Again, Annabell found herself totally lost.. Umm?

If she had noone to turn to, who was going to progress?

Noone.

Sighing deeply, Tammy left the common room, after leaving Torin with Brody and Cloud to his own devices up in her dorm. Taking a deep breath as she did come out she looked around. Great.

Just the one person she really didn't want to see. Not now.

"Eva.."

Eva walked through the corridors of the castle heading torwads her common room. She had the feeling there she would find Tammy and truth be told, she had been procrastinating a serious conversation they should have. But she had to do it again, considering she was on to more important things than to get Tammy's friendship back. It was a sad thing, but it also true. If her friend didn't care.... then why should she?
She looked back to see if Helios was still following her and smiled. It was kind of nice having him around, especially giving what they were doing.

She stopped abruptly and looked at the person in front of her. She placed her hand softly on Helios' arm, before he started acting too much like a prince.
"I'll do the main talk, okay? I know exactly what to do..." she whispered to him, wishing she could swear it was true. With no apparent effort, Eva smiled softly and gave a step forward:
"Tammy. Just the person I was hoping to see. How are you, girl?" she apused, giving Tammy enough time to answer before continuing. "I was wondering if we could have a small talk. Helios and I have a few... doubts we though you could help us out with it." Eva seemed distant torwards Tammy. If the younger girl was waiting on some sort of apology or seeing Eva completely torn appart, she was wrong. Eva was there on a different type of mission.

Swallowing slightly at the sight of the two people before her, Tammy felt rather inclined to back into the common room once more and just cling to Torin. "T.. Tor-" What was the use, she was seventeen, she was a prefect. What could these two people do that could make her need Torin at this moment.

"I'm okay thanks Eva." She smiled softly, realising Eva wasn't there to get her back for anything. She needed something. Well this was going to be an entirely enjoyable conversation. Folding her arms, into comfort, she nodded allowing Eva to continue. "Okay.. It depends what its about. And if he gives any of the rpince stuff, thats it. I'm outta here." Oh, because everyone had heard of Prince Helios and his uppity ways.

Eva's expression turned serious and thougher as Tammy spoke.
"Should I remind you that is your job to help the students in the school? The last I checked, you are our house prefect." Yes, it was a low blow, but Tamzin's immediate superior attittude annoyed her and Eva felt like defending Helios, which was a stranger, compared to Tammy. And by 'our' she didn't mean herself and Helios. She was using the plural on purpose, so that Tammy would understand that wasn't just something between the two girls. No, there was a lot more people involved than anyone of them could imagine.

It helped her a lot to have him there by her side. Just like an ally in a dangerous battle, despite Tamzin being everything less dangerous.
"You know a lot of people... You should know as well everything that happens in here." she started out slowly and very softly. "If we needed to... know a few couple of things, who should we talk to?" Okay, it was nothing subtle, but it should fit her purposes and to start off the conversation.
Because there was no way Tammy would make it easier for her.

Tammy nodded, "Yeah I know that. I'm just not having any attitude right, my day isnt going so well. Shooot it at me then." She wasn't trying to sound pushy, but really really this couldn't have come at a worse time, and having Helios there for 'backup' wasn't helping Tammys buckling knees.

Listening she nodded softly, her feet taking her closer to the pair. "It depends what you wanted to know though.." She trailed off, maybe she needed backup. EH. They needed prefect telepathacy. DOMMMMMM! SAVEEEMEEE.

"That sucks, but hey... It happens to everyone, having a bad day." Eva smiled condescendingly. She felt the biy quiet next to her and thanked him silently for it. I should find a way to make him up for this alter... There is no way I could be here, with Tammy, all alone. It's too difficult, she admitted to herself. "I'm not here to point the finger at you or anything." Evafelt like clarifying it. "And this has nothing to with us. With me and you. This is a school's-matter interest."

Eva nodded slightly.
"I want to know who's the person that knows everything that goes on in this school..." she said mysteriously, going straight to the point.

Nodding quickly, Tammy listened, and spent a meer ten seconds pondering over the answer herself. "Headmaster more than likely.. E, what do you want to know anyway?" She was of course only asking, because she didnt want her to get hurt. Or stuck in something she didn't like.

There was a storm brewing in those cloudy blue eyes as Helios stood over the two young women. Arms folded over his broad chest, Helios could feel the tension in the air. Though he had fixed his forked tongue, it seemed he retained the serpentine ability to taste the air. The prince tried to focus on the scents coming from the kitchens, and not the tense friendship infront of him.

