Miles walked onto the platform and looked around, satisfied that he was the only one it seemed out here. Placing his stuff in the luggage car he made his way to the last car and the last compartment in the car. Far enough away from everybody. Closing the door behind him he threw his bag onto the overhead and sat down against the window, not facing the door at all. With a sigh he glanced out at Hogwarts as he was leaving for a longgggggggggggg break it seemed and opened his book on...well he couldn't remember which one he grabbed. As he read the first page it dawned on him why he picked this one. It was a muggle book.

This train was LONG! Front cars, middle cars, food trolley and wouldn't you know, Miles was on the back of the train...in the last compartment that she checked. She stood for a moment looking inside, a sad expression on her face. She watched him but he didn't seem to look up from the book he was reading. Gently she tapped on the window and pressed her lips together.

Miles kept reading about dragons and whatever else the story was going over but wasn't really following it. Hearing a tap on the window he looked up to find Fia standing there, clenching his jaw slightly he looked away from her and down at his book. He'd gotten her owl the night before but refused to respond and didn't even know why really. He was still mad at her. He'd broken his watch because of her and mended it kind of poorly his mind not focused entirely on it. He knew what she wanted, she was going to apologize again but would that really fix the issue?

Fia stood looking and watching Miles but he did absolutely nothing but look at her and then went back to his book. She was not the only one at fault but he was making her out to be the bad guy. So what was she to do? Apologize and then he would say thank you and go back to reading? She opened up the door and stood, NOT taking a seat.

"I came here to apologize. I know you received my owl and I know that you didn't respond." Of course he wouldn't apologize because to him, he did nothing wrong. Right?

As he heard the compartment door open he sighed to himself and closed the book. He must have read the last sentence ten times anyway. He looked up as Fia spoke and placed the book beside him near the window. "Right...." Sighing he rubbed the back of his neck stifling a yawn as he hadn't slept last night and it was starting to get to him. "I didn't respond because I was still mad it wouldn't have done any good except for start another argument."

He looked up at Fia and placed his hands on his lap, they felt weird not having the weight of the watch on his wrist like he had had for months now. "I...I know you don't like Brody..." he started this time looking at his hands and not at her. "And I know you think she's up to something but she's not. I swear. I'm tired of this argument. This same one all the time. Even if she was I'd like to think that you trust me enough to know better than to think I'd fall for it." He looked up and met her eyes finally, "I'd like to think that Ivan's wrong and that a relationship doesn't change everything but so far...I can't tell. I don't know where my Fia is anymore." Things have changed as much as he had tried to keep them the same and the outrageously jealous side she's been having just didn't appeal to him.

Reid stepped off the platform and onto the back of the train without a backwards glance. Hogwarts was his home for two years and it had made an important impact on him but at the same time he didn't want to look back on his time there. Not now when he knew that he would never set foot on those grounds again. Those grounds where so many things had happened. It was surreal in a way that school was ending and that he was moving on to the next stage of his life, especially since an important part of that life would still be at the school.

Sighing Reid walked through the corridor looking for a compartment to sit and reflect in, knowing that it was unlikely anyone would join him. He wished that Rachel would but he hadn't seen her in a few days and could only hope that he saw her before he left for Australia. He'd be heartbroken if he didn't. Plopping down on a seat he closed his eyes, relaxing as he knew that now would be the only time that he got.

Fia didn't move from the doorway. She was NOT about to sit down because obviously he was still upset. She listened to his speech while looking out the train window at all the students making their way to the end of another school year. She sniffed as she gnawed on her lower lip. There was something about Brody she didn't like and for some reason, she just couldn't put it past her. And now they were gift givers and she was supposed to just play like everything was okay? Fine!

"It's the summer now. No more school. No more students." No more stress. No more BRODY! At least after this train wreck was over, she wouldn't have to see the PUFFIE for a few months. FINE.WITH.HER. "Look, you can go back to your book. I just needed to get that off of my chest."

Torin was bored and waiting for either Brody or Tammy to come and keep him company. Preferably Brody, seeing as he not only had a present that he wanted to give her, but he also didn't know if he was ready to deal with all the emotions that Tammy would stir up in him during this trip home.

While he waited, he pulled out a book, placed his feet up on the seat and started to read.

It was her birthday. Yey. With big smile on her face, who wouldn't have a smile on their face when it was their birthday? Brody wandered down the corridor at the back of the train, attempting to find one her friends (And all the presents tehhe)
"Torin Kane." Brody smiled, as she slipped into the compartment he was in. "What you reading?" She asked, trying to pretend that she'd forgotten it was her birthday, and failing miserably.

He started slightly as he heard someone call his name. "Oh, hey, Brody," he said with a smile. Just when he had been thinking about her she appeared. She had probably been trolling the train looking for presents. He closed the book and put his feet down, sitting up properly. "I was reading a book about cars." Boring, he knew. But he loved cars. He patted the place beside him so that she would sit.

