Jack looked for the monkey that the Professor had mentioned. He was scared of animals and his heart was already racing when she had said the word monkey.
When he saw it his eyes widened dramatically and he leaned backwards to keep away from it, consequently falling off his stool.

Sitting up when the monkey froze, Natasha held a hand to stop the students, "Don't hurt it, dearlings..." she struggled to push herself off the darned pouffe (she would need better chairs next term), "Armand, could you give me a hand?"
It was embarrassing to ask, but at least she had a good reason to ask for help.

By the time she turned back around, Cassandra had trapped the monkey in Amelia's bag, and petrified it. Amelia's not going to like this, she thought. Hooking the strap of her bag around her foot, sh emoves it away from the Huffie's bag, which had stopped moving around due to the Slytherin prefect's spell.
