Tommy skipped on her way to class. She was in a great mood and this class was rather fun last time and she was keen to have another fun class. She walked in. "Hello Professor." She set a box of cinnamon cauldron cakes on her desk, and went to sit in the front row.

Anna walked into the Transfiguration classroom, immediately noticing the professor's smile. She smiled back in return, but then her eyes set upon a folder on the professor's desk. "Ministry Approved Tranfiguration Material." Ewwww, the ministry was taking over this, too? Anna turned towards the desks and rolled her eyes at the thought. It wasn't the professor's fault, but seriously, what else was going to change around here? Ugh.

Kayla sauntered into the classroom with a smirk on her face, oh what a fun day she was having today. The look on Dion's face...priceless. "Hello Professor Pierce, hope you're having a wonderful day" she sang as she made her way to an empty seat.

Reese walked into the classroom and smiled at the Professor."Hello,Professor.How are you?"She noticed the folder on the desk and moaned.You are NOT serious.

Walking into the Transfig room, Ari couldn't help but shiver slightly as she nodded to professor Pierce before moving to sit near the back, hoping no one could notice the dark circles under her eyes or the slight hunch to her shoulders. Sliding her notebook out of her bag, she shook her head to clear it and stretched before looking up, hoping it would be a normal class.

Sabrina walked into the Transfiguration classroom and her eyes were immediately drawn to the red folder. All she saw was 'Ministry Approved' but that was all she needed. The ministry was taking over Transfiguration as well, how.....wonderful. "Hello professor," she said before taking her seat.

Juniper walked slowly into the Transfiguration classroom, not paying much attention as she gave the professor a shy smile and took a seat near the front of the room.

"Hello everyone." Alex said to the room, "I hope you are all doing well this morning. Before we get started I have a question for you all. Do all of you feel that the Ministry should not interfere in Hogwarts business and we should all go back to our beloved, and coed, school?" she asked loudly. "Dont worry, I give you my word that your answers will not leave this room, I simply want a truthful answer."

Reese looked at Professor Pierce.Truthful answer?She can do that.Will not leave this room?That made telling her even better."Yes,Professor,I do think that we should have Hogwarts back.And that the Ministry should stop interfere with our school,"she said."All this school has brought to me were bad memories that will haunt me.Hogwarts...Hogwarts had happy memories I will never forget."There.She spoke truthfully.

Was it getting a little bit hot in here?She looked down at her robes and sighed.She couldn't take them off.Not here.She couldn't let anybody see the bruises on her arm.So,she would have be hot for a whole class.She could do that.No big problem.

Gem skipped in, wearing shoes for once in a good bit, and finding that they didn't slide as much as they would if she were just donning bare feet. It was sort of disappointing. She rather enjoyed skidding and dancing across the floor, twirling out of control, and giggling as loud as her lungs would permit her until she crashed into something or knocked over objects like a bowling ball to pins. However, her shoes had been looking rather lonely, and Henry and Jacqlyn, her pair of lime gelly flats, seemed to be begging to be taken out on a stroll this morning. "You'll get a whole Transfiguration lesson," she cooed down to them, patting their shiny sides with notable affection. Sliding into a seat she placed a sheet or parchment and her textbook onto the desk and withdrew her quill like one might a sword from its sheath, readying for the Lesson like a warrior for battle. As students poured in, and after a few moments the atmosphere settled, Gem waited for the lesson to begin. And it did, with a rather surprising question. Gem, as usual eager bright, and cheery, shot her hand into the air. There, it fluttered down to her side, faltering with her voice. "Well, Professor. Yes. I miss my cousin and my old patch on the rug." That's not all she missed, of course, her golden eyes gleamed with so much more than that, the wibble of her voice was soaked with grievious emotion, and her lips turned in a tiny frown. "I... Just miss my home... Hogwarts... It was everything to a lot of us. Better than all the planets and alternate universes combined..."

Ari looked up and listened to the professor, blinking back the shock. She had been on the verge of getting up if they had to learn how to properly dress up or comb their hair. Honestly she had had enough since the first day, she missed everyone. Raising her hand she looked up and nodded, "Yes professor. The Ministry should keep to themselves. From what I've heard they have their own problems to contend with. Why bother us?" She stated in a steady voice full of conviction. "I miss Hogwarts too much ." she added.

Take that mum she thought smirking slightly as she sat up straighter, wondering what this was all about.

Tomasina raised her hand, "Professor I feel like the Ministry should stick to running the British wizarding community. They should leave the education to dedicated professors like you who honestly care about our growth and development. The Minister shouldn't be letting his daft wife make up lesson plans." Tommy said. "They shouldn't be messing with us."

