Dearest Philomenia,
I hope this letter has found you in good cheer, dear sister, for I bid thee more yet still. I write to you to make known to you that despite our families despairing time, hopeful and good news I bring thee which doth concern the Stripe.
But a few days prior to this letter, it seemed that our order was to meet with those of other houses. The Mane, the Fang, and the Talon. In my former bitterness, I spurned the other houses until out of my pain I realized the wrong on my behalf. And, it was with that realization that I made the descision to write some letters to those that might offer some assurance. My letters either touched the appropriate hearts or my faith had steered me correctly, and I do not stand alone when I stand for a world unpressed by ill-conceived notions about one another.
At the meeting, I was also joined by a Professor of Hogwarts School, Auberon Boniface, her ladyship Edwina D'arcy, and Edmund Pinkston himself, the High Master of the Fang, who I was informed is the one and same wizard who gave the children the ingredient with which they were to embed in chocolate to give to my boy. It was he, who I was most ill-at-eased to meet, though, upon meeting him I found his demeanor agreeable, apologetic, and sincere. And, as I found my heart fill with grace, I could not help but think; What greater foundation in existence today could there be to to build off of than forgiveness.
I cannot disclose very much more, my sister, but know that new and happier days dawn for us all.
Your Sister,
Mary Hallett
