Camira walked halfway through the corridor before sliding down the wall and sitting on the cold floor. She just needed to be somewhere quiet after all that drama. She sighed. Why did things in her life go so terribly wrong. Gah, and she lost 10 points for Slytherin. She'd get them back, of course, but still. What was up with the staff this term. She'd done far worse and never lost points before.

Terry inched along the cobbled floor, his gaze roving the corridor for any sign of his girlfriend. Gawd, of all places, this would probably be the last that he'd even have thought of looking for. Plus, he wasn't too sure he even wanted her hanging about a place like this in the first place.

Next time, he should just superglue himself to her hands and just tag around everywhere with her. Although that might prove to be a problem when she needed a moment to herself. Like in the loo.

Shoving his hands into his jeans pockets, he continued to pace along the corridor, shaking his hair out of his eyes. Maybe she was someplace else? Like...erm. The library? Terry snorted. Okay, maybe he should look somewhere more realistic. Like the Quidditch pitch. Ahem.

Evolette brushed her hair off of her shoulder as she hurried along the corridor headed straight for the Slytherin Common Room. She couldn't help but think that Nico knew too much already about this Cale thing and she was not about to let him tell Anna.

She walked past him before she noticed who it was. Coming to an abrupt halt, she turned quickly, and looked up at him, a smile inching across her face. "Terry!" she squealed. Just the boy she needed. "Where have you been?"

She tucked her hair behind her ear in a most distracted manner, she was suddenly nervous about how he would take what she needed to tell him.

Terry thought he heard footsteps fast approaching him, but dismissed them. This was a corridor, people walked along here.

Her scent really should have alerted him. A figure strode past, then suddenly stopped right in front of him, and he back-pedalled quick, digging his trainers into the cobbles.

'EVEE,' Terry exclaimed, enveloping her in a quick bear hug, 'Where've I been? Where've you been?! I was looking for you freaking everywhere,' Sighing dramatically, he quirked a smie at her, one corner of his mouth rising higher, 'I was thinking about supergluing myself to you at this rate, that way I wouldn't end up losing you all the time,' Terry joked, even as his eyes picked up on the slightly nervous air around her. Was something wrong? He wasn't sure whether to ask her outright. He'd trust her to tell him in her own time.

Evolette chuckled. Superglue? That would NOT be the best idea for what she was currently trying to pull off. But, she didn't want him to think that she wouldn't want to be superglued to him, that would kind of be.... fun. Cough.

"I was outside." She continued quickly, clearing her throat. "And, yes, but wouldn't that pose a problem with the use of our hands?" she asked, smirking as she ran her fingertips across his arm. Stupid different houses. Evolette had a feeling that they were going to be losing track of eachother a lot.

"What have you been up to?" She asked, twirling her hair around her finger. As long as he told her and asked her the same question, she would be able to ease into this conversation, and not have to say "Guess what! I'm Cale Newell's fake girlfriend!"

Eeh.

'Outside?' Terry echoed, blinking. And here he'd been like a moron searching the whole castle. Just went to show exactly how in touch with her he was. Well...atleast he'd been thinking of heading to the Quidditch pitch next?

'I never said we'd be supergluing both our hands, love, only one,' Terry continued innocently, but then he smirked suddenly, unable to resist, 'Which would leave the other for...other erm, activities.'

'Me? Not much, I've been moping around in the Gryffindor common room, truth be told. I still haven't gotten over the fact that you three are in Slytherin. Dude, this place already hates me.' He rolled his eyes, but then smiled crookedly, letting her know he was only kidding. Partially. Not being able to see them whenever he wanted to was pretty rubbish. Maybe their classes timetables'd be better? 'Anyway, enough about me. You? How're you finding your lessons?'

"Yeah, outside." She repeated, "You know, that place with trees and animals?" she added in a slightly sarcastic tone. She arched an eyebrow at him at his next comment, but decided to keep her mouth shut. They had to remember that now that they were in school, they needed to turn it down a notch. Sadly enough.

"Aww." She cooed, producing a pout out of nowhere. "Its not the same without you." she added, hoping to make him feel better. "Although you do miss a lot of flirting." Suddenly realizing how that would sound to him, she gasped, "I mean- Hugo flirting. Flirting with Hugo. Not me flirting with him- but him flirting with others." Quite smooth.

She couldn't take it any longer. "I have something to tell you." she added quickly, completely disregarding his last question in her haste, "But first, promise me that you will keep an open mind."

Heh, he'd taken her point though. Maybe he needed to spend some more time out in the fresh air, it didn't help him being cooped in her all the time.

