Lexi shook her head and smiled. "I don't think it. I KNOW it," she said as she snuggled her head on his shoulder. As he pulled back she looked up at him and giggled. "Of course it's fact, sir. I am always right," she said. TRUTH.

Letting herself be led from the shop she clung to his hand with both of her own. "Let's just go home. I could use a nap." As they exited the shop her heart felt a bit lighter and she turned them on the spot and apparated them home.

Feeling all sorts of out of place but not actually showing it, Viktor Brown entered the warmth of the little candy shop, leaving the cold, snowy winter weather behind for the next several moments until he would once again be out exploring the streets of Diagon Alley, getting some needed shopping done here and there.

Noting the stack of baskets at the end of the nearest shelf, the man wandered over, hesitating before deciding to pick one up. He hadn't been sure he'd need it, but now that he was here, why not stock up on some sweets?

Now, where to start..

Viktor, gazing around the quiet, rather cutesy store (then again, what shop wouldn't be cutesy with a name like Sugarplum's?), he slowly started down the aisle he was standing by.

It seemed that Ella was finding herself once again in Diagon Alley. It was coming a regular occurence. Twice in a short matter of time, it wouldn't be long until she was coming here every day. Ella didn't quite want that to happen. She was already missing her heels, but had decided that flat shoes were much more easy to walk along the cobbles with. Her boots were awfully nice though, so Ella didn't mind too much. Now, she just needed to decide where she was going to go. She had just come out of Scribbulus, having gotten some new ink, and now needed to find somewhere else to go. Hmm. Sugarplums. She did have a bit of a sweet tooth. It was decided. She was heading that way.

The blonde hadn't been into the sweet shop for a while, even with her sweet tooth, so this was quite the treat really. Maybe she should stock up? Her mother would kill her. But as a thirty Two year old woman, she shouldn't really care what her mother thought too much. So Ella did pick up a basket, and after hooking it over her arm, began wandering down an aisle. Hmmm. Choices. Choices. Maybe the basket would come in handy after all

The number of times Viktor had been in a sweets shop since becoming an adult could be counted on both hands, and the amount of times he had done so alone could be counted on one; He'd always come with her.. or with his little sister. And on top of those fun little facts, he'd never set foot in this Sugarplum's place. So it went without saying, that he hadn't the first idea what he was looking at or for. The last time he had seen wizarding candies.. well, he had been a child still. And now, here he stood at nearly thirty years old. That was a huge difference, no?

But he could do this. No big deal. There wasn't any specific type of candy he needed, just a variety of things. That would do. Hmm. Jelly slugs.. Hudson would probably like those, Viktor figured. A package of Fizzing Whizbees in hand, Viktor was probably a bit too distracted to continue walking ahead without lifting his gaze. Knowing this, it was no surprise that he came just a step away from standing on an innocent woman's feet. Thankfully, he did look up when their toes practically met and startled by the extreme closeness, Viktor's expression took on an apologetic look, taking a step away as he held out a hand toward her arm out of instinct, trying to prevent her from losing balance if he had startled her as well. "My sincere apologizies, Madame." Viktor said softly, genuinely sorry. "It would seem I'm being a bit daft today. Are you alright?"

Mmmm. The first thing that Ella saw was the fudge. Fudge had always been her favorite. All of the flavours too. Mmm. But she was pretty sure that she would look just a little bit greedy if she put a bar of each flavour in her basket. It wasn't as if she actually had someone else to buy any candy for. But now, she had to figure which flavour to get. Walnut was her favorite, so she reached out, and picked one bar of that flavour up, and placed into her basket. Figuring that two bars didn't look that bad either, she grabbed a milk chocolate one too. That was enough fudge. For now anyway, she could always return to Diagon Alley to buy some more if she needed it. Not really paying attention to whre she was moving, and instead paying more attention to the candy displays, she moved further up the aisle.

Until her toes nearly met with someone elses. Maybe she should've been watching where she was going, because now Ella had kind of lost her balance. She took a step back, grabbing onto his hand, so that she wouldn't fall over. After regaining her balance, she smiled at the man. "I'm fine..." Not as if any of them had fallen over. "Are you?" Maybe she should've been looking where she was going. Next time, she would be.

