This is where 1+ year old Damian Erikson sleeps and plays while his mum and dad are busy teaching. A house elf watches over him, and is ready to hex the first person to come in and threaten the child. Protective wards are in place to ensure his safety.
Professor Blaylock is very nervous about having people visit her child, but now that Damian is older she allows her other staff members and the occasional student to come in and have a look. But only with her permission. | |

He watched as she played with Damian, then suddenly looked up at his suggestion. "The Ministry is recommending her to a home of some sort, since she no longer has a home to go to. But it would take her out of Hogwarts. I know I don't speak of her much, but she's really nearly become a daughter to me as is, since I first met her in our first terms. Natasha blinked, thinking it over. Jasmine Kavanaugh...she was a sweet girl, and she recalled the time she'd joined in with the singing when Natasha had covered a Herbology lesson. A slow smile spread on her lips as she started to imagine it.
She'd have two children. A beautiful teenage girl to be a sister for her wonderful son. Another addition to their family.

He pulled the tie from his hair, letting it hang loose and running his hands through it. The burnt area had been repaired, and was longer already, but he still could tell it wasn't as it had been before. "You don't have to fuss so much, you know."

Jasmine nervously took a couple of deep breaths before she climbed through the trapdoor. She patted her hair that she had painstakingly tried to braid herself in an attempt to be as presentable as possible. She then brushed at her clothes and straightend them. Her hands shook as she read the parchment Professor Erikson had sent her. Tucking it safely away, she took another breath, climbed up and approached the entrance to the nursery, knocking softly.

Her hand automatically went to twirl her hair, but, she forgot she had braided it. So with nothing else to do she clasped her hands behind her back and bit her bottom lip.

Nodding, she sat down next to him and her face broke out into a huge smile as she looked at Damian.
"Hi Damian." She said softly so as not to startle the little guy.
Looking up at the professor she confessed, "I am nervous Professor Erikson. I don't want to mess anything up. I tried to look my best... " Jasmine patted nervously at her braid again. It was a little crooked, but still quite presentable. She glanced again around the nursery anticipating Professor Blaylock's return.

Natasha heard voices in the nursery and took a deep breath before stepping in with a huge smile. "Hello, Jasmine, I took the liberty of preparing some tea, and biscuits. We've got chocolate chip, oatmeal and raisins and of course, ginger biscuits. Which are my favourite. I think we have some shortbread if you'd prefer that, but I'm not much of a fan, although they do taste marvelous with tea."
She stopped, put the tray down and smiled sheepishly, "Sorry...I babble."
