Christian looked incrediously at the girl. "How could we EVER have gone out! It is CLEARLY obvious that I love Mallory, so why would I go through the trouble of going out with you! So how can we be over, if we were never really together." He eyed her. Even in his disillusioned state, that statement was slightly true on Lyra's side as well. "You see where I am going with this?"

He threw his hands up into the air. "Why would I need to tell her to you!? All she needs to hear from my mouth is that I love her! That's it! Nothing else matters. You want to hear me say it? Fine. I love Mallory! She's the one for me!! Happy?" Christian sure was.

Lyra's head snapped back to where Christian stood. Clearly there really was something wrong with him and she didn't like it. If he liked...no loved Mallory, she was okay with that. She liked Mallory from the first day she met her in the hallway with her funny statements and crazy mind. They could be pretty good friends, if the situation were turned at the moment.

Clearly he forgot about the sneaky things they did together and clearly, even though they were never 'official', expressing feelings for another might count towards something, but at this moment, Christian seemed to not have a clue as to who Lyra was.

Her anger began to settle down realizing what she had just said and done. "You're right, Christian," she mumbled to herself, standing further back from him, wanting to run away and forget everything.

Her eyes shifted to the ground as she placed her hands behind her back. She was giving up, at least towards Christian at the moment. How could she argue with someone who didn't recognizer her at the moment? She didn't want to say things to him that would hurt later and clearly she overstepped her boundaries with Zero, but she was angry, not only at the situation at hand but with herself as well.

Marco was heading towards Fabian's office. He had questions to ask the guy. If he didn't Amelia would shout at him. And probably hex him. As he approached he saw a huge-ish group outside the door, including Max and Zero. There seemed to be some kerfuffle. And Marco, being older than the other students needed to help Max. But then he saw Josh. He hated that guy. Worse than he hated Zero.

"Do you need some help Professor?" he asked Max politely.

Lyra looked up as she noticed new company. She rolled her eyes sarcastically while shaking her head. "What is this? I stinking party or something? Are you two joined at the hip or something?" she scornfully stated to both Zero and Marco, remembering that when school first started, they were always together. "Shoo! No one needs you here!" She was now becoming embarrassed by the whole entire thing happening in front of the school, or so it seemed. She inched slowly backwards again, trying to quietly and unnoticeably escape the crowd and torture.

"Me and Zero joined at the hip? We are never together. Though I reckon he stalks me. I am here to talk to Professor Clark actually. Not to interrupt on any of your matters," Marco smiled. "I don't care if I am needed or not. I wasn't intending on being here for your entertainment."

Fabain scratched the back of his head as he walked down Care of Magical Creatures corridor, "Hmm.. hmmm" he hummed, "this definitely looks like my corridor... and that looks like my office.. annnnd" he pointed towards Professor Max, "he's definitely meeting me here" but then his eyes raked the assembled group with intense curiosity, "but I wasn't expecting company" he mused as his eyes shifted between Josh, Christian, Zero, & Marco before landing on Lyra, then Malory & Aggie.

"Hmmph" he muttered, after taking in their faces, the look on Max wasn't too pleasing. So definitely something wasn't up to....any good. "Humor me?" he crossed arms across his chest and waited for some sort of explanation.

Agie grinned as the Professor entered the group. He wanted an explanation. This wasn't good. They seemed to be getting into a bigger web. Agie had to get out of there, and the only was was to tell Fabian what was happening and then leave, as fast as she could.

"Ahh Fab....Professor Clark." She said smiling sweetly. "You see, everyone thinks that Christian is acting mad, he has been confessing his love for Mallory, who doesn't believe me. I personally believe that Christian is fine, everyone is just looking into it too deeply. I mean if the guy's changed his mind about who he likes, what can be done? Lyra is here to tell Christian, that Zero guy and Marco off for some reason and Josh is here for moral support." She shrugged. "I don't really know why the others are here, probably just to keep an eye on things. Actually I'm not sure why I'm here myself." She said talking very fast.

