So Jake was in the Hospital Wing area and he was. not. injured.

Wonders will never cease.

Checking all the information he needed was in his pockets, Jake nodded to himself and knocked sharply on the door to the Healer's office, wondering what he or she was like. It took him a while to pluck up the courage to come up here; Jake still feared Healers and hospitals... But at least it smelled better than where Jazi's office was.

After knocking, Jake reluctantly went to sit on the little bench, though he was restless enough to keep his legs swinging and hands tapping.

Gabriella Ashford drummed her fingernails along the top of her desk as she glanced at the pot of puffapods she'd placed in the window just behind her desk. They were pretty, she'd give them that, but there something a little odd about them that she couldn't quite put her finger on. She shrugged and returned to her desk, intent on finishing her research on headache potions sometime in the next few days.

Just as she sat down, though, the pot of puffapods drew her attention away from her work once again, and she grabbed the pot and moved it to the windowsill lining the left wall. There...now everything was just perfect. She could actually see the pretty puffapods shining in the sunlight while she worked.

She wasn't far from the door when she heard someone knocking on it, so she simply reached over, opened the door, and smiled kindly at the young boy that awaited her on the little bench. "Oh, hello, dear. Come in, come in," she said, turning from the door but leaving it open so that he could follow her inside.

Waiiiitttt... Jake was pretty sure he had seen this woman before somewhere. Maybe at Diagon Alley, he didn't know for sure. But... still. Jake stood from the bench and paused for a moment or two before actually heading into the office.

"Yuhh-you're th-th-the Huhhh-healer?" Jake asked, just to make sure. Didn't want to tell some randomer all this, right?

Just inside of the door, Jake turned and took a moment to decide whether he should close the door before he was told to or not. That was the problem with being good. When exactly did you wait to be told to do something? How did you work it out?

"I'm Juhhh-Jake," he added. "Upstead."

Tiptoeing around in the hallways, even though she shouldn't really have to, Livvy crept all the way down to the third floor and towards the Hospital Wing. She glanced around every now and then, taking in everything and all the memories that the castle had held for her. Smiling, she walked on into the Hospital Wing, and her eyes wandered around, searching for the new Healer.

The woman had told her that she could drop by her office after the Start of the Term feast and well... HERE SHE WAS! Now... where... was... she?

Blink.

Livvy walked on over to the Healer's office and lifted her hand to knock, but stopped herself when she heard voices. Oh. She was in the middle of something. Mhm. There wasn't anything else that Livvy could do but wait. So wait she did. She plopped down on the bench and waited for the Healer to be finished with whoever was in there already.

Inside her office, Gabriella edged past Jake and opened the door. "Remember, if you need anything, please don't hesitate to drop by again," she said to him. She turned her head to glance out into the hallway, and when she did, she caught sight of a Ravenclaw girl seated on the bench just across from her office. Oh, wait...she knew this one! She'd met the Head Girl at the feast. The problem was, she didn't exactly remember the girl's name. It wasn't that Gabriella was forgetful, but she'd just been introduced to near about the entire school at that feast. It was a wonder she even remembered the name of the headmaster---her very own boss!

"Well hello there. Miss Head Girl, right?" she greeted. "I apologize, but you'll have to remind me of your name once again." She continued to hold the door open to let one student in and the other out. "Come in, please," she said, nodding towards the Head Girl.

As nervous as he was, stepping into the hospital wing when he wasn't injured felt weird, yet calming. He still couldn't get over his angry feelings but being in a familiar place where he knew he'd be safe - if only for a short while - felt good. William didn't know why he was feeling like this, or even why he was coming here to talk to the healer about it, but he figured he may as well try and get some things off his chest.

Seeing the bench he sat down, pulling his feet up to rest on the edge of the seat so he could hold his knees together and contemplate what he was going to say. It was better than doing nothing, wandering the school aimlessly hoping to bump into someone, right? Especially if it was that Mr Evil man from DADA. At that thought he shuddered again, the images of almost performing the spell running through his mind. He just hoped she'd listen; if she was anything like Healer Avalon then she would be the perfect one to speak too but if not then perhaps he needed to figure something else out. There was no way he'd tell his cousins about this, no way indeed.

Sighing again he patiently waited his turn, his eyes on his knees.

Tibi rushed down to the healer's office, finally having decided who to talk to. He didn't want to tattle, necessarily, but he was worried.

Plopping down outside the office, he was aware that William was also there, but didn't want to bother him. He didn't look like he wanted to talk to anyone.

His heart beat rapidly, partially from running down from the tower, partially out of concern and a few beads of sweat gathered on his forehead as he brushed his hair away from his eyes.

Having completed her duties in the Slytherin Common Room, Gabriella made her way back up to the third floor, singing softly as she did so. It was a habit of hers that she'd given up trying to break long, long ago.

