Amelia smiled and nodded at the COMC professor, when he made the announcement for the other students to leave his office. She motioned to the rest of the Badger Club to follow her inside. "Thank you, Professor," she said, graciously as she stood near the quidditch posters, smiling at some of the old photos of Fabian. She just folded her hands neatly in front of her, rocking back and forth, as she waited for the office to empty out.

Fabian leaned on the door frame while he waited for students to re-adjust, he glanced at the Hufflepuff group and motioned for them to enter his office with one hand, "Come in! Make yourself comfortable.. there's some fresh lemonade on the table by the corner".



Fabian crossed his arms across his chest, "Why so pessimist Marco? Have you tried speaking with Professor Max about possible summer training? Or recommendation letters? I won't mind sending one out for you, if you ever need it that is".

"Well I don't think I am that good. There are more better than me," he frowned, "I thought about talking to Max, but I didn't really want to waste his time." He smiled again, "Thank you Professor. That means alot to me."

He spotted the badgers flooding the room, and thought he might get squashed in the mass of people. Maybe if he hid behind Fabian, or the table he would be protected. He chose the desk. He ran behind it, and ducked down, away from the masses of Huffies.

"Yes, thankyou Professor." Savannah added, nodding and followed after Amelia; inside the office, she gazed around. This was the first time she had been in this office since Professor Maline, and things were different she noticed. Not bad at all, but it was rather weird not to see little Perry climbing about.

Pacing slowly, the fourth year pushed dark bangs out of her eyes after lifting her gaze from the floor. Taking notice to a goat, the same goat she remembered from last term that had been chewing on someones robes down at the pitch, Savannah smiled. Her attention didn't linger long on the animal, as she felt the throw blanket shift on it's own. A small black nose poked out of the black and gold trimmed fabric, sniffing the air it seemed. Resisting a giggle, the girl moved a hand and hid its muzzle once more.

Curt glanced at the rest of the Badger club and smiled reassuringly as Professor Clark stepped outside, he seemed nice enough and he hadn't been in here ever since Maline was the Professor. "Thanks Professor." Curt said with a nod as he passed the Professor walking into to very decorated office. Of course, Curt, the quidditch obsessed fourth year knew all about Clark's past as a pro-Quidditch player and took a deep notice to all the posters, as he was a big fan of the Puddlemore United as well.

Glancing around the room, Curt couldn't help but loose focus. "I've been to a few of Puddlemore's matches." Curt said slightly dazed, "They were such a quick team I was blown away, bad loss losing you eh Professor?" Curt said with a grin, before looking back to the rest of his housemates who were probably wondering what had gotten into him... this was about Rabid, NOT Quidditch! Curt thought to himself, shaking his head in disbelief. "But, uh, thats besides the point." he said guiltily, frowning a bit. He turned to Savannah and nodded, giving her and the young creature his utmost attention.

"Ah, sir, happy news indeed!" Dia smiled. "My summer was excellent, thank you, though I'm glad to be back at Hogwarts. Are you enjoying term so far?"

Rapunzel was one of the last to file into Clark's office, and as she took a seat, she couldn't help but be amazed by Quidditch...ness...of his office.

"Whoa..." she muttered slightly, a slight smile on her face. Quidditch was her first love, and she would have loved to have a discussion about it here, but the Badger Club had a purpose. Indeed. Punzle cleared her throat slightly and took a seat near Curt. She couldn't help but continue admiring the Quidditch relics of the office, however, as she waited for them to begin.

Sana didn't smile and still looking at the lemonade glass. But spoke in lighter tone, "Yeah, everything is okay with school" And she continued, "You know....I was ...I was waiting outside the door for such a long time, my legs hurts" her tone filled with self-pittiness.

Jack followed the rest of the group into the office, still very confused with what was going on and kept glimpsing at what Savannah had in his hand. Like the rest of them, he was fascinated by all his Quidditch stuff. Jack didn't sit down, instead, he wandered around the office, inspecting all the posters and other Quidditch stuff. He would have to come back at another time to talk about it. Maybe Professor Clark could give Jack some advice about how to get on a Professional Team when he left school.