Terry fought to keep his face straight, lips pressed tightly with the effort as he raised an eyebrow in amusement. In the end, he couldn't hold his breath in much longer, gasping out, 'Evee, haha, it's okay, really,' Reaching out, his hands grasped her shoulders lightly, turning her fully towards him, holding her gaze seriously, 'I trust you completely, m'kay.' He kissed her quickly on her cheek, then smirked, 'But tell me, how's he been doing? Bet he'd got girls falling all over themselves for him, heh?'

He stilled slightly at her next words, not breaking eye-contact as his gaze searched her curiously. He shrugged, trying to lighten the situation. 'Sure, I promise. But why, what's up?'

"You mean clouds?" she asked, amused. "Yes dear, clouds too. But only if you are a very good boy." she added, using the sweet voice that she reserved for Sylvia.

Feeling her cheeks burn in slight embarrassment, she shook her head, how could she be such an ice queen to others, but as soon as he comes along, she melts like butter? It was so not cool the way he could change her mood. Well, it actually was.

She smiled, trying to regain her composure, which proved difficult after he kissed her cheek. "You should have seen it." she started, in slight awe. This girl came over, she had to be like, what a first year, and she started flirting with him! And you remember that girl from the train? Paige? She was flirting with him too. I think he was getting a little overwhelmed, because he declared himself to be all mine, and that is an obvious cry for help." The words flew out of her mouth like she was singing a song of Hugo's praise. Upon realizing it, she stopped abruptly and chuckled.

"Er. You know the Male Prefect for Gryffindor house?" she asked, thinking maybe that Terry had already met Cale."Well. I am sort of pretending to be his girlfriend." she added, lowering her voice to keep sure no one else heard.

'Clouds?' Terry repeated airily, looking in pretend awe, 'Is that what they're called nowadays then? Gee, I really have been away from the outdoors for a long time, haven't I?' He raised an eyebrow, smiling innocently, 'But I haven't been a naughty boy for the past week or so, surely I deserve a reward for that?' Haha, he sure did. -eyebrows-

He wrapped an arm around her should, pulling her to his side as he started a slow walk along the corridor, 'A first year?' Terry said incredulously, wrinkling his nose slightly, 'Isn't that a little...I dunno, young?' Okay, so maybe that hadn't stopped him and Hugo from chasing girls but meh, it still seemed weird for a first girl to be flirting with a fourth year. 'Hmm, I remember Paige too, I'm guessing she got sorted into Slytherin then, too? No surprises there,' Terry chuckled, 'Although I'm finding Hugo and being overwhelmed by girls a little hard to believe. Are you sure that's what happened?'

'The male prefect? For Gryffindor? Cale, you mean? The one with the insane curly head? Sure I know him, only in passing though,' Everyone knew him, he was the prefect for crying out loud. Terry hadn't hung out with him much though, he was a good guy though. Seemed to trip over a lot, but apart from that, he wasn't too bad. And his stupid thoughts nearly made him miss what Evee said next.

He froze mid-stride in the middle of the corridor, his jaw falling open, 'You WHAT?' Terry yelped, trying to keep from hyperventilating ...and failing miserably. He whipped his arm back, narrowing his eyes suspiciously, 'And what exactly do you mean by the fact that you're pretending to be his girlfriend?' He crossed his arms in annoyance over his chest, surveying her darkly, 'You either are, or you aren't, which is it? There's no two ways about it.'

Ehhh. Evolette wanted to run into the safety of the common room where Terry could not follow her with his angry glare. She grabbed his arm when he pulled it away. "Now, don't jump to conclusions. You did promise that you would keep an open mind remember?" she asked quickly, "Let me explain myself before you write us off."

She took a deep breath, preparing to tell him EVERYTHING. Not forgetting a single detail. "You must have heard their huge break up." she started, chewing on her lips, "I heard it and I was all the way over at the Slytherin table."

Reaching out for her hair she continued, "Long story short, Cale's ex- Anna kissed the Hufflepuff prefect right infront of him, and he was really upset, so I was talking to him, trying to prevent a drama queen moment, and I told him to fight fire with fire, and he just asked me to help him."

"He knows that you are my boyfriend, and I'm sure he is waiting for you to come swinging at him, "But, he is my friend, and I sort of screwed him over a little, so I want to help him."

She gazed at him steadily, starting to feel the exact same way she had in Diagon Alley. Please understand.