"Just a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down, the medicine go down, the medicine go down! Just a---..."

She stopped short when she saw that not one, but two Ravenclaw boys were waiting for her on the bench just outside her office. "Well, hello there," she politely greeted. She hoped they hadn't been waiting long, although she really couldn't help her absence. She had been called away to help heal a student, after all.

"Well, let's have a little chat, hmm? Follow suit," she said, unlocking her door and heading inside. "Welcome to my happy home..."

Tiberius looked up at the sound of a woman's voice. Ah. That must be the healer. He hadn't met her yet, but he recognized her from the staff table.

Did she want both of them at once? He looked over to William and then back at her. "He was here first. I'll wait." Tibi smiled. But really, he didn't want to tell Healer Ashford what had happened with someone else around.

William looked up at the voice and looked up to see Tibi also sitting there alongside him. When had he come by? he wondered briefly before looking up once more at the other voice, finally seeing where the mysterious voice had come from.

Giving a small not-totally there smile at Tibi, as if saying thanks, William stood up and nodded a bit sheepishly before following the healer into her office and the unknown.

It was a day of almost complete freedom. The day felt uplifting and practically entirely cheerful. There was nothing particular about the day that made her want to skip all around and sing throughout the school. It was just the day. And since it was such a wonderful day and there was nothing for Livvy to do, Livvy felt that it might be appropriate of her if she gave the Healer a visit so they could finish their lil' "talk" they had days or weeks ago.

The Ravenclaw made her way over to the Hospital Wing and spotted a boy sitting on the bench outside of the Healer's office already. Smiling, she sat down next to him. "Hullo. Is someone in there already?" she asked.

Tibi looked up from considering his shoelaces when he heard a voice next to him. Smiling, he nodded.

"Yep, went in a little bit ago." The little boy continued to swing his feet, waiting his turn. He squished over on the bench to make room for her.

"Olivia, right?" That was her name... right? He spotted the Head Girl badge and mentally reminded himself not to say anything... stupid or incriminating. And nothing about why he was here.

"I'm Tiberius."

The kid was cute. Livvy decided that seconds ago. The continuous swinging of feet at a rhythmic feet was what decided it for her. He reminded her of her little brothers which just made her heart melt. She studied him for a moment, taking him all in. And he seemed rather familiar to him. It shouldn't be odd. He was a Ravenclaw after all and Livvy usually paid SPECIAL attention to Ravenclaws. And Hufflepuffs. Wait. NO. She paid no attention at all!

Smiling, she nodded her head in reply. "Yes I am. Olivia Zhang. But you can call me Livvy. Tiberius... that's a nice name."

The door to Gabriella's office opened, and the Healer poked her head out into the hallway. Of course she was surprised to see not one, but two, Ravenclaws waiting to come inside. "Well hello there," she said, speaking to the newcomer. "I'll be with you in just a moment, Miss Zhang. It's nice to see you again." Her eyes flickered towards the boy, and she motioned for him to come inside. "Welcome to my happy home away from home," she joked. Although, now that she thought of it, Hogwarts was now her actual, true home. She did live here, after all.

"Livvy it is. You can... call me Tibi, if it's easier." He smiled shyly. He was used to most people thinking his name was too long and wanting to immediately know his nickname.

His thoughts were interrupted by the opening door.

Tiberius gave Livvy a little half wave as he stood and went to follow Healer Ashford. "Thanks," he said softly, anxious to get inside and tell her what had happened.

The door to the Healer's office opened, and Gabriella stepped outside. "Miss Zhang? Are you ready?" she asked, nodding in the direction of her office.

There was indeed an extra visitor standing around just outside her office door. Actually, the little boy, who couldn't be older than a first year, appeared to be walking away. "Well hello there," she called out to him. Her eyes flickered towards the half-grown flower in his hand, and she smiled. "What a pretty flower you have there. You know, with just the right amount of water and sunlight, it'll be able to grow in no time." It hadn't occurred to her just yet that the flower might be a gift to her.

Sniff. Sniff.

As luck would have it though, someone called out to him just as he was two steps away from the door. Turning around, he looked up to the gaze of the assumed Healer, as he quickly tried to hide the half-flower behind his back. "Uh... Hi..." Aaron greeted back, cheeks flushing pink, as she seemed to have caught notice of the flower. Pulling it back around to the front, he stared at it for a good moment, before making an amused grin. "This? Oh... I ... Just practicing Transfiguration." Should he tell her it was supposed to be for her? He wanted to, but honestly, he felt terrible that it wasn't as PRETTY as he intended. Yet she said . . . with just the right amount of water and sunlight . . . implying she knew some about plants, right?

