Enya slowly opened the room door, peering into the darkness and cold. Did she really have to sit in here!? Maybe she could make a complaint and get out of detention with a warning. The thought warmed her a little - she even began to turn around and leave - but she knew deep down it wouldn't, only cause her to get more detention. Something she actually didn't want! No! Sigh.

She stepped into the room, closing the door begin her and stood with her back to it. She peered around the room, thinking where and what she actually was suppose to be doing? Please god no scary evil creatures. And no lines! That was just as bad! Enya stood, looking around for someone, and waited to hear her instructions.

Entering the dank dungeon, Preston flicked his wand a the ceiling, illuminating it slightly. In the corner, facing a wall dripping with, presumably, water, was a simple desk.

"You will sit over there and you will first write out 10 reasons you believe you have been placed in detention."

He paused, as he conjured quill, ink and parchment and set them on the desk.

"And because I am particularly displeased with your behavior and could do with some entertainment, you most present those reasons in the form of a poem."

He gestured again to the desk, as he turned to his own, better lit part of the dungeon. Conjuring an armchair, he sat himself down and extracted the letter he had brought with him.

Enya groaned slightly to herself as she walked forward slightly, thankful for the now lighted room. First the had to write ten reason's why she was in detention, then a peom! man she sucked at writing poems! God help her! As she slid into her seat she stared down at the parchment, nothing coming to mind. Sighing she picked up the quill and after putting her name in the corner of the page - small - she put the title 'Detention' and underlined it. Then she put the simple number one underneath. '1'. She put down her quill and stared at the parchment, wondering how long this was going to take. Hours? Days? Weeks? Mouths? She couldn't go on. This was just so bad! Slowly picking up the quill again she slowly put the main point down.

1. Having a food fight.

Yeah she could do this. It wasn't had. She'd worry when the poem bit needed to be done. Sighing - cursing herself again - she began to write.

2. Wrongly using food.
3. Shouting at a student.
4. Being tired and angry....

Enya was surprised, wondering where all this was coming from.

5. Lying to a Professor.
6. Wasting a Professor's and Prefect's time.
7. Trying to blame he whole thing on another student.
8. Being Me.
9. Keeping a Professor from his food
10. Being rude.

Enya placed down her quill, reading over what she had written. Ok time for the poem. But what would she write!? She didn't write poetry, she drew pictures! Ah man this was going to be a long detention. Enya began to scratch something across her parchment, but read-reading it she crossed it out.....

Many minutes later she was thinking about the time she had been obsessed with a bird in the tree at the bottom of her garden. The bird and it's family. And then she had the idea. Without stopped Enya wrote from her heart.



Enya again put down her quill, looking over what she had written. She thought it was good, but would the Professor think so, she had put all the ten reason's in the poem, in her own way. Would it be enough. Enya peeked up at the Professor, sighing. After a while she put her hand up, saying.

"Professor. Im done"

Sitting in his (rather comfortable) chair, Preston read through the letter that had been left under his door. At times quirking an eyebrow and at others narrowing his eyes, anyone watching would have been most puzzled as to the contents of the note.

When Miss Mayberry called out that she was done, Preston folded it back up and slipped it into his pocket. He was unsure of what to make of the fact that the request had come in writing. He would.. have to think on his response.

Standing, he made his way over to the desk. Picking up the parchment, he read over the list quickly, before turning to the poem.

His surprise at it was evident on his face. "Miss Mayberry, I must say, I was expecting, at best, a few rhyming phrases, but turning your list into an allegory of sorts was quite well done."

Taking a moment to look at the list once more, he set it back down. "I will say, I don't think number 8 is accurate. I don't think that you, by your nature, are bad and deserving of detention. I don't think you are a bad person. You just did a bad thing." He paused, looking down at her. "There is a difference."

Clasping his hands behind his back, he stepped around to the other side of her.

"Your next task is to write out ten things you could have done differently at the feast. You do not have to turn these into a poem."

Enya watched the Professor while he folding some kind of parchment and made his way over to her desk - she didn't spare a thought to the parchment - and pick up her list then poem. She quitely crossed her fingers under the table, hoping she didn't need to redo the poem. She didn't know what she'd do if she had. She had no inspiration like the one before. But she was surprised when he congratulated her - in a way. She was actually quite proud of what she had done, hoping she could at best keep the poem. She doubted it. She looked up at him, into the face. She said, "Im not stupid. I know how to write a poem" Before slouching further into her chair.

