He could be wrong. Legend had known KT for longer, of course. So maybe Orlando's tactics were wrong but that was how he truly felt. He would not pretend and hide it.
