| | |  Room Three of the Hospital Ward and Healing Area
Banner by: Gryffindoll OOC: Before posting in this thread, you must first have been called back by Healer Moretti. To be seen by the Healer, please post in the Check-in Area for Patients first then in the Waiting Room for Patients and Visitors.
Upon entering the Hospital Ward and Healing Area, you'll come upon a long hallway that eventually forks into two different directions. You'll want to proceed to the right, the direction that will take you to the Healing Area. Healer Moretti will be waiting for you. It is in the Healing Area that you'll receive the medical attention that will hopefully heal you right away and send you back to classes and your everyday life.
If, however, you aren't able to be healed right away and your character is in a rather serious condition, you will be escorted to the Hospital Ward, where you will receive further medical attention.
OOC: Once your character is seen and tended to, Healer Moretti will deem them "well" and able to return to classes/everyday life. If your character continues to suffer from repeat conditions, it's likely that he or she will be admitted into the Room for Quarantined Patients. If this happens, you will be temporarily placed in the "Quarantined" user group, and your posting in the school will be temporarily limited to the "Quarantined" thread only.
I will lock these threads once a session is finished. When a new session, and a new student is assigned to the room, the thread will be reopened.

Fifteen...sixteen...seventeen... Ari had never been this way before. She knew to stay to the right, and lightly trailed one hand along the wall, feeling the doorframes. At step eighteen, she found room three. Four steps in, the tip of her cane hit against the low bed and she had a seat slowly, collapsing her cane and setting it beside her. She ran a hand through her tufted, feather-like hair, and took a sigh--Or what she could of one. Stupid trunk.

Ari nodded, feeling for the end of the bed, touched the pillow, and promptly horizontal-ed herself after removing her tweed jacket, un-fastening the two huge black buttons to reveal the white button up shirt underneath. She briefly pointed to the exact spot on her right side. "I slipped over my trunk, and the edge of it hit right here. It's not too awful bad, but..." She put her arm flat on the table again, "I guess you never quite know."

"I am going to take a look." Lily warned, her fingers hesitating at the hem of the girl's shirt for a moment, before she pulled it back just barely, to reveal the light bruising.
"There's nothing here to lead me to believe there is a deeper issue." She explained, gingerly rubbing her fingertip across the bruise. "You're pretty bruised up, but that's to be expected, and I can take care of it right now."
She flicked her wand and summoned a jar of salve. "This is going to feel tingly, and you might feel slight pressure from my fingers, but I promise it will help." She didn't do anything yet, not until the girl acknowledged that it was okay for her to proceed. | |

She was no doubt relieved that it was only some bruises--the next-to-last thing she needed was to be injured enough to be questioned about her ability to get about. Ari, being moderately ticklish, bit back giggles at the healer's light touch--bruise or no bruise.
She gave a nod, and almost gave a quite informal response of 'Go for it.', but, with no prior experience with Madam Moretti, played it safe with "Not a problem, thank you."

Ari gave just a small jump--maybe small enough that the Healer didn't feel it. Indeed, the ointment did tingle--and it was a bit cold--to say nothing more of her being a bit ticklish--but apart from that, she could feel the soreness, the tightness, almost dissolving. Cool.
She took a deep breath--which was what hurt her before--and it was still a bit sore, but nearly gone. She smiled. "Thank you very much--That feels loads better!"

Lily smiled, pulling her hands back, and tugged the girl's shirt back down to its proper place. "You can go ahead and sit up, just take it slowly." And in the mean time, Lily swapped the salve for a potion vial.
"I have a pain potion here for you, which will fix up the little lingering pains."

"You can stay, if you like, seeing as its only my stomach, but its up to you. Just don't go back to class without me, 'kay?" She winked at him and settled back to wait.

Wow, a hectic day for the healer, eh? Evan watched her rush to everywhere, trying to tend everyone. It must be pretty hard to be a Healer, and to deal with magical students, who were quite open to every kind of injury. That was why he sucked at healing, it needed too much care and practise. Helping Emily to the room three, he grinned. Of course he was going to wait for her. But he had no desire to see what that horrible thing had done to her, thank you. "I'll just wait in the corridor," he said and got out.

I guess my robes had come apart in the fall, i dunno. I've cast a-no two, numbing charms on it, because the first one was pretty weak, but this ones stronger, so it doesn't hurt. Emily watched the nurse grimace slightly, and agreed whole heartedly. She carefully, sooooo carefully, so that she didn't scratch it and to ensure her robes weren't stuck, peeled back the fabric to expose her stomach. "I don't think i'm going to look. I'm not that good with blood see. As in fainting not that good, so I'm not sure I want to go there." She mimicked the nurse's earlier grimace.

"This is a bit of a soothing salve." She explained, as she dipped her fingers into a jar, "It might tickle and tingle, but that only means it is working." She lightly swiped the salve from one side to the other, watching the red melt into the girl's skin, and disappear. | |

Emily closed her eyes as suggested and shivered slightly, firstly at the spell then the tingling salve. When the nurse had finshed, she glanced down cautiously to find perfectly unmarred skin. She breathed a sigh of relief then broke out into a huge grin. Suddenly bursting with energy, she threw her arms around the nurse in thanks, then bounced towards the door. ooc: she can go, right?
