Its early evening, a few hours before dinner time and the duelling arena has been set up for those Duelling Club members who wish for extra learning. Those who attend this meeting must be members of the duelling club and will be assigned duels to complete based on their participation in this meeting.

Truebridge is waiting, having volunteered his own free time to run the duelling club. Perhaps there will be a few others making an appearance, perhaps not.

Feel free to RP coming in late if you want, its not a class so just go for it. However rudeness will still get you a point loss. Questions may be asked at any time.

Patroclus could not contain his excitement. Not only was DADA his favourite class, he now go to practice in the duleing club. As he walking into the room, he could not help but do a little gig on the spot.
"Hey Professor" Patroclus called, to the man who was slowly but surely becoming his favourite teacher.

Melissa walked to the Duelling Club Meeting. This was going to be so cool! She couldn't wait to get taught new spells in here and most importantly how to duel. "Hello Professor Truebridge," she greeted. Huh? There was no one here that she knew. Sigh. Well she would wait.

Jackie walks into the duelling arena. She was very excited for the Duelling Club. It was one thing she loved. DADA was so much fun so she thought that the Duelling Club would be an extra fun addition. "Good morning professor," she says with a well fake smile. So far her day wasn't going to well and she needed a little cheering up. She hoped the duelling club would do so. She sat down and her face resumed the sunken look that she had been wearing. She really wished she had some true friends her, like Lila. Lila was lost in her own world at Beuxbatons. Rose and Jasper were in France, and Jake well Jake was gone. Living is own life now.

Raven brushed the brown hair from her face as she entered the Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom, noticing that it was set up like the duelling arena. Interesting that was but she wasn't about to question anything. Being a 7th year, she felt the need to have one last go at getting some good duelling in before she graduated and the dueling club was the perfect chance for that to happen. She straightened her Slytherin robes slightly, making sure they were perfect because she knew it was best to look good for her house at all times.

Placing her now dark brown hair up into a ponytail, thanking Merlin that the blond had washed out before, Evelyn made her way into the arena and smiled at the waiting Professor.

"Hello, Professor Truebridge." she greeted happily, before walking more into the room, adjusting the bag that was slung on her shoulder in the process. She was extremely grateful that she only brought her wand, notebook, and pencil (bleh), juuust in case they were needed... making the bag a lot more lighter than usual.

No need to have bruised shoulders or anything.

Bouncing into the duelling arena in her sneakers, although careful not to jostle her school bag too much (her ferret was inside, in what was becoming his usual location), Grayson looked around. Apparently she was one of the first to arrive, as she only saw a few other students there already. And the professor. "Hi Professor Truebridge!," she said animatedly, a grin on her face. It wasn't for no reason she enjoyed DADA as much as she did, and even that wasn't entirely due to her mischievousness. She just really enjoyed the subject, and was good at it.

Now to see if anyone she knew was going to arrive. They had to have signed up, because she saw no reason for anyone to not have signed up for duelling club. It just looked like too much fun not to. Ooh, there was Raven! Moving across the room, she arrived next to the older girl. "Hi Raven. Looking forward to things?," she said then, another grin on her face.

Raiden slipped quietly into the duelling arena, a slight smile on his face. He had been waiting for this club to start. Of all the ones in the school now, this was the one he felt would be most useful to him. Considering his duelling experience was sorely limited, and all that...

"'lo sir," he said, smiling at Professor Truebridge before he joined the rest of the students that had just arrived. His eyes lingered on Evelyn for a moment, and the prefect considered asking her if she was okay, but... well she looked alright, so surely that meant she was. Hmmm.

Selena walked into the dueling arena a bit excited and nervous at the same time. She was also quite hungry. "Hello Professor," she said with a smile. Did she know anyone there so far? Yes but it didn't mean that she liked them.

William was excited; his eyes glistened with glee as he bounced into the dueling club for the first time, looking around in silent wonder. It was amazing he mused, glancing to professor Truebridge with a nod and a wave. "Hello professor." he said cheerfully as he moved further into the room, his wand itching to be used. His lips still glowed bright green, somehow the glow in the dark was getting stronger, and everyone could see it without the lights off. He wasn't worried however, it made him look cooler.

Spotting Grayson he smiled, "Hey Grayson." he grinned, bouncing over to her with stopping.

Out of the corner of her eye, Raven noticed Grayson walk over to her and she chuckled slightly; it seemed like wherever she was, her partner in crime wasn't too far away. This was definitely a good experience to show off her skills to a 3rd year who had the potential to do great things later on in life. "Ah hello Grayson, I am actually; figure that this is going to be one of the last big things I'm doing this term. I cannot wait to just be a little bit of a show off with my casting abilities." she said with a slight devious smirk.

"Hello everyone." Truebridge greeted. "Sit down and talk amongst yourselves if you like, we'll wait until others arrive before we begin the meeting. And don't worry I'll let you leave in time for your dinner." After assigning their duelling partners of course.

Mina smiled as she entered the duelling meeting. Excited didn't evens start to describe how she felt about the club. She had been looking forward for the first meeting ever since she signed up. She needed the extra help and her joining the club was no like it. That alone was a plus, this wasn't something she would normally do. Yet, she was beyond excited about it.

Seeing Truebridge, she smiled and gave him a polite nod. Glancing around the room, she spotted Patroclus and smirked. Sneaking up behind him, she threw her arms around him and gave him a hug. "I still owed you a hug from our History of Magic battle," she said with a giggle as she stepped back from him and took a seat.

