He Hoped The Teacher Was nice As her hut was...

Barry carefully approached the door and looked behind him to make sure Jack was following "Nice cat" he remarked. Then approaching the door he saw a boy walk straight in. "Rule number one never enter a teachers office without knocking. I did once and I was attacked by surfboards" he then knocked on the door he muttered to Jack "Don`t prank..... yet anyway"

Jake bit his lip in worry and shuffled backwards a little. Shaking the slightest amount, Jake held Lolcat close and sat the kitten on his should to feel the comfort of warmth. When the cat was on his pedestal, he gave one loud MEW! and gave Jake a head-to-head nudge. "Thanks, you're very kind... and I'm sure Lolcat thinks so too," Jake stated, having to do that not-quite-spitting-but-where-it-seems-like-your-letting-air-out-in-short-blasts kind of thing to get ride of the cat fur on his lips and tongue; the result of Lolcat turning to face the opposite direction and pushing his tail practically in Jake's mouth whilst Jake spoke. "Puh!"

Nodding at the "always knock" comment, Jake also replied to the assumption about pranking, "I wasn't planning to..."

Not until I meet this lady... she may be a nice teacher.

Woah! Oxymoron much?

Reese walked up to the hut tht belongs to the new Professor.She took in a deep breath and walked up to the door and gently knocked 3 times.She stepped back and waited for someone to answer.She was always bad at making good first impressions on Professors.Let's hope this works out.She can't to detention on the first week of school.

Iliana was making her way down to her hut, anxious to check on Vincent and give him the little snack that she had salvaged from the feast. Even though she was feeling quite exhausted after the eventful first night, she perked up at once when she saw the small group of students that had gathered just outsider her door. Squeezing past them to open it, she greeted each of them with a sweet, inviting smile and went inside. "Good evening, I'm Professor Morgan, please come in." she said, holding the door for them to enter.

Once inside, she made her way over to Vincent's cage and slipped her hand inside. After making his normal flight up her arm and unto her shoulder, Professor Morgan closed his cage and took a seat at her desk. "How can I help you?" she asked, returning her focus to her visitors.

Jake bit his lip and looked to Barry. "Erm.." he squeaked, nervously. "B-Barry and I wanted to come and... erm, great, you know, the Professors. Mainly the new ones... I... I think."

Well way to go Jacob, you made a great job of not acting like a compete idiot.

Lolcat brought attention to himself again, on Jake's shoulder, and Jake instinctively reached up to gently keep the kitten there. The kitten had a hungry glint in his eye, so Jake brought him down and held him securely.

"So... hi..." Jake finished lamely, wondering if Barry had anything to add, but instead ending up referring to that creature that Lolcat was glaring at. "What's that, Professor Morgan?" he asked, remembering her name. Jake loved animals.

"Good evening,Professor,"Reese said with a smile.She went inside the hut when she was welcomed in and looked around.The hut was so...adorable.The colors were so warming.She felt welcomed in here.She turned back to Professor Morgan. "I just wanted to come and meet our new Professor and welcome her to Hogwarts.I'm Reese Northway,"she told Professor Morgan.

"Well, I'm so glad you've come. I've been eager to meet all of my new students as well." she said, opening up a small tin that was on her desk and offering him a cookie. Noticing the protective way that he was holding his kitty, Iliana instinctively reached her hand up to Vincent and stroked his tiny head with one finger. "This is Vincent. He's my pet Snidget. I rescued him from the reserve when he was just a baby." she said, smiling happily at the memory.

"I don't believe I got your name, dear. What is it?" she asked.
"It is very nice to meet you, Miss Northway. And thank you so much for the warm welcome. That was very kind of you." she said sincerely. "Will you be attending my lessons this term?" she asked.

Jake grinned at the Professor; this was going better than it could have turned out with some professors...

Hold the phone... sniff... sniffsniff... Was that... sugar?! Jake inched forwards as he was offered a marvelous delight of wonders and joy... or as others may put it... a cookie. He sensed the sugar begin to take effect after so as little as the first nibble.

"Wow, a Snidget," Jake spoke up, feeling alot more comfortable. "I only saw one of those in my quidditch books... I wasn't impressed with the sport they had with them, but that was a long time ago, right? So, yeah, wow..."

Jake cradled Lolcat in the one hand as he finished the cookie, well aware he shouldn't eat another for... oh, say 3 years?

