Ariana's office just seems to radiate welcoming. She has her bookshelves along the back wall and a couch on another. Her desk is kept about as organized as she is...in other words not very, but she knows where everything is. There is always tea brewing and a smiling face to help you with whatever you need.
Ariana enjoys answering questions and being a listening ear for the children but she has a high expectation of respect for not only her but others. Please be thoughtful and knock before entering her room. | |

Rian stepped up to the door of Nurse Numel's office and knocked quietly on it. She was a bit nervous, because she didn't know if the Nurse could talk -or would want to- but she was also excited, because she wanted to talk to her a lot.

Rian smiled nervously at the nurse and walked into the office. "Hi. I hope I'm not inturupting anything..." she looked around the room adn saw no one else in there, so she figured that she wasn't. "I'm Sahrina Potter, Rian for short." she said, introducing herself. "I was kind of hoping I could chat for a little with you, but if this isn't a good time, I could possibly come back...?" she smiled more genuine. She didn't know how busy the nurse usually was, but she was hoping that they could ahve time to talk.

"Sure, I'd love some tea," Rian said happily as she took a seat, "Thanks." She smiled and rolled her long sleeves up to her elbows. "I was wondering if you wanted to talk about being a healer," she said a bit shyly. "I was talking to Madame Kohan after I checked out a book from the library about St. Mungos. I told her I wanted to be a healer when I graduate." Rian smiled again and continued, "She suggested talking to you or Miss Trelawney about your experiences..."

Ari poured a couple of cups and pushed the sugar towards the girl in case she wanted any. "I'm glad you came by to talk! Do you have any questions you'd like me to answer?" Ari asked. Answering questions was easier then just randomly starting to talk. She sipped her tea slowly as to not burn herself.

Rian put a small ammount of sugar in the cup of tea Nurse Numel poured for her. "Well, I guess I just want to ask if you like it." she blushed and added, "It's kind of a self-explanitory question, but I'd still like to ask." she shook her head at herself and took a few sips of her tea. "Did you always want to work at Hogwarts? Or did you want to work at St. Mungos?"

Ari had to grin at the question. "Of course I enjoy it. It's a very fulfilling job. I've become very fond of the students and learning more about them." She sipped her tea when Rian continued her questioning.
"Actually, no. I didn't always work here. I was employed at St. Mungo's first but when my Uncle decided to retire he recommended me for the job here and I accepted and have never looked back. I love working here more then I did at Mungo's." She got a big smile on her face much like she did when she ever talked about something close to her heart.
"What is it that interests you in being a healer Miss Rian?" Ari asked the young girl curiously.

Rian smiled as she listened to Nurse Numel answer her questions, then ask one of her own.
"Well, I had read some of my mum's books on it, because that's what she was thinking about doing, but I never really thought I'd like to do it, also." She paused, her smile growing bigger, then continued. "But then my baby sister was born, and I realized how much I liked to take care of her, and how much I liked to help people in general. I reread my mum's books, and I concluded that once I finish my education, I'd love to spend my life helping others." Rian's smile was from one ear to the other as she finished. She chuckled and sipped some tea, waiting to see Ariana's reaction.

"Wanting to help others is an excellent reason to get into healing. If you have a passion for it then it is very fulfilling." Ari told the young girl smiling. It was always nice to see people interested in healing. She finished her tea.
"I have enjoyed this talk and if you have any other questions I'll be happy to answer them, but I think at the moment I should try to get back to work." Ari stood up from behind the desk and moved and patted the girls shoulder, grinning as she went to open the door.

Constantine opened the door to Ariana's office, closing it behind him after he passed through the threshold. "Hmm. Nice office..." he said thoughtfully, walking over to one of the chairs, but then caught sight of the couch. OOOH. Couch...so...comfy looking...
He changed paths and headed for the couch instead. He kicked off his shoes and moved them to the side, and then laid down on the couch and closed his eyes. Mmmm...so nice..

Ari finally made it back to her office and noticed Conny had fallen asleep. It was to cute and Ari hated to move and wake him up so she took a cushion and tossed it at his face and then moved quickly and sat down behind her desk to act as if she hadn't done anything.

Constantine flailed lightly as he felt something soft and cushiony hit him in the face. "What in the world?..." he opened his eyes and looked to what had hit him, his eyes falling on the cushion. He then noticed a presence in the room and looked up to notice Ariana sitting behind her desk, acting innocent and such. "Did you just throw a cushion at me?"

Ari managed to keep a straight face as she poured two cups of tea. "Me? Why would I throw a cushion at you? You looked so calm and peaceful asleep." She bit her lip to try to hide the grin that moved across her face.
Ari picked up the cups and headed over to sit on the couch. "Ok, maybe I did." She confessed still maintaining her innocent composure.