The extended hand had been needed, not unsurprisingly. Viktor was happy to help the young woman regain her balance, waiting until she had before letting his arm come to rest at his side again. His expression was still apologetic as she spoke, assuring him she was fine. And then she asked if he was okay. Viktor blinked. Glancing down, he remembered the Fizzing Whizbees in hand and set them in the basket hanging on his other arm. "Yes, perfectly fine. I was more worried about you, seeing as it was my fault."

Hazel eyes taking in the pretty young woman before him, pink highlights in her blonde hair included, Viktor adverted his gaze down so it wouldn't appear he was staring. A peek at her basket revealed fudge, which he could only assume was somewhere in the direction behind her. Fudge. If he simply stocked up on a ton of that, Mars and Hudson would be set and he wouldn't have to return to a sweets shop for another year or so. Bringing his attention back to the present, Viktor focused on the woman again, glancing at the shelves next to them briefly. "Was there something you were trying to get on the top shelf, Madame?" The words were kind of blurted out in a calm fashion before he could stop himself or think it through. Honestly, Viktor wasn't sure what possessed him to ask. She hadn't exactily given any sign or indicated that she had been, but he supposed it was the gentlemanly thing to do. Especially after almost stepping on a ladies' toes.

Daniella really hoped that she was not going to end up on her rear end in the shop. It would not be fun. She really did hope that she was more balanced than that. Surely the years of wearing high heels has improved her balance some what. Thankfully holding onto the mans arm did help the situation, and Ella did not find herself falling to the floor. It was good. She didn't really want all the pretty candies going everywhere. That would make an awful mess. He was worried about her? A faint blush crossed her face, and she smiled at him. "No need to worry, I'm fine." Now that she wasn't falling over anymore anyway. At least he was okay too. It was fine, neither of them had ended up on the floor, and the sweetes were still all in on place perfect.

Something she was trying to reach from the top shelf. Ella's eyes looked up at the top shelf, not really having looked up there before. It wasn't as if she could actually reach up there. Mmm. Pumpkin Pasties. She hadn't had those for a while, clearly because they were on the shelf that she could not reach. But today, she had this nice, fine gentleman here to reach them for her. Perfect. Ella smiled, nodding towards the pumpkin pasties. "Just one of those." Having two would just make her seem greedy. And that wasn't the best of things to do when meeting a new friend. "And feel free to call me Ella." Yup. She was totally fine with that. Made her feel more comfortable than Madame anyway.

Viktor did not fail to notice the slight pink coloring in her cheeks, matching her hair rather well. No need to worry? Not so much now, sure. She was all right. However, he did feel a bit guilty for the whole incident or near-incident. Viktor kept that to himself, though.

So there was something she wanted from the top shelf. His height was a useful thing at times, or so Mars often told him. Following her gaze up to toward the sweets that were just out of reach. Right. Pumpkin Pasties. Turning and reaching up easily, the brunette grabbed a package of the pumpkin-flavored goodies. "Ella. Is that short for something?" Viktor asked, offering her the treats.

Ughh. Why did she blush? Ella never blushed. Probably because she didn't talk to men that often, but this was bit embarrassing. She watched the shelf intently for a few seconds, until she felt her cheeks coolen a little. The shelf looked really pretty. But the cockroach clusters, did not look so pretty. Mmm. She wouldn't be getting any of them. Insects and candy did not sound too good to her. At all. She prefered her fudge, and pumpkin pasties. Hence why she'd asked this guy to get some for her. Pumpkin pasties were yummy.

Oh he'd reached it for her. Perfect. Ella smiled, taking the tasty treat from him. "Thank you..." She really could do with taking someone taller around with her when she went shopping. They'd get the tasty sutff that was on the taller shelfs. Ooh. He wanted to know about her name. There was a simple answer to his question really. Yes. Ella was short for something. "It's short for Daniella." Which nobody really called her that much. Just her parents. It wasn't as if she didn't like her name, she did quite like it, it was just most people called her Ella. Pretty Simple really.

Mikhail walked along the isles to take current inventory in the front of the shop before he made his way to the store room. Counting fast in his head.

LOOK AT ALL THE SWEETSSS!

