Neva walks in and stops at Professor Pride. "Love the look" she says smiling. She turns on her heel and sits at a seat at the front row. She wanted a good view of her favourite lesson.

Julia entered the classroom and suddenly stopped as she look at Professor Pride. What the...? "Professor, what did you do?" She stared at her with wide eyes, most definitely not liking the green hair. The blue eyebrows were cool though.

Emily walked into the room and immediately received a shock. Professor Pride's hair was green! She looked closer and realized that her eyebrows were also blue! Not wanting to stare, she merely said, "That's an interesting look, Professor. I can see this will be an interesting lesson today." She walked to the desks and took a seat a few places away from Neva. She pulled out her things and awaited the beginning of the lesson.

Prancing in the classroom, Evan blinked several times at the sight of prof. Pride. Before he could even conceive of a question, several students nearby commented on her look, so he curiously pended on an answer. I must be out of touch with the latest fashion... he told himself as he took a seat somewhere in the middle of the row.

Jordana made her way to class and was in rather good spirits. She still had Tina's bag slung over her shoulder and she had yet to run into her. Before the day was through she would look for her and give her back what she left in the library.

Looking over at Professor Pride, she gave her a smile. Her brow furrowed a bit when she saw the state of her eyebrows and hair. Perhaps it was a new trend from London. She made a mental note to write her best friend and ask about the newest fashion trends.

Making her way to the back of the class she stopped when she saw Evan. Walking over to him she took the seat next to him and flashed him a smile.

Evy entered the classroom and sat down in her usual seat. She began to pull her books and quills out of her bag, when she suddenly caught a glimpse of Professor Pride's new look. She opened her mouth in disbelief and tried to resist the urge to giggle like a first-year.

Lua made it to transfiguration class in rush, just as she entered she made a halt in front of the professor, I remember! Someone turned her eyebrows fluorescent yellow once and so was Nik's if only she found out who it was. This would be on great lesson to learn, yes it would.

She forced herself to walk again and took a seat behind evan, maybe she would turn his eyebrows into fluro yellow one day.

Sini walked into th room and saw the Professor's new look, it made her smile. "Good afternoon Professor, I am looking forward to see what you have in store for us all today." She turned and walked back to the desks, finding herself a seat towards the front of the room. Placing her bag down she took her parchment, quill and ink out and got herself ready to learn.

Cassandra walked in and saw the professor. She had Green hair... She wished she could have green hair to show her Slytherin Pride! She smiled at the professor and nodded as she made her way to her seat.

Danni hopped off her desk and stood in front of the class. "Ok everyone, today isnt really a practical use of Transfiguration, just a bit of fun. Everyone take out your wands and please pay attention up here." Pride said with a grin as she twirled a bit of green hair around her finger.

"You may try both of the things I did." she said pointing to her hair and eyebrows, "Diadius Foleculem is the incantation. Simply point your wand at either your eyebrows or your hair, say the name of the color and the incantation. Sea Green Diadius Foleculem!" Danni's hair changed color slightly from the bright green, to the exact shade of the ocean on a calm day.

Neva smiles. I love this spell she thinks enthusiasticly. She takes her wand from her pocket and does as the Professor demonstrated. She points her wand to her hair and says clearly " White Diadius Foleculem". her hair turns the colour of pure snow. She pulls out her mirror and looks at her hair. "Not bad" she says, looking impressed. She decides to keep the colour... for the moment.

Julia hopped into a seat just as Danni started talking. The woman still hadn't answered her question, but it was answered soon enough. They were changing hair color today. Oh, great. Julia already knew how to do this, because she had turned Bucky's hair purple one year. So she simply leaned back in her chair and watched everyone around her, wondering who would make a good target today.

Not entirely sure if this was something she wanted to do, Jordana reluctantly took out her wand and listened to the Professor's instructions. Raising her wand she pointed it at her hair and said, "Blood Red Diadius Foleculem." An odd sensation came over hair and she knew that her her color hand changed. Glancing at a long strand of hair that hung over her eye, she could see her hair was blood red. "Great." she said in a disappointed tone.

