Josh just shrugged." i dont know." he paused." maybe i should set up a kissing booth to test it out. test your theory out. See how it goes." he teased her."I dont think anyone would come really."





Josh looked to see that grin. Oh he loved that grin. He was sure to make it his best friend in the future."oh really? Seal of approval?" he thought about it and then remembered the scene after class." Oh right. Approval." he said now remembering. he looked at her her as he then bit his lip for a few moments." sure. go right ahead." he told her with a smile as he looked at her."anything for you." he then winked at her.

Vince grab his head between his somewhat furry's hands. This was disastrous and he knew it. He just told the professor everything he knew which wasn't much but he coudn't see why he couldn't help. "O.........k.." As the professor took his hand, he was feeling intimidated which was rather hard for his ego. Putting his hand closer to his body as he let it go, he look at the man in hope of finding some hopes or anything.

Just before leaving toward the hospital wing, he said: "I'll probably be in the common room after that." Pushing his hands in his jacket as he went away, he was wishing to many nobody on his way there.

Lyra's eyes shifted once more towards Josh. If there was anything that could talk better than her lips, it was her eyes. "Kissing booth?" she raised an eyebrow, her lips curled to one side. "Where do I get a ticket?" she laughed wickedly. "And you think that no one would come?" She looked him up and down for a moment. "Have you looked at yourself in the mirror lately, 007?"



She then proceeded to move in a little closer, knowing that he might not be ready for what she was about to do. She lifted her hands to his hair to feel just how soft it was. "The shampoo does work wonders," she spoke as her eyes returned to his and her sly grin was back.

Fabian shot Vincent a nod then watched him walk away before he turned around to enter his office. Something was amiss, indeed it was.

The sight behind his office door made him frown, and the disappointed look he casted both Lyra and Josh was immeasurable. "Josh!" he scoffed, "I need you to do something for me" without another word or look at both students he moved towards his bookshelves and skimmed along the books while he continued to address the Slytherin. "I need you to fetch Professor Max. I don't care what you do as long as you bring him here.. and make it quick" he glanced at him with narrowed eyes before scanning the books again.

Josh was about to reply to her when the professor came in... It was probably a good thing.the room was starting to heat up. He looked at lyra for a moment as he then moved his hand to her hip to push her away so that he could go and fetch a teacher for his master. apparently he was a lap dog. "of course professor. I'll run there." he told him as he then nodded at the professor. He then moved out the door and headed to the castle.. he didnt want to leave lyra there alone. it seemed rather dangerous to leave her there.

Lyra heard the door open and her eyes grew wide with fear. She quickly removed her hands from his soft, yet shiny hair and placed them at her side. Her eyes closed as she heard the sound of her uncle's voice call out to Josh. They were in trouble, or better yet she was in trouble.

She felt Josh's hand push her to the side and turned around with her head down. She didn't say one word.

He heard Josh's footsteps fade way, and knowing he was a good distance from hearing him he murmured a "Don't disappointment me Lyra, you should be directing your time into more useful things than boys. They will only hurt your feelings at the end" he didn't glance her way. But instead continued to look for that book. And there it was, all dusty and webbed.

Fabian pulled the book out and opened it after dusting it. Instantly scanning through the yellow pages for his search.

Lyra heard Fabian begin to speak. She was ready for the third degree of punishment to be thrown her way, as in yelling. But instead, Fabian hit her with words that hurt even worse...disappointment.

"I'm sorry," she spoke softly as she folded her hands behind her, playing with her fingers. "I was only..." she paused for a moment to clear her throat, "I was only testing out the goat shampoo that he tried out. He does have soft hair, you know." Her eyes shifted to the side as she bit her bottom lip.

