Professor Blaylock flicked her wand to open the trapdoor leading into her class and lower the silver stepladder. She sat in the middle of the circular room on an ottoman, with several very old books surrounding her. The classroom is scattered with small circle tables with three to four beanbags surrounding each.
She looked over at the clock on the other side of the room and noted that it was still a bit early.

Katelyn peered inside the classroom first before stepping inside. She was one of the first here...she plopped down in a chair, and sighed as she drummed her fingers on the top of her desk. SHe didnt like being first...there was barely anyone and she felt weird. She shrugged the feeling off, and tucked some hair behind her ear before taking out her books for this class. Hmph...I wonder if Ems'll come? she asked herself with a slight grin...

Jasmine climbed though the trapdoor and gave Professor Blaylock a bright smile. "Hi Professor Blaylock!" She would have given her a hug too but, she knew it wouldn't be proper in class.
Looking around, she found a seat right in front and opened her bookbag to retrieve her parchment and quill. She wrote Divination Lesson One at the top of the page and waited nervously for class to begin.
Divination was not her best subject. Mostly because she was always to afraid to look to far ahead. The way her life had been going, she assumed she would just be killed soon. But, now that she would soon have a family, she wanted to make sure she stayed around as long as she could and she wasn't going down without a fight.

The first thing he did when he had entered the class was look around for somewhere to sit. Beanbags? Ugh, how... sigh. His bright blue eyes skimmed the room until he had found a place where he couldn't be close to a lot of people. Walking up to the table, he eyed the beanbag. If he must. Slowly, Kingston sat himself on the beanbag. Trying to make himself sit up straight, he got very frustrated.

Divination wasn't exactly his strongest subject, but there was no harm in trying was there? Clifford nodded at his fellow Slytherins as he wandered into the circular room and took a seat on a comfy beanbag. He chuckled as he bounced on it a little. If he didn't understand the lesson at least he could have fun beanbag-bouncing.

Professor Blaylock greeted each student with a reserved smile, although a slight crinkling around her eyes suggested that she had a joke she would have loved to share with them all.
She shook her head at the young Kingston Wendleworth of the Derbyshire Wendleworths. "Be thankful that there are beanbags, Mr. Wendleworth, instead of stone and dirt which was all the first human beings had to sit on."
Looking at the clock again, she noted that it was still a bit early, "We'll wait a wee bit longer for the rest of your classmates."

Greeting the newcomers, Professor Blaylock heard the comment from Kingston and barely resisted the urge to roll her eyes. "Perhaps you would prefer an impersonal classroom with long tables and wooden benches, Mr. Wendleworth, but this room has always been this way. Perhaps you would offer your redecorating tips after the lesson."
She turned back to the book she was perusing to prepare for the upcoming lesson, not without sneaking another look at the clock. Two more minutes and she would shut the trapdoor and begin the lesson.

Hair loose down her back with only a headband to hold back her bangs, Lindsey hurried to class with her books in her arms and bag on her shoulder. Fortunately, she had made it on time, and she smiled brightly at the Professor as she realized this. "Hello Professor Baylock," she smiled before she scanned the classroom and found an empty bean bag beside Kingston. Beanbag? Nice! Much better than the hard chairs she'd been sitting in all day.
"Hi Kingston," she smiled. "May I accompany you during this class?"