Grayson could tell, even before Raven's chuckle, that the seventh-year was amused by her appearance. But she also figured it didn't surprise the Slytherin either. She figured something like this would be an obvious place for her. She giggled, though, at Raven's words. "Of course. Why should you not show-off a little? We need to make sure people aren't going to forget you. And this is as good a place as any to do more stuff." And she could maybe get more ideas for later, especially since she had a feeling she was almost like Raven's heir, as the pranks and everything in Hogwarts were considered. Along with her partner in crime.

But then she heard her name, and turned with a smile to see William. "Hi William," she said, a curious look creeping onto her face as she struggled not to giggle again. "Did you know you have green lips? And I think you wouldn't need your wand to see in the dark, either." She wanted to know how to do that. It could be something she could use on her little brother sometime.

Oohh, yay, first Duelling Club meeting! Vashti was really looking forward to this, especially the duelling part. She thought it'd be fun and a great way to learn more spells! She could always do with learning some new spells.

Looking around the arena as she entered, she didn't see anyone she knew just yet. Maybe they'd get here soon. She could wait. So she decided to greet the professor while she waited. "Good evening, Professor Truebridge," she said, smiling.

Jackie sits sadly with a bored look. She was excited for the duelling but she was sad from the day. Dinner sounded good. She couldn't wait.

Raven nodded at what Grayson had to say, she was completely correct seeing as the Slytherin's intentions this term were to make people remember her at this school and that wasn't going to be a difficult thing since she already had a bit of a reptuation for being a heartbreaker and a bit of a troublemaker. "This is also a good place to discuss a certain something I've been planning for the past few days, something that could definitely make us eternally known around this school." The smirk on the seventh year Slytherin's lips grew slightly bigger at just the mere idea of what she had plotted.

Finally it was time for the first meeting of the duelling club. Marie s so excited she practically ran to the duelling arena. Of course she was still dragging Destiny behind her as Professor Mean Man Lawson still had not unbound them. "Come on Destiny, I don't want to be late. Pick up the pace will you?"

They finally made it to the arena and went inside. It didn't look like they were late, there were only a few students there. Heading over to sit with Evelyn they passed Professor Truebridge. "Hello there Professor," Marie said as she gave the rope a little tug.

Why did Destiny have t be so difficult tonight? Who wouldn't want to come to a club where you get to duel?

Once they finally made it over to Evelyn she sat down. Hey Evelyn.

As he was seized from behind, Patroclus instinctively reached for his wand, ready to defend himself from whoever was attacking him. However hearing Mina’s familiar voice, he laughed off his original shock.
“Nice to see you too” he replied, returning the hug, “Pumped for Truebridge’s private tutoring?! I know I am!”

Alexandrie Malfoy-Lupin entered the room smiling she couldn't wait to start, She glanced around not really knowing most of them, She looked at the Professor, "Hello Professor Truebridge." She greeted her Head of House with a smile, she liked DADA Class and This would probably be even more fun then that.

Will grinned, "I'm aware. Charms homework." he replied crossing his eyes to see just how green his lips were. Much more brighter than before he mused. Hmm... "Should be gone in another day or so though. Wish I could keep it, looks kind of interesting." he added with a smirk as he chuckled. He looked over to the girl that was standing beside Grayson and nodded, "Hey." he said folding his arms over his chest.

Torin entered the room and was glad to see that he wasn't late for the meeting. He didn't want to miss out and not have a partner.

"Hello, Professor," he said before taking a seat beside Raven.

Destiny was trying her hardest to keep up, she really was. It wasn't her fault Marie had really big feet and could walk or run really fast. "Marie, I would pick up the pace if I knew what it looked like!" Pffft. Her friend was so weird sometimes, making her look for things she had no idea what they were.

Entering the arena, she really wanted to stop a moment and catch her breath, but being bound to Marie, taking a break was not going to happen. "Hi Professor!" she squeaked out as Marie decided to pull the rope. HMPH. Now Truebridge was going to think her voice was ALWAYS that high.

Walking slower then she had been, so Marie would get frustrated again, she made it over to Evelyn and took a seat. "Evelyn! Help me!"

Help her KILL Marie..

Her hazel eyes scrolled over to the boy who was speaking to his partner in crime, it seemed like she was one of the few older students actually in attendance at the moment but it wasn't a big deal really. "Hey there, don't believe we've met before; the name's Athlon... cue dramatic pause Raven Athlon, 7th year Slytherin." She said with a slight bow of her head.

Taking a seat, Evelyn waited for someone she knew to come in and to talk to. Someone, other than the Lufoy and Riddle girls. Pfft.

And her wish came true! Well, at least they weren't killing each other as of yet. Seeing Destiny come into the arena, after Marie...again... the Slytherin made a mental goal to start making Destiny run with her in the mornings and evenings. Not only was it a stress reliever, but since Marie would have to be running with them as well, perhaps both of them would be too tired to fight with eachother.

"Hello." she said to the both of them as they sat down next to her, raising a brow at Destiny when she heard the plea of help. Smirking, she shook her head, not intending to really help her at the moment since Marie was RIGHT THERE, but later on, perhaps she would go and talk to Lawson or something.

Not that THAT would do any help, but her friends' constant fighting was driving her crazy, no matter how amusing it was. "Still stuck together?" Bahaha! Might as well enjoy as it lasts though.
