Another term's gone by. And surprusingly, Willow's quite happy for this; the girl was... excited (for lack of a better word) to go home. In truth, the fourth year was rather exhausted of the same monotonous routine everyday. Not to mention that after all the homework she had done, Ravenclaw had ended up in last place. How wonderful, the girlt thought sarcastically.
Well, at least they had Quidditch. A small --but somehow both smug and bright-- smile curled on her lips at this.
Her long hair, carefully tied in a ponytail, danced behind her as the girl walked towards the practically emtpy Ravenclaw table. Quickly taking seat around the middle of it, she started to help herself with food--mashed potatoes and roast. Her favourites.

Elizabeth made her way into the Great Hall for the end-of-term feast with mixed feelings. They had won the Quidditch Cup again, but had ended up in last place for the House cup. And she felt partially responsible for that, as prefect. But there wasn't much she could do about it now, so she determined to have fun celebrating the end of term.
Running her fingers through her hair, slightly tousling it, she made her way over to the Ravenclaw table, where so far she only saw Willow and Barry. Taking a seat not far from Willow, she nodded at her in greeting, before reaching over and filling her plate with food. "So, are you happy it's all over? For at least another term," she said conversationally before taking a bite.

Not paying the least attention to her surroundings --because that wasn't particularly important-- the girl ate her meal peacefully by herself in the seat she had occupied. Eating by herself was really rather peacefully.
Or at least she had been by herself. So much for peace and quite.
With the most polite expression she was able to put on her face, the fourth year looked up from her food to the Ravenclaw prefect whom had just joined her. "Surprisingly so, yes," allowed Willow for a second, looking thoughtful, before shrugging it off and turning back to the blonde girl before her, "I think I'm in a need of a break from all this," said the rather short brunette, referring to the school, "How about you?"

Another year, another term. Ryan was happy this term was over, to be perfectly honest. He had kept himself locked up in his room studying all the time that the only thing he ever really made any extra time for was quidditch. Luckily, it had paid off, what with his team winning the quidditch cup for the second year in a row and all.
He eyed the food anxiously awaiting the speech from the Headmistress who looked.....much more distraught than usual. Uh oh. Something was up.

Mariska walked into the great hall alone, her gaze focused strictly ahead of her and on the Ravenclaw table. She forced herself to not even look in the direction of either the Slytherin or Hufflepuff tables, and she breathed a sigh of relief as she saw Elizabeth. At least one person was there who didn't know...and that was a very good thing. " Hello, Elizabeth," She said quietly, sitting down next to her. " How are you?" She asked, smiling only a bit as she spoke.

Elizabeth smiled to try and make Willow feel a little more relaxed as she coudl tell the brunette wasn't entirely happy at someone speaking to her. As the question was then turned back to her, she nodded. "A break would be good. Some time without all the mystery that surrounded this term," she said, breaking off a tiny piece of her bread. When she finished speaking, she popped the piece in her mouth, letting her fellow beater know it was okay if she didn't want to talk. Quote:

Rachel couldn't believe the term was almost over already. She walked numbly over to the Ravenclaw table, running the memories in her head. Toshi, Kairi, Livvy, Jenn, Rian, Jake... All the new people in her life. As she sat down, her eyes refocused and she stared at all the food. Wow! Grinning happily, she piled everything in sight onto her plate and waited for her friends to arrive. And Toshi... I need to see him.

Rachel beamed as she saw Toshi and hugged him tightly. "Hey Toshi! Um, I'm not really sure yet..." she said, biting her lip. Her eyes went dark for a moment and her expression became unreadable and closed, which was a sign that something was wrong. Just don't think about it Rach, it'll only make you feel bad.

Hesitating just outside the Great hall, where her last feast was starting, Ari sighed, closing her eyes and practicing the very thing she needed to practice at that moment; patience. her bag was meowing very loudly - and quite rudely if she were to be honest - and she knew she needed to get rid of her packages very soon. But first she needed a drink, and perhaps some food before the reality really set in.
Taking a deep breath, she plastered on a fake smile and walked in, looking at the staff table to see if the object of her worries was there. Sure enough she was. She wasn't ready to say good bye yet. Stopping at her favorite spot at the Ravenclaw table, she sighed again and gently lay the bag on the spot beside her, glaring at those who would dare question her weird bag setting. Reaching for her glass, she almost accio'd the pitcher of pumpkin juice to her before remembering her manners and taking it from the table herself.
Ginger curled up under her seat and quickly fell asleep; back to normal as if she hadn't spent the last few weeks in a hut tending to her young. At that a warm smile crept up on her face and she couldn't help but bend down and give her cat a friendly pet. The hard part would come soon enough, but for right now she was hungry and thirsty for gossip.
