Adam entered the staff room for the first time. He looked around to see if it contained the exciting things it had been rumored to when he was at Hogwarts, but he saw, as he'd expected, it was just a normal room.

Adam also noticed the room was decidedly empty, and he busied himself finding a clean glass

Danni walked through the Staff room door and quickly spotted Adam fidling around with the drinking glasses, she crept up behind him quietly and jumped on his back. "Boo!" she cried with a grin, "Dont worry, the House elves clean them all every night, or at least thats what I'm told." she added refering to the glasses.

"Pumpkin Juice?" he asked as he picked up the bottle.

"It's... different" Adam replied to Danni's question about his experiences so far. "Sometimes it's hard to be 'professional' when we're not really all that much older than the students" he added, taking a sip of the Pumpkin Juice.

Danni smiled innocently as she took the glass from Adam, "Of course not, this is a school, we dont have fire whiskey." her smiled turned slightly less innocent as she leaned over and tapped Adam's glass with her wand, then her own. "I love Transfiguration." she said with a sigh as she leaned back and drank some of her newly transfigured firewhiskey. Not to much of course.

Danni nodded, "Aye, maturity is all in the head." she said tapping her temple, "Which means of course, I should be a first year." she added with a cheeky grin. Remembering something she spoke again, "Its especially hard with this one girl I met. Chloe Agoobwah I think her name is. Girl after my own heart." she layed her hand on her heart dramaticly, "It takes all my strength not to plot with her."

"Isnt she funny?" Danni raised her eyebrows as Adam mentioned De Luca, "De Luca? I havent spoken to her that much but she didnt strike me as 'evil'. I dont know why she would think that." she said in a puzzled voice.

She grinned smugly as Adam mentioned pranking professors, "Chloe and I have an agreement in the area, she doesnt prank me, I dont prank her. You on your own there my friend."

Armand walked in and sat in one of the chairs, waiting for Natasha to join him. "Goodness... I didn't think I'd want to be away from the students so soon."

Danni jumped as another professor entered the room, "Hello there, Danni Pride, Transfiguration." she said sticking out her hand, "And yes, you'll want to leave them very quickly, I learned that last term." she said with a grin.

"Ah, Armand...you shouldn't swear." Natasha said as she walked in behind him. She smiled and gave a little wave to her colleagues, "Hello, Professor Pride, Dresden." she said his name with a curt nod.

She poured herself a cup of tea before sitting beside Armand, "You know...I don't believe a word that student said about a ghost being in that hallway."

Well enough, so long as students don't go around planting my seeds without my permission.

Natasha smiled at the young woman uncertainly. Professor Pride has always been a bit og an enigma to Natasha, with her sense of style and mannerisms. She was what Natasha figured she could never be - cool. "Yes, Natasha, and you're Danni, yes? At least, that's what I've heard people call you before." She said, ashamed that they'd been colleagues for a whole year and yet had never spoken 2 words to each other. And yet...here she was picking up some mixed signals between the other two occupants of the room.

She turned back to Armand (oh..what a sight he made in that chair in this majestic room), "True...but I am curious though. I suppose I'll have to satisfy myself later by seeking out the girl and asking her what was actually going on."

Turning back to the others, to include them in the conversation, she asked "So, what do you all think of this Tournament we're holding? I sure wish they had one when I was a student here."

Natasha laughed, "Honestly, Armand..."their day". Now you're just making us sound OLD!"

She turned to the other professors, and as she did so her eyes caught sight of the huge grandfather clock on the other side of the room. "Oh dear...I'm afraid I'm going to have to make a swift exit, or else I'll have my students waiting for me!" She got up and waved a cheery goodbye to the rest, wishing she could drag Armand back to her tower with her...sounded quite fairy-talish there, she thought with a small smile.

"It was nice meeting you, Danni and Professor Dresden. I'll look you up next I come down from my tower..." she said with a wistful sigh. "See you later, Armand." With that she left the cozy staff room and headed back to her oh so isolated section of the castle.

"See you..." He watched her leave and sighed, vaguely glad that his class wasn't for a few hours yet. He was tempted to follow, seeing as how it seemed impossible to just sit and talk with her. And come to think of it, he'd Never gotten permission to call her anything but Professor Blaylock. He leaned back in his seat, slightly frowning.

Not seeming to have much patience he stood. "As it would probably be poor taste to have to rush for my class, I suppose I should be going as well. Perhaps you two would like to come watch." He bowed slightly to them and excused himself from the room.

A tawny owl soared into the room as the door opened when a man walked out. It flew across the room quickly, dropped a note into Professor Pride's lap, then zoomed out the door that was just closing. The note read:

Armand walked into the staff room, a little worn out. He hated to break himself from his work, but he knew he wouldn't sleep for days if he didn't. Not to mention, Natasha would be coming in a little later. Thinking back to his office he blushed a little and hoped no one saw. He sat down, getting some rest and waiting.

Outside the window - what is that thing passing by? A dancing broom? Why yes indeedy! It's doing the high kick. Left up! Right up! Left up! Right up! Oh where, oh where is the rest of the chorus line?! this is only a chorus line of one. How sad. Left up! Right up! The broom's bouncing kicks take it beyond the window's view.

Armand blinked, having sworn he just saw a dancing broom outside the window. He shook his head, thinking he needed more rest than he'd originally thought.
