Arya walked into the owlery and stoped. She stared wide eyed at all the owls in the room that were either sleeping or just returning from delivering mail. Perseus poked his head put of Arya's hood to see what the noise was before going back to sleep. The smell didn't bother her since she worked with horses. She petted a few owls, and gave a few treats before going to a snowy owl belonging to the school. "Hey cutie...wanna do me a favor?"As she sweet talked the owl she used one hand to feed him treats and the other to stroke his feathers. Reaching into her pocket she pulled out three letters tied together, one for her parents and each of her siblings. "Can you take this to my family please?" The owl gave a small hoot before gently taking the letters into his claws and flying out the window. Arya walked over to the window and watched the owl fly away with her letters before leaving the owlery.

Allison walked in with a bleeding ankle and a naughty owl in her hands. Placing him on the edge she looked into his eyes, "You get lost then I'm gonna get you angry, because imma be angry. You lose the note, I'm not gonna let you take anymore letters," at this Robin hooted in disdain.

"Hey! You don't get to give me attitude. I'm bleeding because of you!" Taking out her letter she showed it Robin, "You are going to take this on your beak and find meh mum. I'm pretty sure she is at Diagon Alley, if not you have a long way to fly little mister. Eat well and don't get caught nor owl-napped. Healthy food Robin, you still got tons to grow!" At his offened look she laughed, "Ok...not in height. But you know what I mean."

Re-reading her letter Allison sighed.



Taking out her wand she pointed at her letter like her mom had taught her and the letter crunched itself in a paper ball prepared for the trash can. Allison's eyes widened and she cursed under her breath. Trying again the parchment refolded itself into a nice triangle that she caught mid air.

"Okay. Here." Before Robin could grab the letter she left it out of his reach and took out an owl treat, "Open wide!"

Robin immediately ate the treat, began to fly, and took the letter out of Allison's hand. Looked at her one moment and wobbled out of the Owlery tower.

With a worried look Allison waved him goodbye and walked out of the owlery.

Lucy walked up to the Owlery, smiling to herself when she reached it. She immediately recognized Alison as she was the one of the few snowy white owls there.

"Hey Alison, come down here!" She yelled up to her owl, who hooted and flew down to her.
"How have you been, sweetums? I'm sorry I can't some see you as often, but I promise I'll come at least once a week, okay?" She told Alison, stroking her feathers. "But right now, I've got a job for you. I'm going to write a letter to Mummy and Daddy and you have to deliver it to them, kay?" She askedthe owl, and it hooted again. "Good girl!" She said happily as she set her down, and took out some parchment, a quill, and ink. Writing quickly, Lucy finished her letter.



There, that was nice. Lucy rolled it up and tied it. And then she gave it to Alison, who grabbed onto it. "Safe journey, then!" She said as the owl rose gracefully and soared into the sky. Lucy watched it for a while before leaving the Owlery.

Evie walked into the owlery smiling she'd enjoyed the walk over here. She looked around the hundreds of owls to find her own. "Hey Sail!" Evie said and the owl flew down onto her arm "good boy" Evie praised and gave him a few pellets. "i need you to take this home to my parents, can you do that?" Evie asked the owl. Sail hooted and took the letter in his beak. Evie gave him a stroke on the head before he flew off. She watched him get smaller and smaller until he was gone, though she knew he would she couldn't help but hope that he'd be ok.

Nella walked in. she told her self: oh god, every where i go i find people. but then that's the way it should be Nella, she told her self, then she got to one of the school's owls. and tied her letter. then she whispered in the owl's ear: hey i want you to get this to my family

she wrote to her family the following:

Miranda huffed her way up all those thousands and thousands and quadruplemillion stairs to the Owlery. She was in some serious need for excersise BUT, lets not mention that, she was going to send a letter to her Captain. Mostly just to see how she was, but also to maybe ask her how the heck her little brother looked like. It was about time, Miranda thought, that she'd met him. Hrmph! Hehe.

