Oh no. It was even creepier and darker in here then she thought. At least they wouldn't be noticed and Kay and company would have a hard time finding them. She could deal with the dark, especially when he had her wand! She wouldn't light it though, she didn't want to get caught.

And back to Lawsonator. 'She must cook.' didn't all women know how to cook? 'Unless they just go to the house elves.' But what about when they are home? Gahhh! They live together, gross. She did not want to talk about this anymore. 'Soo,' she started, since silence and darkness did not mix well, 'what did you want to talk about?'

Wow, this alley was...really weird. It reminded her of, well her. Or how she felt inside at the moment, so she fit right in. Even though she felt as one with the creepy alley, her mind was somewhere else. Specifically to what Rex had yelled out in the Three Broomsticks. She definitely did not miss what he said about Josh, and what he said, did not make him any closer to her good side than a spider would have been. A Gryffindor traitor like Peter Pettigrew? Pettigrew was a wimp who couldn't stand up for himself. How he got into Gryffindor was beyond her...

Nodding at whatever Destiny said, she came back to the real world when her friend asked a question. What did she want to talk about? How to make Rex eat his own words, that's what..."So, Marcus is the new Muggle Studies professor. We should give him a 'Congratz on your new job' gift."

Way to go..Way to pick an alley to talk in. At least there was no one in there with them, unless they were hiding in the shadows, which would be really freaky..

Destiny started looking for somewhere to sit, since they would probably be here a while. If they were still going to talk about Lawson..they could be here for days! Deciding there was noting she wanted to sit on, she leaned against a wall that seemed clean enough. Who cares if she got dirty? They were in a dark alley, no one could see them.

Ahh yes, they were talking about Marcus heehee, that name will always make her laugh. 'You mean like bake a cake or something?' Of all the Professors to give a girt she picks the Lawsonator. Unless Evelyn meant another type of gift, which was the more logical explanation. 'Or do you mean like mooncalf dung?' She was not staying up until midnight to collect that again.

And this place was diiiirty! But at the moment she didn't care. Watching Destiny lean against the wall, she did the same to the opposite one across from her friend, before deciding she didn't care how dirty she got, and slid down so she was sitting on the filthy ground. Rubbing her face, she looked towards the bright opening to the main street of Hogsmeade before leaning her head against the wall and looking towards her Slytherin friend.

"A cake? Really." she said, slightly confused. There was no way she was going to be baking a cake for Lawsguini unless it had something else in it that would amuse her... Plus the only person she would bake for was Lupa, and they already did that. "Mooncalf dung is good. Maybe we could convince Iliana to give us some?" Yea, like that would ever happen.

"No, I was thinking more of something on the...muggle side." A muggle gift for the new Muggle Studies Professor. It made sense! "Umm...do you have anything in mind for that?" Because she had no clue how all that muggle stuff was used, or what they were called. The only thing she really knew of was the muggle box that APPARENTLY didn't turn people into muggles...but she was still skeptical about it.

It. Was. Cold.

Who would've thought a dark alley would be this cold? Definitely not Destiny.

Of course Evelyn didn't want to bake again. But she was on her way to become a superb baker too. Shrugging her shoulders, Destiny sat on the ground as well. If it wasn't so creepy and cold, she might have been comfortable.

At the mention of Iliana, Destiny laughed. 'I don't think she would give us mooncalf dung. She would ask why we need it, and when we tell her it's to give to Marcus she would be mad!' Unless they tell her it's for Bunz. That is believable.

'Muggle things are good.' Buuut, where would they find muggle objects in the school? Unless..'My grandmum has loads of muggle things in her basement.' The only muggle thing she knew about was the Muggle box. 'I might be able to get her to owl me some.' But then Destiny thought about that idea. 'On second thought, I won't ask my grandmum.' she would wind up owling her cats or something, and Destiny didn't think Lawson would like a cat.

Whaaa? "Why in the world would we tell her it was for Marcus?" Pfft. That would be the stupidest thing to do in the world. Actually, it was like a Gryffindork thing to do. Or a Huffie idea... "That's like saying, 'Oh, and this mooncalf dung is definitely not for Professor Lawson if you were wondering.' Just point the arrows to the detention room if that happened." Okay, so a slight overreaction, but Evelyn was still feeling a little skittish and paranoid at the moment. Practically going to have a mental breakdown at any minute.

And now she won't ask her grandmum. But whyyyyy? "I guess I could ask Josh if he has anything at home we could give him." she suggested, wrapping her arms around her legs and placing her head on her knees. "He seems like he would join us in this gift giving anyway. I heard Lawson gave him a detention for accidentally breaking Jake's nose." Evelyn definitely would have been angry if she got a detention.

