This was crazy. Agie was standing there stunned. For once in her life she was actually speechless. She looked around the room at all the students AND professors. Everyone's tempers were rising. All she wanted to do was ask Fabian one crappy questions. Agie sighed and went oven to Lyra's side. She looked like she needed a friend close by.

Lyra looked up as Professor Pierce came over and unlocked the cage that Christian was in. "Thank you," she said as she stepped back for a moment and then turned her attention to Fabian. "Wait a minute! Who is getting married?"

She then turned to see Josh heading out the door and down to detention. She was not happy that there was a fight in the room but Marco should have...kept his nose out of things.

"Christian are you okay?" she spoke as she turned back to him.

Chaos. Utter and complete chaos blew up within the office. She could do nothing but stand in shocked silence as voices rose and tempers flared.

With a deep breath, she cast Sonorus on herself before speaking. "Everyone, be quiet!"

With that said, she took the spell off of herself, waiting until the silence came, or at least relative silence. "I don't understand quite what is going on here, but I can tell you this. Most of you here are acting like children! And I mean two-year old children!"

She paused, as though waiting for effect. "Now, you." She pointed to Josh. "Violence is not the way to solve things." She called after him as he set off towards the door for his detention.

Seeing that Fabian was tending to Marco, she gave Alex a hand in helping Christian from the cage. "I would think that you all would be mature enough to discuss this like rationale adults." She seethed.

"I suppose I was wrong." She rarely got angry, but this was absolutely absurd.

Christian clambered out of the cage, mumbling a "thank you" to Professor Pierce and Madame Kohan. He travelled over to a corner and took a seat on the floor, holding his head between his hands. Where was that bottle of headache potion when he needed it?

He heard her voice and looked at her, "yeah...I'm fine, thanks...look I'm REALLY sorry about the way I acted...just got a little high strung...and I'm not good at controlling my anger," he chuckled and sighed at the same time. "Are you okay?" he asked concerningly. She looked like she needed a hug, and Christian was more than welcome to give her one...it was her choice though.

Bump. James walked right into the door of the house before falling down and dripping half his precious headache potion he had been drinking down his shirt. NO!!!!!!!!!!!! It was pure GOLD!!!!!! He dried under the sun before coming in the room. He took a glance around before he decided that the Cristian boy needed it more. Was that his name? He regrettably handed it over to him, looking at it pleadingly.

"I suppose you could" Fabian replied in annoyance, he would have liked to run Josh's detention to torment him even more, but he wouldn't be fair to the tyke. Even so, he had to leave to brew potion or whatever they needed him for.

"Your welcome" he murmured at Marco, peaking back down into his face to make sure his face was set back to normal. "Put a lid on it Marco!" he warned, he had enough with honesty talk all evening, it was giving him a headache.

His eyes caught Lyra and raised an eyebrow, "Yours of course! you didn't think your parents would let this slip easily once they hear from me-?" he broke at the loud voice of Angela. Bloody hell.


"Annoying" he mumbled, "thats what it is! Why would you have to scream like that!" he waved a wand towards the lp player to turn of the bloody opera playing, "I can hear you fairly well over the music-" he trailed off as a Ravenclaw, james, walked in and passed a potion towards Christian.

Fabian made a grab for the potion, "what are you doing?" he asked, "stand there!" he pointed at the nearby wall, "before someone gets hurt".

"I apologise Ang dear. I was just thrown for a loop when I saw human beings, students for Merlin's sake, in cages. Then the fact that one of them was Josh... I guess I just lost my head." Alex said with a sigh as she rubbed her temples. It'd been a while since she'd done that much yelling, her last argument with Caroline if she remembered correctly.

Turning to Fabian she gritted her teeth and spoke, "I'm sorry I blew up your cage and that I raised my voice at you, though some time soon when tempers have calmed down a bit, I would like to hear what lead up to this from your point of view." After saying her peice, Alex waved her wand at the cage she'd blown open and transfigured it into a brand new one.

"What'd I do! I was just giving him a headache potion!" James said, hands raised. "Since when did I hurt anyone?" he asked, before realizing it must have been Vindicus "I'm not over-hyper. I'm just...eccentric. But who cares?" he asked, now getting upset.

"I liked it better when you were silenced," Lyra glared at the moment as she realized Marco opened his mouth yet again. She felt bad about his nose but that was about it. That had to have hurt somewhat.

Finally noticing things around her at the moment, Lyra looked up to see Agie standing next to her. "You okay there?" she giggled as the whole scene in the office was a bit too much for her emotions at the moment. Seeing both guys locked in cages because of her, that was just a low blow from her uncle of course. "I think we need some popcorn at the moment." She then turned her attention back to Christain who now sat in the corner. "Be right back."