"Don't be" he murmured lifting his head from the book to give her a fatherly look before returning to his fast skimming and flipping pages. When she threw goat shampoo at him, Fabian lowered the book and gave her a questionable look. "Now you can't squirm your way out of trouble young lady!" he spoke out as he made his way across the office knowing she'll manipulate herself out of trouble by diversion. He searched for Fex's goat shampoo in the drawer he usually keeps it in. But it was no where to be seen. "Unbelievable!!" he snapped, placing the book between his waist and arm as he leaned onto the desk. "What made him use Fex's shampoo?" he inquired curiously, kids never cease to surprise him anymore.

Lyra bit her lip as she seemed to speak of too much. Fabian didn't seem upset before, but things changed over a matter of seconds. The shampoo was gone. She jumped slightly as his voice changed.

"Well, ummmm," should she bring up Christian or not? She shivered every time she heard his name. She had not seen him in a few days and was terribly missing him. "Me." She lowered her head as her voice was almost a whisper. "But...but I can explain! Please." She pressed her lips together, her hands still behind her back.

"Well, the last time I was in here," she began as her body started a slight rocking, back and forth, "I-Let me start all over." She cleared her throat and closed her eyes. Just say it! "I overheard you and Max talking the other day about one of the professors that you seemed to be interested in. You said she smelled as good as the goat shampoo," -opens her eyes and waves hands weird as she begins to talk fast- "or something to that nature. I was upset that you just so happened to be interested in someone else because, well, you're not supposed to be...and" -sigh- "I wanted to see what the fuss was about and why guys, well you, liked the smell of a female smelling like Fex." She rolled her eyes at the craziness. "Well, I didn't want to try it out on myself so..." -sigh- "I accidently pushed Christian" -shivered at the sound of his name- "into the lake and then handed him the bottle of shampoo to try out and... well it worked. His hair smelled great and...OH...it was soft too." -little too much excitement, then remorse- "And then there was Josh" -smirks- "who wanted to try it as well and..." -sighes again- "do I really have to finish this?"

She hoped that the explanation would be good enough, that is, if he could make it out. She was tired of explaining already as a worried look appeared upon her face.

This was it. He was going to confront Fabian. How dare he stick a frog in his food? Ok, so maybe the frog thing wasn't exactly proven, but it seemed like the kind of thing that Fabian would do just to annoy Christian.

Outside his door, Christian took a deep breath and knocked on the door, while slowly opening it. "Sir," Christian began opening the door full swing to show that Fabian wasn't alone and his company made his stomach flip again. Lyra was there...and she looked worried. Fabian looked like he was boardering a fine line of exasperation; Lyra was telling him everything.

To make things even worse (in his sense) was that Lyra was there. He hadn't seen her since that day at the lake. He hadn't been avoiding her persay...more like...hiding out in the Boy's Dormitory, laying on his bed with the company of a kitten. He was biting the inside of his mouth, shooting glances at Lyra every few seconds.

"Uh...I'm sorry, I think I have the wrong office," he backed up slowly.

Lyra stood waiting on her uncle's reply to her long drawn out story, when there was sudden knock at his door. She threw her hands up in the air and rolled her eyes wondering who could be interrupting their conversation. "What great timing," she pursed her lips together in slight anger, talking though her teeth as she placed her hands on her hips.

The door open as she continued to gaze ahead. Who could it be? Another student who needs advise? Enough already! she thought to herself. Sighing loudly, she tilted her head with an attitude as her eyes snapped towards the opened door.

"C-Christian?" she shivered once more at the sound of his name. She gawked at him with wide eyes and a dropped mouth, blinking every so often.

First thing that came to her mind was to run out of Fabian's office. Within a weeks time, not only did she disappoint her uncle, or so she liked to think, her hero, Zero expressed his concerns about her extra curricular activities with Josh, who made his moves on her in the library, but now, the guy that ran away from her only a couple of days ago, the guy that she was beginning to have feelings for, and the same guy that she called her ‘Partner in Crime’, stood in the same room as she.

