Ohhhh the Upper tables. What the prefects had created in such a short time was amazing.Maybe when Fee was old enough,she would be a prefect too.Thaaaat wpuld be soooo freaky and cool.The blonde already had some ideas in her head,hehe.

Dressed as Guinevere, in her withe floating dress,the Slytherin made her way to one of the free tables.What should she get?!Mhhhh... this was hard.There were so many good sounding things on the menu.Daaamn,Prefects.Haha. Where was hugo when
she needed him?!

Okay, now she was being ridiculous,but the girl missed her boyfriend.When didnt she?!

It was finally time for the Tea Party. All of the Prefects' hard work was about to pay off.

Smiling to herself, the Slytherin prefect was rather proud and happy with her appearance. Holding up her dress at the front so she didn't trip on it, Iris made her way to the upper tables. Everything looked fantastic.

Iris looked for an empty table; she offered a smile to the other students that were already there. Then, making her way over to a Victorian themed table, she sat down.

The biggest advantage of a simple costume? Not having to faff about with the petticoats and wired frames.

Kita walked along the Upper Tables with her hands holding a portion of the dress of her skirt. She was in a bit of a shock. Everything looked absolutely wonderful here! The decoration, the way things were organised in such a short space of time and the fact that the theme was wonderful! British History. Who knew such a small country had so much history behind it?

She walked over to an Elizabethan themed table and sat down, taking care to flatten her dress down in the meantime. She had momentarily forgotten what it felt like to go to a ball in a long dress and yet she had decided to come in a dress that was worse than the one she wore last year. At least that one didn't have ruffles on it. And it certainly didn't make her feel like she was about to suffocate.

Jaina's costume was much simpler than that of the extravagat ones the other girls were wearing. She felt so under dressed. She watched everyone enter in to see if she could spot Benjamin. She had no idea what he'd be wearing, but she knew he'd look handsome. More and more girls came in looking more and more extravagant. She sighed heavily. She wished she had money for a piece of jewelry, but oh well. Beatrice didn't believe in it, so neither did she.

With Lexi's hand on his arm, Salander strode into the marquee and took in the sight, period furniture across the centuries adorning every corner "Wow, they really made some effort didnt they?" he murmured as he moved further in, towards the warmth of the cauldrons and an artfully adorned table. He then pulled up a seat for the Gryffindor blonde and gesture towards it.

Lexi moved a bit closer to Salander as they made their way to the marquee. "Wow... it really is beautiful," she said in an awed voice. As they entered she made a little gasp of surprise. "It's beautiful inside toooo," she cooed quietly. Giving a great burst of giggles she let Sal lead her to a table and took the seat he offered. "Thank you, kind sir," she said in a very posh accent and then proceeded to giggle once more.

"I am so hungry I could eat a hippogriff... but I think it might gross some people out. I reckon I have to mind my manners tonight, eh," she remarked and gave a little snort.

Mia had no idea how the women back in the 1800's wore these dresses all the time. She felt like she couldn't breathe in the thing.

Standing outside the marquee, she waited for her date to arrive. She still wasn't quite sure how it happened. One minute they had been talking and giving each other a hard time and the next they had organised to come this party. But just as friends.

She shivered a little from the cold and searched the area for him. Mia had the feeling she wasn't going to miss when he finally did show.

Benjamin walked downto the upper tables looking for Jaina. He was looking at everything on his way to her. He was dressed as a dark-haired Draco Malfoy. upon seeing her, he stopped and looked at her, "So beautiful," he whispered to himself. He walked up to her and placed his hands over her eyes. "Boo," he said.

Jaina jumped when the hands covered her eyes and said "Boo!" She removed the hands and turned around to find Benjamin standing there. "You darn near scared me to death," she said, "but I'm glad it was you." She smiled at him. "I think I under dressed coming as Beatrice. Everyone else is wearing very elegant stuff." She felt out of sorts with it. "I was thinking everyone would wear simple period gowns. They all look like royalty." Well, to her they did. "You, on the other hand, are just....wow...." she was speechless because he was so handsome. "I can't believe I'm here with you." and she put her arms around his waist and hugged him.