Savannah only shook her head slightly, purely amused. The fourteen year old wasn't surprised at all that each of her housemates were very interested in the quidditch-related things around the room, and she didn't see anything wrong with that even if this visit wasn't for anything along those lines; she was simply greatful they had come.

Plus, they had abit longer to wait. There was absolutely no way she way going to show or even speak of their little friend infront of any others. Being patient like she should, the fourteen year old went to stand much closer to Curt and Punz; rather then wandering around the office. "Thankyou, again." She said, quietly and smiled a small smile. The girl was still rather apprehensive, and bashful for that matter.

On hearing Savannah speak Jack came back to the room instead of dreaming about being a famous Quidditch Player. He snapped his head back to where everyone was standing and realised that they were here for a reason. Which he still didn't know. But everyone else did. Why couldn't he know yet?

He stepped over to where Savannah was and began questionning her again. "What's in your blanket? Why can't you tell me now? Why are you being so secretive?" He sounded like an annoying five year old. But he wanted to know so he had to pester to find out.

It took a little while for Amelia to drop back off cloud nine from being around all those Quidditch posters. She couldn't help but giggle though as all her other classmates seemed to be just as enveloped in the room as she was. No surprise there at all.

Just a bit longer until they would hear the outcome of their secret pet, which was making the sixth year very anxious. But at the same time, she was thankful to be there because she just couldn't imagine it any other way. She took a step toward Vannah and the others in the group, and waited patiently for the presentation to Professor Clark.

Glancing over at Jack, it took her a moment to realize that he wasn't in the common room when they all found out. She leaned over and whispered to him, "Soon Jack. We don't want everyone to know," she smiled at the quidditch captain.

Lyra opened the door slowly and noticed several Hufflepuff students around. "Ummm, Professor Clark," she made a mental note to call him professor around other students. "Did you switch Houses? Because there seems to be a lot of Huffies in the house?" She began to raise her hands up and down as if the Hufflepuffs were winning a game or sometime. Ruler of Fabian was more like it.

Sana noticed Lyra in her corner of the eyes as she was keeping her head down before Prof. Fabian. She giggled instantly. She knew her curiosity and morive. Waving at her without Prof. knowing.

"sounds like fun professor." he said as he had some more of his drink. He heard the knock on the door as their was shades of yellow and black coming. " I guess i'll come back later professor. I need to do a few things anyway. It was nice visiting with you professor." he told him with a smile." And your lemonade is really good." he smiled and headed towards the door. he was sure not to be attacked by any huffles that were here. He smiled at them as he exited the hut.

Out of the corner of her eye, Lyra noticed a hand waving in her direction. "Sana," she spoke, noticing Fabian was speaking to her to. I'll be there in minute, she mouthed as she looked his office, looking for one thing.

After snooping through his shelves and desk drawer, Lyra finally found it. "Here it is," she whispered to herself as she held up a half empty bottle of goat shampoo.

Her eyes then looked back over to Sana. "I need to speak to you for a moment," she spoke with a bit of authority, hoping that Fabian would understand.

"I'm borrowing this," -holding up Fex's shampoo towards Fabian- "and hopefully her," she pointed in Sana's direction.

Sana watched Lyra curiously. Oh..man..what she was trying to do or find? she didnt have any clue for her actions. Lyra seemed busy with her stuffs and took out an empty bottle before she asked Prof. Fabian for relieving Sana. She shook her head and smiling, waited for his permission.

While waiting, Lyra opened the half empty bottle and took a sniff, quickly wrinkling her nose at the smell. She wondered if what she accidently heard Fabian state to Vindictus was true, that females do smell better with this...goat smell.

She quickly returned the cap and looked around the room wondering what all these Hufflepuff's were really up too. Maybe they are into spying too, she thought to herself with a raised eyebrow. The thought would be delightful if it were true.

Amelia raised a brow as a young Hufflepuff entered the Office. Weird; what would she need with Fex's shampoo. Strange girl... Out of the corner of her eye, she watched as Josh left the office without even taking notice of her. Not that she cared too much; he was just a slytherin boy who hung out with Trelawney - nothing special.

