Nathaniel looked up at Mr.Masterson and smiled. He didn't know what was going on with those other kids and he didn't want to know. And there was that realllly bad pain again. Nathaniel clenched his teeth together. Well at least the bed was softer than that board. "Thank you so much." he said looking at the grounds keeper. "I will for sure come visit you once I get all this mess straightened up.".

Freya stared at what Masterson said, 'In no time? How about not at all...' She took a seat next to Nathaniel's bed, taking out his backpack from her bag as she did so and draped the straps over the bed post. "Welcome back." Freya said as she looked around for the healer, she thought she had permission to stay, the woman was aware of her being there.

"So,what were your plans for the day Freya?"Nathaniel asked her. "Also, My cat needs to be fed. I need to find Via or someone in my house." he said getting his backpack for a snack bar.

Freya's jaw dropped, "I'm here because you wanted company, not so that I would be your maid." She rolled her eyes and laughed a little. "I can send a letter. Where would your cat be?" She didn't have a clue as to where the cats of the school were kept, usually in the common rooms, Freya assumed anyway. "My plans are pretty much shot now. I was going to read though...and I told you not to move." She reached over and snatched a bar before Nathaniel could, then placed it on his bed.

"Did I ask you if you would do it? No ma'am.I simply said he needed to be fed. He's my responsibility and I have to take care of him. I mean if you'd like I'll walk up there and do it!" he said grinning. "I just moved my arms was all. You just said you weren't my maid. I'm hungry.". Thinking about where Vincent would be Nathaniel spoke again "I'm pretty sure Vincent is in the common room."

'Then why bother bringing it up in the first place?' She couldn't help herself, Freya treated her eyes to a nice roll. "You shouldn't move much at all." Freya said as she snatched the bag away and hung it on the bed again. "I'll try and find, Via..." She told Nathaniel simply as she actually tore open the snack bar and handed it out to him. "How long do you suppose you'll be in here for?" One day, two? Who knows, depending on the severity of the break or fracture he may be here longer, but healers had their ways.

"Freya, you know what? I think you'll be a great mother when you have kids." he said with a laugh and a grin. "Vincent can wait. We will see what the healer says before we take care of him. If he gets hungry enough he'll go hunting." he said taking the bar. "No idea how long I'll be here. Where is that healer anyway?"

She gave, Nathaniel an odd look and then searched through her own bag for her mirror. "Thanks." Freya said almost blankly as she examined her teeth, she hadn't brushed since earlier that morning and it was afternoon now. "Hopefully he won't start hunting the school owls or anything." 'Gosh that would be a mess...birds and cats everywhere.' "I'm sure she's got other patients, Nathaniel. Just be patient...erm, take it easy and try to relax."

"What don't want kids?" he asked as he watch her check her teeth. That was odd. What's up with that? he thought."Oh,he knows better than to go after the owls. He listens fairly well. You'll have to meet him. I doubt they're allowed in here." he said with a sigh. Vincent was Nates new buddy. They had bonded a lot over the summer. Plus, Vincent acted like he knew exactly what Nathaniel was talking about when he talked to the cat. "Easy for you to say. You're not the one with a snapped leg and messed up back" he said as he stuck out his tongue.

"It's not that I don't. I just don't think about it." Freya said as she snapped her mirror shut and placed it back into her bag. 'I want to brush my teeth...' "That's good, because if he went after my owl he'd be in big trouble. You just got your cat I'm guessing?" She shook her head a little at Nathaniel's last comment, "Well, I did mess my back up over the summer, it's still healing unfortunately."

"Freya you can brush your teeth if you want." he said has she shut her mirror. It was obvious that she was looking at them for that reason. "I managed to do that at least this morning." he said smiling and showing his perfect teeth. "Well,I think about kids. I'm always thinking about the future." he said wishing he could draw in his sketch pad but he knew Freya would NOT let that happen."It sure is hot in here." he said with a sigh. He hated wearing a shirt for some reason. He tugged at his shirt ever so slightly. "And did I not tell you to come up here?"

She glared at him for a moment, "Is it that obvious?" Her teeth weren't dirty, Freya just always liked to have a nice clean mouth. "I brush my teeth at least five times a day." At Nathaniel's next statement, Freya gave a sigh, "I think about the future too. But I'm just all confused about what I want to do at the moment." Having hobbies was good, but when you have too many, things tend to become overly complicated. Freya tore out a piece of parchment from her notepad and folded it into a 'fan', taking out her wand she charmed the paper so that it would sweep a nice breeze on the injured Nathaniel. "Better?" Freya asked as she watched the fan go back and forth, she then took out her potions book and flipped through a few pages until finding something interesting.

