Iris walked into the common room after the very short DADA lesson and headed straight for the study tables - best place to do the pile of homework that had just *poofed* in her bag all of a sudden.

Homework tended to do that. You have three pieces and it seems like nothing, then you get one more and its too much.

She went to one of the corner tables and sat down, dumping her school bag on the table. She took out a quill, ink, parchments and the little diary that she'd been recording the homeworks in. Oh yes, she was being really organised this year.

Iris decided to start with the DADA homework, seeing as it's the shortest. She looked at the questions properly and almost snorted at the second one:

"Under what circumstances could you survive a well aimed killing curse?"

In all honesty, the only answer she could think of is "If you happened to be Harry Potter." But she highly doubted the scary professor would have enough humour in him to hind it amusing.

Iris pulled a piece of parchment closer and started writing ...

Marie walked over to the study tables ready to get some homework done. Seeing that Evan wasn't there yet she went to a table in the back. Looking at her book bag laying there on the table she thinks about the assignments she still has to do.

Taking out her books, she tries to decide which assignment to start with. Looking at the questions for DADA she decides to leave that one for last. She decides to start with Muggle Studies. How hard can that one be?

Looking over the questions she wonders where Evan is. He was suppose to meet her here to help her with this assignment. Pulling out some parchment and a quill she starts to draw a picture of a football. Yeah, this wasn't getting her homework done but it was a way to pass the time.

Passing from the common room without glancing who was there, Evan made his way directly to the studying tables. He sooo shouldn't have left all of his homework to the last minute. Well, it wasn't the last minute, but you got the idea. There was so much! And he honestly freaked out. It looked like he'd have to spend the whole day there.

...or maybe he shouldn't.

Just as he was a few metres away from the tables, he saw Beaumont first. Merlin no. There was no way he'd study with her. Like, he just... didn't want to! Glancing a few centimetres next, he also saw Marie. He had promised her, hadn't he. But Beaumont thought they were dating, or some kind. Well, then it'd be great opportunity to show that he too may have friends. Gathering all of his courage, patience, well-being and politeness, he sat between them. Offering a very small smile to Beaumont just not to give her a chance of 'he's mean again', he looked at Marie and chuckled at her drawing. "Nice one!" he said, holding it up to light. Oh yes she was making a faithful student of football.

Marie looked up from her drawing when someone took it. "Oh, hey Evan, thanks" she said with a huge smile on her face. "I was going to do Muggle Studies homework but well, I wasn't motivated to do it. I thought maybe if I drew a football it would get me in the mood for the assignment." Hopefully Evan was still going to help her with this assignment because she could really use the help.

Peeking once again at Beaumont who, surprisingly, managed to keep silent on his show up, Evan returned Marie's huge smile. With his smile getting even bigger, he pulled out a football magazine, which read Football for Beginners. It was rather thin, just 50 pages. "This has all the FIFA rules." he said. "Even though I've memorised it, it's thin so I carry it. Just to check a rule afterwards a match." It also contained stuff about World Cups, basically every main information. "Wanna look at it?"

"Thanks, this will help a lot" Marie said as she took the magazine Evan offered her. Thumbing through it she found all kinds of information to do her homework. She wouldn't even need any other books, she would be able to find everything she needed in this one. Grabbing her quill she started doing the assignment. Once she got started it didn't take long to get it finished. Handing it to Evan she said "What do you think, will it pass?" She knew that he would be able to tell her if it was good or not, he knew a lot about the game. Actually, she thought he probably knew everythig there was to know about it.

Leaning over a little bit to see through her hand, Evan read every answer Marie wrote. When she finished quickly, he smiled. "I'm sure you'll get the highest mark." Nodnod. Taking out his divination HW, he looked at it hopelessly. "I suck at interpreting." he said. Not that he forced her to help him. It was just to warm himself to a long thinking and analysing. Perfect way to waste a break day.

"Really, you think it is that good?" she said with a huge smile. She didn't really see herself getting the highest mark but she did hope she got a high one. She really wanted to help Slytherin win the house cup this year.
"You want me to help you with divination? I have mine done already." Yes, she would help him. If it wasn't for his magazine she would still be sitting there drawing footballs instead of writing about them. Pulling out her Divination book she opened it to the charts they had been discussing in class.

Evan nodded. He expected to get the highest mark too. If he did this divination too, he'd be the most relaxed person on the world.

"That'd be perfect." he said gratefully. He was too absent at that class to remember even the time of the lesson. Taking a look at the book, he seemed to remember stuff... like they discussed zodiacs. But no more. He stared absently again at the book. This subject didn't interest him the least.

"Okay, first we have to determine your zodiac or sun sign, then we will determine your moon sign. You wil use this chart to figure out your sun sign and this one to figure out your moon sign". Looking at him she realized she didn't even know when his birthday was, which she would need to know to buy him a gift figure out his signs. "When is your birthday?"