Lyra held up her hand to stop Christian but, he kept talking. "We are all working off of high emotions at the moment Christian. This has been the worst year," she said as she looked to the ground and began to play with her fingers. "It would be nice to go out with a bang..." she paused and looked around the room for a moment then continued, "But this was not the kind of bang I was speaking of." She giggled for a moment and then looked back to him. "Yeah! I'm fine, I guess. More embarrassed than anything," she said as she reached for his hand. "I really didn't mean to get you involved in this but...I was just more hurt that you hadn't spoke to me since that day we talked." She just wanted to tune everyone out for a moment and talk to Christian, get some things situated that needed attention far more than others.

Lyra's head snapped up as Fabian was speaking to her again. "Ummm, I'm not getting married to anyone," she spoke as she looked to Christian with a puzzled face and then back to her uncle. "I'm 14 years old Fabian. Marriage is not an option here." She rolled her eyes as she placed a hand to her head.

Angela shook her head at Fabian. "Had to call attention to myself Fabian, of course. Plus the music didn't help in calming anyone down." She pointed out with a frown. "Now, I can imagine that you're upset, but going off on a temper tantrum will not solve things."

With a soft sigh as Alex apologized, Angela gave her a slight smile. "Understandable. I think it wasn't the right way to punish them or whatnot, but regardless, the situation was already out of hand before we showed up."

She glanced over at James as he protested. "James, thank you for bring the potion, but you may want to explain what it is before you give it to someone in that manner. I think we're all on edge here considering the circumstances of this term."

Christian backed away from the boy and the bottle, with a shocked look on his face. This kid was trying to give him a potion!? HA. He wasn't going to take it, he wanted his bottle that was upstairs, the one Numel had given him. A safe bottle. Not liable to make him go crazy and make him look like a fool. No way, not again.

Christian held onto Lyra's hand for comfort, eyeing the boy just in case. Okay, actually, it was if the boy tried to approach him again he could pull Lyra quickly and shove her in his direction.

Hehe, he was kidding.

"I know...I'm sorry. It's just soo much was going on, I couldn't process it all and found myself going crazy. I was avoiding you to make sure you wouldn't be on the receiving end of it. So much for my plan eh?" he smiled and looked at her, and then turned his attention to Fabian and then back to her and her puzzled look...and then back to Fabian,

"I don't even think getting married at 14 is legal," he added on. "I could be old-fashioned though...so don't mind me," he waved his free hand, his other still holding Lyra's.

Who was this kid?? Agie sure didn't know but he was annoying her. Only she was allowed to walk around with potions. "Well why don't you drink the potion yourself, seeing as you're such a headache." She smirked. Then she grabbed the kid by the back of his robes and dragged him to the corner of the room. "If you haven't noticed the professors are a bit on edge. So stay out of the way or it is going to get worse." She said with an evil stare. Agie knew that Lyra and Josh would probably get in more trouble if any more tempers raised. At least she was the good one...for now at least.

Agie smiled at Lyra. At least she still had her sense of humour. "Perfectly fine...what about you?" She asked. It all was a lot to take in, even for Agie. "Ohh popcorn...that could be arranged." She snickered. "I can't believe Josh is in detention before us!" She smirked....wondering what was in store for him. "ok" She said...turning back to the Ravenclaw boy with a don't you even think of moving stare.

"Yeah, I noticed. All I was doing was giving that boy a headache potion! Is it against the rules to help someone?" James said aggressively to the captain. "You know what, I think I'm going to leave" he said firmly, he didn't want to be in any more trouble.

"I suppose your right" Fabian shrugged, he may have lost his temper.. a tad. Or maybe more than a tad. "I'm sorry I raised my voice, I had no right. You were only helping out" he admitted with a sigh, "perhaps, if your still interested you'll re-accept that opera ticket again?" he mused with a smile. He was too busy being focused on Alex and Angela to notice with the kids were doing.


"You bloody well should have thought of that when you decided to mingle with boys!" he explained, trying to keep calm and thoughtful about the situation. "I believe it is! You should have picked the better guy when you decided to get forcefully shackles!" pointing a finger towards Christian. Truth to be told, he always wanted Lyra to end up with Christian, well not in their fourth year. At least until they were somewhere in sixth or seventh year, that was his plan.

"You already had attention without the voice" he explained, but realized what he said was wrong. He pressed his fingers against his temple, and cringing. "Forgive me, been a long day. I see what you mean".

"Well, we'll find out when i speak with her parents. And if its not, we'll get her betrothed to him until they both come of age and have them tie the knot. I'll bloody well make sure it happens!".

Agie raised her eyebrow as the boy's temper rose. She crossed her arms and gave him a smug look. "Excuse me! Who are you to talk to me like that! How do we know what that potion really is. Maybe you'll be going around giving all sorts of potions to students." She smirked....it would be good to find someone the plant the love potion on. "Oh really...you are going to leave now?" Agie said pulling out her wand and pointed it at the boy. She grinned evilly and pointed the wand towards his feet, casting a leg locker curse. "I'd like to see you try." She said smiling sweetly.