As she started to head to the door, Agie added "Weeell, If that's all, I might just excuse myself."

Joseph walked down the hallway to Professor Fabian's office. he had a few things he would like to ask him, but, he started hearing voices. When he came upon a group. their seemed to be a large group of students talking about something. He recognized both Professors, Christian, and Lyra, but the rest he didn't know. He walked by an asked, "May I ask what in the world is going on here?"

"Why would I change my mind? I have no reason to change my mind! I love Mallory! Why, in your crazed out minds, would you think that I would fall for someone else, when CLEARLY I love her. You're not looking to deeply...you're just not thinking at all!"

He looked at Mallory with that same dreamlike expression, with the same look in his eye. They appeared to be glazed over slightly, like it really wasn't him thinking and most definetly not him speaking.

Lyra ignored Marco as she was not in the mood to put up with such...stuff at this point. She looked to Agie who spoke to Fabian first. "Ummm...he is not okay. Never before has he acted like this and never before did he say anything about his love for Mallory," she spoke suddenly as she tapped her foot and folded her hands behind her back. "So whatever Christian says," she placed a hand up to stop him but it was too late. "See! There he goes! I have to say that it is not like him. I have never even seen him this clingy to his soccer ball much less another person." She pondered her speech for a moment and then added at a mumble, "Oh by the way, his soccer ball is in your office."

"Not so soon!" he murmured to Aggie in his most amused tone as his right arm slithered around her shoulders to keep her on spot. "You see" he dropped his voice slightly, "Boys.. especially between the ages of lets say fourth year and sixth year.. tend to go" he waved a dramatic hand in the air, "mad" he trailed off in a cheeky grin as his eyes searched Christian for any of this madness they speak off... he seemed normal. Head, shoulders, knees, and toes..all in place and intact.

Fabian's right brow shot right up as his head tilted to one side, last he remembered Christian wasn't the type of person keen to express his emotions loud of enough.. or for an audience. However, Love does wonders. And if he truly believes he loved the girl there wasn't much he can do for him. "Good for you" Fabian mused, "just hold off the engagement for a few years or wait till you come of age. I'm sure her parents will favor that too".

Joseph nodded and smiled. He decided he would be content to just stand and listen. He may be able to offer advice later on.

Lyra's eyes shifted to her uncle's face once more, a look of 'I didn't do it, whatever it was'. "Well, that's fine and dandy on the love end of the stick," she began as her eyes glanced towards Josh for moment, then proceeded back to her uncle. "But the soccer ball has been in there since the last time I was here. Remember? Me...and Jo-...all of us?" She tried to cover herself remembering she never truly finished her conversation with him as he walked back to his office to find her hand in Josh's hair. "I came to get it back to give to Lover Boy over there."

"SEE! At least Mr. Tall Man agrees with me...all you guys are giving me no support on this..." Mr. Tall Man? Meh, names weren't of importance...the only name he wanted to know was (apart from his own) Mallory's. The words soccer weren't registering at all in his head, "What's soccer? I assure you that I don't play soccer. I don't have the time!! I'm too busy thinking about her..." he sighed and continued to look at her, with that glazed, enchanted, look on his face.

"I just arrived here Sir. I came to talk to you. An errand as it were. And Lyra just started having a go at me. I still have yet to figure out why," Marco frowned. "I can come back later if you want Sir. After they..." he looked at Lyra and Josh "Have gone."

About time! Mr. tall man... as Christian put it.. had been gone away for what seemed ages. now seeing that Margaretta was here, he was so ready to bail.Their was the most abhorrent human.. if you could call him that. He was more like a creature born from the fiery of hell to torment others.Oh.. if he wished anyone off this forsaken place.. it would be him. Of course after he kicked his .... "professor." josh called to fabain as he didnt know if he could stand in the presence fo the greatest scum on the planet." I was waiting to talk to you...its rather important."

he felt bad for whatever winch was going to be stuck with this nincompoop. May god have mercy on her soul because he was sure she would kill him."Good . GO! No one asked for your presence. be gone with you." he told him.he then moved towards lyra as he was ready to leave... fabain had enough on his hands.