Pursing his lips as Fia spoke he walked over toward the door and looked around. Not seeing anyone he pulled the shade down and locked the door so they wouldn't be interrupted. Turning back to Fia he crossed his arms. "Sit down."

He waited for her and then paced along the small space speaking fast as he did when he was on a role, tangent, or making an argument. "Look...I'm not going to just ignore this as you seem to want to. This has to stop. I've known you all my life I'd put you before anyone and everyone and I have. You're not my only friend but you're my best friend and my girlfriend." Note he didn't use was...well he hadn't sent that letter off to his mum either. He didn't want was. "I don't care if you don't like Brody she's my friend. I don't get all crazy about you still talking to Theo...but I swear if you're making me choose you or her I'll choose you. I...I will..." he slowed down and turned to look at her finally. "I can't let Ivan be right. I don't WANT Ivan to be right."

As he stopped talking he realized that a lot of what he had said hadn't been thought as he said them and how right they were. If Fia asked him to choose...he would. But as far as he was concerned Brody was just his next closest friend and that was it.

Brody smiled as she turned next to him. He didn't mention anything about a present, but she knew he'd got her one, he'd told her so yesterday. "About cars? On a day like today? She rolled her eyes, as she smiled up at him. She wondered whether he would give her the present now, or whether he'd wait till everyone was around. "Greece today."

Fia walked inside and quickly took to her seat as Miles demanded. Now she was really in trouble. His voice, his actions...she'd never seen anything like it before. Her eyes roamed with him as he paced the floor and got what he needed off of his chest.

"No you don't go crazy when Theo is around," she said as she leaned back in her seat and crossed her arms to her chest. "You just call him names to his face." But then he stated that he would make the ultimate sacrifice and not be Brody's friend any more. Did he understand that he was asking FIA this?

She sighed as she couldn't go with her first instinct of OKAY! Bye-bye Brody! But she was not that cold, at least not yet. That was not the way this was supposed to happen and she was NOT about to make him do that. "You can have your friends just as I can have my friends," she calmly stated and continued. "But I'm tired of turning around and now..." Grrrrr! She was NOT going there!

Yes she was.

"I just feel like it's being rubbed in my face every time. I'm not asking you to not be her friend I just feel like...she might take your 'over-friendliness' too far and think that you want more than just a friendship." Yeah! How many guy friends give their GIRL friends a gift? And it just haddd to be those ear-bobs that she kept showing off!

Miles smirked slightly as he heard what Fia said and shrugged, "Well in the scheme of things it's better than behind his back but...still...I know he likes you. I KNOW it. He thinks he's better than me because we keep fighting and you two don't. Do you think I like that? No...but I don't say anything. I don't tell you you can't talk to him. I don't get all jealous to you about it. I simply poke a little fun at his expense and to my amusement."

Sighing he sat down across from her, "And if she does I'll set her straight but since I'm pretty sure she's still not over Torin fully I doubt that will happen." He reached across the small space between them and grasped her hands. "Look...anyone can buy a pair of earrings for someone, a book, a watch...anything really...it doesn't have any hidden meaning behind it." Leaning forward he grasped the gold chain that he saw glinting around her neck and pulled out the locket. "But to give something...so deeply personal that it's been in my family for centuries...." He swallowed and looked up to meet Fia's eyes, "That says a lot more and has all sorts of hidden meanings. If that's not enough for you.... I don't know what is. Maybe knowing that I broke the watch last night?"

"I like cars." He stuck his tongue out at her. He thought that she would have known by now that he wanted to learn how to drive as soon as possible. He was going to get his license at 16 even though he was supposed to at 17. Just 'cause he wanted to.

But enough about that. He had to give her her present. He reached in his bag and pulled out her gift. "Happy Birthday!" he said as he handed it over to her with a kiss on the cheek. A friendly kiss of course. He was going to try this being friends thing and that meant that they couldn't really kiss. Unfortunately.

"So you all ready for the trip?"

"In other words, you deal with it in your own way," Fia said about the issue with Theo as well. "And just so we are telling what's now going on," she was speaking of Miles telling her about the watch that BRODY gave him and the EARRINGS that she was sooo right about. "Theo invited me to his house this summer." She paused as she looked down to the necklace that Miles was toying with.

"But I was planning on spending my summer with someone who means so very much to me." She sighed once again and met his eyes. "And you thought I didn't wear the necklace. I haven't taken it off since you placed it on me." Why was life hard sometimes?

"You know you are very cute and...charming with a funny personality. The girls will eat you right up if they could." She shrugged her shoulders with another huff of air. "Did you use repairo on the watch?" Did she have to help him fix it? Of course, but it didn't mean she wanted to see it every day.

"I didn't know I was a jealous person. I never have been before." But Brody was pretty, perky, and bubbly. What boy wouldn't want that?

"I guess so." He didn't really know he just thought the kid was so spastic. Then she spoke... "Right..." He looked up at her curiously. Had she told him yes? What would he do if she had? It wasn't like he had made any plans to go see Brody and Theo had dated Fia. Oh brother.

