Kerry walked in with a smile, "Hello Professor Vindictus," she greeted the Professor as she made her way to her seat and waited for class to begin.

Nikki runs in, "Hey Professor" She looks up to see her friend Kerry and sits next to her.

Kerry sees Nikki take a seat next to her, and her face lights up. "Nikki, it's been awhile.. how are you? It's so great to see you. Ready for some fun?" Kerry asked as she glanced over at the brooms and wondered what was in store for today's lesson.

Nikki hugs Kerry, " Yes i cant wait, im really excited", She wonders what the Professor has planned.

Thump walked in with his usual casual demeanor waving hello to the Prof. with a smile and waited for the lesson to begin.

Vindictus looked up and grinned brightly at the pupils who had already arrived. "Ah, good day pupils!" he exclaimed cheerfully and waved his wand. On the massive chalkboard to his right the following words appeared:

oooh broomstick care! Kerry was happy to learn this, as she couldn't wait til she finished her first year and buy a broomstick of her own, and this would be a practical lesson for her.

Julia entered the classroom, immediately eyeing Max. She loved how he put his feet up on the table so casually. "Hello professor," she began, taking a seat wherever she felt like it. "How are you this, err, lovely day?" What a suck up. She looked at the large chalkboard. Hmm... I should be good at this.

Thump read the the title on the board glad for a second then his hand raised in the air a furrow in his brow "Prof. are we allowed to use our own brooms if we have?"

Eternal skipped into the classroom with her silvery curls bouncing as she came in. She skipped over to a table and grabbed a seat and rested her silver messenger bag down off her shoulder and onto the floor. "Hello Professor." Eternal said with her crisp french accent. She smiled.

Clutching his broomstick Zander entered the classroom, looking forward to the lesson. He hadn't so much as touched his broom since the last quidditch practice. Looking up at the chalkboard, he gave a little smile. Caring for his broomstick (or any of his possessions) was not a thing he spent much time doing. A class on the subject might just help. Anxious to for the class to beginning, the boy greeted Professor Vindictus and sat down.

Vindictus nodded at the eager Ravenclaws. "I would prefer that you use the school brooms, Mr. Nixon. And to answer your question, Miss Agoobwah, I'm doing quite well on this wonderful day."

He watched the other students enter the room. "Good . . . good. We should be starting in 10 minutes."

Julia smiled at Max. Man, she'd miss him when she left the school. It was too bad that she only got to spend one term with him. She looked around the classroom and realized that all of the students present, with the exception of one Gryffindor, were Ravenclaws. This made her very proud of her house.

Thump glumly put away his broom,sad that it hadn't gotten a good cleaning since the last quidditch match, and went to get a school broom Ill just apply it later he thought. Where is everyone else at he thought hoping more Ravenclaws would arrive

Zander's face turned to a light red when Professor Vindictus mentionned the School Brooms. He had, of course, read the class rules, and seemed sure that there was nothing stating that the students were to use the school brooms and not their own. However, he shrugged it off and simply hid the flying device under his desk, best he could. Of course, it was still in plain site, but what could he do?

Dis walked into the professor's classroom and made her way a bit further back. Professor Vindictus was not her most favorite of professors. She still hadn't forgiven him for giving her a detention and not punishing the actual instigator but she decided to swallow that down for the day. She was all about earning points for her house, even if it meant swallowing her pride.

She took a seat at table, dropping her bag next to her chair. She looked over at the school brooms and tucked back a sneer. She much prefered her own broom but knew the professor wanted the students to use the schools brooms for this class. No matter. She had own broom servicing kit, special ordered, that she much prefered to use on her own broom as opposed to the ones supplied by the school.

She leaned back in the chair, glancing aimlessly around the classroom, waiting for the professor to start the class.

"Welcome pupils! Today we are going to discuss broomsticks and finally proper broom care. Now, I see that many of you brought your own supplies, but please indulge me for this lesson and use the school brooms and the supplies," Vindictus said jovially. "Parchment and quills out!"

Kerry reached down to her bag, and took out her quill and parchment as instructed, and listened carefully to make sure she didn't miss any notes.

Thump whipped out his quill and a bit of parchment What notes can we take on this..i thought it would be more hands on he thought a bit sourly.

Nikki followed Kerry's lead and took out her Parchment and quills, and sat quietly, waiting for further instructions

Julia watched Max with admiration. She already had all of her supplies for taking notes out. Even when she wasn't in class she had notes ready to go incase of an incident where information about something other than classwork came up and she would need to remember it for further inspection. This professor sure was cool though.

Dis reached into her bad and pulled out her small writing tablet of parchment and a quill, ready to take notes, wondering if she was going to learn anything that she didn't already know about broomcare. She tapped the quill tip on the table, a habit that had formed for her this semester, and waited for the professor to begin.

"Broomsticks, broomsticks, broomsticks. Can't play a decent game of Quidditch without them! Ah, but I'm sure none of you has tried it on a flying carpet - take my advice and don't do it! But alas, I digress," Vindictus laughed as he walked amongst the student desks.

"Before we get carried away with other flying objects, let's turn our attention back to broomsticks. Can anyone tell me the names of the different models of broomsticks? One model per student, please."

Kerry raised her hand, "Professor there is the cleansweep series." she said, knowing it was just one of many models.
