A passage that couldn't be seen before the flood is now perfectly visible to all. The headmaster has repaired it so that it no longer goes very far. Don't get caught smooching down here (I hear the Slytherin prefects are rather strict ).

Patrick walked down a corridor he had stumbled upon recently in silence. This seemed to be a sort of secret passage way or something like the sorts. It was nice to have a place to escape to now. He wasn't exactly fond of roaming the grounds now or lounging in the common room. Three girls had ruined that thank you very much!

So now he would find a place to hide in this passage. It was dark and he was afraid he was going to hit a wall or happen upon an...awkward scene. He took out his wand just in case.

Lucky had never actually exploded the passage way even though she's been attending this school for five years now. Had there even been a secret passage way here during all her years here? This she did not know since she had discovered it only last term. If it had been here the whole time, then that was proof she was such a slowww person!

Her green high heels made click-clacking noises as she walked down the passage way; her wand was out in front of her, the tip of it lite. She was only going to spend a few minutes exploring this place, and then she was going to go get some Lunch in the Great Hall. Yepp!

As she went a little bit further down the passage way, she spotted an outline of a person a little ways further from her. It looked like a student from what she could see from where she was, but what if it wasn't? She stood where she was for a moment, examining the outline before she took a couple more steps forward, and then she noticed that it WAS a student. Apparently, she wasn't the only one wanting to go exploring day. "Hey you," she called out. Such a nice welcoming. "Wouldn't it be smart to lite your wand? It's kinda dark in here."

As Patrick stood in the dark for mere minutes he started to hear a somewhat strange noise. He held up his wand in case something was about to attack. Then as the noise got louder and closer he saw the outline of a person. He jumped slightly in surprise when he heard a voice and then realized that this was a girl's voice. Oh great. Just what he needed. When she said he should have his wand lit he just rolled his eyes there in the dark.

"I was planning on lighting it soon for your information," he replied to her question. At least by the looks of it she wasn't any younger than a 4th year. "Lumos," he said, and the tip of his wand lit up. He was able to see a blond haired girl and looking down at her feet she wore high heels. "Happy now?" he asked in a snappy tone.

Lucky KNEW she should have worn a light jacket or something because it was just a little bit cold down here. Geez, it was like NOON; how could it be cold? Oh, right. They were in the dungeons. Everything was 20 degrees colder down here. She should have gotten use to being cold by now she she LIVED down here, but she hadn't gotten use to it just quite yet. Besides, this secret passage was was colder than the common room! At least to her it felt that way.

"Very happy," she replied back with a slight grin. "Now we can see each other." And this boy was sure cuteeee! Hehehehe. She pulled some of her blonde hair behind her ear before she introduced herself, "I'm Lucky Torelli."

Marie was walking back to the Slytherin Common Room hoping to relax a little before she started to study. She was already feeling overwhelmed with all the homework and they had only been back to school a few weeks.

Walking along the dungeon corridor she remembers the secret passage. Really wanting a quiet place to relax she decides to go there instead of the common room. She didn't think anyone would bother her there. Only one other person had ever been there with her and well... he wouldn't come down there now... would he?

Deciding it was safe to go there and not be bothered she walked all the way to the end of the passage before sitting down and leaning against the wall. She didn't even bother lighting her wand, she didn't need any light to sit there, it's not like she needed to see anything.

Closing her eyes she put her head back to rest a little bit. Ahh, peace and quiet, something she had not had since coming back to school.

HOMEWORK! That was what they had already--TONS of it! What kind of people were these new staff, who would load them homework in the first few weeks?! It was unbelievable. Incredible. Unacceptable. And he'd try to avoid homework as long as he could, until the last day. Then, he'd feelt sorry and panick, and try to do the HW. He didn't have any Marie to help him now. Talking of whom... he realised where he was passing by. Secret Passage. The very place everything'd started. He hadn't ever been here since that incident. With a strange feeling mixed with nostalgia, he turned to that place, and walked in.