Cassandra smiled at the Professor. She looked around and saw other students trying it.

She pointed her wand at her hair and spoke the charm "Slytherin Green Diadius Foleculem" She placed the wand on her desk and with her two forefingers, pulled some hair up to her eye level. Her gain blended perfectly with her robes. She clapped her hands together, and suddenly stopped. She didn't realize she gave a little outburst. She looked at the professor and said "Sorry, but this is just so cool! How long will it last?"

Evan couldn’t believe the professor’s words. It was one thing that she had played with the colour of her hair and eyebrows, but he somehow felt reluctant about doing the same. He watched Jordana cast the spell and her rather sulky look as she checked out her now blood-red hair. Evan pursed his lips. Changing the colour of his hair was not on his check list for today. Nevertheless, he was in class, and he wasn’t feeling rebellious that day. “Grey Diadius Foleculem!” he uttered with a wicked smile. As he turned towards Jor, he saw her surprised expression. Evan leaned over and whispered in her ear: “This will be my look in 40 years…” His eyes quickly darted back to prof. Pride’s form, pending for her next move.

"If it was a weak spell it will only last a few hours, maybe a day. If it was a strong spell, then it wont wear off until you change it back." Danni said with a grin. She pointed her wand at her eyebrows and they instantly changed back to their dark, redish brown.

"This is the coolest class ever." Trelane grinned. He pointed his wand at his hair. "Golden Yellow Diadius Foleculim." Nothing happened. He frowned. "What'd I do wrong?"

Cassandra hoped that her spell was strong... but as a second year, the reality was that it would fade after a day. She could still hope. She picked up her wand again and pointed it to her eyebrows "Slytherin Green Diadius Foleculem!" Her eyebrows now matched her hair... she hoped.

"Try saying, foleculem instead of foleculim. Be very careful how you pronounce things class, you dont want to end up with a whale in here do you?" Danni asked with a grin, remembering an experience when she was 7 and had gotten ahold of her fathers wand.

His eyes got wide. "You're kidding, right?" He shook his head. "Right. Careful." He pointed his wand at his hair again. "Golden Yellow Diadius Foleculem." His hair changed to the color of molten gold. "Ooohh... I like this one."

Dez smiled as they began the lesson. After thinking for a moment she pointed her wand at her hair and said "Purple Diadius Foleculem" She shook some of her hair into her face to see and extreemly purple color "Wow" she murmered.

Torie grinned at the antics of her fellow classmates. She loved that they were learning this spell, and everyone seemed to be getting along pretty well.
Taking out her wand, she pointed it at her messy blond hair and spoke loudly and clearly: "Mango Diadius Foleculem!" Instantly, her pale hair turned a fiery luscious orange colour. It was brilliant! Torie pulled the end of her ponytail up towards her eyes to admire it.

Torie raised her hand. "Professor, can you use this spell on someone or something else. For example, if I wanted to turn my owl Myrrhine into a different colour, would this spell work?"

Hermy sighed. To be quite frank, she was happy with her hair as it was, and saying some kind of spell to change it was just a tad too risky. Plus if it looked terrible, she might have to wait hours before it regained its usual shade if the counter spell didnt work. Shrugging, Hermy decided that she might as well go the whole way. As least if she went wrong, it might appear as if she was wearing a dodgey wig to support her house.

"Navy blue Diadius Foleculem!" she muttered pretty quietly, eyes clenched shut, so noone could detect if it went wrong. Slowly opening her eyes, Hermy studied her hair. It had changed colour, and her curly hair had a glint of blue, detectable only in certain lights due to it being such a dark shade. SHe shrugged. A tad darker than planned, but hey.

Caitlin laughed. This lesson was perfect for her, and she didn't mind taking a chance and chaning her hair color.

"Deep Red Diadius Foleculem!" Caitlin grinned, pointing her wand at her hair, and when she looked at her reflection it changed to the exact shade she'd wanted it - too different to be her natural color but the color in itself looked more natural than the blues, greens, and purples that were errupting around the classroom.

After giving herself a pair of matching eyebrows, Caitlin leaned against the wall and watched the others with mingled senses of amusement.
