Divination Lesson One Natasha Blaylock finally unlocked the trapdoor and made her way up into the dark circular classroom. With a swish of her wand, she drew the curtains and let the sunshine and air in. She stood by a window, watching the scene outside as she waited for the students to trail in. What was going on over at the Care of Magical Creatures compound? It was too far for her to see... |
Armand made his way up and sat at the edge of the trap door, waiting for his wife to notice him. She seemed to be preoccupied with the window. If he clapped, would she jump? |
Gwen creeped into the Divination classroom. It was her first since last term, in which she had been awful. But she'd give it another go. She didn't know much about about Professor Blaylock, but thought she looked rather drawn. "Afternoon, Professor," she said, taking a spot at a nearby table. |
Amelia made her way up to the tallest tower of Hogwarts castle, that of Divination. One of the few reasons that made this trek worth it was the fact that Blaylock was her head of house and her classes were always amusing. As she entered the tower, she noticed that Blaylock did not appear to be there. Of course, taking a second glance, the professor was simply by the window. Placing her bag down near a desk, she walked over to join the professor at the window. "Hello Professor Blaylock. What are you looking at there?" the sixth year asked brightly. |
Erikson glanced at the other students. Did he accidentally go invisible? He was right there, after all. And not a small man to boot. Maybe his wife wouldn't notice him after all. He cleared his throat, hoping to get some attention. |
Turning around at the voices, Natasha found not only her students but also her husband, who was sitting there quietly. A smile lit up her face and she took half a step towards him before she remembered the students' presence. So she settled for a warm smile and a greeting, "Armand..." my love, the unspoken words hung in the air between them. She forced herself to turn to the students, and shook her head at the Hufflepuff prefect, "Nothing I can see, my dear." |
Xana entered the Divination classroom and immediately groaned inwardly to see Professor Erikson. She sighed and took a seat as far from the window - and him-- as she could manage. "Good afternoon, Professor.... er, Professors." she said in a soft voice, arranging her belongings as she sat. |
Ems made her way into the divination classroom. She loved this class purely because it never failed to be entertaining in some way. Chopping livers, people puking up everywhere – great fun! She wandered to the back of the room and took a seat, smiling sweetly at the two professors and waited for the lesson to begin. |
He smiled softly and stood, making his way over to her. He held her close a moment then kissed her softly. "I'm home." He heard Xana's voice and just barely nodded to acknowledge her. |
Cassandra came into the call and nodded toward Blaylock. "Goodafternoon." she said with a smile. She seemed to ignore Erikson completely. |
The hufflepuff turned to see that the herbology professor was there in the tower as well. She was utterly confused by this, as there was only one lesson that she recalled his presence. "Professor Erikson... good afternoon, sir" she said politely to him. Her green eyes peered out the window and she snickered as Blaylock said nothing she could see. She found it odd that a divination professor couldn't see, but then smiled when she realized who the professor in question was. |
Vannie wandered into the classroom, humming under her breath to herself as she always did. The unusually small hufflepuff smiled at both the professors in the classroom before she sat down at a desk in the middle of the classroom. The girl pulled out a piece of parchment and a quill before began to look like staring into space. |

Cheeks burning at having witnesses for this, their first meeting in months, Natasha returned her husband's embrace before pulling back a moment later. It wouldn't do to have them running to the headmistress or their parents about their teachers snogging in classrooms. Even so, her hand held on to his tight, as if it went against everything within her to let go of him. Not now, not so soon. "Um..." her voice wavered, she'd forgotten why the classroom was filled with students, "Good afternoon, everyone." She stole a quick glance at Armand from the corner of her eyes, just to make sure he was still there, "We'll wait til the rest of your classmates make the trek up here before we begin." And for me to gather my thoughts. |
Delilah stepped into the classroom and said "Hello Proffesor's" giving them both a polite nodd and smile then taking a seat in the front. |
He chuckled softly and squeezed her hand tightly. "Figured I'd come and help out. You've made yourself a hard woman to find, my dear," he said softly. "Been busy?" |
Rhiannon walked into the Divination classroom, excited that there was finally going to be a class. She nodded at the professors in the room before glancing around to find a seat. Seeing Amelia, she works her way over to an empty desk next to the one she is at, and sits down. She places her bag on the floor, slipping some parchment and a pen out of it, ready for taking notes. |
Delilah turned in her seat and saw Emily. Standing up with her belongings she took the seat next to Emily. "Hello" she said taking out her quill. |
Claudian entered Divinations, preparing to enjoy himself to the fullest extent. He was a bit afraid that there wouldn't be any Divinations classes this term. He smiled at Professor Blaylock and took a seat over towards the front of the class. |
Amelia pries her eyes away from the window at the sound of the two professors talking quietly and in a loving embrace. She made a mental note of this scene which would be perfect for her next quill article. Deciding to give the professors a moment to talk, she made her way back to her seat where she found Rhiannon had already spotted where she would be seating. "Hello Rhian," she said, slipping into her seat and taking out some notes. |
"Are you saying I'm short?" she asked, squeezing his hand softly, "And thank you... I'm afraid I've been tiring too easily these past few months." She gave him a significant look, her hand itching to reach for her belly to drill the message clear into his brain. But now was not the place nor time for this conversation. Smiling at her secret, she turned her full (or... most of it anyway) attention on the class, "Congratulations on surviving the climb, dearlings," The clock said she still had a few more minutes before shutting the trapdoor, "I apologize in advance if I appear distracted during today's lesson." |

It took him a moment. A serious moment. But a look of realization dawned on him, and it was horrifically hard to keep it under a mask. Still a small grin came to him. He waited patiently for the class to get settled and his wife to start her lesson. |
Smiled at the proffesor and said "Its okay Proffesor." She then sent a small nodd in Emily's direction. |
Jack sat at a free desk, always slightly sceptical about Divination. He raised his eyebrow and the weird happenings between the two Professors but decided to ignore it, instead taking out a quill, ink and parchment. |
