Topiary bushes cut into unique shapes are draped in twinkly lights, while other soft lights twinkle over head. Occasionally, you’ll see one of the plants move, but don’t worry: they have been shaped into the House mascots and charmed to move in their planters.

Chase walked outside. She didn't feel like being inside when she had no date. And she didn't dance. That's becasue she never tried.She walked along this garden thing alone......*sigh*

There was a gentle breeze in the air. Everything was calm and quite. That is until out of nowhere a popping sound came. That sound was quickly followed by a large black haired man. He would've seemed very threatening if he had stood still the whole time, but he quickly sat down onto the grassy ground, his hand gently rubbing his forehead.

"I really hate apparation," he murmured to himself. With his eyes tightly shut, he lifted his head up. "Lua? Luaaaa?" What was taking her so long to come?! He should've made her go first. "Luaaaa!"

A petite green eyed young Lady smoothly popped out of thin air taking a few steps over the green grass. Lua Stone-Moretti had a huge grin on her face as she took in the sight of the Garden it was soooo beau- "Leo?" she called out after him, where did he land? Oh boy. Missing Husband.

Lifting her dress she skipped around a bush worriedly tracing his voice, the man hated apparition. "Leo!" she squeaked skipping her way to him, immediately pulling out the small sack of salt she carried in her purse for him and knelt down beside him. "Honey! here sniff the salt" she pressed it to his nose as her eyes worriedly drank him. No need to fuss? He would be okay? This time it was a longer distance, and her Leo never did well with apparition. Need to get him a drink later. "Are you alright?" she couldn't help fuss over him. Sigh.

Leo sat there on the damp grass, waiting for his wife to come and get him. He thought he wouldn't be getting sick over apparition this time around. Oh how he was so wrong. He should've brought a pouch with salt in it along with him and placed it in his pocket. How much of an idiot was he right now?

The brunette kept on rubbing his forehead, pausing instantaneously when he heard his wife's voice calling him. He knew that tone of voice. She was worried. Leo couldn't help himself and chuckled under his breath until she came to his aid. His wife is always worried over the smallest things, and when things got serious she'd wear a straight face and face it the problem head on.

"Lu, I'm fine." Leo told her, a smile planted on his lips as he heard her ruffle through her purse to take out the salt for him to smell. The moment he felt something against his nose, he took a sniff out of it and sighed. He could feel the tension in his forehead lessen. With a deep breath, he opened his bright blue eyes and looked into Lua's greens. "Hiya," he murmured as his hand snaked its way to hold onto hers. "Thanks for that. What would I do without you, mm?"

"Mhmmm. You'd be doing a whole lot" she teased him as a blush ran up her cheek, "Hiya back" she smiled at his pretty blues, ever since she saw him in that Tux this evening and her thoughts were all over the place. He seemed less dizzy to her now but for reassurance she kept the small sack of salt pressed to his nose and held onto his hand and squeezed it.

"Lucky for you I know how to bring the dead back, you could never escape me Moretti!" she mused, her eyes studiously taking in her husband. She bet his head throbbed from dizziness, she sighed. Leo was generally tough and helluva scary to people. But for her, he was someone else. Someone she cared for and had a different opinion on, he was a good man her Leo. Very good man.

Leo grinned weakly at the blush that ran up her cheeks. His hand gently squeezed hers back in response as he smelled a little more of the salt. "I think that's enough, love." He said as his other hand pushed away the sack of salt away from his nose so he could have a good look at her. Her hair was pulled back, a few strands falling out of place. He liked her hair like that since it showed her face more. It wasn't that he didn't like her hair down, but he preferred it like that.

"Ahh, I wouldn't dare to do so, Mrs. Moretti. If I escape you, someone might dare take my place. I can't allow that." Leo chuckled, leaning forward and gently pecking her lips. "You, my dear, only belong to me. Now I'd really like to get off this grass. My bottom is getting wet," he laughed.

She lowered her hand, the one that was holding the salt but didn't put the salt away yet. Ready to fuss over him again if he showed ailment, but instead she found herself blushing immensely drat the man knew how to mess with her. She looked down shyly after his peck, "No one would ever fill your spot Moretti!" she admitted with a silly grin. Then looked up at him with her sparkling eyes, she loved him. If only he knew how much.

"Oh my no you look really handsome in this Tux and we don't want it wet" she chuckled placing both her hands on his shoulder to stand up, then attempted to help him up with their joint hands. Leo was about three times her size, attempting to help him up was very amusing.

Leo laughed at her claim of not wanting his tux to get wet. This coming from the woman who used magic twenty-four seven. She would have probably waved her wand at him and had him in dry pants once more.

He watched her as she supported herself by using his shoulders so she could stand up. Leo was about to stand up by himself, but soon enough he found his hands joined with hers. She seemed to be trying to help him get up. He stared at her in disbelief for a few seconds before he burst into laughter. "Oh god," he cracked up, rolling on his back with laughter. "Oh, oh don't do that again. I beg of you! Can't you see how small you are compared to me?! Ah...Ahaha!"

Once he laughed she decided he was back to himself again, so she could put the salt back in her small bag when she could. And focused to help him up, but drat the man! She raised her brow at him first but then smiled as he rolled around in laughter.