It was still the same, peaceful place, his favourite hiding spot. It was cool, peaceful, quiet and dark--

"OUCH!" Yes, it was indeed dark! He had just fell over something, probably someone. He quickly got up. His leg hurt. "I'm really sorry--" Wait. It was better to see the face of the person he was apologising first. Drawing his wand, he lit it and pointed at the person, and lowered it down immediately. It was Marie. His face fell. Lucky that it was dark. He stood there awkwardly, not sure what to say. Then, remembering he hadn't apologised properly, he talked again, less excited this time.

"Yeah, sorry to bother you. I should probably go..." Guess his peaceful spot wasn't that peaceful anymore. He couldn't help but wonder if she dated Carter yet. Maybe she made here their spot too. Yes, he really should leave before he saw that hurting scene.

Marie was just starting to enjoy the quiet when suddenly...

"Hey, watch where you're going!" she shouted as someone fell over her. Whoever it was that fell over her was lucky she couldn't see them or else she might have punched them in the nose for falling on her. She pulled her legs up close to her as her attacker lit their wand. Looking up at the person she couldn't believe who she seen standing there. It was....

Evan!

Not believing it was him she shook her head and blinked her eyes a couple of times. Looking back up at him she sort of smiled.

Yep, it was Evan all right.

Any anger she had been feeling suddenly disappeared as she sat there listening to him apologize to her. This was the most he had talked to her since their first day back.... and well, that day didn't end so great for them.

Wait! No! She didn't want him to leave already. "No, you don't have to leave," she said. "I'll go, you can stay." She said. As much as she wanted to stay there with him she had told herself she wasn't going to do anything that would hurt him anymore, and well being with him here, in the passage, where they had first started dating probably wasn't such a good idea. She started to get up to leave trying not to look at him. She didn't want him to see that she really didn't want to go, she just wanted to do what she thought would make him happy... and that was for her to get away from him.

Although Evan missed that little smile while he was busy with extinguishing his wand again, he did see that shake of head. And he took a small step towards the exit. Did he really want to be with Marie? Yes, he did. But in these conditions, while she shook her head when she saw him? Not at all. Seeing she didn’t want to see him anymore did hurt. And he was done with being hurt by her. He really was. He’d promised himself to avoid her, and it was obvious once again that it was the right decision. She didn’t want—

What? He did not have to leave? Looking confused, he tried to get some hidden meaning. Then he heard the next sentence. Of course. One of them had to leave, didn’t they? And she was trying to be polite by being that one. He shook his head, then remembering that she probably couldn’t see, he held her arm for one small moment to say she really didn’t have to leave, that they could talk again like in the old days.

He didn’t just do that.

Quickly letting go of her, he stood in half horror and half hesitation. He had to say something upon it, but what?! There wasn’t anything that came to his mind to say. But he couldn’t get his legs move, either. So, in silence, he waited for her to say something. If she was going to say, that is. He didn’t think she would, after that little contact. She was more likely to just storm off again.

Marie turned to walk away from Evan. She was not going to be the reason for his pain any longer. He had made it pretty clear to her that he wanted nothing to do with her. He had made sure to avoid her and ignore her whenever they were around each other. That was pretty clear to her that he didn't want to talk to her or be around her. Not to mention that he was so willing to leave her now.

Wait, he grabbed her arm... did that mean he wanted her to stay? He let go of her just as quickly as he had grabbed her though. Maybe he was just trying to push her along and not really trying to get her to stay. She really didn't know what to think. He still seemed to be giving her the silent treatment and she was not a mind reader, although sometimes she wished she was... like now.

"Look Evan, I don't want to hurt you anymore so I'm just going to go. You've made it pretty clear that you don't want to talk to me anymore so there really is no point in me staying here." That is unless he was done ignoring her. He would have to be the one to tell her that though because she was not going to just sit there so he could ignore her some more.