His potion! His eyes grew wide as his potion smashed on the ground and he was lifted in the air. "Fine. Make me not able to go. But I won't go to detention because I was trying not to." James said, crossing his arms and sitting down, even if his feet couldn't move.

The commotion behind him got his attention, he turned to find the Quidditch Captain hexing the Ravenclaw he told to get out of the way! "Bloody rotten day" he chimed, "Agie what are you doing?" he murmured, he waved his wand to reverse the spell she casted on the kid. Then made a grab for her wand, "I wasn't expecting this from you, and infront of Professors! Meet me in the dungeons, I'll follow you there in a moment".

Alex smiled gently, "That sounds wonderful." She sighed as Fabian again went on a rant about how Lyra should have choosen the 'right' boy. "Fabian," she began laying a hand on his arm, "Rarely does love do what someone else tells it to. I know my mother wasnt pleased when I married my late husband, but it turned out he gave me the best 12 years of my life." she said with a glance down at the floor, she missed her husband dearly.

As he mentioned the wedding again, Alex just shook her head. Once he calmed down she'd have to mke him see this was ridiculous.
Spotting the Gryffindor girl hex the Ravenclaw, Alex ruber her temples and said, "You deal with them, I cant take anymore kid drama today."

Angela raised a brow as Fabian spoke. "Thank you." She said simply. "I can understand that it's been a crazy day."

With a sigh as she realized that things were finally starting to calm down, Angela leaned against a wall.

She straightened up however, once she realized that Agie had prevented James from leaving. Another one in detention. And after her speech about acting like children and she chose to ignore her!

Her arms crosssed as she sent a look of disapproval towards the girl. "That was completely uncalled for."

"Um...sorry to interrupt everyone...but I'm kind of stuck" James voiced, thinking he might never get out of there.

Lyra smiled at Christian as she squeezed his hand. So that was why he didn't speak and he had every right to not talk to her but, it did hurt. She missed him more than she should have. "No, please speak up, Christian," she begged him for her sake and the sake of marriage. "I'm too young. I'm not ready for that. Fabian, please." Now she was scared. Marriage was a huge committment...HUGE! She was only 14. She may have had a lot of growing up to do at home but definately not that much.


Now she was on the verge of crying again as anger filled her up once more. Not only was Josh in detention now but at the looks of it, Agie was being sent there too. "Now both of them are in detention? But that's..." she paused for a moment and looked back to Christian. Was it a sign? Nah! Certainly not....maybe?

Christian blinked. Once. Twice. Three Times. Did Fabian honestly just stick "better guy" and point at Christian all in the same motion? He must have been dreaming. Like seriously, what kind of nightmare was this? Hopefully the kind where they all live happily ever after, but that didn't appear to be the route of choice so far.

Christian pulled Lyra into a comforting hug, "don't worry," he whispered. "Sir, you can't make her get married. She's only fourteen, too young." He rubbed her shoulder, smirking slightly at Fabian, "surely you're not that anxious to give your niece away to some boy..."

He looked down at Lyra's face, only to see her looking upset again, he rubbed her shoulder again and held her close. "I guess it's just you and me...let's try not to get into trouble," he smirked.

"Quite so, I've been married myself and its been the best years of my life. But dare i say someone knows what love is at the age of fourteen. All the things their feeling are just hormonal!" he explained, "but to come straight out and admit that just ruins the girl's chances of ever getting married again. I don't want her to be a spinster!".



"Your welcome" he smiled warmly towards the librarian, thanks to her things started to calm down. Or maybe was it because everyone decided to head for the dungeons instead?

Fabian waved his wand at the Ravenclaw to reverse the spell casted by Agie, "there you go. You can leave now" he smiled down at the kid.


"Christian has no saying on this unless he wants to take Josh's spot and marry you instead? Bloody hell, what do you think mingling with boys does? He have ruined your reputation, you'll be lucky if you got married! Ever!" he stroked his temple, why did he ever assure her parents Hogwarts was safe.



His brow shot up as he watched Christian comfort Lyra, what was this? "It bloody well is you and her then, so are you up to it lad? Want to marry her instead?".

"Hey! I have a mouth don't I? And isn't Lyra my friend? Therefore, I think I'm entitled to an opinion," he eyed Fabian, still smirking.

Was Fabian challenging him? "I'd marry her. I wouldn't care; she's human and we all make mistakes. You fail to realize that Mr. Clark; mistakes happen. Lyra'll will get married one day, it's a just a matter of who."

He grin broadened. "Think about that one Fabian, you really want me in your family? Put up with me calling you uncle-in-law? Having to put up with me more than you really want to? Every waking and agonizing moment? Sure, I'd marry her. When she's ready," he added seriously. He wrapped his arms around her and eyed Fabian, with the taunting smirk on his face. He knew this was eating the man alive.

Chris came up to the door and knocked on it, he had the bottle in one hand waiting to be called in.