"Are you sure there isn't anyone else you could owl? And maybe we could cover whatever it is we give him in mooncalf dung. At least keep the idea of it around.." Because that would be really funny to see his reaction.

Mmmhmmm. Evelyn was..overreacting. 'Seriously. Relax.' Evelyn needed to pour butterbeer on someone's head. It was quite calming. So the mooncalf dung idea was not looking so good at the moment. 'Bunz might have some. I actually think she would enjoy giving it to us.' Did mooncalf dung go bad? She might have some left over from their last Herbology class. She shuddered at the word detention. She did not want that. Noo way. She would be in so much trouble if her parents found out about that. 'I don't want detention.'

'But if Josh gets caught..' He wouldn't let them hear the end of that. He would be angry! and take it out all on Destiny, because he couldn't possibly get mad at Rose Evelyn. Ohh, but he already had detention, what would be one more? 'Ehh, we could ask him.' she shrugged. Detention would give them their alone time. Blahhhh

Someone else, someone else. Destiny smacked her forehead. The first smack of the new term, 'Of course!' Why, he should have been the first person she thought of, 'My brother! I can ask him.' He was a trouble maker back in his school days. 'He'll definitely owl me stuff. I could get him to shrink whatever it is and when we get it, we can make it normal size.' How hard would that spell be? 'Eww. I'm not rubbing mooncalf dung on anything. That is gross.' But funny.

That's right. She forgot about Bunz! Maybe she had some leftover from that one homework assignment that Iliana gave them. Evil minded Iliana. Who would have thought she could be so...Slytherin. ()

"I'm sure Josh could take it if he got caught." she laughed, lifting her head back up and looking over to Destiny. Maybe she would ask him. She hadn't seen him in awhile and a visit was long overdue. There has been too much going on with classes, homework, especially their problem with Rex and Kay...She wondered how Josh was fairing in the Gryffindor tower, what with Rex being in the same house as he.

Brother? Either Evelyn forgot that Destiny had a brother, or she never said. More than likely, she forgot, like a lot of other things she'd been forgetting nowadays. "Okay, definitely owl him them. Preferably when we get back to the school so we don't forget or anything." Because if they forgot, than surely a bunch of fun would be swimming right down the drain... "Who says we have to touch it? Just dump it on whatever the item is."

Hmm, Josh was extremely loud. And loudness would get them caught. 'You ask him, but please tell him to be quiet about it.' Not that Josh would rat them out or anything, he better not. 'I mean when we actually do this.' Yeah, just keep him quiet. He sometimes gave her a headache.

'Riiight.' she laughed. She couldn't owl him now, since she didn't have an owl anymore. Poor Travis, where did he get too? 'I have to use a school owl anyway. Mine flew away.' Funny, but not funny at the same time. Travis couldn't bear to listen to that blasted Yeti story from her grandmother, so he just flew away. Destiny wished she went with him. 'I'll just tell him I need them for Muggle Studies class.' It was sort of true. She did need them for Muggle Studies. She was just using them on the Professor.

Gross, just gross. 'Where do you come up with these things?' Did she really hate the Lawsonator that much where she is willing to dump mooncalf dung on these things? 'You can do the dumping. I'll just be the spectator.' Hopefully they never find this mooncalf dung.

Keep him quiet? He wouldn't yell out about what they were doing, right? Especially if he was in on it, he wouldn't want to get caught either. "Alright, alright." she said, waving her hand as if she was done with the topic. Though, she could never be done with the topic of Josh. teehee.

"Oh, that's right. Something about your grandmum right?" she snickered, glancing over at Destiny for a moment. Was her grandmum really that bad that even Destiny's owl flew away? Now, she definitely had to see this for herself one of these days. "Good cover up story too. It's not like he could really question that one." Which was a goooood thing.

"I don't really know. You start to think differently when you aren't able to get much sleep." she said honestly, thinking it over. Well since neither of them wanted to touch the mooncalf dung, pretty much the technical thing to do was to pour it over! Then they wouldn't have to really touch it. Just the jar. "I doubt we'll be getting any of it though. Even if Bunz had extra, why would she give it to us?"

Something!? It was a lot more than something. 'Yeah, her.' If Destiny had to spend one more summer with that batty old lady, she would check herself into St. Mungo's. No one should have to endure the torturous ways of that lady. It was worse than any detention she could ever get. 'Maybe I'll just let him pick what he will send us, since I have no idea of any other muggle things.' She did know about soccer now, but the Lawsonator would probably enjoy the soccerball.

Why hasn't Evelyn been sleeping? There was so much Destiny didn't know about Evelyn, and she figured if she wanted Destiny to know she would tell her. 'The idea stinks..like mooncalf dung.' she laughed. It was a bad joke, but Destiny was never one to tell funny jokes. 'It's not like she likes me,' she needed to add Bunz to the list of people that did not like her. The list was rapidly growing and Destiny found it slightly amusing, 'after I tried to hug her last term.' She would definitely try again this year. She will get that hug eventually.