Wesley needed to send a letter. To Mariel. So, after writing it, the Hufflepuff had managed to make her way to the Owlery. Just because she walked into a wall during last term's Herbology final did not mean she had no sense of direction. It was dark. And...there weren't any portraits to help guide her. Plus, it helped that Wesley'd had an Astronomy lesson up here.

However, it didn't really help, since Wesley had forgotten about the class.

Because she was focused on letter delivering.

And, therefore, she'd forgotten about how high up the Owlery actually was. One would have thought all those stairs might've been a huge clue. However, the full impact of the tower in position to the ground did not hit her until she was standing in the tower, and, upon taking in her surroundings, happened to look out the window.

"WAHHHH!" The 3rd year scuttled to the middle of the room. Experience had taught her, when frightened, it was better to move forward. You never knew when there was a drop off behind you.

Jenny walked in. Whispering to the brown speckled owl, she said, "I want you to send this to my parents." She read her letter over.

Esmerelda walked into the owlery, letter in hand. She looked around the owlery for a familiar white owl. She saw the owl swoop in through the window and, seeing her owner, land on her shoulder, a letter tied to her leg; Nunually's mother's reply. "Thank you Selena," she said to the owl softly, untieing the letter from the owl's leg. Selena made to fly away until Esmerelda said quickly, "Hold on, I've got another letter for you to deliver, if that's fine with you." she added, seeing Selena's stern look. Selena got off of Esmerelda's shoulder and flew over to the nearest roost, her tail feathers facing her owner. "Okay, I understand," said Esmerelda, trying to use reverse psychology, "You're tired. If you want I could have a school owl send this letter." Selena stayed where she was and hooted softly like as if saying, Fine by me.. Esmerelda laughed, Dang I thought that would work for sure, she thought, Oh well. Esmerelda walked over to a school owl and was beginning to tie the letter to a barn owl when Selena flew over to the roost, hooting indignantly, How could you use a school owl instead of your own?! Esmerelda rolled her eyes, "You're right, what was I thinking?" she said to the owl, giggling. The barn owl flew off the roost toward another one, clearly annoyed, and went back to sleep. Selena stuck out her leg for Esmerelda to tie the letter. Esmerelda opened the letter to reread it in case she had to add anything to it

Esmerelda smiled, reading over the letter. Then she rolled up the letter and tied it to Selena's leg. She held up her arm for Selena, who hopped onto it, nibbling Esmerelda's ear affectionately. Esmerelda then carried Selena over to the window while stroking her. "Be careful," she said to the owl before the owl flew out the window and into the sky. She pocketed Nunually's letter and watched the white spech get smaller and smaller until it dissapeared completely.

Dalanie walked into the owlery to send a message to a friend. She knew it was important and no one else could see. Well, they could cuz the letter didn't say anything to important.

"Tiny, can you come down here!" she called to her tiny owl. She saw that Peck, her medium sized owl, came along too. "Peck, I don't need you right now. I will be sending a package to mum and dad soon so no need to worry."

She tied the note around Tiny's ankle and threw him a boost out the window. She watched him drop an inch and then fly off. He turned around and flew back. He hooted.

"Oh right. It's to Mina," and she watched him fly off again.

Nunually walked into the owlery her eyes wide with amazement. "Wow, so many how am I going to find frosted flake?" she asked and continued to look around it had been a while since she had seen these many owls, suddenly a memory she did not know she had came to her.


Nunually shook her head and the vision or flashback left her. Once it did her legs felt weak. Could that possibly be a memory of her parents? A memory of when she was born? But wasn't that impossible? If she remembered her science classes in the mugge world hadn't they said that things that occurred when they were born, they would not remember seeing as that certain part of the brain had not developed? So no memories would be possible to recall until the age of 8 months or so. Her knees felt week and she knew she had to stop thinking she didn't see frosted flake but she decided she would come back latter.

Isbella Evans, or known as Bella, walked into the Owerly. Her letter clutched in her hand, the neat writing filling the front. She had got bored when she wrote the letter, so had drawn loads of small pictures on the eveolope, as well as who is was addressed to:

'Luke and Emma'

Bella had taken a long time writing her letter, wanting it to be a freat read. SHe didnt know at first where to start, she had cursed herself for ruining many piece's of parchment, but after many long lunchtimes she had finished it. Finally! she had thought as she put it into the eveolope.