Her eyes looked away, staring at nothing as she realized from the corner of her eye he kept gazing back at her. Maybe closing her eyes would be better, then she couldn’t see anything, no matter where he stood or how far apart they were. She hated feeling this way, she hated being away from him, but there was nothing she could do…she already did enough apparently.

As his voice broke the silence of the room, she breathed deeply remembering his smell and the way she felt in his arms. Now opening her watery eyes would nothing more than show how silly of a girl she really was at this point.

Professor Clark, Jason comes running in from vegeatable patch. " Ithink I might know something about what happened or who is helping out making our students into animals and having them disappear. I was talking to Laylee about knowing what happened to the students. Everyone in the scool knowa, why not her? This sounds supicious." Jason tells the professor frantcally "Josh- "grunt" Jason says.

Ponessa, although her stomach was twisted, Knocked gently on the door and poked her head in, "Professor, sir, I'm sorry to interrupt, and I assure you nothing like this will ever happen again, but the Headmistress has called a staff meeting...sir." She caught her breath, "I'm sorry and thank you."

Christian watched Lyra's actions from were he stood, she looked like she was upset. Christian was holding back everything he had to go over and hug her and hold her, just like the other day, but he couldn't. Fabian would murder him.

He opened his mouth to say something when some Gryffindor kid just came bursting in; Christian shut his mouth and a small growl may have came out. Didn't anybody knock anymore? His frown turned into a small blink as the kid said Josh's name in a rather....not happy tone. "Uhm...kid...Josh ain't here..." he said in his own, soft and solemn voice.

Christian looked back onto the floor, breathing softly, this time he would say something...he could do it. He opened his mouth again, "I..." and then a fellow Ravenclaw came in as well and Christian groaned and threw his hands up into the air in an exasperated manner. He had had enough, it was quite apparent that having a nice chat wasn't going to work out in here.

He walked softly across the room, over to where Lyra sat, grabbed her hand, "Come on," he said gently, and lightly led her out of the room. He wanted to talk to her, actually no...he just wanted her to be there with him, either way, they need peace...some place that wasn't here.

And also someplace far, far, FAR, away from Fabian. Just in case.

Lyra's patients were wearing thin when yet another student nearly broke down the door. Her eyes glared back towards the door and past Christian, where she recognized a Gryffindor student, Jason, a boy she met from the lake. She took in a deep breath, turning her head away from everyone. Now she knew that this was going to take longer than expected, she was not in the mood.

Her foot began to tap with her nerves as...."Oh my gosh," she said with narrow eyes, looking back to yet another person who walked thru the door, this time announcing that there was a staff meeting. GAH!! She turned her face back towards her favorite staring wall.


Lyra felt someone touch her hand as Christian's voice was next to her. Her eyes looked from their hands together up to his eyes. She had no choice but to follow, quietly out of Fabian's office.

Fabian's eyebrows shot through the roof at Lyra's description, he was about to criticize when Christian showed up at the door. His lips twirled into a smile as he murmured "I beg to differ!" his eyes scorching him knowingly. Everything happened fast, when a Ravenclaw walked it notifying of a staff meeting.

"Good god!" he shot out, "well that makes a difference doesn't it? .. no no.. Thank you for the message!" he replied with a smile then ushered Christian, Lyra, and Jason out of his office and into the corridor then locked the door. "Wait for me here, or come back later tonight" he murmured before hurrying down the corridor towards the staircase.

" Professor Clark, is there something we can do about those students who turned into animals since you are the teacher of Care of Magical Creatures" Jason asked him worry especially about his cousins Excelsior and Monica aand caring about the rest of students as animals abd HogWart students.

Christian walked slowly, down the hallway to Fabian's office door. His eyes were focused intently on the floor, his mind was a buzz with what he had to say. He was slightly nervous for this meeting with Fabian; the topic at hand was quite a touchy one. Especially in Fabian's eyes.