"Just as long as he doesn't send a muggle box." she smirked, standing up and brushing whatever disgusting dirt off that stuck to her jeans. Now she had to go wash her hands. Ew. Hmm, so what kinds of muggle things would her brother send anyway? Not that she was really thinking about it or was interested, she was just...curious. What was that one thing she'd seen muggles ride? It was like a broom, but with wheels. Strange contraption it was...

"Yea, yea." she laughed, shaking her hand and sticking her dirty hands in the pockets of her jacket. "Okay, so the mooncalf dung idea is trash. Though I still like the muggle objects idea. Would he be irritated if we kept giving him stuff?" And where did he sleep?! She still didn't know that seeing as he was now married and she hadn't been down to visit Iliana to find out yet. Though her mind swerved to a new thought at the mention of Bunz and hugs. "You should keep count as to how many hugs you really achieve. I bet you...one galleon that you won't be able to get one little hug this year."

Laughing, she walked towards the lit street of Hogsmeade, taking her hands out of her pocket and rubbing them together, hoping to get most, or all, of the dirt off. Ugh. There was no way she was going back to The Three Broomsticks, and she didn't know if any of the other places had bathrooms. She was definitely not taking a single step into Madame Puddifoots either. "Do you know where the Hog's Head is?"

'Okay,' Destiny laughed, 'I'll tell him no muggle box. But if it really does turn you into a muggle, and Lawson watches it, he would be perfect for his new job!' He would probably be upset that he was now a muggle but that is what he gets for teaching that subject. Another reason to laugh at the man.

'Maybe. It all depends on what kind of objects we send him.' But he wouldn't get mad enough to expel them, would he? It's only for fun. 'Wait, we're not going to deliver them to him are we? Or are we just dropping them off and running?' It would be kinda funny to actually see his expression when he gets these objects. Too much to plan. Good thing it was still early in the term. A bet huh? 'You're on. I bet you she won't hug you either.' Not that Evelyn wanted to hug her. Ehh, Destiny would have to owl her brother and tell him to give her a galleon.

Standing up, Destiny followed behind Evelyn. Good thing they were leaving this alley, she was sure she saw a rat in there. 'No idea where it is.' But there were signs and they would be able to find it. And Destiny could finally get that butterbeer she wanted.

She was all for the idea of turning Lawson into a muggle, but she was afraid if she got close to that box, that she would turn into a muggle. And she very well can't go around torturing Rex and Kay like that now could she. Besides, she would fail as a muggle. She didn't know anything about them, except the...few...things...that she did. Which wasn't much.

Wait what? Seriously?! "Do you think...that we are going to deliver these things to him personally?! Face to face? That's like, another straight trip to the detention room." Laughing in disbelief, Evelyn leaned against the wall, looking out to the crowded and sunny street. "Drop and run is our best bet for not getting caught. We just have to figure out where he sleeps at night. And possibly put a few charms on ourselves so no one would recognize us." And maybe where a lot of pink. She never wore pink so they wouldn't recognize her, right?

Was...that another bet? Raising her eyebrows in surprise, she turned to look at Destiny, deciding the situation in her mind. 'She bet I couldn't get Bunbury to hug me. Pfft. Like the professor was going to hug her either.' Smirking, she held out her hand for a shake, sealing the bet, though the idea of someone coming close to her personal space was a bit daunting. "You're on. First one who gets Bunbury to hug them wins, and the loser has to give them a galleon...and has to be their slave for...two days. Whatever they want. Anytime they want it."

Well...poo. Now they had to go searching for this place. And it was suddenly cooooold outside! How did that happen? Or maybe it was just the alley they were in. Wrapping her jacket tighter around herself, she moved out into the street, glancing behind to see if Destiny was following her. Now...to just find the Hogs Head.

'I didn't know!' Destiny had no idea how Evelyn's mind was working. She did think of pouring dung all over muggle things, who's to say she didn't want to get caught. 'Drop and run, got it.' Ohhh nooo, 'You know I can't run. I'm fat.' she tried to say it with a serious face, but she failed. Kay was jealous that's all. Jealous of her pie eating skillz and her epicness. Yep. Why did they need to know where he slept? Were they doing it in the middle of the night? Destiny should've brought a notebook to write all this down. 'I saw something on the muggle box once,' didn't Evelyn tell her not to watch that anymore? 'where these people put on disguise outfits. So they wouldn't be seen in the woods.' But they weren't going into the woods, were they?

A slave!? 'What happens if she doesn't hug any or us?' she asked as she shook Evelyn's hand. Destiny was so going to win this..probably not, but it pays to be optimistic.