Enya really didn't under stand what he had said, a poem was a poem. Nothing more. Right. Shrugg. She'd figure it out someday. She wasn't really listened but when the Professor began to explain she wasn't bad her ears prickled up. Wasn't she? She thought she was, people said so. A difference between being bad and her? Ha. Yeah! She blinked and looked down at her poem again, wondering what next task she would have to do. Or maybe she was aloud to go - her poem was so good she could go. She began to hope, but that hope was dashed when she was being instruted to write another list. Groan. How many more list's would she have to do? Loads? She certainly hoped not.

Nodding her head slightly she turned over her parchment and picked up the wuill once again. She stared at the sheet in front of her, ten things she would have done differently. Hmm? She really wasn't sure. Enya was actually quite liking the detention, though she wouldn't say out loud - and glad it wasn't too hard.

Dipping her quill she wrote number one, '1' and wrote after it;

1. Eat the food instead of throwing it

She read over the first number, satisfied with it. Dipping her quill again she carried on.

2. Treating students fairly
3. Treating a Professor and Prefect with respect *Ha. Enya smiled at that one*
4. Don't direct my anger at others.
5. Always tell the truth *Excluding white lies. She told herself*
6. Always take the blame for something I've done
7. Always think before I act
8. Don't be rude
9. Don't take things the wrong way
10. Don't land one's self in detention.

Enya put down her quill again - glad she didn't have to put this in a poem...she'd be stuck big time! and looked up again. She raised her hand. "Professor. Im done again" She said, concluding this was actually boring.

Preston raised his eyebrow at her. "I was not insinuating that you were stupid, Miss Mayberry. I was simply stating that you did work beyond what I had intended for the task." He eyed her posture. "Now, if you're done being sullen, get on with your next task."

He pursed his lips before moving away. This time, he only took a few paces back, hovering as she wrote.

When she had finished, he again approached the desk and took the parchment. Reading it quickly, he made a slight clicking sound with his tongue against the back of his teeth.

"I had been hoping for more specifics along the lines of 'I will not overreact and dump juice on my fellow students' but this will do."

Setting the parchment down, he addressed her again. "That is it for the writing, but now we will have a little talk."

Summoning his armchair, he sat next to the girl, leaning forward with his arms rested on his knees.

"What is it you want to get from your time here at Hogwarts? What do you aspire to?"

Enya looked up when the Professor spoke, saying he wasn't treating her like a stupid girl. Good. She hated people doing that! She shook her head a little, straightening up from her seat. "I have my moments" She started, "Just because i act up, doesn't mean i don't learn" She said second looking down. End of that conversation. She had chosen to after she had finished her task to speak, she really didn't know why.

But now he was saying she could have done better. But she had done the task hadn't she? This i was bored, pointless detention was for....to teach you! Gah she hated being in detention. She wouldn't be back here in a hurry. No she would not! Enya's heart did a small leap when it was stated she wouldn't have to do anymore writing, YES! Her hands were hurting her already! She set down the quill and pushed her parchment away.

She watched at the Professor conjured up a - comfortable - seat and sat down. Now what? She asked herself while she shifted her weight into a better postision. She sat watching the desk she sat at as she was spoken to. What did she want to get out of Hogwarts. Education? Friends? A chance to get away from home? She really didn't know. She shrugged. "I don't know." She said "Education, Friends" She said slowly. And as to the second question, what do i aspire to? Hmm...She looked up. "I don't quite follow you on the second question sir"

"And how do you propose to acquire an excellent education and make and keep true friends if your behavior causes people to not want to be around you or to not trust you?" He raised an eyebrow. "Your behavior at the feast appeared to be the actions of someone who has no care for integrity, or education, or their peers at this institution. Is that the kind of person you want to be?"

He leaned back in his chair. "That is what I meant by what do you aspire to. What kind of person do you want to be? And what actions show that?"

Enya watched Professor Kingsley as he spoke to her, well more like say her attitued was bad. She really wasn't sure what she should say to the Professor's multiple question's, she looked down at the desk moving her hands to rest on it. She thought. What was the best idea? She asked herself biting her bottom lip. Instead she shrugged looking up.

"I honestly don't know the best answer for that" Was all she said leaning back in her chair. She breathed out, "And as for what i want to be, of course i want friends! But i also know you can't just change someone from a detention" She told the Professor eyeing him again.

Enya didn't bother answer the last question, what action show that? She didn't know. If it meant going up to someone and giving them a gift as sorry she was out.

Preston smiled. "Quite true. But, I am not trying to change you, Miss Mayberry. I simply want you to think about your behavior."

And change it.

"I don't have the answers for that question, Miss Mayberry. But, do think about it. Act like the kind of person that you want to be. I do not think you are a bad person. So, stop acting like one."

Extracting her wand from his robes, he set it on the desk.

"You are free to go."