Jacob had taken an hour to tie his tie. And it still looked messed up. It was weird that he'd never learned how to tie it, especially with all the parties His parents had forced him to go to.

But Jacob was able to get everything else rather quickly. and the Top hat, cane and moustache just made it complete. Again, it was so weird that he just had this lying around... but thgen again, you never know what you'll find in Jacobs trunk... He swore that last week, he had found a racoon in there, that was living off his lost socks.

He moved through the cold, the dress shoes cruching across the icy ground.

Jacob finally saw mia waiting for him at the marquee. He still didn't know how this had happened. it all went so fast. "You look...." he examined her attire. "historic...?" he had no idea what else to say.

And yes she had been right. Jacob Blunt was not hard to miss.

Mia couldn't help but chuckle a little as he drew closer to her. The moustache just topped it all off. She waited to see what he had to say about her outfit and his remark had her laughing. "Coming from you Jacob, I'll take that as a compliment."

She gave his attire the once over. "And you look..." she leaned forward to fix his tie. "a little lopsided." Mia straightened back up and nodded her head in approval. "Now you look dashing."

A little grin spread across her face and she jerked her head in the direction of the marquee. "Shall we?"

Honestly, Elliott had not expected a tea party to ever be so.. extravagant! When he had initially seen the signs, he assumed this party would have a few tables, some tea and scones, and maybe the prefects speaking a few words of congratulations to the well-behaved kids. But no, this was much better.

He ambled further, slowly making his way to the upper tables. It wasn't difficult to get caught up in all the decor, and Elliott was easily distracted as it is; he actually felt as if he had landed in some timeturner dilemma. He wasn't even exactly sure what category his own costume fit into, but he knew it looked like old English sort of attire. His feet brought him further, to the area designated for the 'Victorians.'

A girl was sitting at the table by him, and seeing as neither of them were engaged in any conversation at the moment, he struck one up. "This is amazing, isn't it? Hogwarts is so festive." He smiled and glanced around again.

Decked out in his King Henry the Eighth, Chad strolled around the upper tables and admired the work he and the Prefects had put in to make the area look magnificent. It truly did look amazing. The Prefects should be proud and hopefully the students would enjoy it as well.

Speaking of students...

He smiled as he walked past students and noted their attire. They had all done such a good job getting into costume! He even made sure they knew it by stopping to say, "I like your costume!" or "Ooh, that is clever," every now again to them.

He was such a kind King. Heh.

"I am dressed even less popular than they. They do look like royalty, but, the simple name like Draco Malfoy brings most magical notetakers a hardy laugh. "The Death Eater who could not kill" it is said. So, in fact, even you are dressed more eligant than I. And as is shown, I bow to you." He bowed as low as he could in front of her, then raised back up.

Jaina blushed and returned the bow with a curtsey. "You are very kind, Master Trevors." He always made her feel special and she loved that. "I don't care what they think. To me, you are the most handsomest man here and they are fools not to notice." She placed her arm in his and said, "So what shall we do first?"

Why did she always laugh at him. What was so funny... did he have something on his face. other than the hairy caterpillar on his lip. Yes it was a compliment... don't slap him.

Wait... No! Jacob like his lopsided tie... Fine, have it your way! "Dashing? Where am I dashing off to?" he asked, completely out of it today. Silly match, and cold messing with his head.

He nodded, and moved into the marquee. Jacob, pulled out a chair for Mia, being all gentleman-y. No! That wasn't him! The costume was taking over his mind!

Lexi was weaving her way through the others when she nearly colided with Mr. Stryker. "Oh! So sorry. I was just trying to get a cuppa... hey, nice costume, sir!" she said with a great big smile. Seemed that she and Salander were the only ones thinking outside of the box... Oh well.

Gosh he was silly at times. Mia decided to juuuuuuust let that one go. She followed him inside the marquee and looked around at the decorations. The Prefects had really outdone themselves.