"I'm... Not very good," he admitted, shaking his head. Of course he was still young, but he guessed, he expected to be better from the start.

Gabriella stared at the small half-flower a second longer before meeting the boy's gaze once again. Transfiguration, hmm? Putting two and two together, Gabriella figured that the young boy had just been taught Orchideous and hadn't exactly gotten the spell down pat yet.

She waved her hand so as to say 'that doesn't matter at all' when he admitted to not being very good. "Nonsense, you're doing wonderfully. It's perfectly normal to not exceed our own expectations at first. I should know---I'm my worst critic," she admitted.

"Besides, not very many people can even produce that," she said, pointing towards the half-flower. "At least you have a good starting point. Like I said, with the right amount of water and sunlight, that could become a much bigger flower."

Satine came into the Healer's waiting area with a big bag of goodies wrapped up in a basket. While looking through event planning magazines earlier in the courtyard, she had a crazy idea that she wanted to ask the Healer's opinion on. Plus, she hadn't met the new Healer yet and since Satine hardly got sick, she felt like this was a good way to meet the new Healer.

She moved the big basket under her left arm and timidly knocked on the door. She hoped the Healer liked her idea. As she waited, she took a seat in a chair and placed the basket in her lap.

" Healer Ashoford, you told me to come back in a week" Rex told her. " I think I am a dogat times" he said to the healer. " Sometmes I know who I am and who my girlfriend or friends are, too but then again I also lose my memory" theboy explained to the healer.

" Do I know you? the boy asked her. Rex's amnesia comes back here and there. " You look familiar" Rex told the girl. Rex slipped off the couch, hit the young girls arm accidentally. as he is clumsy in front of pretty girls. "Sorry, I am clumsy in front of cute girls" the young boy told the very pretty girl.

OOC: Eek! My mess-up, but I shouldn't have Gabriella cloned inside and outside the office. It sort of blurs the whole "she's inside the office, but I'm waiting on her out here" lines. I'm going to declone her out here to avoid confusion.

Hearing more voices just outside her office, Gabriella excused herself for a moment and opened her office door. Outside, she saw the little boy who'd conjured the half-flower, a Ravenclaw girl with an interesting looking basket, and the Trigwell boy who'd hopefully come back for his second dose of potion.

Glancing first towards the boy with the half-flower, she said, "If you'd like, we can talk about ways to help that flower grow," she said. "I'm with Miss Zhang at the moment, but as soon as I'm through, I'll be glad to chat with you about it." Her eyes flickered towards the Ravenclaw girl and the Trigwell boy. "The same goes for you two, as well. Only, not about his flower, of course." She laughed lightly then added, "As soon as I'm done chatting with Miss Zhang, I'll be right back out." With a little smile and a short wave, she turned and headed back into her office. She'd be back out in no time to let the remainder of the students in.

Satine glanced up as the healer came out to greet all of the students and shook her head with a smile on her face to let the Healer know she understood and wouldn't be leaving any time soon.

Satine glanced from the Healer as she closed the door to a boy who had talked to her right before the Healer popped her head out. She smiled and tried to search her brain for this boy's name, but she couldn't remember it. With a smile and a slight blush on her cheeks from his nice comments, she said, "Ummmm...I'm sorry I don't think I've met you....yet atleast..." she put her hand out while trying to balance the basket on her lap..."Howzit! I'm Satine, third year Ravie." she said the last with tons of pride...she loved being a Ravie and was def one of the most proud of them all. "And you are?"

"Well, I think I am Rex Trigwell, Gryffindor" he told Satine. " You see I had been hit by the Whmomping Willow and I had and have amnesia, who am I?" the boy asked the girl. " Do you have flowers in the basket, Satine?" Rex asked her." I am here for my second dose of medicine to help me" Rex said to Satine. "Why am I here?" the boy asked the healer except " I am a dog because I am named after one." the boy slightly blurted out.

Phial of potion in hand, Gabriella poked her head outside the office door and glanced towards the Ravenclaw girl and the Trigwell boy. "Mr. Trigwell, your potion," she said, holding up the second dose of the potion she'd been giving him in order to treat his amnesia. "With this dose, your memories should start returning a little more often now. You should notice a big difference within a week or two." She uncorked the phial and passed it to Rex. "Drink up now. You'll feel much better soon," she added. "Oh, and I do appreciate you...and your friends...remembering this appointment."

While she waited for Rex to take the dose, she glanced towards the Ravenclaw girl who'd been waiting outside for quite some time. "Please come in. Miss Zhang and I are just chatting, and we'd love for you to join us," she said. She nodded for the Ravenclaw girl to enter the office.

"Now Mr. Trigwell, as soon as you've drunk that, you may go. Just remember to return in one week for your third and final dose," she reminded him.
