Chris walked across the long slopping lawns of the Hogwarts grounds until he came right up on the Care of Magical Creatures hut. He loved the Professor that lived inside it's walls. She was the newly named Gryffindor Head of House this term and he was extra excited for this little meeting. He climbed the few stairs that lead to the door. He raised a fist and knocked happily on Professor Morgan's-wait, Lawson's, door. It was going to be hard to remember that new name!

'Ah-ha! My first visitor!' Iliana thought as she hurried towards her office door. Swinging it open, she was not surprised to see Chris standing on the other side. "Chris, come on in." Smiling, she stood back and waved him inside. "It's great to see you. How was your summer?"

Finally giving up looking for Miles, Fia made her way down to Professor Lawson's hut. She wanted to make her rounds to the professors, old and new and her first stop was to congratulate the Magical Creature's professor on her new marriage. She walked up to the door, still a bit tired from searching for her HYPER boyfriend and knocked.

Having come straight from Masterson's hut, Jake kept his hands in his pockets, staring at the ground as he walked straight down to Lawson the Second's hut. The door was already open, presumably to let the kids in who were standing there, so instead of knocking, Jake approached the doorway and stood back, waiting.

Seeing two more students approaching, Iliana hung her head outside the door and said, "Hey Fia! Hey Jake! Come on in." Goodness she loved some company!

Thaaaat was the ticket. Jake gave a little smile to the woman and immediately stepped right inside the hut, feeling much more at home in here than anywhere else in the castle. Immediately the boy beelined for the couch thing, flopping down onto it lazily and making himself at home. Soooo tired.

"P'fess'r," he mumbled. looking over the back of the sofa and looking up at the woman. "You oka-... okay?"

Fia noticed Jake walking up to the hut and smiled. She was about to speak to the Hufflepuff but was greeted by the Magical Creatures professor instead. "Hello Professor...Jake," she smiled then heard Jake's question with a bit of shock. Her eyes immediately began checking out the professor, making sure she was okay. Pinkish, pale...green...well, she was wanting to be a healer eventually soooo she was starting a little early. Trying to catch the signs. Not working.

And as always, Jake wasted no time making his way at home on her sofa. "Comfy, dear?" she teased, raising an eyebrow. She was all prepared to giggle when Jake asked his WEIRD question.

Iliana frowned and reached up to check her hair. 'No problems there,' she thought, feeling her bun still perfectly in place. Her robes were on straight, she'd had enough sleep... all in all she felt fantastic. So why the question?

"I'm fine, Jake. Why do you ask?"
Being that this was the first time Fia had EVER visited her office, Iliana was more than a little curious as to why she was there. She walked over towards her little kitchen and grabbed her tray, placing a plate of fresh biscuits on it before bringing the tea into the sitting room.

"Lovely to see you, Fia. Did you have a good summer?" she asked, motioning her over to an empty chair. Might as well all get comfortable, right?

Giving a small smile and wave to the older Hufflepuff in the hut, Jake watched with curiousity and the odd reactions to his question. Really? It was just a way of saying 'how ate you?' or 'you alright?'. Shaking his head in sliiiiiight exasperation, Jake frowned and put his feet up on the arm of the sofa, stretching out some more. "Never mind," he sighed, staring out of the window, uncharacteristically quiet and preoccupied. "I mmmmight wr-write hhhome... Dddon't like it... Hhhhere."

Iliana busied herself pouring each of them a cup of tea. Whether they wanted it or not, at least it was there. She picked up one for herself and sat down opposite the two Hufflepuffs. She crossed her legs in front of her and sipped at her tea while listening to Jake speak. "You don't like it here? But why?" she asked softly. And there went the carefree mood everyone was in a moment ago. "You just got back here," she said, stating the obvious.

Lucy after all pain she came near the door of Professor Lawson and saw the door already open so she just entered and saw some more students standing there,

"Hey Professor, how are you" she asked as she entered the room, this was her second year but still everything looked so new to her,

"I always like the color of the walls Professor the look so bright with this warm chocolate brown paint" she said smiling at Professor and the others standing there.