Evan still couldn't believe that his hand failed him like that. His brain had clearly ordered to stay away, to avoid any kind of contact whether through skin or words, or even eyes, but look at what his arm had just done! Touching her! And not just touching, but grabbing her arm to make her stay!

Just unbelievable.

He looked up at her eyes again, or at least somewhere he thought her eyes were located, when she talked. Wait--what was she saying again? When did he say that he didn't want to talk to her? His brain said in numerous times, yes, but never out loud. He was silent for a few seconds to recall that moment when he made it clear he didn't want to talk to her anymore. However, no memory came out.

"You don't hurt me, with your presence anyway." Though she did hurt him with her actions, especially this kind when she thought he didn't want him. "And I've never said such a thing. I do want to talk to you." So, there was a point in her staying here. But, was he going to keep feeling alright after their conversation here? That didn't look like happening. Nevertheless, he wanted her to stay. Because people did want the ones they loved to stay.

Marie couldn't believe what she was hearing. He wanted to talk to her and her being around him wasn't hurting him? That just totally confused her more. If he wanted to talk to her then why did he always ignore her and give her the silent treatment? He made it a point to go out of his way to avoid her. That was not how someone who wants to talk to you acts.

After thinking on what he said for a few minutes she just had to ask him to clarify what he meant. "Let me see if I have this straight. I am not hurting you by being around you and you say you want to talk to me. Then why is it that you make it a point to ignore me and give me the silent treatment whenever I see you?" Because clearly he had done just that in DADA class, and well pretty much every other class they had been in. That is except in Muggle Studies Club, where he found it in himself to give her dirty looks.

Oooh, secret passages were cool. So him being him, he had to start walking down the thing to see how far he could go.

Even at the entrance he figured that he should have brought a coat. But what could he do about it now?

Diggy nearly jumped through the roof when he felt someone else walk into the tunnel. He turned around, "Holy chocolate you scared me," he wheezed holding onto his chest,

Lori was NOT impressed by the fact she had never found this secret-bloody-passage, and now she stood in it, and it's darkness; bare-footed. How annoying?!

After picking her heels up in her hand -- it was dark, stepping in icky stuff, in heels was NOT good--, Lori had cast a quick 'lumos' with her wand, and started to skip down the passage. Maybe you could get OUT the other end? How ... amazing.

"OOOF! Watch iiiiii-TORINNNN!!!" What a weird place to find him!

Torin started as suddenly he heard someone wheezing out at him. "Oh geeze. I'm sorry. You scared me too." He started to laugh a little now that he saw that it was only a youngish looking boy. You could never be too sure who you will meet in secret passages.


Bright light.

Why was there suddenly a bright light in his face?

"Lori! What are you doing here?" He stared at her and saw that she was holding her shoes in her hand. Why was she here in this place? She was like Brody and Gold. And well, he could sorta see Gold down here, but not Lori or Brody.

OH HOLY MERLIN AND HIS SHOE COLLECTIONNNN!

There was someone ELSE in here aswell. Squealing a little bit as he spoke, Lori clung tightly onto her lit up wand, and her heels, ready to use them BOTH if needed.

She giggled, and hooked an arm through her best friends boyfriends arm, and then shrugged. "Exploring, Mr. Prefect, i'm exploring. What are YOU doing down here? Escaping on me, when I need you most? Do you want me to break down again?" He was such a bad Daddy Prefect.

Oh. See? See? Marie was the one who didn't want to talk to him, because she wasn't answering him now! Evan waited patiently for an action. And it felt like an age when she spoke again. Finally.