Helios did not like playing the muscle. Being more than capable of diplomacy on his own, it wasn't until he realized that nobody really trusted him, that he relaxed a little and let Eva handle the talking. He was a man of action anyways. A prefects nightmare. "Hmm.."

Eva glanced over at Helios... What can I tell her? So, she made her most charming smile and waited for Tammy not to take her too seriously.
"What if I tell you it's gossip?" She is soo going to hate me.. if she doesn't hate already. Eva thought amused.
She took another step forward and her expression turned into a serious one.
"I need information, but I also need to keep this a secret. You're my friend and I promised I would always tell you everything. I'm asking two things: to answer my question and to remain it in silence..." she whispered, whishing Tammy could interpretate the look on her face. In helios words, the right questions would lead to right answer and honesty was something too valuable.
They were no long kidding there and Tammy should realize it.

"Okay, you've got me interested okay. What are you trying to do E? Because if its anything that could get me into any trouble, I aint helping. Not at all." She looked at the girl, and avoided Helios behind her. He was nothign at this moment. If she spoke to him, then it would probably be a yell that he was turning her best friend Eva into something she totally wasnt.

Eva rolled her eyes.
"You really think I'd come to you if I was in trouble? Come on, Tammy! You must think that I hate you." she told her friend off. "You really have such a low opinion of me?" she asked sadly, her heart tearing appart at Tammy's every single word. Eva bit her lower lip. That was not personal;: she only had to keep on reminding herself of that.
"Who might tell me what's happening here? I mean, everywhere - even in the Minister - there is a Gossip Girl..." Eva made the refence to a muggle tv show she was almost sure Tammy, being also half muggle, should know. That was just one of the many things they had in common. "In another words, I'm trying to find Hogwart's very own Gossip Girl." It didn't explain much, but it was better than nothing from where she was standing.
Maybe this was a bad idea... How could she had thought tha Tammy would believe her?

"I'd help you, but I have no idea myself. You're gonna be on your own with this. Okay.. So not entirely on your own, you've got him... Not that he's gonna be much help with his uppity attitude. . . " She stopped and shifted her feet so she wasnt on the brink of falling over and sighed slightly.

Tammy Wood, was going to fail Eva.

"You might not know yet, but you know people you might... know." She was using that verb too many times in that conversation. Her expression turned too serious again when Tammy criticised Helios again.
"Tammy, please." it was not a request. "Me and Helios are helping each other and you mgiht just want to know that I asked him to the one talking, considering it was my idea to come to you. Obviously, I was wrong because you not only ended up insulting him, as you despised talking to me. Should I say thanks for that?" she commented in pure disbelief. "And then you wonder why I had the say I say... Maybe you should herself in the mirror, girl." The real thing that annoyed Eva was that Tammy acted like if she didn't know her. It hurt her to see her friend misunderstanding the signs. Maybe she jsut doens't wnat to see it, Eva though bitting her lower lip stronger, and eventually starting to bleed.

"Crap." Eva turned around to the wall and took a small white tissue from her pocket, and placed it on her lip to stop the bleeding. She hated others to see her vulnerable and the two people in there had did it more than once. Eva was turned to the wall not only because she wanted to hide the blood, but because she was almost crying and truth be told... she was afraid she would faint when she took the tissue off and saw the blood.

"Bunbury and her harpies are this schools source of gossip. Good luck getting me anywhere near them again." This wasn't working. It seemed as if Eva wanted to get Tammy involved.

"Listen..We can part ways now, and forget this happend. Eva and I would appreciate your help, but we would not want you to get in any trouble." Helios sounded more concerned than he really was. The prince had a real problem with authority. Those in charge tended to get tangled up in the rules, leaving it to people like him to get things done.

"Yeah. Off you go then, cos I reallly reallly cant deal with this.. Im not getting myself into trouble and maybe loosing my Prefectness, because you two want to find gossip." She sighed, and turned round, finding her way back towards the common room.

Eva turned at Tammy with tears threatning to fall.
"Right. 'Cause that's all that matters to you now. And, if you can be me look bad, you're all up for it. You disappoint me, Tammy. I never thought you were the type of person that got... that power affected so much. I guess I was wrong for believing you were different, for trusting you, for..." Everybody could notice Eva was having a hard time finishing her sentence. She turned to walk away making a huge effort. She took a few steps before having to grab onto he wall. She needed a new tissue, because that was already too...red. Eva had to look down at it and she felt dizzy. I can't...
That's when it all went black.

