Magesta stood by the door to the classroom waiting for the professor. As Professor Korvis arrived she smiled, "Hello, Professor." She followed the professor into the classroom, took a seat and looked at the plants that filled the classroom.

Steelsheen ran up to the Greenhouses, afraid that she was running late. She was still snickering from the incident at Flying classes, and had nearly forgotten about her Herbology. "Good Morning Professor!" Steelsheen greeted her brightly and proceeded to choose a good spot in the greenhouse.

Allie walked intot he classroom.
"Hello,Professor." she said.

Jillian was early as she entered the Herbology classroom. Her nose crinkled as the scent of different flowers entered it. Each flower had a beautiful scent yes, but when some of them combine, they just smelled odd.

As she made her way towards a preferred seat near the front, she noticed packets lining the room. What were these things for? Seeds maybe... she thought as she took a seat in the first row.

"Good day, Professor." she greeted politely.

Juniper grinned as the Herbology professor arrived. "Hello, Professor," she said quietly. Of all the classes taught by ministry professors, herbology had been the only one she looked forward to. She just hoped that the new professor did not butcher the loveliness of the subject.

Shayna wandered in slowly, trying to keep a safe distance from some of the more...troublesome plants. It was easy enough to say Herbology was not one of Shayna's forts. She for one, didn't mind at all that lesson had started later than scheduled. In her eyes, there was nothing wrong with less time being spent in the greenhouses than designated. 'Hullo Professor,' she greeted quietly, at the same time eyeing some of the fauna closer to her, inching away noticeably.

Blinking as she saw a woman approaching her and the other girls, Melina quickly placed herself behind Juniper and followed her older and taller friend. Herbology was probably one of the subjects she had researched less and so, she was feeling nothing but anxiety. After all, she had no idea of what her eyes would meet. Hopefully the plants she'd have to deal with were such as inofensive as the common muggle plants she had came across in her life. Hopefully...

Ariana walked in slowly, taking a cleansing breath of the flowers. Ah yes, Herbology, her WORST subject. Well if she had any hope of passing, then she needed this grade she thought as she walked in further, her green eyes glinting. "Hello Professor." she said in a false cheery voice.

Walking into the classroom Vannie couldnt help but feel quite akward. This was definetly was her weakest subject. Smiling at the professor as she took a seat she began to look around the room. Quite a lot of pretty flowers.

Reese walked into the Herbology class and smiled."Hello,Professor.How are you today?"She hoped the Professor remembers that every plant Reese touches dies.

Oh dear. It seemed that the Herbology professor was a bit too enthusiastic, just like the Potions one. Ugh. Couldn't they have a normal teacher for once? With a small smile in the woman's direction, Evangeline walked in and took a seat next to Vannie. "I don't really like Herbology." She whispered to the girl with a crinkle of her nose.

"Hello everyone!" Korvis said brightly. "I'm glad that you're all here! Now, let's begin, shall we? Let's hear from you what you think the most important thing for a girl to know about Herbology is!"

Which flowers go best together? Crystal answered thinking what belle would class as the best thing for girls to know

"How to water them without killing them," Magesta said with a laugh as she thought of her mother's not so green thumb.

Anna glanced around the greenhouse, wondering when things would get started. The professor was a bit late and students were still continuing to straggle in. At least there were a lot of pretty plants blooming all around the classroom. Anna wondered if this professor was going to be anything like the Potions professor, because so far, she seemed to be the spitting image personality wise. Sigh.

Ah, finally. Things were getting started. Anna raised her hand to answer the question the professor just asked. "There are several things a girl must know, including proper planting and potting procedures, proper care when attending to it's growth, and how to care for it and maintain it when it's grown." Anna thought just a minute on the way the professor had stressed "a girl must know," and decided to add one additional thought. "I guess a girl would need to know how to decorate with them, such as which colors coordinate with others." She shrugged, feeling a bit silly saying that second part.

Wow. That was a pretty tricky question. Jillian pondered for a while. What was the most important thing to know about Herbology?

Jillian raised her hand. "That each plant deserves proper care and yet not all plants are cared for in the same way." That was...acceptable, right?

Melina tilted her head and raised her hand, not certain as to what the answer would be. "Perhaps how to treat it correctly, ma'am. I mean, how to make it grow healthy and stay healthy," She said. "And we should always try to make it look as pretty as we can," She added with a nod.

Allie raised her hand.
"How to take care of each plant, giving exactly the right amount of sun and nutrients they need to survive, and grow into a beautiful plant." said Allie.
"And of course, how to arrange them so they look thier best, too." she added, after thinking about 'what a girl should know.'

What? Ari thought glancing at the professor with a green eye. "Err, how to properly love and care for them like a mother should? I mean, making sure nothing happens to them you know? Like keeping them out of the sun keeping them watered..." ouch Ari nice one she thought, wincing slightly at her own remark. Note to self, stay quite.

"Perhaps how to take good care of if, Professor?" Evangeline started, hand raised, definitely not sure of what the answer would be. Silly ladies classes. "How to treat it so that it'll be ever green and healthy?"

"Giving them the care and attention they need," Samantha said.

"Very good my dears! Two points to each of you!" She pat the construct, which was a sort of gel/glass-like thing floating above a pair of feet, a pair of hands floating at its sides. "Get me some coffee Jimmy, will you?" She looked back to the rest of the class. "So, today we will be learning about flower arranging! Now of course, you are going to have to select very healthy plants, for they will produce the best flowers. What do you think you should look for in a flower?"

Flower arranging? Oh good lord above. "Well, a flower must be healthy of course, colourful, pretty and ... remain fresh for a long time?" She had noooo idea.