Shrugging his shoulders, Jake studied the ceiling. He wouldn't elaborate anymore since now he made it clear he wasn't happy. Still, the boy couldn't help a flicker of distaste passing over his face. "I juhh-just hhhate it," he said simply.

Moving onto his side, Jake stared straight at the woman and decided to sit up a little. He was a little too wound up to be laying around.

"I juhh-just came fffrom Muhh-masterson's," he stated, hands on his knees and feet kicking slightly in the air (since his legs were too short to reach the floor) from where he was hyperactively jiggling them about.

Oh! There was that dreadful question. The question of 'how was your summer'. Should she really go into detail? well the fact that she and Miles were back together and show no signs of any issues at all was the start of a great school year. Soooo she would just have to forget part of her terrible, yucky, ickle summer without Miles and the fight they had. Boys!

Fia tightened her eyes quickly only to open them back up when she realized what she was doing. "My summer started off good." Her smile faded and she sighed. "But ended up terribly rotten I tell you. But the train was good sooooo...all is good, thank you." Talk about beating around the bush. GAH!

Her eyes glanced to Jake. Poor Huffie. After last year's beatings it was no wonder that he was not fond of the old castle. Her eyes looked from the student back to the newly married professor and she smiled.

"Do tell," she began to the professor again, as if she were gossiping with another friend on the latest and juicy news. "Is it true that you are a newlywed?" Her green eyes sparkled as if it were a fairytale coming true.

Chris walked in happily returning Professor Lawson's bright welcome. "It's good to see you Professor!" he said happily as he made his way into her home and sat down at the table inside. "I'm so excited you were made Head of Gryffindor House this term! I'm glad we get to work with you." Chris said as he scratched a speck of dirft off of the shoulder of his robes.

"My summer was good. The usual hung out with friends ans such, but ooh I got to go to the Quidditch World Cup!" he said exctidely. "How was your's?" he asked just as another two knocks sounded on the Hut's door. Who could they be from?

The two students who came in he knew which was good. "Hey Jake, how are you?" he was a bit nervous around this kid because of all the 'stuff' last term, but maybe he could get over his fear of posessed Hufflepuffs.

The second person to enter was another Hufflepuff, but also Fia! He smiled brightly at her and waved as she walked in to join them. "Hello Fia! It's good to see you again." he was kinda over his little crush on her but was still determined to be great friends with her.

Professor Lawson gave the girl her signature smile. "I'm delightful, thank you for asking," she replied. Ili glanced around at her decor proudly. "I've always had a fondness of this room. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one." Waving Lucy further into her office, she said, "Won't you sit down?"
"That's too bad," she said. "I was hoping this term would start out better for you." She shrugged it off. When Jake wanted to elaborate, he would.

She furrowed her brow at his next statement, not exactly sure what that had to do with his desire to leave. Certainly Constantine hadn't rubbed Jake the wrong way. He was such a decent man. Fair and courteous to all the students. Now if Jake had said Bunbury then okay. That would have made sense. But Masterson? "Really?" she said. "How is he?"
"Rotten?!" she repeated. "Goodness Fia, what happened?" She picked up the cookie tray and held it towards her. Somethings were easier to discuss with treats. "You know Fia, if you ever need a little girl talk, my door is always open."

Grabbing a cookie for herself, Iliana broke off a piece and popped it in her mouth. Then she nodded. "It's true." She had that ridiculous little school-girl smile stretched across her face again. "Professor Lawson and I were married right after the end of last term. It was a beautiful ceremony."
"Well thank you, Chris. I hope I do Gryffindor proud," she answered, blushing slightly. She would have gone on talking about how sure she was of their chances this term but... mixed company and all that.

Haha! And there was the goofy smile again. "My summer was wonderful." she said. "Unfortunately, I missed the Quidditch World Cup. I was... abroad. But my brother owled me a play by play."

