The debate on exactly what the torture room would contain was rendered to a full halt by the time he actually slipped inside the door. Old movies indeed. Was this even sanctified by Hogwarts? Or was this just another game of Lafay's?
He could feel his anger peaking as he moved inside the room, giving careful consideration to each...device, as he passed it. Dipping his hand down into his pocket, he gripped his wand briefly, trying to weigh exactly how much trouble he was in. He gave a moment of pause to slip the wand up into his sleeve, where the access he would have to it would be quick and hopefully near instantaneous. At least, the other girl had not been landed here as well.

There was the temptation to jump right out of his skin when he heard her behind him, especially with what she asked for. But gritting his teeth and turning slowly kept him on the ground and with his wits about him. If anything, he would not let her get the best of him. Not in this.
With a slight frown, he retrieved his wand from his sleeve and handed it over to her in a simple gesture. It was an effort to keep his mind from deliberating on the possibilities of what might happen during his session with Lafay, but he managed to conceal the thoughts to simple whispers in the back of his skull.

It was a very good thing eyebrows were securely attached to foreheads, for if they weren't, Sabel was certain he would have lost his with how high they shot up. This, was indeed torture. Torture of plain stupidity. This woman couldn't be serious. It didn't sound so much like a game as a brainwashing excercise, and despite his unnegotable predicament, he would have no willing part in it.
"But you proved today that 'My professor is not always right', so really, the game has already been played and the conclusion set. It would be pointless to start again, looking for a repeat of the same outcome." He didn't move from his spot. Chairs, suddenly, were very threatening. "Are you so upset that I corrected you, Professor?"

Sabel simply glared at her. She had hit it again, that nerve. That nerve centered right over the heart of his summer. Muggles couldn't make potions. Did the woman even understand what potions meant?
His very expression conveyed how wrong he thought, and knew, she was as he slowly and deliberately sat down in front of her. Worry was momentarily replaced with irritation, such that he barely registered the anger in her eyes. If his house hadn't been on the line, he would have had quite a few more words for the woman, and even then, he wasn't sure he was going to care about some points by the end of it all.

This time, there was good cause to jump. Shackles? Really? What was this woman on about?! Cold crept through his skin and into his gut as he twisted his wrists slightly to test the tightens of the restraints. He would give her points, simply because she knew how to be creepy.
Somewhere, in the back of his mind, there were mini versions of his friends hopping up and down, waving their arms and telling him to behave. But Lafay wanted to play a game, wanted him to ask her questions that any two year old could answer. Perhaps he may have humored her and asked about the spots on a leopard, except that her mention of Arya being set on fire drew a very fine straw. A straw that had him in no mood to play along properly.
"Any question? Alright." Turning his hands once more in the bindings, he fixed her with a level gaze; or as level as he could make it amongst his building anger. "Can muggles fly?"

Irritation sizzled within him. Was she playing dumb or was she simply that ignorant. Something in his gut twisted, warning him not to open his big, stupid mouth. The other part, well, had an unsatisfied appitite for arguing a certain point with a certain professor of a certain topic he was deined to speak of. It was that second part that told him this would have to do and ignored the caution calling out in the back of his mind. "Wrong."

The buzz startled him and made him jerk quite violently in surprise. It was the tickling that was the problem. Who used tickling to torture?! Or prove a point for that matter?! It was beyond anything he had expected.
Squirming about in the chair, there was utter embarrassement as he couldn't help the involuntary reactions of being tickled. Mainly, being out of breath from quiet laughter which he desperately tried to restrain. And restraining it, only made the lack of air to his lungs worse.
This.
Woman.
Was.
Mad.
Period.

Ooohhh this woman. For some reason he couldn't help but picture her as a child, preforming such brainwashing experiments on her classmates. While the image was rather copyrighted in it's Lafay creepiness, he couldn't help but find it slightly amusing, a fact that was not helped in the least by the tickling.
For a moment he let out a spurt of laughter, both at the image and to get the breath he needed to speak between the bouts of discomfort. "I said....you are wrong..." A smile twitched on the corners of his lips. If she wanted him to answer her while taking everything dead serious, a tickling machine wasn't helping. "Muggles can fly...very well...planes....parachutes...blimps...helicopters ...gliders...they have invented every way of flying...possible..."
Another short set of giggles as he shook his head. "Wizards simply took...a broom out of the closet...and weee there they went."

The tickling became more intense... She stood out of her seat and leaned on the back of her chair. The problem with tickling, was that it was hard not to be happy. Sure one could be frustrated and irritated to hell and back, but damn involuntary reactions made true rage almost impossible. Perhaps that was the reason he was picturing mini Lafay tutting around on an equally miniature broom. He wasn't sure though, whether her purpose was to get him to downright laugh, to turn blue from lack of oxygen, or beg her to stop. Which, frankly wasn't happening. "Most... definitely....unless of course...we classify those as simply modes of transportation....but then...Flying Class...would have to be renamed to Brooming Class..." Because aviation was already claimed for planes.

A sharp stitch jumped to life in his side, one that brought a nice wince to his face and caught his breath off guard. Thankfully, a chair had arm rests, and while the rest of his body squirmed to now try and get away from the sensation, his hands held firmly to them. Something somewhere told him breathing might start to become a problem as well.
Even then, he cracked open an eye and squinted up at the potions Professor, doing best to give her a small smile. "Quite enjoying a bit of laughter....most I've gotten all year..." And that, unfortunately, was true.

Insane. Completely, batty insane. That's what this woman was. He was curious as to how exactly she expected him to do anything properly while he was right, plain out of breath and between fits of giggles and winces. "Why...are you acting...like a child?"
Because that, was exactly what she was doing. Only children tickled one another to prove a point. And it was mostly children that were so stubborn.

"So...you are acting like a child to teach a child." Because that always worked out well. Wasn't there something about children politics that involved pulling on each others hair and screaming at one another?
"Perhaps...if you acted like a reasonable... intelligent adult...your students would listen to you. Hell, I'm sure they would love to have a Professor they can look up to and trust without the fear of being berated, beaten down or lit on fire." Yes Lafay, that was never going away.