Anya grinned happily. It was a good thing she managed to give Carter the slip. Now she had all the time in the world to browse the sweet shop! (Until she found of course.)

Now... where to start? With the fudges maybe?

Oh,oh. As Adam walked into the sweet shop to get his teeth rotten a bit he saw someone he knew too well. She looked more than ready to pile the sweets into her mouth. Anya could get hyper or something. Adam didn't mind her love for candy and anything sweet but other people in the shop might look at her.

"Hmm.. I think the fudge will get you too hyper too fast...Unless you're ready to be hyper within a second." He said to her from her back.

"It's summer Adam." Anya said with a cheeky grin. "I'm perfectly allowed to get hyper whenever, and however fast, that I want to." And... she wanted candy now, thank you very much.

But since he was here...

"Do you have any recommendations? I've kept my distance from all the magic stuff so far."

"I stay away from the magical stuff too..I had cockroach clusters last year at Hogsmeade..I didn't like it..Hmm...Well, I think you should take gummy bears or sour worms." Adam said smiling. He'd hit a soft spot with her on that. Everyone knew Anya's passion for gummy bears, she would not protest about him getting her some.Then his smile turned into a toothy grin. "Unless you wanna rebel against gummy bears and have....... chocolate gummy bears." He said with such a dramatic voice you'd think they were watching the climax of a movie.

"They sell gummy bears here?" Anya asked. Her eyes widened and she looked around. And THERE! There were some! She took a few steps toward it before stopping.

"What is a jumping gummy bear?" she asked turning back toward Adam. He'd know, right? That badge meant they knew everything, yeah?

"I guess." He answered casually shrugging his shoulders. Adam hadn't been here, as far as he could remember so he didn't know much about the store just the fact that it was a sweet shop. "I'm just rather glad there's a candy store right?If they didn't have one they'd be denying every child's dream to go crazy on candy." Injustice if they hadn't constructed one.

"Not sure..I've heard of jumping mexican beans..So,maybe its the same thing..Jumping gummy bears.Why? Have you seen some here?" Now his interest was caught. "I wonder if they jump in your mouth?Hmm."

Anya didn't really know. This was only her second time ever in this shop. And as far as she knew, muggle candy and magic candy didn't overlap much.

She nodded toward the display she was walking toward just moments before. "Yeah. And it says Jumping in front of the word Gummy Bears. That wouldn't ruin the gummy bear part, would it?"

O_O What is jumping meant they fought back?

A man should not be allowed into to roam freely within a candy store on an empty stomach. That was certainly not advisable, especially when the man's name was Clifford Avalon. Clifford knew that by the end of his little trip, he'd made the shopkeeper and his assistant very happy people. But now, it was time to scour the shelves. Not worry about the happiness of the shopkeepers.

Allowing his feet to carry him down the isle, Cliff finally paused upon reading the word 'TRUFFLES'. That was definitely an attention grabber. Without further ado, he made his way to the end of the isle, grabbed a basket from the dwindling stack, and returned to the truffles. Unfortunately for him, there weren't many flavors to choose from. He grabbed a box of each, knowing he'd probably end up bring them to work to unwillingly share them with his new co-workers.

But what else would they like?

He stepped back from the shelf to glance over the other types of candy, practically leaving no room for anyone to get by him. Whoops.

Candy, candy, candy! Selena did love her candy, especially since it was pretty much everywhere around her right now. It was like... the best place to go no matter where in the world you were. Selena carelessly tossed boxes of candy into her basket humming happily and skipping. Who didn't like candy? Or chocolate? The very idea was stupid.

Just like putting the good stuff out of reach for tiny people. Selena eyed the chocolate about two or three feet above her. Either way, it'd be out of reach even if she jumped. Hello, tall people? Where were the nice ones?

Louisa had promised her brother to get him some 'cool candies' as he put it. Jason might snap and have a heart attack if he knew she was bringing his son some magic candies but who cares? In fact, it was a bonus. With a snicker, the sixteen years old strolled into the shop aiming for the Candy Displays. Louisa stopped at one end of a table and stared down at the attractive colors... shapes.. even smell!