"My name?" Jake asked, distracted by the Snidget. He finally tore his eyes away from it-was it's name... Vincent?-and looked to the professor. Then the words made more sense. "Oh, my name. I'm Jacob Upstead, or most people call me Jake, and I'm a first year Hufflepuff." He didn't know why he added the last part, but it was probably something to do with the sugar giving him a kick-start. "Thank you for the cookie," Jake grinned again.

Good Evening professor I`m John Dorian I`m only A first year but i really wait to the third year to start CoMC Ya see i`m from Ireland me and my family are very fond of hiking and i have met so many Interesting creatures .. i hope learning about them would be as good as just seeing them in nature ... by the way where did you get that Awesome Snidget i have been hiking all my short life and never saw one

"Yes, that's correct. Thankfully, their use in Quidditch was banned centuries ago by Elfrida Clagg when she declared them an endangered species." she explained. Iliana pulled out a small bag from inside her robes and sat some tiny seeds in front of Vincent. "Well Mr. Upstead, its lovely to meet you and I am so glad that you decided to stop by."
"Pleasure to meet you Mr. Dorian. I have been to Ireland on holiday a time or two. Simply breathtaking countryside!" she said. "I would love to hear about all of the creatures you've stumbled across. I am intrigued." she said. "As for my lessons, please join us if you find the time in your schedule. Real animal lovers like yourself and Mr. Upstead would be a real asset to my class."

Smiling her proud, motherly smile at Vincent, Professor Morgan stroked his feathers once more. "Well before I came to work here at Hogwarts, I held a position at the Modesty Rabnott Snidget Reservation." she explained. Leaning forward in her chair, she whispered, "And you see, this sweet angel's mother died when he was only a day old. So I raised him and he's been with me ever since." she said.

"Thank you for refrshing my currently terrible memory," Jake nodded. "I read quite a few of my books but you know, with reading things once some things don't get in, and all of this excitement just wipes your memory for a while. I'll be sure to read up some more... I love me my animals," Jake scratched Lolcat's ears to emphasize this, and the cat let out a satisfited MEEEW.

Jake smiled and nodded. "It was lovely to meet you too, Professor Morgan," he replied. "And I shall be sure to attend your Care of Magical Creatures class," Jake smiled, before looking up at Barry. "I should go... I promised somebody that I'd meet them, and they get a little sensitive."

After a last "Bye, and pleased to meet you," to both the other first year and the Professor, Jake headed for the door.

Barry had only steppe in and Jake was leaving. Oh well "Well um bye Jake2 he said and he stepped in and said to the professer "Its nice to um meet you professer. Whats your ah experiance?"

" Id Really Love That He Answered and if ill find time youll be sure to find amongst your student`s ..
and if you ever need help in some animal concerned task i would really love to help ya out... "
He smiled To her still amazed by the golden snidget..

"It's nice to meet you,Professor Morgan.Oh,it's no problem.I always go around and welcome some new faces,"Reese said with a smile."Oh,of course!I wouldn't miss Care of Magical Creatures for anything.It's like one of my best subjects."She smiled at the Professor.

Wow, Hogwarts was probably the hugest school you'd ever find in Scotland. Especially with those tricky moving staircases and all of the other stuff he hadn't encountered yet. Not only the inside but the outside was much, much bigger. Geeez, he could probably even get lost outside! Cam was planning to meet a professor and would probably the first ever professor he would talk to in person. Care of Magical Creatures, or whatever it was, sounded awesome and fun. He had some animal experiences in the muggle world but in Hogwarts, the animals were magical so it had to be twice the fun in everything.

There was still some dirt on his face and a small scrape with some red on it from the fall in the courtyard. Honestly he didn't want to try looking for the Hospital Wing or the bathroom since he was afraid to be lost in the school. He would have to try finding those later in case something else happened. Cam brought a cage with all three of his pygmy puffs which was held on his right hand.

Knock. Knock.

He was sure he'd heard a few students in the room so he'd probably just wait.

Professor Morgan nodded at him as he mentioned his love for animals once again. "We certainly have that in common." She said with a smile. As Jake began to leave, Iliana lifted her hand to give him a little wave and said, "Good evening, Mr. Upstead. Come to visit anytime."
Professor Morgan drew her attention back to the boy addressing her. "My experience? Now, do you mean my teaching experience or my magical creature background?" she asked politely. "Well why don’t I just give you both." She offered with a smile. "Let’s see…. before coming to Hogwarts, I taught Arithmancy at Beauxbatons. Are you familiar with the school?" She asked. "And as for magical creatures....I have been studying them for many, many years now. Oh and of course, there’s my time on the reservation to take into account."
"Thank you so much for the offer, Mr. Dorian. I will certainly keep you in mind if anything comes up." She said, picking up the cookie tin again and offering it to him. "Would you care for one?" she asked.
"Is it now? Well that is good news." Professor Morgan said. "It was always my favorite subject as well. I really hope you enjoy it this term. I have some interesting lessons planned. " She added, delighted to have such eager students. "Tell me, what types of creatures are you interested in learning about?"
"Come in, the door’s open. "Morgan called out.