Glancing round once at all the other students, saying a small 'Hello' to them, she looked round the room for her dear owl, Trixie. She couldnt see her, frowning she tryed calling,
"Trixie!" She called at the Owl's, no reply, she tryed again. After several minutes she was forced to look for a free school owl. Annoyed at her own owl she walked towards one she thought was free, but just then Trixie herself flew through the window, carrying a mouse in her beak, which she dropped as she saw Bella.
"Trixie" She called happyly, strocking her head, "I have a letter for you, can you send to Luke and Aunt Emma?" She asked her. Smiling at her owl she tied her letter to Trixies feet. Walking to the window again, letting her fly loose.

She leant against the window, remembering what she had written, in her head:



Smiling to herself she turned to go.

Grinning foolishly Allison took two steps at a time up the Owlery tower. There had been homework, late nights, studying, reading, and very little time to make friends. This didn't change the fact the seasons were changing, and to her that was bliss. She couldn't even believe that October was already there.

Reaching the Owlery Allison cupped her mouth and whispered, "Rooooobin!"

Hooting groggily, for little Robin's nap had been interrupted, Robin flapped his wings in protest but flew down to her leather covered shoulder nonetheless. Glaring at her for what seemed like ages--something Allison chose to ignore, Robin began pecking at her ears lovingly; obviously like many people, Robin gave up where Allison's ignore-what-I-don't-like attitude was concerned.

"So here's the plan. I wrote mum a letter. I need you to deliver it to her. Very importante! Try to come back super fast!" Robin grabbed for the letter and Allison avoided Robin's beak, "Wait lemme double check. She hates writing mistakes. It's these darn quill's fault. They stopped spell-checking my stuff."



Allison winced at the several made-up words and gave a slight shrug. Not knowing whether to laugh or rewrite it, instead she took out her wand and pointed it at the letter, "Papilio!" A swarm of mid-night blue butterflies attached themselves to the letter and somehow remained still when placed in an envelope. She had wanted to roll up the parchment, but then the butterflies wouldn't have been a surprise.

Grinning to herself she gave the white elf baby owl a kiss on his beak and handed him the letter, "Of you go! Don't be long!"

Immediately the owl took flight and his sight flying away impacted Allison like nothing had in days. Robin was growing...

Dalanie walked into the owlery to get her owl and send a letter.

"Yo Peck, I know I didn't use you last time so get your tail down here!" she yelled. Tiny came to. "Tiny, I'm using Peck this time. Go take a nap, please." and Tiny flew off.



"Give it to Mina." she said and her owl flew off.

Making her way up to the owlery, Destiny must have stopped at least eight times to catch her breath. One would think there would be an easier way to get to the top, since it is a school for magic. Some magic steps wouldn't hurt. She would have to have a word with the headmaster..

Finally making it to the owlery, Destiny leaned against the wall to catch her breath one last time. She would need all the breath she could going into that smelly room. It would be easier if she had her own owl, but seeing as it flew away.. The owlery was still as it was last time she was here for the horrible Astronomy class last term. Poo skating, what was thet Professor thinking. He was weird. Don't the house elves ever clean up this place? By the looks of it, the answer would be no.

Now that she was in there she needed to find an owl. It had to be a fast one too. The faster the better. Scanning the room, Destiny noticed a tiny little owl that was hiding his face with his wing. Well, he was cuuuute! Who cared if he wasn't fast, that would be the one to deliver the letters. As she closed in on him, the little owl raised his wing even higher, he just didn't want to be seen. 'Why are you hiding?' Pffft, like the owl was going to answer. It didn't need to answer, because as soon as Destiny stepped in front of him, she knew why he was hiding. 'TRAVIS!' What was he doing here? He flew away and came back to Hogwarts!? 'You are a bad owl.' she pointed a finger at him. And now he was going to send these letters and he was going to like it.