"Well if i didn't notice that after 10 years of marriage then i have a problem" she mused wanting to glare at him, but she couldn't. Not at her Leo. She shrugged herself, "I wanted to help you honey! But seeing your back to your mean self, then do it on your own" she shrugged her shoulders and stood taking a few steps away from him setting the salt back in her bag then looked around for a pathway, her heals were already digging into the soil, which she didn't mind but she didn't want to ruin her dress early on. She had friends to meet! She glanced back at Leo to check on him with an amused smile..

Mikayla rushed towards the garden, she sat down on a bench and took a few deep breaths, "it can get crowded in there..." she said to herself. Then looking around, brushing her fringe away from her eyes and feeling the breeze in her hair. "Perfect..." she added.

Lucas needed some air. He wasn't going to dance just yet he needed to find Melissa but she went somewhere. Typical. He hadn't been in Hogwarts for 5 years and she couldn't at least show him are this ball. No she had to go somewhere on her own. Oh well he could find his way around. He glided into the garden. At least it wasn't crowded here. It was alright. Just the nice cool air. He heard a woman say something about the ball which was similar to his own thoughts. "It sure can," he spoke back.

Mikayla turned around to see a man, talking back to her. "Hello," she said with a smile appearing on her face. "I'm Mikayla," she said holding her hand out, "whats your name?" she asked, looking at him. She thought back at what Jay was doing, in a small daydream which made it look like she was staring at him, "Oh, sorry I just... daydreamed..."

Lucas nodded at her and returned her smile. Huh? What about Surname? Oh well. "Lucas Sawyer," he said and removed his hand from his side to shake her hand and let it fall back to it's position again. "Nice to meet you Mikayla."

"Nice to meet you, my full Name Is Mikayla Sinyos, sorry about that." she said still smiling, she giggled a bit and quickly turned her head to the flowers to avoid any more embarrassment. "This place is beautiful isn't it..." she asked.

Was Mikayla reading Lucas's mind or something because how did she know that. Oh well... Huh? Wait the giggling. Sigh. "No, no it's alright," he reassured her and smiled, looking at her a bit odd because she turned her head away from him. Okay then! Beautiful? He didn't actual get a full look at the place when he came in here. So he scanned the garden. Yeah he had to admit that it was pretty descent. "Yeah it is," he agreed.

Mikayla turned around to look at Lucas again she looked at him, his eyes were brown, she liked brown eyed people, she didnt know what to do, she knew she would giggle and felt like she was blushing. She placed her fringe at the side of her head.

Rae didn't know how she was supposed to look at one of these ball things, she spent hours messing with the dress, then her hair. Ugh, what was she supposed to do with her hair? She first tried to just leave it like it was, then tried to put it up, then tried to curl her hair with a spell.... That didn't work. Rae finally decided to just take the purple out of it and leave it like it usually was, wavy and a bit messy. That didn't let her stop freaking out though. She walked through the great hall at all of the really REALLY beautiful girls... Merlin! Xylon should probably just ditch her looking like this. She walked outside to the garden, it was pretty out here. Maybe she would just wait out here all night and spare herself the embarrassment. Rae sighed as she leaned against a tree that had those sparkly lights all tied in it.

Huh? What was going on? Lucas was a little worried. Was Mikayla okay? "Erm, are you okay?" he asked cautiously, slightly raising an eyebrow. Now she was blushing. Great. Did every woman think that. Well he knew someone didn't... He just pretended that he didn't notice it, that would work right?

Mikayla Rolled her eyes a bit in dissapointment, "Not really, my cousin is inside having the time of his life with his girlfriend and the only reason im out here is because I am a bit embarressed but i dont really mind." she said picking out one of the flowers. "That smells nice..." she said. "Do you work anywhere? Like the ministry?" she asked curiously.

Now why was Mikayla rolling her eyes?! Women. Lucas never understood them. "Really? Wait embarrassed...of what?" he asked. Then he waited for a second. Yeah of course she didn't mind. He nodded at her, he wasn't going to smell those flowers, he would rather have a conversation wit her. "I do, actually I do work in the Ministry. Magical Transport, Portkey Office. Do you?" he asked back.

"Yes, I am in the education department." she replied smiling. "You look a bit confused?" she added, noticing him thinking about something. "That he is having such a good time, I just wish i was that young again, not as easy when your 25..." she stated.

Education Department. That made Lucas think for a moment. Gladly it was alright. He wouldn't show any other signs of confusion now. "Education Department. That's cool," he said smiling at her. "Er, sorry it's fine," he was confused about a lot of things in his life. Sigh. "That's good, he should just enjoy his time at Hogwarts." Also he shouldn't make any mistakes which can't be solved in the future. Man he felt slightly old giving out advice. "Your 25?" he asked. Oh no, was everyone 25 or was it him going mad. He kept it to himself though.

"Yeah, I am going 26 in around 3 weeks tomorrow," she said excitedly. "I know he enjoyed it, though he got a permanent scar across his arm thats about it..." she replied. Sitting down on the bench and feeling the breeze in her hair.

"Oh that's cool," Lucas smiled. He was only 23. He felt young now. Although 5 years in a different country did make him look older. So did that make up for it? He didn't know. Oh well! "A scar?" Mikayla's cousin got a scar on his arm? How? What on earth did he do?He had never got any scar. Just injuries from playing sports. Lots and lots of sport. It was good fun too. Like Quidditch was.