Something had thudded to the floor. Hopefully E had punched that Helios dude. But glancing over to see if she could get some sort of laugh out of it Tammy saw Eva on the floor. "OMIGOSH. E!" Rushing to her side Tammy began fanning her hand over her face. "Go and get the nurse boy. QUICK."

"Eva!" More startled by her outburst than he cared to admit, a steadying hand was placed on her shoulder. "If you cannot respect your friend, respect the badge."

Here's something you don't see every day. Helios bowed infront Tammy, sincerity making the gesture a bit unsettling. "Thank you for your time. Perhaps we can meet in the common room sometime and work through our issues. Now does not seem the time though."

And now he had to be the calm one?



What? It happend all so fast. Eva was on the ground, and he was too busy trying to be diplomatic to catch her. "Shewillbeok!" His mouth moved as fast as his feet. He was a blur, disappearing down the hallway.

Ouch.
It hurts.
Eva felt the heache before she could open her eyes. She was lay down on a cold surface, not soft and she had something on her hand.. She blinked twice and opened her eyes, seeing the tissue covered in blood on her hand. Ewww... She felt dizy again but this time she was able to control her body. She didn't take much time to understand what had happened, especially because knew her limits. And that what happened to many times for Eva ignore that she couldn't stand the sight of blood.
Why does my head hurts so much? she asked herselg, still not feeling well enough to ask that out loud. She looked to the side and realized almost immediately. Oh no... She was in the middle of the floor. Last tihng she remebered was talking to Tammy and... Tammy!
"Please tell me it didn't just happen what I think it did..." Eva whispered slowly, focusing her vision on a head above hers. She tried to stood up and she couldn't help back the expresison of pure pain.
She decided it was better to just leant agaisnt the wall and to stay near the ground, in case she felt bad again.

She finally open her eyes to completely and the bright red color come up to her cheecks. She was not only ashamed, but also deeply hurt emotionally.
"I'm fine." she managed to say. "Just go back to your Prefects' duties and leave me alone. Don't pretend that you care, now will you?" she had to speak slowly, but she did it anyway. Then, her eyes moved on to Helios, as she dried one tear from her face.
"I'm sorry you had to see this." she apologized, well aware that she didn't look the type of detective girl. "I tried to be alone when this sort of things nhappen.." she added to her apology and covered her face with her hands. When she realized, he was already gone somewhere. That was too bad to be happenning all at the same time.
In a bad mood, she turned at her supposed friend:
"Where did Helios go?" she asked.

Mind and legs racing, Helios came running down the corridor, arms filled with assorted bandages. There was even some teen witch magazine that he scooped up in his haste to grab up anything useful. "Eva! You're--!"

Nearly stumbling into Eva as a length of gauze wrapped itself around his ankle, spilling the speedy prince to the floor with a dull thud, landing at Eva's side. "--ok.." After the initial crash, the cold stone floor was rather comfy.

"For you." Looking from the floor, Helios presented a small bandage.

Eva looked at the boy as he appeared in front of her, like if he was responding to her calling. She gazed at him and made a small smile.
"Thanks..." she said as she looked to what he had brought. "Really, I'm okay. You didn't have to..." she cut off her own sentence to clean up her lip. She did it very careful, seeing it was still bleeding a little, but trying not to look at the tissue covered in blood. It wasn't the smell, nor the amoung of blood, it was just the sight of it that made her sick.
"I'm sorry. Just give me a minute, and I'll be fine." she told him, grateful his actions, but still too ashamed to behave otherwise.

Sighing Tammy looked at Eva and frowned. "Fine.. And uh.. by the way.. I do care, I care more than anyone could care. But it isn't like you're bothered right? You stay with your new friend. I'll get back to my 'new life'." Another sigh left her lips and she headed off again.

Eva looked at the floor as her friend walked away. It hurt much more than Tammy could think it did, but she wasn't to give the girl the pleasure to see her even more vulnerable. From the begining of their friendship, Eva had always acted as the more responsable one and the eldest, always protecting her blondie, so it was quite difficult for her to see things the other away around: that it could be Tammy taking care of her, instead of othewrwise.
"I wished it was true..." she whispered to herself in a louder whisper, yet not meant for Tammy to hear. She was just going have to get used to not have her little blondie around.