She let out a breathy little sigh as she took the chair, Jacob pulled out for her. "The place looks beautiful, don't you think?" It was kinda worth wearing this dress now. Even though she was still finding it hard to breathe sometimes.

Turning her attention back to Jacob, Mia gave him a small smile. "So I hear congratulations are in order."

Riley entered the tea area and was taken aback by the neatly set up area and the cleanliness and pureness of a tea party. Wearing old clothes and acting all prim and proper was Riley Sinclair's scene alright. He entered the room in an all white suit with pale blue undershirt with a whide brimmed top hat and his white leather shoes.

He felt like he was ready for a nice little party, and for some socializing. He hoped people would be moer civilized and cleaned-up for the occasion but they were teenagers after all, you could only expect so much. Riley glanced at his watch and looked around he sure hope Evelyn had recieved his owl asking her to come with him.

"Hmmm...." he brought his jeweled fingers to his chin. "Let's take a sleigh ride. I've yet to see all of these sacred grounds. And if my father and grandfather make it so, I will bbe here to stay another fourteen years learning everything there is to know about the name called "wizard". But time for such talk is for later. Tonight is a joyous one, and we shall celebrate it as such. Come. I see a sleigh with our names written all over it." Benjamin grabbed Jaina's hand and ran towards the empty sleigh.

Jaina giggled a bit. She barely had time to lift her dress up so she wouldn't trip over it.

Barely noticing the chilly air as she made her way down to the tea party event, the Slytherin girl ran a hand through her dark brown hair as she finally let her gaze settle on the area she had been walking to. Well, this certainly turned out better then she had expected. The furniture looked wonderful considering the theme of the event, and the lights...well they were quite pretty.

Fiddling with the black ribbon she had placed on her arm, which matched her black heart outfit, hazel eyes slowly glanced around the area, looking for one person in particular. It was all very last minute, and she really had been considering on not going to this thing anyhow, but, it would do her some good to not be cooped up in the girl's dormitory right? Not considering...

Spotting the boy she was looking for, she waited a moment before taking a deep breath and letting a small practiced smile grace her lips before she made her way over to him. "Hello Riley." she said quietly as she appeared next to his side. "Looking quite...dashing."

Riley turned to the sound of dressy shoes approaching him on the flagstoned floor and was met with a astonishing sight. He was lost for words. Umm...he thought he had asked Evelyn to this tea party. 'This IS Evelyn!' he hissed to himself in his mind. He hadn't really seen his friend like this before. She was...pretty.

He coughed and then spoke nervously at first and then gaining composure. "Umm..uh thanks!" he took her hand and patted it in his other hand. He wasn't supposed to kiss it was he? He wasn't sure so let the awkward patting continue. "You look...great!" he said looknig at her dress and then back at her face. He sensed a bit of sadness behind her eyes.

He knew this was a tea party but there was bound to be a few things to do around here. "So what would you like to do Evelyn?" he asked politely. What were all the manners for this was Evelyn he was with, knocking him off a blanket into the dirt and making mean snowmen with him Evelyn, the baddest she-snake he knew.

Hmm, who knew a simple thanks could make her feel a little bit better. However, she went right back to her depressed mood when he...took her hand. It was even worse that he patted it. Erm...

Wait, she only looked great? Well, she supposed it was better then looking just 'fine'. "Thank you." Mentally shrugging her shoulders to herself in her mind, Evelyn took another deep breath and decided to just...try and be happy. She had a good looking date and surrounded by more then likely amazing teas, and wonderful little finger food dishes it looked like. Heck, it almost looked like one of the parties her parents had, just, a lot fancier and older looking.

What would she like to do? Glancing at his rather white outfit, she paused for looking around and really shrugging her shoulders this time. "I'm not quite sure what they have around here." she said truthfully, turning her attention back to Riley. And she didn't really care enough to have looked before she arrived. "I don't think they'd enjoy figures of Professors being made from the food, so...what would you like to do?"
