Jared's not big on formalities, but he likes a certain sense of decorum if possible. The door of the office is highly polished and, once you enter, the place carries the faint but lingering scent of expensive perfume. There's nothing special about the interiors - a big desk full of all sorts of drawers one can't see sits at the far end, facing a pair of high-backed chairs.
The only interesting things are - and perhaps not even those are interesting to the average person that enters - a medium-sized bookshelf full of old tomes, and a display that contains some of the things Professor Descoteaux has picked up on his travels, ancient and new, and gilded and worn-out. The office is enveloped in an invisible net of defensive spells to keep out intruders. There's a sneakoscope on the desk, and it spins all the time, though it has been charmed not to whistle.
Please knock before you enter.

Rafe had been working on his latest invention, which he tucked comfortably under his arm. It appeared to be an ordinary quidditch quaffle, but it certainly was anything, but ordinary. He sought the advice of the Charms professor to see if he could help him in anyway with it and hoped he or she would have some advice to improve it. Rafe made his was to the third floor and just caught a glimpse of another girl about to enter, should he knock as well. He didn't want to be rude. What if that student sought a private discussion? Well, what was the worse thing that could happen? The professor would simply just tell him to wait. He walked right up to the door and gave it a knock.

Okay. So Car wasn't here. Shame, too, because Ellie had JUST figured out that 'Car' was an amazing nickname. At least it was better than the 'Carl' she was thinking about last term. Who would've thought to just drop the 'l'. Too late now. But she still had to visit the Charms professor, whoever it might be. She'd told Nia she would. And she respected Nia and was going to keep her promises with her.
So here she was. She knocked a fun little rhythm on the door cuz she CAN, and waited to be let it.

She walked in and scanned the room for the teacher. Her eyes fell on the only adult in there. HIM?! Forget Charms Professor, more like Professor CHARMing.

Rafe entered the office. As soon as he entered he caught a faint smell of perfume. It wouldn't be that noticeable for your typical human, but with his heightened senses he could make it out strongly. Rafe couldn't help but laugh at the sneakoscope on his desk. He never found them very reliable. But, he quickly recollected himself and introduced himself, "Good day to you professor, I'm Rafe Lycaon and it's a pleasure to meet you." He gave a slight bow. He notice the girl who said hello first look all goo goo eyes at the professor, Rafe simply rolled his eyes at this.

She took a seat. They were more comfortable than Professor Hectate's but hse didnt come here for the chairs. She had made some cupcakes, and she was deliverying them by hand to all her professors. " Yes, sir you will most certainly see me in your class." she smiled "I have cupcakes that I have made myself for you to enjoy" taking the basket off of her arm and placing it out for him to take. The cupcakes had little wands jinxed to shoot sprinkles out and onto the cupcakes. "Im a seventh year and I was hoping that in some time that you might set aside to help me with some charms since this is my NEWT year" she said well more like asking.

The good book held the best parties... Her thoughts were entertaining themselves too much at the moment. Must be Professor Charming.
And that's what she'll call him as he still hadn't provided a name for himself. It's okay, though. The guessing game. She liked games.
She shrugged. SOMETIMES, maybe. Like for Quidditch. But not most of the time. It was much funner to not plan. "Good. Cuz I'll be here." And with that, she stood to leave.
This visit was totally unproductive. But LOADS of fun at the same time. So, no regrets here. See, Professor? Fun things happen when things don't go as planned.

She was just trying to be nice If he didn't eat them there was no big deal. At least she had tried. "There very tasty" she said motioning to the cupcakes. They were so pretty, she couldn't be more proud of a cupcake than that one but she had other cupcakes that needed to be delivered
A smile came across her face and she settled alittle and became alittle more calm. He had agreed to help in any way he could. "Thank you sir." she said "I apprciate all the help you can offer. I was also thinking af putting together something for the new first years a...a kind of way to make them feel comfortable in thier new surroundings and classes. Do you think that would be a good idea or a total bust?" She asked. She really wanted a professors opinion but of course his would not be the only one.

Alice had heard there was a new Charms professor this term and she was very excited to meet him. She noticed a couple of other students in the office, but deciding it would be polite she gave the door a gentle knock once she was sure no one was speaking. Alice waited until the Professor gave her the go ahead to come in, or leave if he was busy.
