Small round tables seating no more than eight are scattered around the room. You'll be forced to sit with people from other houses, but that's a good thing!

Excelsior carefully slicked back his hair with his comb, he was, after all, the Fonz and had to look the part. He set his plate down on one of the tables and took a seat. The first thing he did was taste the Coca Cola, it really was delicious, he could now understand what all the muggles were talking about when they said how delicious this beverage was, it was almost as good as a butterbeer. Happily, he took a bite of his cheeseburger. |

As Adam wandered over to the tables, he spotted a Slytherin boy sitting at one of the tables. In the interest of getting to know a few more of his students, Adam made a beeline for that table and sat down unceremoniously without asking permission.
He pointed at the bottle of Cola the boy was sampling and said 'That's good stuff - or at least it is til you find out what the secret ingredients are...'

Rosalie entered the great hall wearing the gold satin, and white lace dress she had found. The dress was one that renewed her faith in fifties fashion. Before buying it, she had been torn between this dress, and the well known Sandy outfit from Grease. She was happy with her choice however.
To accompany the dress she wore a pare of golden heals that looked like more of a death trap than a fashion statement. She managed not to stumble once in them as she moved across the room, and towards an empty table. She hoped that Ryder would be along soon, as dances alone were pretty dull. Sure, she loved dancing, but it was supposed to be a social affair.
Rosalie seated herself at an empty table, and pulled her long auburn hair over her shoulder. She had worked her waist lenght hair into one thick curl, and tied it in a ponytail with a gold satin ribbon. It wasn't a color she often wore, but she was trilled by the choice today. The only jewelry she wore was a necklace. The necklace has a delicate gold chain, with a pearl attached every few inches.

Loking around she fiddled with her necklace and bracelet.She got up and headed to the buffet table to get another drink and a snack.Her black heels hidden beneath the black skirt she wearing which matched perfectly with the pink and brown shirt she wore.She walked smoothly in her heels even though she had only wore them once before this.

Katelyn skipped to the tables, glad the had finally spotted someone the knew.
"SHO!" she shrieked, skidding to a halt right beside the table he had chosen to sit at. She gave him a HUGE hug, and laughed. She was actually in an ok mood.
"My word, you look SPIFFY," she said, laughing a bit. She had decided to wear a royal blue sweat with a jean skirt and blue converses-she actually tried to stick with her house colors this time.

Jolie slipped down onto a seat around an empty table. She ran her fingers through her tousled blonde hair and tugged on her pink top nervously. Jolie had never been to a muggle event before and was quite unsure if her outfit blended in enough.
Jolie left her shirt alone and moved to pinching her large pink hoops. Her grey and green eyes scanned the party room - hoping for a familiar face.

Rosalie shivered when the door opened, and a cold draft touched her bare shoulders. Curiously, she turned her chair so she could watch people come in. When she saw Jolie, Rosalie smiled. She'd not seen Jolie in ages. At one point they had been friends.
Keeping her eyes on the Ravenclaw, Rosalie raised her hand and waved at her in acknowledgement. Maybe they'd get a chance to catch up with one another. After she waved, Rosalie dropped her hand, and played with the single auburn curl hanging over her shoulder.

The moment that Angela had stepped into the hall, she was greeted by a blast of music and the sight of excited chattering students. This was absolutely wonderful! Feeling like a student again, as the excitement of the children was rather contagious, Angela weaved between the available tables until she selected one in the middle; close to the band, but far enough to hold a conversation without yelling.
She seated herself, placing a small bag on the floor next to her. As she glanced up, she noticed another professor. Dresden was his name, she believed. Tossing a friendly wave his way, Angela turned her attention to the band and dance floor. | |