" Yes Thank You... " He took A cookie and ate it..
" well Thanks And good Bye"

Reese smiled at Professor Morgan."Oh,I bet I will enjoy this term,"she assured the Professor.When she asked what creature she was interesting learning about,she replied,"Hippogriffs.They are fansinating creatures.Don't you think?What's your favorite creature,Professor?"

The boy carefully walked in and raised an eyebrow of how clean and neat it was. Were those leather chairs? Must've cost tons of money, I bet. He didn't want to take a seat in fear of breaking the "perfectness" of the room and the professor. Ah I really should've tried finding the bathroom or the Hospital Wing. I probably look like a person who's been playing out in the dirt! Cam put on a nervous face tried to smile yet it turned out to be crooked. Riiiight, he was here for a reason.

"... You must be Professor Morgan right?" He hoped he got the name right with his bad memory and all. "Well my mum works at a zoo in the muggle world so I'm really excited about your classes."

"I`m familiar with the school. I have a relative who attends the school. Arithmacy? What made you decide to switch to magical creatures? Wsn`t Arithmacy good?" he asked of cource he hated arithmacy himself but morgon didn`t have to.

Strolling off towards the Magical Creatures classrooms on the grounds, Dominic figured it best to see this professor next. After all, other than some annoying antics by Professor Brooks, she seemed to be a nice witch. For the most part anyway. Of course little did he know, as the fifth year had never visited the previous professor, was that things were decorated differently. No, Dominic just assumed the tranquility of the scene was Brooks' style, and that she hadn't been at the feast for she was taking care of Abraxans or something.

Knocking on the heavy wooden door, the tall Hufflepuff boy waited for the notion to enter the haven, hoping that her office wasn't crowded like Masterson's had been. Sighing quietly, he listened to the voices on the other side of the door for a moment as he waited for the okay to enter.

Professor Morgan nodded in agreement. "Oh yes, Hippogriffs are wonderful creatures. For me, if I had to pick a favorite, it would be Vincent here. Golden Snidgets have become a passion of mine." she said, lifting him from his perch on her shoulder and cradling him in one hand. "Though before working on the Snidget Reservation, Abraxans were right on the top of my list. I guess they still are. They are so majestic."
"Yes, that's correct. And what is your name?" she asked. She listened as he spoke about his mother and smiled. "Well, that's wonderful. And I imagine that you've had a love for animals since just about birth then, huh?" she said, laughing softly. "Well, I have as well. And I look forward to having you in my class."
Iliana was feeling in the best of moods. So far she had already meet a handful of the nicest students and they seemed to just keep getting nicer. "Let me see how to explain it." she said, thinking for a moment before speaking again. "Well, it was my love for teaching that brought me to Beauxbatons and Arithmancy was just a bonus. Its a subject that I've always loved. But nothing could ever really compare to Magical Creatures as far as I was concerned and so when Hogwarts had this position open, I couldn't possibly refuse." she explained. "What about you, young man?" she asked, trying to remember if she had caught his name. "What do you like about Magical Creatures?"
Hearing a knock at the door, Professor Morgan looked up. "Please come in." she called out, setting Vincent back onto her shoulder, so that he wouldn't get nervous. "Hey!" She cried, in mock surprise when he nipped her on the ear. "I know, you don't always like company but learn some patience and be hospitable." she scolded.

Cam nodded his head after she asked if he had a love for animals ever since birth. It was too bad the family never really had a pet other than spiders and ants around the house back at home. His thoughts were interrupted by a person knocking at the door. Turning back to his attention at the professor he held up his cage for the pygmy puffs and gave her a nervous look. He really didn't know what to say. How do I explain this clearly...

"I'm Cameron Karsten, and I'm a first year here. And yeah, I guess I had a liking to animals since I was a child." He glanced to the orange, white, and green pygmy puffs. "I have a question too. My pygmy puffs, I don't know what to feed 'em! The only thing I have seen one eat was a spider."

She probably knew the answer to the question. Professor Morgan was a professor.
