It was another crisp Spring day with a few white puffy clouds in the sky and Professor Vindictus whistled cheerfully as he walked out onto the pitch. The equipment box was floating a few feet in front of him and he lowered it to the ground. With a few flicks of his wand, the locks were undone and the lid popped open.
In the distance, the excited chattering sounds of students could be heard as they entered the stadium and found their seats.

"Welcome to the Hogwarts Quidditch Championship Game!" Vindictus announced to the crowd and they went wild, so he made his voice even louder. "Today, we have the Lions of Gryffindor House taking on the defending champions, the Badgers of Hufflepuff House!" As if on cue, the teams flew out onto the pitch and the sound was deafening. He checked off each name and nodded his approval.
Since no one could hear him, he posted the rosters for all to see:

Vindictus reversed the Sonorus spell and spoke directly to the teams overhead. "Now, I want a clean game from both of you. No hexing or jinxing, tampering with the equipment, wearing invisibility cloaks, or any flagrant fouls," he said sternly because he knew this would be an intense game. With a swift kick to the equipment trunk, the Bludgers and Golden Snitch went flying into the sky. "The game will start when the Quaffle is tossed into the air. On my whistle . . . one . . . two . . . THREE!" A shrill whistle was heard and the red Quaffle was tossed into the sky overhead.
Remember, the first Quaffle question is for both teams' Chasers ONLY.
