Default Hogwarts Ground Rules

The Grounds Rules

***ALL students READ please***

In-Character
  • At no point should any student be wandering in the Forbidden Forest. It is forbidden for a reason and the school will not take responsibility for any injuries. A detention shall be issued though.
  • No fighting on my grounds. If I catch anyone dueling, whether it be with magic or fists, will find themselves with a point deduction or in detention.
  • Be kind to any animals you may come across.
  • If any problems arise on the grounds, report to one of the groundkeepers office and report to them immediately. It is important you follow this.
  • Other members of school staff (including prefects) should be respected at all times. Their word is law. You should also show respect to your fellow classmates.

Out of Character
  • OOC excessively in the grounds will result in a warning. Occasional OOC's I do not mind, but if you MUST tell someone that you or going out for dinner etc. I would rather you used the PM facility.
  • You do anything stupid and dangerous that is life threatening you will probably be put into consideration to join the deceased usergroup. Even wizards aren't immortal.
  • No special powers. This is highly uncanon and I am sure Harry Potter didn't come across many pyromaniacs or mind readers. Animagus is a rare ability and you will unlikely have it in your school years. If you wish to have a more canon power, such as metamorphmagus PM Cassirin first for confirmation.
  • All SS rules and school rules apply in the grounds at all times. This means no swearing, sexual or drug references, self harming, snogging etc.
  • I urge you to use the grounds responsibly to maintain fun for everyone; including yourself.
  • No playing two characters as it is against the school RPG rules. You are also reminded that you are not permitted to make any threads in the grounds.