He scratched his chin absentmindedly, looking ahead every now and then to make sure he was going to walk into a wall; or even into the door for that matter. Honestly though, he wouldn't mind walking into that door. It might knock him unconcious and then he wouldn't have to talk to Fabian! He frowned slightly; if he didn't do it, then she would.

He came up to the door, knocked on it (with slight hesitance), and waited for the sound of Fabian's voice to call out and tell him to come in. That voice didn't come, so Christian tested the doorknob. Locked..., Christian sighed and took a seat on the floor; Fabian wasn't in his office and it would probably be sometime before he did show up. May as well get comfy.

Josh walked down to Fabain's Office as he looked down at his tie. He was still wearing lyra's hufflepuff tie. he sighed as he saw a familiar Ravenclaw boy. He sighed as he prepared himself for who knows what. he walked to him as he was sitting down in front of the door." Not here?" he asked him.

Christian raised an eyebrow at Josh's question. "Actually, you know, I like sitting outside professor's offices just for the heck of it. Nothing like having the professor's think that you enjoy stalking them," he chuckled. "If he was here, would I be sitting here? No, I think not...nice tie." He said eyeing the Hufflepuff tie, "not many Slytherin's would show pride to another house. You better not let Trelawney catch you," he chuckled.

Christian smiled a warm smile towards Josh and patted the ground beside him. "Pull up a bit of ground, sit, we could be here for a while. What have you been up to lately?" Oh the things Christian was so oblivious too...

well if the boy wanted to act like nothing was going on... he was all for it." You like stalking teachers? Have to make a mental note of that if i ever teach. stay clear of ravenclaw boys. They are more dangerous then they look." he teased. he looked down at the tie as he gave him a small smile. it was then that he laughed at the cassandra comment." Trust me, she already has. She threatened me already."

josh looked at the ground and nodded." just let me summon some up." He said sarcastically as he sat. he looked over at him when he asked what he was up too. Really?...did lyra really like the oblivious ones. he hoped he knew her well because if he didnt he wouldnt be able when things were wrong. He gave him another small smile as shrugged." Nothing much. Im getting behind in my homework really. what about you?" he asked.

Christian laughed, "Hmm...we're not all dangerous. The dangerous ones are the people who want to turn our common room into a zoo. I swear, one of the girls in our house has a skunk...and another guy has...well...in a nut shell, lots of animals!" Christian chuckled, Cassandra threatening? That didn't sound new. "And you still wear the tie. Brave man," he was nodding admirably.

"Summon away...Fabian should really invest in some pillows for out here for the times he's not here. Ah well, we'll have to make do," he shifted slightly, his butt was falling asleep sitting on the hard ground. "Mmmm, you might want to stay on top of that homework, man. Not good to fall behind...I think I'm doing ok this year," he smirked.

And then Josh asked how he was. Christian pondered for a few seconds, and then he smiled. It was such a silly question, "I'm happy Josh." His eyes glinted like a little kids in a candy store, his lips twisted into a broad grin, and this happiness etched into every crack of his face.

"Very happy."

josh looked at the kid as he said he was happy.

Oh Bloody hell.

He no longer wanted to talk to this boy but he had no choice. Him all his happyness... he had the slight inclination to punch him in the face. The kid had done nothing wrong... Except having lyra's affection. Damn.. miniature blue boy.

He smiled at the kid as he couldnt hate him quite yet.He looked at his tie and smile." yeah well it means more then just a tie. Means a lot to the person that gave it to me too." he then left it at that and nodded at the comment about homework. " yeah.. im a bit busy though with a few things." he had to admit. He smiled at him as he then looked around.

Christian smiled at Josh and the value the tie held. "I'm sure the person misses it dearly," he smirked and left it to, as it seemed it was not a topic of Josh's preference. "They do like to work us to the bone around here...it's always work work work...nothings ever for us." Christian sighed. "Come on Fabian..." he mumbled, Christian was getting quite anxious. Every moment it took for Fabian to show up, was a moment wasted that could have been spent with Lyra.