Juniper blinked at Professor Pierce. She wanted to know what they thought of the ministry interference? Psh. The second year was surprised that anyone would have to ask. Hand in the air, she said, in a louder voice than usual, "Hogwarts business is for Hogwarts, and Ministry business is for the Ministry. Hogwarts doesn't interfere with Ministry business, so the Ministry obviously shouldn't bother us at Hogwarts." Not to mention Ministry professors who ate children.

"There were both boys and girls at the Hogwarts the founders invisioned, so there Hogwarts should continue to be co-ed. Obviously." Perhaps the extra obviously was a bit much, but Juniper did not care. Sure, she was wary of the Slytherin head of house, but she doubted she would be eaten in front of a classroom of students. And if everyone replied in the same general fashion, she wouldn't be singled out for saying exactly what she thought.

"Yes" Kayla squealed. "They should all go back from the rocks they crawled out from and never darken our doorsteps again" she was almost jumping up and down in her seat. "And personally I don't care if my answer does leave this room, I'm quite happy to tell them to their faces any day."

Alex smiled, "Well, it just so happens, I feel the same way." She flicked her wand and the door shut gently so the outside couldn't see. "I just wanted to let you all know, you are not alone in feeling this way. This here," she said picking up the file and holding it up for them all to see, "Is a Ministry approved lesson for today. I say, forget it, this is Transfiguration, this is my classroom, and this will be taught my way." she stated. At that she threw the folder into the air and pointed her wand at it and said, "Incendio!" The file burst into flames and fell on the floor still burning.

Alex smiled, 'Well, that felt good.' she thought to herself. "Now, onto today's lesson!"

"Well personally I think that deserves a standing ovation" Kayla said and stood up from her chair and started clapping the Professor.

Reese watched as the Professor put the folder on fire.Wow.She walked over to her desk and sat down.She pulled out her stuff and looked at the Professor.Ready.

Reese noticed Kayla stand up and started clapping.She did the same.

"As long as it's not leaving this room then yes," Sabrina said. "The Ministry should deal with the important issues of the world, such as making sure muggles don't find out about magic, not teaching us how to be ladys and gentlemen. We're students who either next year or in the near future, are going to be going out into the world of work and none of us have learnt anything, except in the classrooms where the teachers are actually from Hogwarts, that'll help us. If none of us get to see the boys except on Hogsmede weekends, how are we meant to learn about maturing with our feelings? Most of us are used to growing up with boys, and believe me, being tugged away from boys that you've loved growing up with and perhaps even have relationships with sort of takes your mind off things such as studying how to do flower arrangements, and sit sideways on broomsticks. We all want to go back to Hogwarts, even those that haven't been there like me, the stories we've heard about it makes it seem wonderful."

She listened to the professor and watched it burst into flames. Never mind what she thought before, this lesson was going to be good fun.

Ari, who had a feeling of what was coming almost clapped as professor Pierce told them they were having a normal lesson, throwing the folder in the air and burning it. She felt like she had a weight lifted off her shoulders, voicing her concerns out loud finally after keeping it in all year.

Taking her wand out of her bag she sighed. It felt solid in her hand, something powerful. She hadn't even used it much in the past few months, which was weird for the reason of her learning magic. Setting the piece of wood onto the table, she grinned at the professor and waited eagerly. "Professor, if I may ask, what were they trying to make you teach us?" She asked, putting her hand in the air

Gem lifted her wand out of her bag and stared at it with bug eyes as it caught the light. Right then, she wanted to cuddle it and never let go. It'd been a bit sense she had used it in a lesson, and each time she touched it, it gave her a delightful tingle as its magic, and her own, connected. She was a witch, after all, and her wand was not only an instrument, but a companion. Her hand felt naked and vulnerable when she wasn't grasping it. She watched the papers burst into flame and a bellish giggle escaped her light pink lips in glee. "Fire works!" She exclaimed breathily aloud, eyes dancing in the flame-light. Though she disliked the destruction of things, especially trees, she was very relieved to see that the Ministry approved lesson would be going up in... Well. Smoke.

Tommy stood up and clapped along with everyone else. This was great. finally the professors were standing up to this garbage as well. "Thank you Professor" She said over the clapping.

"No idea, never looked in it." Alex said with a grin.

"Today we will be doing personal tranfiguration. Like so." She pointed her wand at her face and instantly her lips thinned out a bit, her eyelashes shortened and her jaw became more square. With one more flick, Alex's hair was cut off into a boys style. Standing before you was a very boyish looking Alexandria Pierce, who gave you a wink and a mischiveous grin. With another flick she transformed back to herself and cast the hair growing charm on herself and once again looked normal. "The spell on the face is Malifius and the hair-cutting charm is Peshoi."

Kayla felt a smile tug at her mouth and she gave the professor a knowing look. "A very useful spell indeed" she said happily, thinking of the possibilities if she could pull this spell off.

She raised her hand. "Do you want us to change everything you changed?" She asked the Professor.