Lyra's eyebrows raised as she began to snicker lightly. "Mr. Tall Man? Yep, he's okay. He didn't even know your name, Fab-umm-Professor Clark, sir, uncle," she mumbled the last part to herself, trying to keep the student-professor relationship where it needed to be. "And lookie there, he doesn't even know what soccer is." She of course had to be smart and point out the obvious to prove a point.

If looks could kill, Marco would have been #1 on Lyra's list. At this point, she didn't truly know him, but just being around him at the moment annoyed her beyond belief. She labelled him as Zero's friend. "Later would be an excellent idea," her voice mumbled once more as her eyes were narrowly directed towards him. She sighed, turning her attention to more important issues at the moment, her best friend and Josh, who now stood behind her.

Lyra turned to face him, tuning out the world around her for moment. "Josh, this is really bad," she whispered only for them to hear. She turned her head slightly, looking upward, as it was the only thing to do to keep from crying at the moment.

"I know...Just hold on." he told her. " They will sort everything out....Then we can leave..." oh could they fast forward to that moment. he would of comforted her more... but showing more affection wouldnt be so wise."Just hold on.. you know fabain wouldnt let anything happen to you." he assured her.

Mallory's head throbbed all throughout the shouting and arguements. She covered her ears with her hands. Not true. Not true. Everything he says isn't true. He's under some charm or spell or whatever.

She kept thinking that over and over again. "Guys...please...quiet..." she said amongst all the shouting. Obviously no one heard her. But that one last piece of clue. Christian said he didn't know about soccer. "AHA! See? there's something wrong with him, I mean, this is Christian Miles, he's a soccer fanatic. Now he claims he doesn't know anything about it. This means that everything he's saying right now isn't treu." she said triumphantly. Nothing this boy said was true. Not on single thing.

"He must be on some sort of spell, or charm or..." then it hit her. He kept saying he was in love with her..."Potion! Love potion." she gasped. "But how? And why was I...?" she turned quickly to Christian. "Christian, where were you before you found me at the library?"

Lyra picked a particular spot to continuously stare at for a little bit, thinking about the past and now the future. She heard Josh speak but didn't look up as she responded. "It's not me that I'm worried about," her eyes moved to scan his as she bit her lower lip. She turned around to face Christian once more, puzzled. "Look. What is going on? I just don't understand." She lightly shook her head as her voice was still low enough so that only he could hear.

She then heard another voice speak up. At least if there was anyone in this room that agreed with her, it was, of all people, Mallory. "Love potion? Come on, that can't be," she snorted.

"Of course I like animals." Ari answered him giving him an incredified look. Who didn't love animals? Weirdo's. She nudged his shoulder a little bit as they walked towards his office. It seemed there was quite a crowd gathered there.

Agie was just about to reach for the door when Fabian stopped her. Damn! She wanted a clean sweep and now she was stuck. "But Professor, I have homework and Quidditch. You have this under control." She continued.

Agie giggled at his explanation about boys. At least he didn't think anything was wrong. "Great thinking, I agree. Teenage boys are always up to something. They are al..." She stopped suddenly when she heard Mallory. Oh crap. She mentioned love potion.

"Don't be silly Mallory. He has just realised his true feelings for you." She said, trying to convince her.

This was bad. Very bad!

"ari!" Josh said smiling... oh wait... "Hello." he said to her as he waved. He loved the nursed. She was acutally honest with him about the whole kids thing. " having a fun evening?" he asked her. he wanted to get away from everyone... especially Margaretta.

Ari grinned and waved at Josh. "It's been going alright so far. How are you?" She asked him curiously and glanced at the crowd. She leaned and whispered with a teasing grin. "Are you the cause of all these people?" She wouldn't put it past him.

Christian just blinked and kept staring at her, with the same empty look on his face. He frowned at her question, "What does that have to do with my love for you? I was looking for you obviously..."