'To heck with not jumping to conclusions,' Terry growled, scowling at the stone wall opposite him, refusing to uncross his arms from over his body. 'See? Now this is why I don't want to you surrounded by so many guys 24/7, something turns up always, one way or the other,'

Huffing to himself, he frowned, running his hands through his dark hair, 'And how're we meant to pull this off, huh? Hugo for one will never let me live this down. It was a miracle we even got back together. He's going to wet himself with laughter once he finds out we've 'broken up' again,' Terry muttered darkly, he didn't even want to think about Hugo's reaction, 'And if we're letting him in on the secret, I'm leaving you with the duty of doing it, I'm not going anywhere within a mile's radius of him with the news,'

'I personally don't get it. You picked the absolute worst time to suddenly go all motherly on me and then want to go help a friend out. I don't even know Cale that well, how do I know he's not going to start making advances on you all dodgily behind my back?' Terry pouted moodily, sounding put out. 'And then you might not even know the difference between a play and reality, and I'll just have to stand there and not be able to do anything.' Argh, the very idea of thinking about such a thing was freaking him out completely.

Evolette pouted, he had promised that he would keep an open mind! That was the whole reason that she had made him promise that! "What would you prefer Terry? That I go to school in a nun convent? Hmm?" she asked, raising an eyebrow, "Then you wouldnt be able to see me either."

This wasn't fair. There had been PLENTY of boys who had flirted with her when he wasn't around, and did she "fall prey" to them? No. She turned them down because she wanted him to be happy.

"The only thing that Hugo knows is that we had a summer fling and I left." she continued, stressing the "we" but not the "I", "He doesn't know we're together, no one really does, because we havent been together to show anyone that we are together. What Hugo doesnt know will work to our advantage."

Motherly? She was going soft. Ehhh. This was bound to happen eventually. She sighed, walking away from him and leaning against the wall, "You want to know the truth then?" she asked, crossing her arms, "Before I knew you were coming back, I flirted with Cale. Right in front of Anna. I laid it on thick because I knew she was one of the jealous types. But then, the more I talked to him, the more I felt like he could make a good friend, and I sort of felt bad for causing him so much strife."

She rolled her eyes in spite of herself. When had she gotten to soft? "They had a HUGE fight, and even though he denies it, I don't think they would have had it if it weren't for me."

Looking over at him, her expression changed slightly, "I just thought maybe that by helping him with his relationship problem- if someone would have helped us..." she trailed off, "I don't know. I guess this whole thing was stupid. Maybe I should just tell Cale that it is over with."

Damn, she was right. As much as he hated to admit it. 'Even a nun convent would be better than this.' He grumbled, but then a picture of Evee in a nun's robes randomly floated into his mind and he had to press his lips hard together to not bubble out into laughter right there and then. Evee wouldn't last even two minutes out in a convent all alone.

JEEZ. Trust Evee to lay the charms on a guy who already had a girlfriend, just for the fun of it. But who was he to talk? As if he hadn't already done the same. -cough-

Argh, this really was all planned too well out. Plus, he was beginning to feel guilty. Evee actually wanted to help a guy out. Without any personal gain for herself. He almost wouldn't believe the situation.

Finally, he threw his arms up in annoyance, then unwillingly gave in, though his voice was low, intent and firm when he spoke, 'FINE. We're doing things your way this round. We're keeping things quiet around Hugo, Miles, everyone. You go help stupid Cale with his girlfriend problems.' He stepped closer towards her, leaning down over her as he brushed his lips lightly against hers, 'I'll keep quiet. And then when this whole thing's blown over, I want you back, and then we can go make it official to everyone else if that's what you want. Is that clear?'

"Crystal." she replied, a feeling of relief rushing over her when he finally agreed to let her do this. "Thank you!" she added, wrapping her arms around his neck and giving him a hug.

When she pulled away, she pushed his hair out of his eyes, after all the messing around with it that he had done, he had left it quite disheveled. "You are still my boyfriend. That doesn't change." she continued on his last comment. "We just have to keep it a secret for a few weeks. It could be fun though, don't you think?" she asked, wagging her eyebrows.

Punz was....wandering. Just wandering. She needed a break from homework and a break from her own housemates and maybe just a nice, quiet spot to think. After all, putting together a Quidditch roster takes a lot of brainpower....especially for a blonde like her.

She meandered through the dungeon corridor, not really going anywhere in particular and certainly not toward the Slytherin common room, maybe looking for a good corner to take a seat and doodle in her notebook...

Antwone trotted through the dungeon corridor with a chair under his arm. His charms homework required him to use the levitation charm practically. He thought the dungeon would be a good place because no one came down here but Slytherins and students going to potions class.

Cautiously, Antwone set his chair down by a window as he withdrew his wand. He pointed his beech wood directly at the chair, concentrating very hard, thinking the words very distinctly in his head: Wingardium Leviosa. He raised his fist above his head, stuck his wand arm out and spoke:

"WINGARRRDUM LEVOSA!"

Nothing happened.

