Each desk has been equipped with an anti-cheating quill, calculator and blank parchment for you to show your work, as well as the exam paper. Please come in and work on your exams; when you're finished, you'll see an area on Professor Hadley's desk for you to turn them in, as well as Professor Hadley sitting there observing / grading last minute assignments / wishing you all a good summer. Good luck!

So many words of wisdom that I am trying to be. It'll be in my own time.
Kind of EXHAUSTED, Jake loped into the Arithmancy classroom and slumped into his seat. He was MORE than ready to go home and sleep all summer; the boy had been doing rigorous studying and practicing magic and even reading excercises.
So he was considering skipping most finals... but this one didn't seem too bad... so he'd go.
As he looked at the quill on his table, he saw it was the one he needed; anti-cheating and able to write what he thought to it.
He'd either luckily picked the right desk or the quill magically turned up.
Awesome.
He felt special.
With a smile up at Hadley, Jake got to work.

Evelyn didn't know if she was looking forward to this final or not. She loved Arithmancy, but she was nervous once again that perhaps she had not studied hard enough.
Gah, if she felt like this for these finals, what was it going to be like in fifth and seventh year!?
Walking into the classroom, the Slytherin immediately went towards the back with her head down and staring at her feet, having finally phased out of her 'sitting in the front' phase, thank Merlin. Sitting quietly down, she glanced at everything on the desk before picking up the quill. The really ugly...quill. Eh.
Well, might as well get started. Mwaha! No nerves for this final!
Feeling sick to his stomach with worry, Patroclus made his way into the Arthimancy classroom.
There on his desk was the paper of doom.
The boy felt on the edge of either tears or vomit, he could not tell. He was definitely not looking forward to this exam, no matter how much he studied, the numbers were just not sticking. All he could do was his best....right?.....
Turning the page over, he was lost for words..........
Rex walks into the Arithmancy classroom, getting himself ready to take the final exam. This was one of the hardest classes, so he hoped he would be able to get it done correctly. He would do his best.
Ellie walked into the classroom. She was definitely NOT ready for this exam. But, taking it, prepared or not, would be the best thing. If she did good, she would look forward to taking it again next term. If she did miserable, she would still take it next term, but she might not complete it, or definitely not take it by her third term, depending on how she felt on the subject.
She found a seat all set up with everything they could possibly need. Shakily, took a deep breath and lifted the quill provided. She was ready for anything. Pass or Fail, she didn't really care. And that made it a lot easier. Though, she still tried her best. Who knows? She might surprise herself.

Iris walked into the Arithmancy classroom, not really looking forward to the final. For some reason, she just wasn't as interested with Arithmancy anymore. It used to be really good... but it just ... got boring over the last two or so years.
Even so though, she'd still do the final. It was worth points. And points were good.
Sitting down in her seat, Iris picked up the fancy quill they'd given them. Surely talent could go on better things than anti-cheat quills? Oh well...
She picked up the paper and turned it over, and begun reading the first question...
Now, to remember which one the expression number was...
Really. There was no point her revising for these finals. All the information just decided to float away from her brain at the time of needing it, anyway...
Jimbo will set his turtle loose on you. { The Farley } "That's trademarked, don't use it."
Eesh. Arithmancy exam.
Well, he shouldn't do too bad, right?
Hopefully not.
Because he paid attention during class, really. And his homework got full marks...surprisingly. But he was always nervous when it came to Arithmancy. Math and numbers. No good.
He sat down and picked up the anti-cheat quill. Which got him thinking...if he could cheat, would he? Probably not. Or would he?
Hm.
Well, no point thinking about that since he can't.
He looked down at the exam sheet and read the first question. Hmm.
Expression number. He was revising that last night...
He wrote down both of the famous names and slowly got to work.
Herminny hesitantly entered the Arithmancy classroom for exam. She was never all that bad at Arithmancy but she hated the math so as much as she could do it she did not want to. Sigh.... She picked up her exam paper and looked over the questions. She knew this was gonna take a lot of work. Errr, I'm gonna be here all day, dang But she knew the only way to get to the finish of this insipid test was to start so she picked up her quil, dipped it in her ink and got to work.
And in, and out. And in, and out. Breathe deeply and don't faint.
Sarah repeated the mantra over and over in her head, trying to forget the fact this was the ARITHMANCY FINAL. Numbers, and their interpretation, were not a strong point of hers, far from it. Biting her lip hard, she gave a small nod over to Professor Hadley, before taking her seat. Eyeing up the paper, she cautiously turned it over and began fiddling with the quill now housed in her right hand.
It felt as though it had taken hours and hours, but at last Patroclus was done!
Yep thats right DONE!
Breathing out a large sigh, the boy was not at all confident with how he had gone, time and the results would tell him that.
Moving to th front of the room, Patroclus presented Professor Hadley with his paper, "I hope it isn't all rubbish!" he weakily grinned, at least it was one more final over!

Carter entered the classroom with a smile on his face. He was so ready for this exam. It was much easier (and much more useful) than all the math classes he took in muggle primary school.
He looked at his exam paper. His smile got even wider. This was going to be fun.
He set out to work. With his signature tongue-poking-out-of-the-side-of-his-mouth look of concentration on his face he began answering question after question. Occasionally he'd look to his calculator to double check his answer.
Soon he arrived at the last question. With a smile still on his face he wrote down the subjects he found in his book that seemed interesting.
He then took his exam paper and walked up to the front of the class. "Thanks for the brilliant term." he said to Professor Hadley. He turned in his paper. He then said, "Have a fantastic summer." and left the classroom.
Arithmancy: Check.
That was another final down. He was starting to see the light at the end of the final's tunnel.

Mina walked toward the Arithmancy classroom and took a deep breath before entering. She felt a bit more comfortable this term than others with her learning, but there was still a bit of doubt in her mind as to whether or not she ready had studied enough or if she might truly understand the material as she thought she did.
Exhaling, she calmed her nerves as much as she could before she finally stepped into the classroom and took a seat. It was now or never. She just needed to get through it and she would be done for the term with the subject. She did enjoy it, so it wasn't going to be all that terrible for her.
Picking up the quill, she quickly looked over the exam and read through it carefully, twice. She didn't want to mess up on something simple, no that just wouldn't do for her. After her eyes finished reading the exam for the second time, she started to work.
She was sure once she started everything would just come back and all would be well. It was all in her head and all she needed to do was put it down on parchment.
Of course Gold was here. Of course. The sixth year sat down, pulled a sheet of parchment towards herself, and picked up the provided quill. The examination, she decided, was as easy as it was long. Because long it was. Most of those interpretations and analyses would take ages. Or maybe it was just her. Too thorough.
Probably.
She took her time, re-checking her calculations at least twice, and skimming through what she had written to ensure there were no spelling mistakes or grammatical errors. In the end, satisfied with her work, she turned it in, and headed out of the classroom.
daisy sat down and with a complete level head did the calculations over and over and over. Trying to make complete and utter sense of it all. She had studied so hard and had hoped it would all pay off.
Mmm. The taste of her tomatoe jam was still in her mouth and she still wasn't aware of the hat from her History of Magic final still being atop her head. She took a deep breath and answered the last question. She turned in her work and left with a wave and a smile to her professor.

Enetring the classroom Dianna walked up to one of the vacant desks and started to work. Arithmancy wasn't really her best subjects but she opt to try her best in this term.
~
Finally finished, she stood up and turned her exam in. Looking back one more time at the classroom and giving a small wave towards the Professor before leaving.
