Three weeks later isn't soon enough

I actually stalked that lake RP but I didn't know Mikey saved Aria! Darn Mikey, he should have let her drown...JK!

I didn't like it being too short and I ran out of anything else to write

Dear Journal,

So this week wasn’t such a great one. First I was loaded with double homework, considering I have to do Rose’s too. Plus I’ve been cranky from the lack of sleep for the past two weeks. It can really take a toll on a nerdy kid like me since I thrive on those eight hours to stay awake in classes, do homework, study and eat at least something. I was going to do work in the common room, but it was too packed for my liking. So I headed to my usual spot at the library. So now I will always wonder why the vampire was in there painting. I whacked her with a newspaper since she was using the table as a support. At least she could’ve done it on the floor where any damages could very easily be covered up.

But this Rose we’re talking about.

Everything was going fine, until she started crying over me not wanting to do her homework this one time. This was the first time I ever said no to doing her homework and she starts crying. I wonder if she’ll want me to do her job after we graduate too. The Hunter Pierce walked in. Turns out Rose is his cousin.

Amazing.

Now I have two Scots to give me headaches. It was a HUGE mistake telling Hunter about Rose. Stupid slug wanted me to tell her how I felt. Why was it any of his business anyway? Just because she’s his cousin the slug thinks I should just come out with it? How about no? I haven’t even told Rose about Arianna. But then she never asked if I had siblings and my sister was usually at my grandma’s place for summers. Since Hunter kept bringing up the Rose situation, I kept bringing up how he almost killed Aria. He obviously didn’t like it, nor did I like what he was doing to me. He then decided to call me a liar because I wouldn’t admit to Rose that she was the girl he was talking about. Things went downhill from there.

So basically, the “charming” slug made me lose my patience and I left. I’m pretty sure Rose cried more when I left. She probably felt guilty about something. Well, it’s not her fault she has to be related to Hunter.

After that, I ended up at the courtyard, where the vampire found me and stood in front of me, still crying from the library thing. But she apologized.

It’s seriously not her fault.
It’s mine.

Dear Journal,

I've kind of touch with writing for some time. I guess it was all the drama and homework I was sucked into for the past few MONTHS. Well, now I should probably start with what happened first, after the whole thing with the dead slug and the vampire.

HALLOWEEN. Also known as the day I like to prank Hailey nonstop around the castle. I even got some little first years to go along with my pranks. It’s easy to convince them once you offer to give them candy and sneak them onto the Quidditch field for private practices. Do you think Vindictus will find out? Well, he is a bit scary, being my head of house and all.

Welp.

So I paid a first year in candy to dress up as Michael Myers for Halloween. Oh good lord did it work. I walked with Hailey on the fourth floor corridor, looking for Aria since I wanted to give her some candy. As we turned a corner, the small first year popped out, with a rubber knife I glossed to look real, and began running towards Hailey. As soon as she looked up, the vampire ran for her life, making her black wig fall off. My poor ribs still hurt from all the laughing. Seriously, she should choose her friends carefully next time. Or else she’ll have more near death experiences.
But the laughing gave me away.

The vampire, who was dressed as Mina to go along with my Dracula costume, began chasing me towards the grounds.

Note to self: Don’t trust first years ever again.

She probably would’ve caught me if she hadn’t tripped on her dress and fallen into some leaves. Now Hailey needs a new nickname. Maybe Autumn? Hmm, I’m not too good with nicknames, sometimes. At least I saved her candy right? Does that make up for the Michael Myers thing? Probably not.

“I’m going to suck your blooood!” I said to her, just to receive a scold look back. Well, that isn’t very nice. Anyways, we went to the feast, leaves in hair and all. Instead of telling people she was Mina, I just said Hailey was pretending to be some type o tree that went all wrong.

Ha, I can be so mean sometimes.

I’m pretty sure I ruined Halloween for the vampire. So this means I can have her candy. But I’ll give it to Aria instead.

But then Thanksgiving came and things just went downhill from there. So the vampire came over to my place to celebrate. Good thing Hunter didn't show up. So anyways. For like the first time EVER, my sister was home. When Hailey walked in, she asked who Arianna was, so us, being twins and all, played it off as she was my cousin.

Things were going great until our mom yelled out, "Mikey, tell your sister to turn down her music!" I froze, not sure whether to glare at mom or try to get out of it. But the vampire turned red from her anger and didn't talk for me for about a month after that. It was only yesterday when she broke and begged me to do her homework. So I obviously apologized to her about the whole twin thing. But then again, she never asked if I had siblings. I guess she thought I was an only child since I never really talked about Arianna.

