Jack shuffled into the room and sat at the front "Professor" he greeted Dumont with a small grin as he remembered their food fight.

Sliding quietly into the classroom, Jake noted who was already there and dang near panicked. Trying to tone down the limp, Jake went ahead and grabbed a textbook, sitting down at the very back of the classroom, staring out of the window, a large bruise in the shape of a hand just visible on his neck. He was petrified.

Tobi walked into class with slight trepiditation. With all the professors, (read Ashby,Bunbury and KraziKazi) losing their marbles, he wondered if someone hadn't possibly spiked the staff room coffee pot he was in for another... unique lesson.

All the same, he took up a textbook, smiled politely to the professor and said, "Good day sir," before taking a seat at the back of the class.

If he had to make a run for it, he wanted to be close to the door.

Barry entered the class room and took a text book and took a seat next to Jake "I`ll try to help" he said with a smile " as a fourth year".

Miles lazily walked in, he was quite early to be honest, and he didn't really want to look like a nerd. So he just walked in casually, his bag slunked on his shoulder, and grabbed a textbook. "Hey Professor." He smiled at him and took a seat that the front. He loooooooooved Muggle Studies.

Herminny nonchalantly walked into the classroom and grabbed a textbook like the teacher told her to took a seat in the middle of the classroom.

Jack turned and grinned at Jake "Feeling alright?" he asked with a smirk

"Yea, yea, protect the baby" Jack laughed and turned back to the front ignoring Jake and Barry.

Nathaniel strolled into his favorite class. He grabbed a book and found a seat in the back and sat down. He really wish that Mariel's father would let her take this class. He sighed to himself opened the book

Antonio looked around and saw that there weren't that many students in the classroom yet, he was hoping for a few more. "We're gonna start in a little bit," he explained. "I want to try and see some more people show up before we get going. Everyone, just relax and take a look through the materials, if you like. If anyone wants any bubblegum, that's good, too, I can give you some." With that, Antonio popped a huge pink bubble.

"Why," Aggie asked walking up behind Tobi and tapping him on the top of his curly head. "Do you always hog the desk?" She dropped her book bag near her feet wondering if Sho was around to sit with instead. The boy never seemed to be in classes (and he was nicer at teaching her about muggle things then Tobi was). "Move over Desk Hog," she instructed as she tried to slide into the desk chair next to him.

Jack looked up at Dumont "Gum?" he asked suddenly distracted "Gum is goooood" he grinned, he'd done well, he'd stopped himself from saying 'Chuddy' which he was used to saying, he was sure Dumont wouldn't know what it was anyway.

Herminny gave the Muggle Studies teacher a look, if she knew class was not gonna start on time she would have arrived later. Then Herminny just sighed and opened up her textbook to prepare for class whenever the class would finally start.

I knew it! I knew it! Tobi thought in a wild panic. They're drinking crazy coffee in the staff room!

Tobi jerked as Aggie came to sit with him. He never quite got used to her sudden appearances, even if he liked them. "Because you weren't here last time. I thought the first class scared you off, now shh." He scooted his bum over to make room for Aggie.

Eyeing Jack and despising him, Jake fought back tears and looked down at his book, giving a small smile to Barry. He'd need a little protection, just in case...

Opening up the textbook, Jake stared at the words, trying to convince himself he was really reading, but his mind was totally blank. He had nothing. Sighing and closing the book, Jake stared up at Dumont, waiting.

"Nope - I am not that easily scared. I thought you learned that by now." She pushed his book over and then when he pushed it back gave up and merely dropped her own book on top of his. "I was merely busy preparing a paper for a more important class. Don't shh! me," she said poking him. This was a very common argument for the two of them.
POP!

Aggie's head snapped around completely ignoring Tobi and his overly scattered stuff on their shared desktop as well as their regularly scheduled argument. A rather large goofy smile became plastered upon her face at seeing Dumont's pink tongue dart between his lips as he regathered up his popped chewing gum. In fact, a small giggle escaped Aggie as she watched.

Herminny overheard everything Tobi was saying and she thought the sme thing except she had the idea the teachers were being attacked by someone or something cause thats what she overheard her head of house saying happened to her and then they are left in a crazy state. She did not however think this was the case with Kazmirez, he was old kook crazy, not crazy, crazy her opinion.

"Uh sure professer, I`d love gum?" he said as a question. But he wondered what was wrong. Professer was never like this, sure he was most lenient but he this leinient. He glanced around the class looking if someone concured with him and it LOOKED like Tobi did. But that could just be him looking at someone else.

Clifford quickly snuck into the classroom with an apologetic glance at Professor DUmont, who for some reason was blowing.. pink bubbles. Erm. Okay.

"Sorry, Sir.. nature called." He mumbled, noticing a lot of people were here already. Oops. Retrieving a textbook, the Prefect plonked himself down behind the nearest desk.

Freya took a seat in the middle of the room, after taking a textbook for herself and saying, "Good afternoon." to the professor. 'Oh great...'. She sighed as she sat down and took out a quill and notepad, preparing herself for the lecture. Freya was more interested in muggle objects then what it seemed the class would be going over today. She felt the side of her cloak and made sure that her wand was still there, always ready.

William sat down in the middle of the group of tables and crossed his legs over each other to get more comfortable as he took out his books and quill. He grinned sheepishly at the professor, eyes roaming over the mans face. What was it with all these professors acting weird he mused, glancing at the gum, a frown now appearing on his face before shaking the thought off.

Abby walks in the classroom just in time to see Professor Dumont blow and pop a huge ping bubble. "It's okay to chew gum in class?" Things are sure a lot looser here at Hogwarts than they were at Barrows. I got detention for chewing bubblegum in class.

Jack smirked as he felt the hate radiate out of Jake

Jack turned to look Barry and shrugged, Jack was happy, Dumont was fun now, Jack grinned as he turned back to the front.

Antonio looked around the room again. "Okay, it looks like we have a few more people here," he said. "We'll go ahead and get started, but this lesson is probably gonna go fairly slowly, so others can join in as they see fit. And I will tell you all that this and the two lessons before this are all going to work together, you will need them in order to complete the final I have planned for you. If anyone missed those lessons, be sure and review them before going on to that point. Just for your own help," he said. "Otherwise you are gonna get lost - and I mean that literally." He laughed at his own joke.

"So, as a lot of you know, I add the points in for answers later, not the same day usually, so don't worry about that. It's just easier for me to do it that way, I've found. I don't like interruptions in my class, but questions and contributions are always welcome, of course. So, with all this in mind, I will tell you all that we are going to be discussing muggle cultural events, and that the workbook is mainly for reference and homework. I want to get a good discussion going here in class about what kinds of cultural events muggles like. Who knows what some of these are? And I'd really appreciate it if you could all just say one event at a time, as it gives others a chance to earn points, as well. Just wait a little before answering again, if you could. I know you're all just bursting with excitement." He smirked.

Dominic entered the muggle studies classroom in tune with the popping of a large pink bubble from the Professor. It was true he had never thought Dumont to be an entirely strict teacher; that was proven by his nonchalant persona with his sonnet reading. But this was just quite . . . laid back for him.

Slipping into a seat in the second row by the window, the fifth year tilted his head in astonishment still, wondering what this lesson would prove to bring. He hadn't even noticed the stack of textbooks on the desk in the front of the room; not that he would have read it anyway . . .