He sighed. How many times did he have to tell her that he still liked her? It was humiliating after a point, like she was constantly asking it to show that he was wasting his time, for she was with Carter now, ready to be happy ever after. "How come you can hurt me while I still like you?" There, Marie, happy? You made me say it again, and AGAIN! "Just... I remember the past." Well, naturally. And he remembered Carter, the most important thing. Though he avoided that topic. It'd only infuriate him again. "And I've never ignored you." It was more like avoiding. When a person was ignored, s/he wasn't even in the thoughts of the subject. But when s/he was avoided, s/he was usually in the subject's mind somewhere, just s/he wasn't wanted to be seen. And Marie usually occupied his mind, except when he was with Mina and Ella. "And, I'm usually silent, because I don't know what to say. It's hard to talk to your ex, y'know." He winced. Maybe it'd be better if he didn't say that last sentence. None of his body parts obeyed his brain these days when around Marie, anyway.

He rolled his eyes as she hooked her arm through his. "I was exploring too. I got bored. And I was surprised to see you here." Because she was a Power Puff Girl, and he didn't think that they ventured into secret passages. Maybe he was wrong about that.

"So how are you?"

He waited for his heartbeat to slow down. The boy was casting him a big shadow he was like 7 feet tall and he was scared of Diggy. That was funny, well not right now that he was scare out of his wits. "I scared you?" he asked with a giggle. "I'm not even 5 feet tall." he pointed out thinking it was nice to scare someone that much bigger and older than him.

Diggy squealed and ran behind the older boy. "Is she going to kill me?" He asked as the girl looked like she was going to stab him with her heels. He peeked behind the boy as the girl waved her wand at him. Yep, she was a crazy one.

Lori grinned at him through the light, and picked her wand up so she could see Torins face properly. "Surprised? Whyyy? Is this just a passage for boys? Oh. ER. Should I get going then?" WHooooopsie.

Going to kill him? That was NOT nice. Giving the kid a good ol' glare, Lori jabbed her 'lumos'-ed wand over in his direction (now that he was hiding behind Torin, it was easier to reach round), and whispered. "If I was going to kill you, d'you reckon I would REALLY be providing light?"

He shrank back from the girl when she glared at him. He wanted to turn in run but he found that predators enjoyed the chase. So he stood his ground. Making sure the older boy was in front of him as he did. "Well you can't kill me if you can see," he pointed out to her. That seemed painfully obvious.

Torin snorted. "Well, more like startled since I didn't expect anyone to be here." But the guy himself was rather short and seemed harmless as he had realized a second later.

And he was scared of Lori? She wouldn't hurt anyone unless they deserved it. "She's nice." But he wasn't sure how he felt about the guy hiding behind him. He didn't really mind, but seeing as he had his arms hooked with Lori, it was sorta awkward.

"No, I just didn't think I'd find you here." He shrugged. "And you never told me how you are doing." He wanted to know because he was worried. Brody had told him about them snuggling in the girls dorms. And that was why he loved her so much.

He nodded. He didn't really think the boy was scare of him but it was nice to startle someone his size. "Well you totally scared me," he wasn't afraid to admit he was scared. His parents always told him to be true to his feelings.

He relaxed and stepped from behind the boy. "Oh well then..." He didn't really think that the girl was nice as she was waving her wand at him with some very pointy heels in her hand.

He looked around them back down the tunnel. "Oh well um I didn't mean to bother you guys." he turned and headed back toward the dungeon corridor.

She knew it, she was hurting him just by being around him. Gold was right, there was no way they could be friends again while he still liked her. It did hurt him to be around her.

Wait!

Did he seriously think he never ignored her? Then what did he call giving her the silent treatment and not talking to her when she made an effort to talk to him...? Taking a time out? "You do too ignore me. I tried talking to you but you acted like I wasn't even there." Crap, maybe she shouldn't have said that. She wasn't trying to start an argument with him. "Look, I know it is awkward for us to be around each other right now, but really, do we have to act like we hate each other?" Because Merlin knows, she does not hate him. Even when she was mad at him she didn't hate him. "I really want us to be friends again, but I know that's not possible right now." Well not possible for him so it seemed. "Do you think we can at least make an effort not to be total enemies? You know, like if we are in the same room.... we don't act like the other isn't there." Like he does to her in classes.