Right Hooligan Hole. Pffft. Savannah was SO not a hooligan, nope she was just pretty and awesome. Whatever though, Savannah walked into the dungeon, looking around. It was icky, reallllllllly icky in here. Couldn't someone like CLEAN in here? Honestly you think they would make someone clean after a few centuries.

The blonde stood, her arms crossed as she waited for everyone else to show up and you know, let the real fun begin.

*sigh*

Ella followed Savannah into the Hooligan Hole, leaving quite a bit of distance between them of course. Ugh, they really knew how to make detention feel like prison. It was so dark and dreary down there, Ella turned up her nose as soon as she entered.

She stood beside Savannah - well, sort of beside her, they could easily fit another person in the middle of them - then she crossed her arms too. They looked like a right pair of pouty blondes. This detention was going to be hell, Ella just knew it.

In front of each of the girls two mirrors appeared, then two on their left, two on their right and two behind them. The mirrors boxed each girl in seperately. These were special mirrors, reflecting mirrors. Whatever was happening in the mirror, (red hair, moles) would appear to be happening to them in reality.

Savannah's Mirror: In the mirror in front of Savannah, her nose started to disappear, along with her the fingers on her right hand.

Ella's Mirror: In the mirror before Ella, her blonde hair began turning orange...

Mirror? Oooooh...Savannah LIKED mirrors, she could look at herself and stare and admire. IT WAS FUN! The blonde smirked, ruffling up her long blonde curls. Her hair, her oh so pretty and cherishable hair. And she did that for a few seconds, not even realizing what was going onto her nose......and fingers. Her green eyes wandered from her hair to her face.

".......uh..."This was SICK. They were playing mind tricks on her and SHE was going to out smart them. The blonde took her hand, her RIGHT hand and put it up to her nose.......and felt the nose that still seemed to be there. The blonde's eyes grew as she noticed her fingers GONE! They were GONE! "WHAT is going on?"She said looking around....all she could see was the mirrors and herself.

Oh dear.THIS wasn't good.

Without another second glance around the room, a ton of mirrors appeared around her, boxing her in. Woah, it was freaky, and Ella really didn't like the appeal of seeing herself in mirrors, front to back. Course, Savannah would probably be loving it. She looked forwards and stared at herself for a moment. W-W-WAAAAT? Ella's eyes squinted, as her hair was ORANGE! "What in Merlin's beard..." She muttered automatically. How long had she looked like that? Had Savannah done something to her before detention began?

Oh, Merlin, it didn't even cross her mind that this was a detention and just a punishment. Ella was under the impression that her hair was orange. And that was that.

Hecate walked in ahead of Jeremy and took a seat. They could see into the mirrors, but the two students could not see out of them. She padded the seat beside hers so Jeremy could sit.

Savannah's Mirror: Savannah's hair began to fall out all of it, and, inside her shoes, all of her toes vanished.

Ella's Mirror: Ella's hair became harder... white her scalp and forhead began turning orange...

And then her mind was now convinced this was all a trick, a mean old scary TRICK. And SHE wasn't going to freak out about it, instead she looked in the mirror running a hand through her blonde locks of hair. Yep, she was TRYING to convince herself that that noseless thing in the mirror was NOT her. That is until her hand let go of her hair....

IT WAS FALLING OUT!

dghdfhdgjdhdgfnhdghdgfhdghj. Her eyes grew even wider and then came the tears, the sobs if you will, you see...there were MANY traits Miss Conrad loved about herself but her favorite was defiantly her hair. She LIKED her big thick curly hair and now...it was gone. The blonde couldn't even THINK straight. What if this was like PERMANENT or something? Yeahhhh...Modeling career? It would be bye bye. NOW SHE COULDN'T MODEL FOR TAMMY ANYMORE!

The blonde stomped her foot on the ground, almost in a temper tantrum sort of way. The heel of her Kate Spade Shoes clicking, her green eyes wandered down to her feet eying the sparkles and then......

NO TOOOOOOOOOOOOES?!?

Well, at least her shoes weren't ruined but still though, that didn't help much. SHE LIKED HER HAIR! She wasn't digging this whole "Let's Make the Pretty Girl Unpretty" thing they had going on. OMG! What if they were sucking all the pretty out of her and giving it to Ella?! NOOOOOOO! She didn't wanna be a thing!

So, then the 17 year old SQUEALED and no, it wasn't out of excitement. "Please gimme my hair back."SOB."Please gimme my hair back."SOB."I DONT WANNA BE UGGGGGGLLLLLLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYY!!!!!"Savannah cried, looking in the mirror tears STREAMING down the tall girl's cheeks.