"You've been checking your appearance way more this term than last. What's with that?" he asked knowing that she would brush it off. Nathaniel moved his hair out of his eyes. He quickly with pain grabbed his backpack and took his contact case and glasses out. "I know what I want for the future" he said as he took his contacts out and put them in their case. He then put them back in his bag and hung it up again. Putting on his glasses again "Thanks for the fan. I just don't like wearing a t-shirt and I'm used to being at home and not having to wear one.". He watched as she took her book out. "I'm sorry that you're bored..."

Freya looked up from her book, "What's wrong if I do it a bit more often? I see nothing wrong with it." 'Almost said, 'It's part of being a grown up...nah.' She flipped a few pages, glaring at him again as he snatched his bag. "And I'm not bored. I enjoy reading, I am guessing you do not? It's all I would ever do to enjoy myself when I was younger." True, she did at times run off in the woods with her books and hide out for hours on end.

"Nothing is wrong with it. I just didn't think you cared." he didn't mean that in a mean way."Don't take that the wrong way. Please" he moved his hand next to hers. He knew better to touch her and he wasn't trying to hit on her. Just showing that he cared about her."I love reading. Just look in my backpack if you don't believe me." there were loads of books in there from the muggle world and from the wizarding world.Not to mention his snack bars,robes,skateboard strapped to the outside,his hat and whatever else was thrown in there.

"I don't-care." Freya said with a bit of a pause. 'Well, not much, but...' She shook her head. "I've had to shapen up too. So I can't be all dumpy and uncaring so much anymore. It's bound to help me in the professional world too." Freya flicked Nathaniels hand with her nail, laughing slightly. "Aww, someone cares about what happens." She rolled her eyes a little then glanced at his bag. "Hmm, I don't think I want to search through that thing." She brought her eyes to her book again, 'Dirty guy stuff in there, yuck. Probably all covered in dust and dirt. They never wash anything unless you force them too.' Looking around the room she wondered where the healer was. It would be good to get Nathaniel up and moving around again on his own two feet.

"If you say so Freya."Nathaniel rolled his eyes. Whatever she said."You weren't 'dumpy' last term." he said scratching his head. He put his hair back in place and said "I do care. You should know that by now."."And why don't you want to look in my bag? Think I'm a dirty little bugger? Hmm?"

She sighed again, "Well, I was last year. Guess you didn't notice that I wore tops that were two sizes too large." There wasn't much she could do about the robes, having had them custom made. 'Maybe that's why I looked so trim coming back this year, having properly fitting clothes always slims a person down.' "You shouldn't care. Not so much anyway, that's my problem." Freya said to Nathaniel after scribbling a few things in her book. "And yes, boys are usually dirty. I'm not saying all, but quite a few. Besides, I don't know what surprises you've got in your bag. Would you willingly stick your arm inside my own side bag? I doubt it." In any case, he'd probably fall in.

Nathaniel yawned. He didn't know why he was so tired. "Okay Freya." he wasn't in the mood to fight about anything. "Why shouldn't I care?" he was just like that. He couldn't help but worry about someone and what not.He rolled his eyes "I'm clean. I mean I like dirt and whatever but I don't like my things being dirty. I take care of my things.". He took his glasses off and laid them on his chest and closed his eyes.

"Because you don't have to." Freya said in response to the boys first question. "Alright, if you say so." She said as she quietly flipped through some more pages of her book. Seeing that Nathaniel had taken off his glasses, Freya reached out to grab them and placed them on the sidetable. "You probably should go to sleep." Freya agreed as she watched his eyes close. She turned to the back of her book and made a few side notes, making herself comfortable in her chair with her feet elevated on another seat nearby.

"Why shouldn't I have to?" he asked her. Of course he had to worry.It's not like his parents cared. His mom didn't even see him over break and his father is off with some new woman. Father didn't even do magic. The only ones that really cared where his grandparents,aunt and uncle. He never really saw them that much.He could hardly see her face with glasses off. His eyes started to close his eyes "I don't know why I'm so tired.It's not really making the situation better though.If I go to sleep what are you going to do?"

Freya ignored his first question this time, "Your body has been through a lot of stress today. Breaks and fractures, possible strain, and you probably used half of your energy just to climb the tree that started all these problems. You need to rest so that you can heal properly, no sense in being exhausted on top of bruised and battered." She took out a second quill and notepad and wrote a few sentences. "If you go to sleep I'll stick around here for a while and read my book until the healer has seen to you." Freya said as straight to the point as possible.

Nathaniel ran his hand through his shaggy black hair "I guess so. Wouldn't hurt to sleep for a little while." he said wishing he could lay on his stomach. "I don't like being cooped up and not being outside. It sucks a lot.". He looked at her writing "What are you writing anywa..." he had trailed off and fallen asleep.

Freya chuckled a little bit at how quickly Nathaniel had fallen asleep. She gave a quiet sigh and continued to write her notes, 'Nothing that concerns you...'