At least that's done now and things have slowly gone back to normal.

Journal, poor sad journal.
I’m about to make you sad.

Pfft, as if.

So where to start? Maybe I’ll start with that time I walked out of my common room to find none other than Hunter Pierce nearby. Not to mention I was already having a bad day from lack of sleep, eating and just being restless for some time. As I was trying to get away from him, Pierce kept talking and talking until he brought up the situation about Hailey. Honestly, he should really just give up on that piece of information he’s clinging onto. He also added that he would give me the number to a shrink another one of his cousins’ see. Okay, his family really needs to stop growing. We don’t need more people like him in the world.

I think we went back and forth for about twenty minutes about this annoying topic. A nerd can only take so much from people he doesn’t like. So I pinned Pierce to the wall. No big deal. He was making me more upset so he deserved something bad. Kind of. I knew when a best friend likes their best friend; it doesn’t really turn out too well. Those relationships die and I didn’t want that to happen to the vampire and me. And I honestly don’t care if he’s related to Hailey; it’s still not his life so he should really mind his own business.

I don’t think I’ve ever disliked someone as much as I dislike Hunter Pierce.

A couple of days ago, it seems like Pierce actually went through with his threat and told Hailey that I was in love with her. Thing is, I’m not in love with her. I love her has a friend, but it’s just a crush. But nonetheless, the vampire confronted me about it in the owlery. Out of all places to go, the stupid owlery that smells horrid and filled with many owls, obviously. I was casual about it, like everything else Hailey and I talk about. It wasn’t a big deal, honestly, but coming from Hunter Pierce’s mouth, everything is DRAMATIC. So I admitted to my feelings and then she admitted to hers. This caught me completely off guard. I thought she didn’t really like “nerds”. Oh well. But then Hailey kept asking these questions and I kept answering but she somehow was getting confused by my answers.

I kept forgetting I have to break things down for her.

But yeah, we’re dating now, strange as it sounds. But Merlin is she sappy. But maybe I should adjust to that, though I know I might get annoyed at times.

Was May the last time I wrote on you?
I’m getting awfully bad at keeping up.
I should start dating these entries.

October 2077

Last thing I wrote was about Hailey and me dating. It’s going pretty well, though my “secrets” do tend to get out. But at least they’re not horrible ones. She knows about my anxiety problem. I don’t think she’s actually seen me have an attack, but there was this one time it was pretty close. Other than that, I usually stay in my room for like an hour or more until I’ve calmed down. But even that won’t help me fully recover. My mom says it started when a relative of hers brought a snake over to our house. He forced me to hold it and I start to cry and scream hysterically. She said I wouldn’t stop for an hour until they forced the guy to leave. Mom says that was the first time I ever had a panic attack. But when I was fourteen, they started again.

It was after I broke one of my grandma’s vases. I began freaking out because she’s had it since the Stone Age. But later, grandma tells me that she’s had the same vase many times because they’re always breaking.

Thanks for the head up, grandma.

But since then, mom’s been having me go to a therapist and be on medication. But it’s still annoying to have this stupid problem.

Enough with this depressing stuff.

This summer, my parents took us to Australia. It was a bit surprising since mom turned out to be pregnant. More siblings for me! Yay… But at least we had a great time and Rose came along. We went swimming with dolphins, tried new food and she even made me hold a snake. She’s lucky I didn’t panic or else that would’ve been a terrifying sight. But overall, I wish we can go back. Maybe I’ll move over there when I’m old enough. Of course Rose is coming because she’d crying her eyes out if I ever left her.

I wonder what would happen if we ever broke up.

Before heading to school, in Diagon Alley, I met this girl named Gwen. I believe she dumped into me at a bookstore and we started talking about what kinds of books were there on being older siblings. Since then, I’ve only talked to her at the garden at school. I should probably hang out in the common room more often. She’s bound to be there too. Going back to the illness thing, after the vacation, I had to see the stupid therapist again.

NOW I'M ON AN ALL ORGANIC DIET.

I've never felt so hungry in my life before. I've been on it for three months and I seriously look like a walking stick with hair. I tried eating human food the other day, but that ended up in a mess. But once Rose showed me food, I was determined to keep it down. So far, it's working but I know mom will make me eat organic for Thanksgiving.

Let's hope I survive that holiday.