She followed Evelyn into the street, she still had to watch her back..

Thalia sat in a place with no snow with tears running down her cheeks and soft sobs escaping. This was just so unfair. Jude didn't realize how much she wanted him to come and was bailing just because stupid Parker was going to be there. Her spirits had been high in the opes for having a better Christmas then most years but were now torn. Maybe she should just go back to Hogwarts now. Especially if he didn't want to see her face again for the day.

Jude heard sobs from a few feet away. He looked down the alley and saw Thalia sitting in the snow crying. His heart sank and he went towards her with his hands in his pockets. "Thal..." he said quietly to her, a serious expression. Clenching jaw and sighing Jude stepped closer to the young girl.

Thalia looked up and saw Jude standing there. "Yes?" she asked him, her head leaning against the wall. She didn't know what to say. These teenage hormones were hurting her more than she thought. They acted up when least expected. She sighed and her head dropped in her hands.

'Well at least she doesn't seem to want to hex me to an oblivion.' he thought kneeling down in front of the young girl. "Thal..." Jude repeated as she sighed once more. "I-i'm so sorry. I really didn't mean to hurt your feelings in the Broomsticks." he began trying to keep his emotions under control still.

"But you've got to understand how I feel when I hear that Parker Yorke is going to be at your house for Christmas." Jude said looking pleadingly at the red-eyed girl. "I-i mean...this is already a hard holiday for me as it is." he looked away, biting his bottom lip. "I don't want to hurt your feelings but I'd rather not cause a commotion in your home either, especially in front of your entire family."

Thalia listened to him and finally said, "Jude I'm not saying you have to come to my house for Christmas. I'm not pleading or begging or whatever. But I really thought this year was going to be different," she added, and sighed looking away from him. "So many plans have been made already." There was the presents she had ordered off her muggle laptop and owling her parents and what not.

"Parker knows you're coming too. I told him personally. He didn't back down though. I mean if he's willing to risk it can't you give in?" she asked. Her eyes turned to meet his. "My dad's an auror may you not forget. He could break up a fight better than anyone. Commotion rages through my house on a daily bases," Thalia gave in. Her brother's fought over stupid things more than anyone she knew.

Jude did feel guilty after backing out because he knew how important it was to Thalia, but he did not want to blow up in front of his girlfriend's family and friends. What if someone got hurt? And it would make a bad impression.

"I'm not saying I'm going to get into a fight with Parker, I'm saying I may not be able to control myself emotionally, and I don't know what may happen if that occurs." he tried to explain to the young girl. As a child, the first time he had realized that he could do magic, he was mad at his father for some reason or another, and had released a rather strong Stunning spell, that thankfully didn't hit anyone, but had broken a glass vase on top of the piano.

"Parker may be able to control himself, and that's just great and all, but I'm looking out for me. And what my first impression to your family would be. And if that consists of me breaking something or hurting someone by accident--well A. your family will never approve of me, and B. I'll never be able to forgive myself." the young Australian explained further.

"And if you can't handle that..well then I'll just walk away." It wasn't a warning, and it wasn't definite but if Thalia chose to accept it, he understood. Jude stood up straight, his hands in his pockets, his hand touching the box that contained a gift he had planned to give the young girl sitting on the ground before him.

Thalia knew he was trying to be nice and trying to explain himself but she still wanted to protest. Instead she went with a different idea that had occurred.

"Yeah I know. I understand that's important and all," she replied. Her parent's may care slightly more than she gave them credit for. They would worry he would hurt her or something possibly. She didn't want that. At the same time they may like the fact he's protective of her.

"If you don't want to come then I'll agree to that. I do have another idea that we could still see each other for Christmas." She didn't feel like crying anymore after thinking about this instead. Thal smiled a little at him. "We could meet at my aunt's apartment in London for Christmas. I'm sure she wouldn't mind. That way none of my cousins, parent's, or Parker would be there and we would both enjoy it more," she explained. This was plan B now. She didn't know what he would think of it, just hoped he would agree with plan B instead.

"Of course Briony would want to be there. Just to make sure two teenagers didn't get up to anything in her apartment. It's not like we would," she smirked and rolled her eyes. Thalia was sure her aunt would be okay with this but should owl her just in case tonight. "What do you say?" She saw her breath out in the cold air. This was her one Christmas wish.

Jude grinned widely. "That's a great idea Thal!" he said reaching down and pulling the young girl up to a standing position. Jude hugged her tightly and whispered, "I'm glad we could find a way to figure this all out."

"I'm glad we've figured out a plan too," she smiled and hugged him back. "Now my crying was all nonsense I suppose. But I do feel an incredible amount better," she added. That way both of them got something they wanted in this situation.

"Are we going to go back and look in more shops now? Or do you want to do something else?" she asked him.