He had concentrated so hard though, what could have happen? He pictured in his mind the chair floating around his head but it hadn't moved at all. Again he set himself straight onto the chair and shouted:

"WIDARDIUMA LEVIOSA!"

Nothing still.

Something was wrong but he couldn't figure out what. This was such a simple charm and he knew it. His concentration was perfect, he knew that much. He decided then that it was his annunciation. He whispered, "Wingardium Leviosa" and the chair wobbled. There! Antwone straightened himself up again.

"Wingardium Leviosa!"

The chair didn't budge.

"Argh!"

He had done everything right. He said the words exactly and he was thinking ... oh he was thinking too much about the annunciation and not enough on the visual. This time he would get it right.

He straightened himself out one last time. The young Ravenclaw looked directly towards the chair, his brow was sweating. He thought the words over and over, visualized the chair hovering around the quiet dungeon. Then, before he even realized, his wand was swishing and flicking, his visual was happening in his mind as though it were really happening and somewhere distantly he could hear himself saying the words only realize the truth. He was doing all those things! His had was swishing and flicking and he was pronouncing the words correctly, the chair was twirling around his head!

"Yipee!"

He said and the chair plopped down immediately as he cheered.

Rapunzel had just settled into a corner to compare her notes regarding Quidditch when she heard somebody shouting charms.

She blinked and poked her head around the corner, shocked to see a familiar Ravenclaw levitating a chair! Which, oddly enough, came plopping down right then and there.

She chuckled, knowing he couldn't hear her, and poked her wand around the corner too.

"Windgardium Leviosa," Punz whispered, swishing and flicking her wand at the chair like an expert. She'd used this charm before and knew it would work - after all, that was one of her best subjects.

Too bad he's not sitting in the chair, she thought as it started to rise from the floor. But maybe he'll think it's just hovering on its own! HAHA!

Antwone continued cheering until he realized the chair was hovering on its own. He looked at it closely, dumbfounded as ever. The Ravenclaw boy looked down to his beech wand, wondering if he was doing this without realizing. Back and forth he looked to the wand to the chair still utterly shocked.

"I'm amazing ..." he whispered, wiping the fog out of his glasses. He proceeded to poke the chair.

Oh man....he believed it! Rapunzel's wand hand trembled a little, she was starting to laugh. And it was very hard to keep her sniggering silent.

The chair reflected Punzel's laughter as it started swirling in the air, then bumping the walls, back and forth, back and forth as Rapunzel giggled. He was taking off his glasses to look closer! HA!

She couldn't hold her giggles in much longer...and one little high-pitched snort did escape her mouth, echoing down the stone dungeon corridor...

Just as his finger was about to connect to the chair it began to hit off the walls.

"What the? ..." he trailed off as the chair hit his glasses and knock them off. "Oh no ..."

He started to crawl around for his glasses when the chair hit him again. This time he fell on his bottom, his head hurting. There was an echo going through the halls ... a snicker, or a giggle. He couldn't really tell, perhaps he was going mad.

Still giggling silently, Rapunzel's sides were starting to hurt when she heard a few thuds just down the hall.

She poked her head around the corner and gasped, realizing that the chair had gone erratic when she'd started laughing. "Oh no!" Punz whispered, waving her wand so the chair landed safely (and slowly) on the floor.

"I'm so sorry," she added, hurrying down the corridor towards the boy. He seemed to be searching for something there on the floor- his glasses? Punz spotted the spectacles and offered them to him. "Really sorry about that...."

Things were fuzzy to Antwone. There was though, a girl to his side. Although out of focus he could tell she had blond hair and wore Hufflepuff robes but he couldn't distinguish her features.

"Really sorry about that ..." he heard her say, although even her words were a bit distorted. He rubbed the top of his head and felt a little bump there. It took him a while to realized she was holding out his glasses for him. He took them straight away from her giving hand and placed them back on the bridge of his nose. The left eye glass was cracked.

Even with the broken eye glass he could make out the distinct features that belong to ...

"Repunzel Black ... supporter of the Chudley Canons," was all he could remember of her at the moment. His brown eyes met her green. Although she seemed sincerely apologetic she was still holding back more laughter.

Oh no, I've gone and broken his glasses now, Punz's giggliness turned into a frown as the boy put his glasses back on. Didn't she just feel absolutely horrid about that chair....tsk tsk.

"Antwone Thomas?" Rapunzel blinked when he remembered both her name AND her favorite Quidditch team, but she still offered him a hand up from the floor. He remembers me? But I haven't seen him since...a long time....

"How are you? I mean, the chair didn't...didn't attack you, did it?" She asked, trying to cover for both her momentary confusion and amusement at the same time.