"Well...are you still?" He didn't tell his mum what was going on mainly because he didn't need her being there smothering him with her are you okays. "I never saw it." He ran his thumb over his families crest and smiled. "It makes me happy that you do."

He laughed at her reasoning and shook his head, "No...I'm really not." In his mind he wasn't. He'd never saw himself like that. As she mentioned the watch he nodded. "I'm one of the smartest in the class of course I did," he said with a cocky smirk and then sighed. "It's in my trunk." He wasn't going to throw it out it had been a gift after all.

Moving off of his seat he sat beside Fia and placed his arm around her, "Well...it's summer. Time to think up ways to annoy Ivan and evade Bothari. Just you and me." Now that they had said what needed to be said he was more than happy to move on from there. Let's just hope that next term would be easier. Much easier.

As soon as his arm was around her, Fia leaned onto Miles' shoulder. He was comfortable, she was tired, they were making up. THANK MERLIN'S LEFT TOE! "If you still want me too, I will," she said to spending time with him. "But if anything, I need to see my dad first." She giggle lightly and yawned as Miles continued to look at the necklace.

"You believe what you want," she said to him not thinking he was cute. She thought it and that was all that mattered! Yup! And then back to the watch. She nodded her head as she was finished with that conversation as well. So he couldn't fix the watch. Oops!

"You think we could throw Ivan in the closet and lock it then hide from Bothari? We could jump out and say "tag your it" then take off running." Ohhh that man wouldn't be happy with either one of them this summer. "And can I put something in Ivan's drink that he would be so delusional that he would wake the next morning married?" Could they stay in the closet to see the look on his face? Classic!

Marilyn couldn't escape the Great Hall fast enough. While her face remained stoic, in reality she wanted to scream at the top of her lungs...scream at Rafe Lycaon until she was hoarse. Why was he doing this to her? What if something happened to him? Stupid, stupid Gryffindor! Did he not care that she'd be utterly heartbroken...and lost without him. Rafe was her best friend, after all...Yea, keep telling yourself that, blondie.

She sat in one of the compartments in the very back, wanting to be Slytherin in private. Her void expression was still going strong...and Marilyn had never been more grateful for it either. She was a total mess on the inside. Promising herself that if Rafe did survive the self-discovery thing he was doing, she'd hex the living daylights out of him.

"I know you do." Brody smiled at him. He had mentioned getting his license a few days ago, and it would be cool if he had a car, then he could come and see her all he liked. That would be awesome, but only if he had a cool care, because she wouldn't be seen in just any car. She had a repuation. Tehhe.

She beamed as he handed over the present, and she stared at it. "This is oddly wrapped." She giggled, as she shook it, more for just the sake of shaking it. She looked up at him, before opening it carefully. "Oh my. Torrrin!" Brody giggled, as she held the bat in her hands. "I don't want to hit you over the head anymore though" She giggled, as she leant up, and hugged him. "Thank you soooo much"

Then he mentioned Greece, and she smiled. "Yuupp! I've never been on a plane before though."

Emily looked back at hogwarts, could her first year be over already? she couldn't believe it. She had made many knew friends, and had hardly seen Aakhora at all, but you know, she wasn't all that lonely at Hogwarrts. She placed her luggage in the baggage car and her kneazle jumped onto her shoulders. She picked up her pygmy puff from a top the trunk and went to the back of the train.

she slid open a compartment door, which she noticed was quite empty, shut the door, and began to cry... how sad that this year had ended.

Kay walked on to the train and look for a place to sit. She found a compartment that was empty and went in. Kay put her things up and closed the door. Sitting down she wonder if she would be riding alone, like she did on the way here. She hadn't seen Kevin after the feast and didn't know if she would again. Sighing she looked out the window and thought of her first letter. She hope it would be a quick ride back. The faster she got there the faster she could come back.

Josh was pulling his trunk and owl's cage rather lazily looking for a suitable compartment, preferably an empty one since he had not seen neither Rose not one of his friends around yet. So looking inside the compartments as he moved on in the corridor, he was trying to find one, he did the same thing till his eyes spotted a blonde head inside one of compartments. He halted there and peeked inside to see Marilyn sitting...alone. Plus she was not looking too happy. When the scenes in the Great Hall, Marilyn sitting with Carter and Rafe, as he was cleaning the pumpkin juice, her not looking happy again came back into his mind. Narrowing his eyes at the sight of the girl when he remembered this; Josh quickly opened the compartment door, threw his things on the seat after stepping inside and closed the door back. He had a few things that she needed to hear. ''Hi, Blonde. It's very surprising to see ya sitting alone, ha?''

Dragging his luggage across he noticed Torin and Brody.. Well this would be a good chance to meet Brody proper! ''Allo you two, dont mind if Master Wazzems joins ya?'' he smiled, he was in a good mood today.. once he got off this train he had Quidditch training and then the big match the following day against France youth.