"Alright," Jake replied to the Gryffindor prefect, and felt oddly outnumbered. Scarily. And stupidly. Since he was with the Gryffindor Head of House and a Gryffindor prefect. Lovely. "Hhuhh-how're yyyou?" the boy asked in return, though avoided eye contact, as he always did with everyone these days.

"Wuhh-well it d-d-didn't," Jake said, acid in his voice, something he immediately regretted. At once, the boy spared Lawson an apologetic glance and stared down at his shoes. Maybe this was the... wrong time to talk about the evil Gryffindor boy?

There was a teeeeeny awkward silence on Jake's part after that, and he continued on the subject of Masterson, grabbing at it like an only opportunity. "Hhhhe suhh-seems okay," Jake spoke hesitantly. Had he asked the man that? Err... oops? "He wwwouldn't ttttuh-tell mmme where LouAnn wuhh-went..." Jake went on, wringing his hands in his lap. Just thinking about it was starting up the panic again. "I gggot upset. He suhh-said to gggo to the Healer an' tttry to ggget a cuhh-calming dddraught..."

Trailing off, Jake looked straight at Professor Lawson. Was that enough of a hint? He hoped so... he needed that darn potion. And soon.

Lucy heard professor telling her to take a seat so she came forward took a seat and said "Thank you Professor, i really like your room it's very good, i like to decorate my room with flowers" she said and look around the room once again

"Professor, i am really looking forward for your classes to start soon, hope it would be as great as the last year or maybe even better" she said giving a sweet smile on her face.

Ok so this was the care of magical creatures office. Now who was the Professor? He wasn't paying that much attention about reading the name on the door. He didn't even know if there was one. He knocked on it. He had to ask about boomslang. And extracting organs.

"Cheer up, Jake," she said. Granted not the greatest advice given his tone but what else could she tell him. Sometimes you just had to have a positive attitude.

"A Healer?" she repeated. "Haven't you taken your potion today?" she asked, screwing up her face. "You know, it won't do you any good if you keep forgetting it."
"I like flowers too," she agreed. "Sometimes I'm even lucky enough to have some brought to me." She looked over at her desk and smiled. Marcus had just brought her a fresh bouquet the night before and they looked wonderful.

"Well Lucy, I'm really looking forward to seeing you there." She wouldn't elaborate on which classes she planned to teach. She liked it to stay a surprise. "I think you'll enjoy them."
"Excuse me, one moment," she said, hearing another knock at the door. "Come in, the door's open," she called out.

Dylan heard a female voice call him in. Ooo a girl professor. This could be interesting. He entered slowly. He spotted Jake and Fia. "Um hey. I am Dylan. Dylan Denver," he smiled at her.

"Hello Dylan, I'm Professor Lawson. It's nice to meet you," she replied, returning his smile. "Would you care to join us?" she asked, tilting her head slightly.

Wait! Another Lawson. Hmmm were they married? So Awesome Lawson and Hot Lawson. Nice. And she was hot. "Nice to meet you Professor Lawson. I presume I have met your husband," he smiled. He nodded though. "I love to join you." Better than starting off with the detention stuff first.

Easier said than done.

But Jake wouldn't let his mouth run away with him again. The boy literally bit his tongue and watched Professor Lawson closely, wondering if she'd worked it out y-

Yes, she had.

"I fuhh-f-..." the boy started, but trailed off, hanging his head. He couldn't HELP it. He just... couldn't REMEMBER. Sparing another glance at the woman, Jake used her distraction of Dylan to keep out of the way for the moment. But still...

"So wwhuhh-what do I ddddo?"

"Really professor you do, i would bring some pleasant fragrant flowers for you the next time i come to meet you and i would love to join you in your class professor, hope they start soon, and Congrats on your wedding professor, I give you best wishes for the future and a happy married life" she said and stood in her place

"I think it’s time for me to go, nice to meet you professor, i had a good time here, hope you to had the same"