Viola, her tabby cat, was purring and licking someone's... shoe! "Viola!" Louisa squealed, picking her pet up and looking up at the victim of her pet's weird obsession. "Oh! Selena! Thank Merlin, I thought it was some stranger. Hi," the girl beamed at her school mate. How come she never talked to Selena before? She merely knew her name and house.

Maybe because the girl was too bouncy and happy?

Selena continued to STARE at the candy before realizing there was something there on the floor. Licking her boots. Why was there a cat licking her boots? Did the cat want to eat the innocent and fluffy pygmy puff in her basket full of candy except for chocolate because she couldn't reach the higher shelf? "Go away cat, my shoes aren't food... neither is Kent," she said, sticking her tongue out at it.

The cat did go away though, because some person picked up the thing. Good. That way the cat wouldn't be able to EAT Kent. Or her shoes. But who was that girl? Not a stranger?! Selena KNEW her then. WELL. Selena knew the FACE but the name? She was drawing a blank. "HAI!" Selena beamed at the girl, running names through her head and trying to match names to faces. "Your cat tried to eat my shoes."

Like... seriously. Selena liked her shoes.

Sugarplums was not a place Caedwyn Howard often frequented, and it took her long moments of perusing the bright interior before she had her bearings. It wasn't that she was opposed to candy exactly, but more than she was strict with sweets in her own household and didn't often buy them.

She roamed the aisle in search of something that might appeal to her daughter, something sweet and playful to celebrate Carrigan's acceptance into a much-too-expensive primary school for the fall. Nothing strangely flavored, although if it was strangely shaped, that might be... acceptable.

With her attention entirely consumed by perusing the shelves, Cade almost ran over a man taking up more than his share of the aisle. She waited quietly for a moment before clearing her throat and nudging his shoulder with one fingertip. "Pardon me?"

It wasn't enough. Cardigan needed more than four pounds of Candy. That just didn't make the cut. The notorious candyeater needed way more than four pounds of candy to live up to her name!!! She skipped along the aisles, trying to figure out what she wanted through her giggle fit while she hummed quite loudly a song that reminded her of candy; don't ask why. She was already on a sugar high just seeing all this candy!! Just wait untill Cardigan got her hands on some candy. Then, it would be wisest to run.....

Viola started squirming to get free again but the cat's eyes were leveled with the new person's basket... with yummy stuff in it. The cat started stretching her paws and glaring at the target in the basket. It sure should taste better than the stuff she'd licked a moment ago.

Louisa smiled apologetically at the Slytherin, "Yeah, she tends to do that to some people. Sorry." Her eyes focused on the girl's shoes then, "There isn't much... saliva on them though." Which was good considering the incident with the older man's shoes. "I see you're candy shopping," change the subject of her cat's abnormality please? Although the candies in Selena's basket were nothing near normality. "Aren't... those a bit much?" Louisa squinted her eyes at the fluffy ball creature, "Is that an actual Pygmy Puff or a candy one?" Would it dissolve on her tongue if she took a bite?

Selena eyed the cat. Bad - what was the cat even doing? The pygmy puff in the basket blinked his huge blue eyes. Selena refused to take her eyes off of the cat. It was a demon in disguise and was going to EAT them all. She was sure of it.

"Mmmmhmmm," Selena said distractedly still eying the cat. "It's alright, Clarke enjoys eating the shoes," Selena said, glancing up at Louisa for a second and smiling before she stared at the cat again. Evil cat, that is. "Yuuuup, candy is good for EVERYONE," Selena said, enjoying the change of topic and beaming at the dark-haired girl. "I have like... everything," Selena continued, grinning. She also liked everything in there, obviously he didn't get any cockroach clusters though because that was just gross. "Much? How can it be muchly? On the contrary, there is not enough," Selena said with a shrug of her shoulders before she pet the pygmy puff sitting atop the candy.

And what was the girl talking about? WAS SHE GOING TO TRY TO EAT KENT?!?!?!

Selena blinked blankly at the girl. Then at the cat. The owner of the feline was just like the feline... they wanted to EAT Kent. Note to self, never let Kent be alone with the girl. "He's a pygmy puff, he's Kent, he doesn't go anywhere without me, and he's noooooot going to be your kitty cat's snack," Selena said, eying the cat once more, especially since the cat was reaching towards the basket!
