I am very pleased to announce our next Gryffindor of the month, as chosen by myself, your prefect and quidditch captain:
Nytingale
Again Kerry Brandywine conducted a little interveiw, with her questions in red, with answers in purple. *Congratulations on being picked Gryffindor of the Month. Tell us, how did you feel when you found out? I was so excited I ran around everywhere screaming until I tripped and fell in the lake. That kinda calmed me down. Then I went to my dorm and celebrated by eating, like, eleventy-milllion chocolate frogs. *For those of use who don’t know you, will you tell us a little about yourself? Well my name is Rilen Taylie Green. I am a first year and an only child to a pureblood family. My parents work for the Ministry of Magic in an undercover division. I don’t know what they actually do, but because of there job we have to live as muggles at all times. Just after I was born they had to go into hiding so I lived with my Granny for the first three years of my life. That is when my magic education began. My Granny used to tell me stories about my twin sister, but my parents say that the stories are made up. Granny told me that the reason that I was sent to Hogwarts was to find out the truth about my life. *So are you enjoying being in Gryffindor? I love being a Griffindor. Everyone is diverse and yet we all have the same need to be the best. Plus, we're like,awesome at earning house points! *What do you think are the qualities that make a Gryffindor unique? We are super brave and never afraid of succeeding! *Now you’re a new student this term. Tell us, what do you think about Hogwarts? What were some of your first impressions and how does it compare to how things are going now? I really like Hogwarts, When I first got here I was amazed at how big it is, but now I'm pretty comfortable. It's become my home. Well until I can return to Granny's I guess. I thought the students were all really nice, but now that people are showing their true personalities I've found out not everyone plays nice all the time. Just like in the muggle world. *What do you enjoy most about Hogwarts? I love the freedom. As long as we follow the rules we are free to do what ever we want. That is something that I don’t have in my outside life. So to be able to do what makes me happy is wonderful. Oh, and the food if I am not studying or doing homework you will probably find me in the Great Hall eating. Well that or tripping over my own feet. *Do you have a favorite subject or Professor yet? Well my favorite subject is Arithmancy because I love numbers. They just make me feel good. My favorite Professor is Professor Lainey, because she is so entertaining. The classes are fun and she always shows up in costumes or with cool things. *As a first year, did you arrive at Hogwarts with any certain expectations? Do they compare with what you’ve seen and experienced so far? I really didn't know what to expect. I've seen plenty though! I've even had a "friend" fake a drowning in the lake. Things are definitely different than anything I imagined. *What is the most memorable moment you’ve had at Hogwarts so far? The most memorable moment that I have had so far was meeting my bestest friend ever. I felt so lost and it just helped to have someone to be lost with to make me feel comfortable. Krissy is pretty cool even though she tends to hang out with those... Hufflepuffs. As long as she is here I know that I am not the craziest person in the room. *Did you watch the Quidditch match? What did you think of Gryffindor winning the cup? Are you enjoying the ongoing party in the common room? I have not missed a match the entire term. I knew we would win the cup. We have the best fliers in the air. The party is rocking and the butterbeer is flowing. Could it get any better? *What do you think of the fact that Gryffindor may sweep the Hogwarts cups this term? (Quidditch and House Cups) May sweep! Oh, I’m sure that we will sweep the cups this year. We are the most athletic and the smartest house here how can we lose. One down, One to go!!! *What are your thoughts about Miss Agatha Swensa?? Do you think the ministry really needs someone watching over us here at Hogwarts? I don’t like the idea of her being here. It means that there are plans in motion that we may not know about yet. No, I do not think the ministry needs someone watching over us. They use their power to control people too much. I may be biased because of my parents careers though. *What do you think of the grumblings about a teacher being fired? I have heard the grumblings, and I am hoping that they are just rumors. All the teachers that I have met here are amazing people. They know so much about there subjects and they work hard to help us learn. I have not seen anyone slacking off and that would be the only reason to fire a teacher. *Did you attend the sock hop and what did you think of it? Was it everything you expected? I attended the sock hop for a little while just long enough to show off my beautiful purple dress robes, hand out Yule gifts, and start a couple of arguments. Actually things went the way that I expected them to.I had tons of fun and lots of candy. *Now that the term is nearing it’s end. What are your thoughts looking back on all the events that have happened so far? After all it has been said that there is never a dull moment at Hogwarts, from what you have experienced so far,. Would you agree with this? There is absolutely never a dull moment here. There are people having seizures, throwing up on teachers, and romances. Also dances, fights, and Quidditch matches. With so much going on there is no time to be bored. Plus my best friend talks Gaelic in her sleep. I can't even be bored when I'm trying to sleep! *Is there anyone here at Hogwart’s you’d say you admire and why? If you could ask that person a question, what would it be and why? The person I admire the most is Professor Rae-Branxton. She is an awesome headmistress, teacher, wife and mother. If I could as her one question it would be simply, “How does she do it?” or “ How did she meet her husband?”. I’ve always wondered about that. *What do you think you will bring out from Hogwarts once you will leave? The things that I hope to bring with me is faith in my powers, confidence in myself, and terrific friendships. *Do you have any advice or parting words for you fellow Gryffindors? Be Loud! Be Proud! Let them hear you Roar! | |