It might have been a better idea to write the letter before coming up here. There was no way Destiny was going to sit on the floor to write. Pulling out parchment and a quill, she stood and started writing the first letter.



It was easier than she thought to tie the letter to the owls leg. She only got bit three times! 'Travis, give this letter to Patrick.' She picked up the little owl and took him to the window. 'You better come back this time! Or I'll feed you to Inspector Sly Moustache!' And with that, the little owl flew out the window at top speed. 'He was never that fast before.'

Jacklyn Caroline runs up the steps with her letter and finds her owl. "Hi Melvy, your going to take a letter to Rose OK. Here's a treat for you," I say to Melvy, my owl, and give him a treat.

Jenny needed to give her family these treats. Fudge!! She gave Sparkle the letter.

"Quick, take the fudge!" she said, and the owl took off.

Dalanie came back into the owlery for her third time this year. "Tiny!" she yelled and Tiny the owl came flying down, no Peck. Dalanie tied the small note to Tiny's ankle. "It's to mum and dad!" she exclaimed as she watched the owl fly off.

Allison walked in or more like dragged herself up the Owlery. She felt so tired and drowsy, however she had to prove to Arya that she really was well. This was no cold, this was merely a reaction to all the stress that being a Hogwarts student required--or so she kept telling herself. Finally reaching the top Allison's world tilted and she grabbed on to the wall, to keep herself from falling. Laughing awkwardly the eleven year old found a spot to sit on that wasn't filled with snow.

The stone floor was wet and cold, yet by this point that felt wonderful to Allison. Sitting down she gave a loud sigh and waited for Robin to come down. As if called the young white elf owl flew down from its cozy perch and landed on Allison's knee. Grinning at him she cooed him and sneezed.

"Immaz alrigh'. Just tired. Gimme o sec as I wite to meh mum," taking out a parchment, quill and ink Allison began to write.



Sealing the parchment Allison handed it to Robin and kissed his head. With concern the little owl hooted but parted towards his destination.

As Arya walked up the stairs to the owlery she could hear Allison's sneezes. Entering the owlery she looked around until she found the girl sitting on the floor. She smiled at Allison before searching for an owl. "Feeling better Allie?" a small smirk played on her face as she walked over to a sleeping black owl, giving him a few strokes to wake him.

As she watched little Robin fly off Allison completely missed Arya's entrance. Everyone can scream "WHAT?" now. Usually on her toes, Allison was clearly to distracted by the tilting floor and the buzzing of her ears to notice anything but the light cold winter breeze blowing into the owlery. When Arya spoke Allison jerked surprised by her friend's presence. She had been wondering where the young Hufflepuff had gone--thinking Arya had gone her own way, because she hadn't shown until Allison had sent Robin off.

"Oh. Awya! HAHAHA-"*cough cough cough* SNIFF. "Imma supah well. Sewiously. Nevah ben betah. Just did wha yo said to do. Sent me mom a letaw. Hope she doesn' fweak out."

Smirking she tied her three letters to the young owl and watched it fly off. Turning back to Allison she crossed her arms and shook her head at her friend. Did she really think that Arya would believe that lie. "Great, I bet she'll be proud that your on the reserve. But don't try to distract me..."Her smirk grew bigger as she steped closer to her best friend. "...Were going to the kitchen since your obviously not well, and were gonna get some soup and tea. Then you can go back to your tower to get some sleep!"She said the last part cheerfully as she intertwinded her arm with Allison's, giving her a look that dared her to disagree.

In the back of her head, Allison perfectly knew that Arya was right. However like all sick people she was too stubborn to admit to anything. Frowning she felt herself lifted from the floor and once again the world seemed to disappear from beneath her feet. Torn between fighting Arya over the obvious, that she was not sick, and trying to gain her balance, Allison opted for the latter. Mumbling of unfairness and the hopes of fainting when she reached the kitchens to scare Arya silly Allison followed her friend out of the owlery. Then again the only reason she didn't retort something outloud was because she knew that in her physical condition she could never outrun Arya.