She waited to see what this girl was up to, watching from a distance but remaining as inconspicuous as possible. She kept a watchful eye on Vannah as well, wondering when she would share their secret.

Sana finally spoke, "Erm...Professor, if you dont mind, I'll be here a bit later..sorry..." she got up and signaling at Lyra to come out of the room behind her.

Lyra stuffed the half empty bottle of shampoo inside her robes and smiled at Fabian. "See ya," she gave a nod of her head and walked with Sana out of his office. If he saw, there was no problem, or at least there shouldn't be. He had 50 dozen other shampoo bottles for Fex sitting right behind the one she took. He would just have to understand.

"Let's go outside," she pressed on as she locked arms with Sana. "You must tell me everything." She waltzed out of Fabian's office.

Amelia kept a watchful eye on the two extra Hufflepuffs as they left the office. Just Marco left now, but he was hiding behind the desk and really was no threat. She nudged Vannah in the side with her elbow and whispered, "It's now or never, Vannah."

Being nudged brought her back to earth, Savina nodded. Taking a moment or so to figure out what she was going to say, and do, rather then letting everything just tumble out in a rushed splurr.

"Professor..I-erm, We?..Uhm," The girl already paused, uncertain of which it was. She didn't want it to sound like Rabid was only hers, but she also didn't want it to sound as if she was forcing the badger club into this. Either way, she was perfectly fine with it. Whatever was most comfortable for them; she was just happy they had come, otherwise she probably would be rambling already.

"There's a small..situation.." Savannah continued, more clearly this time. Balancing the bundled throw blanket in one arm, she used her free hand to move the fabric, revealing a little baby Badger cub. The fourth year stroked his grizzled, silvery coat gently; hoping he wouldn't be alarmed by the amount of people when he opened his small beady black eyes. "He doesn't bite, I don't think..I know Badger's are suppose to be dangerous but he's not," She reassured, going on to explain the full story.

"I found him, his mum actually, I know by where I found them that it wasn't originally their natural habit. It was obvious the mumma Badger had been taken from her real home, she had to have been moved by hunters, and had escaped..it's the only logical reasoning, because I had observed her for afew days. And..badger's don't normally die suddenly, when the previous day they were fine." Savannah frowned, pausing to let it sink in slightly. The mumma badger had been alone, or so she had thought. Rabid, it's baby she now held, was the only one that had been with her. She hated for it to be true, but the Mumma badger had been hunted, without a doubt. It wasn't normal for them to find Badger's in Valencia; Spain, in certain area anyways. "I found out that same day that the mumma badger hadn't been alone, but with a cub..and he couldn't have been more then afew weeks old; the next day was the day everyone went back to Hogwarts. I couldn't leave him, Professor.." The hufflepuff trailed off, shaking her head no, lightly.

Pleeeeease don't make us get rid of him, pleeeeease. Savannah thought, biting her lip and stood silent; waiting for some kind of reaction.

Amelia stood next to the fourth year as she revealed their secret to Professor Clark and Jack, the only two who didn't know about it. She slowly wrapped one arm around her friend, who she was afraid would break down in tears. "Professor, we came here today because, well, we want to keep him. But we need your help in taking care of him, making sure Rabid here gets everything he needs," she added hesitantly, stroking the silvery coat with her free hand.

"GEE!" Fabian croaked pushing the office door - closing it - banking whoever was in his office in, and the remaining out. "Thats a badger!" he stated out loudly.. well more to himself. He stood motionless for a moment, taking the creature in.

"Tempt not a desperate man" he murmured striding across the room to where Savannah stood. "You say the mother died when she was fine on the previous day?" he repeated Savannah's words more thoughtfully, "she could have been sick? Badgers are known to carry disease" he added glancing up to look into her eyes. "Don't worry about bringing him to school, thy worry if he carries disease" he teased then smiled weakly as he tilted his head to get a better glance at the creature.

"Here, pass him to me" Fabian outstretched both of his arms out towards the baby badger, "let me take a closer look at him".