Ella was still feeling a little bit frantic about her hair. What else had she been CURSED with? Maybe Hogwarts was under attack right now, and this was a form of torture. She took a tiny step forwards and squinted her eyes, in order to look closer to the mirror. Yup, her hair was definitely turning more orange. And she was starting to come to terms with the fact that this WAS a legit punishment.

Wow... now her forehead was turning orange. "Okay, stoppppppppp!" She groaned, seeing as she was in the process of turning into a citrus fruit. Imagine if she suddenly blew up in size and turned into the shape of a circle?... or maybe she could magically become edible?
*CRINGE*

Jeremy slowly followed Hecate into the Hooligan Hole and took the offered seat beside her. Whoa, that was just...extreme. He leaned forward slightly as the magic in the mirrors started to happen, his eyes fixated on the two girls and their reactions. "Look at Savannah." He muttered more to himself than to his colleague, obviously rather shocked by her reaction.

Savannah's Mirror: The fingers on Savannah's left hand joined the ones from her right in non-existence while both her feet slowly started to disappear.

Ella's Mirror: Starting at the tip of her nose the orange-ness spread across Ella's whole face, her soft skin hardening where it had changed colors.

And she was too worried about her hair, yes her precious sweet hair to really care about the fact that her FEET were disappearing. She didn't even LIKE her feet that much but she did like her hair, oh boy did she like her hair. And THIS explained why she was still flailing and sobbing about her hair being gone.

"PLEEEEEEASSSSSSE STOOOP!!"She whined, pouting her lips out. She just wanted her hair back, ALL she wanted was her hair and PRETTINESS back. Did she know this wasn't permanent? Yeah but she didn't care. She didn't like being ugly for this long, it made her all sad and stuff.

And then she saw the feet.....

"FREAKIN' COOL."

*sigh*

"You know, I think you have tortured me ENOUGH!"

All they had to do was ruin the Kate Spades and she would fall over and die. She'd DIE.

Oh My Merlin.
Ella's worst fear came true, and she was definitely turning into an actual orange. It spread across her whole face, making her look vile, and for once, it made Ella actually worry about her appearance.
"Stop TORTURING me!!!!!!" She shouted, 'cause no one could apparently hear her. What sort of punishment was this? A ridiculous one, that's what...

"ARRRGH!" Just, what was the point? Ella had complained enough and the professor's must of heard her. So what else could she do? There was no option, other than to watch the transformation into a common fruit. Nice.

Hecate smirked at Jeremy, "Oh it should get better... maybe they'll learn how to get along..." Her eyes widened. "If you'd let me bring the boy in here, we could have him watch them... hmmm... Unless..." She thought a moment and then took her her wand out flicking it at one and then the other. "Just a little touch... of fun..."

Savannah's Mirror: The image of the boy who the girls had fought over, Aiden Chevalier, appeared before her in the front mirror, as if he was on the other side. It was a perfect replica, so she wouldn't be able to tell he wasn't real. He didn't speak, his brow merely furrowed as he watched her change into... something.

Her legs dissappeared and her torso floated to the ground where her arms now began to disappear... and something was pertruding from where her nose had been...

Ella's Mirror: The image of the boy who the girls had fought over, Aiden Chevalier, appeared before her in the front mirror, as if he was on the other side. It was a perfect replica, so she wouldn't be able to tell he wasn't real, and she couldn't see what was going on in Savvy's mirror. He didn't speak, his brow merely furrowed as he watched her change into... something.

She began to plump up. First her arms, then her legs, then her feet, which ripped her shoes off. Her skin began to feel coarse and hard as the orange color continued to take over her body.

..........she just wasn't even fighting anymore, none at all. Was there any point? No, cause they weren't changing their minds and just wanted her to suffer!

Arms? Yep, they were gone. The blonde scowled not even saying a word. She had NO idea what she was turning into but whatever it was? Yeah, Savannah didn't like it.

Oh hey, look it was Aiden. You see, usually she would have sobbed and cried and acted all hysterical but she DIDN'T. Why? Cause this wasn't the boy she wanted anymore, nope nope. She was ONE step ahead of the professors there. Savannah let out a sigh, not even looking at the mirror. Oh and look? Something was coming out from her nose?!

Cooooool.

Ella decided to stop speaking now, because it wasn't going to get her nowhere. So she just stood there in a sulk, whilst the ugly transformation got worse. She blinked and had to look twice, but was that... Aiden?! And he was right there, watching her turn UGLY?!

NO. She had been getting sooooo big that her shoes fell off! Ow, Aiden was surely going to break up with her after he'd seen this monstrosity. Ella frowned, shut her eyes, then waddled around to face the back mirror, just so she couldn't see Aiden anymore. Was this ever going to end? Seriously...
