As you enter the room, Professor Maline has made a circle out of her benches, and beanbags, and in the middle of it is a large cage with a small creature with a light in it's hand. It seems whispy, and like it only has one leg.

You notice that Ophelia's arm is in plaster, and she gestures for you to take a seat, a warm smile upon her face. Cookies and Juice are beside every seat.

Katelyn hugged her books tightly as she entered this classroom. It sort of made her sad, for this was Dans favorite class, and he wasnt here with to have it with her. But she pasted a smile on her cute face, and waved at the professor. She didnt say anything, too shy, but did indeed notice Professor Maline's arm. She wondered what had had happened to it, but didnt ask. She took a seat, and noticed she was the only one there so far. Oh well, more would come with time.

Kimberly took a seat on one of the benches, waved to the professor, and stared at the hinkypunk thinking. She knew why the professor had her arm plastered-it was an injury from the battle.

Ari walked in, a smile on her face, which was still a bit swollen and the darkness around her eye was still visible. But her spirirts were up and she smiled, glad the professor was okay. "Hello professor Maline." she said warmly, her eyes twinkling. She had forgotten all about what had happpened, though it still hung with her. She took out her books and was prepared for a goood class.

Chloe entered the classroom with a smile on her face, she loved this class, it had to be her favorite class by far. she quickly found a seat and sat down, she then noticed that the only people in the classroom was her and 3 other people she didn't know.

Ophelia gave a small weak smile to the class, she was still tired from what had happened in the hall, but she had a class to teach, and this one was later than she had originally planned to hold it. "Hello everyone, it's an easy lesson again, and i think i'll wait to see if there are any more coming." She smiled gently.

Katelyn nodded at the professor as she spoke, and took out her handy notebook and quill. She bit her lip as she wrote her name in that neat handwriting of hers, the date, and class. All her notes were like this, organized and neat. She finished her scribbling, and gently set down her quill and folded her hands on her lap, waiting patiently.

Ali stepped into the room and looked around, staring at the bean bags and the way the benches were arranged. Turning to look at the Professor, he smiled and said, "Hello, Professor Maline." He noticed that her arm was in plaster, but didn't stare.

Taking a seat, he waited for the class to begin. Ali thought that he had heard her say that it was an easy lesson, which was good. Ravenclaw needed their points.

Ari sat more comfortable, glad it would be an easy lesson. She still needed to get more essence of Ditany on her face but it could wait. The stuff she used the night before had taken the pain away. She wrote down the lesson in her notebook and waited, smiling.

Agie walked in as sat next to Ari. "Good morning professor" she said and she got out her things, ready to work.

Ryan burst into room, afraid that he was late. Looking a little confused, he looked at the beanbag, back at Professor Maline, and then plopped down into a beanbag. He saw the little creature in the cage and was immediately drawn to the light it was holding. "I wonder what that's for," he thought.

Jolie quietly slipped in to the Care of Magical Creatures area. She held her books carefully against her chest and held her wand tightly in the other hand. Picking a beanbag a little farther away from everyone else Jolie took out a piece of parchment and a quill, ready to write down anything the Professor said.

"I think we'll start," Professor Maline smiled warmly, "Right, first off, the cookies and juice are there for you to snack on through out the class, i'm sure some of you could be feeling a bit stunned over recent happenings with Mr Montague and attacks on the school, and food and drink always helps." Professor Maline said, studying the faces of the class carefully.

"Secondly, can anyone take an educated guess as to what that, might be?" Professor Maline asked the class, gesturing to the smoke in the glass, a small smile upon her face.

Kimberly gave the professor an encouraging smile when she saw the pain of her injury written all over her face, she also saw Ryan walk into class. "Hey Ryan!" she waved and patted the seat next to her motioning for him to come sit down next to her.

Ari smiled warmy at the professor as she took a glass of juice and raised her hand. "A Hinkypunk professor." she said happily. She was always curious about this creature and was thrilled to be havng this lesson.

Jolie glanced over as Professor Maline talked about snacks and juice. Of course that had been a bit scary.. the whole thing going on in the Great Hall. Jolie's focus, however, quickly was brought to attention when the professor asked a question.

Studying the creature for only a moment, she raised her hand and chanced a guess. "A hinkypunk?" Jolie said.

Katelyn glanced at the cookies and juice next to her, but didnt touch either. She looked back at the professor, listening intently to what she was saying. She might have some cookies and drink later, but right now she didnt much feel like eating or drinking. She scribbled down something in her notebook, and then looked back at the professor. She didnt dare raised her hand, she hated being wrong and she was way too shy.

Ali's eyes looked over to the cookies and juice, then back at her when she mentioned what Mr Montague had been doing. He then stared at the one legged creature for a few seconds, then raised his hand.

"That's a Hinkypunk, isn't it, Professor?"

Ryan heard his name called, turned and saw Kimberly, and waved at her. He saw her motioning for him to come sit down with her, so he got up and made his way over to her (picking up juice and a cookie in the process).

He stuffed the cookie in his mouth and tried to talk (not a very smart idea). "Hey Kimbuwee. 'Ow yoo?" Ryan blushed a bit as cookie chunks flew from his mouth. He hoped none of them had rained upon Kimberly.

Then he sat down and took out some paper and a quill. Ryan got to work sketching the strange creature in the cage. When he was satisfied with his drawing, he wrote in large letters at the top of the page, "Hinkypunk."

He then prepared to take some notes.

Si sat there for a moment and was going to attempt to do a sketch of the Hinkypunk but didn’t know how he could sketch a smoke like creature so he just took notes about it appearance.

Professor Maline nodded with a smile, "You're all right, it's a Hinkypunk can any of you tell me what it could possibly be formed of?" She asked again, using her wand to tease the Hinkypunk in the cage.

Kimberly grimaced as food crumbs came flying out of Ryan's mouth, but using quick wand work she turned them into butterflys that instantly fluttered away. " Kimbuwee's fine thanks for asking!" she smiled and added "this should be an interesting lesson, hinkypunks and all."
