Hey Everyone! First off, my name is Ernie and this is just a journal for my next character at Hogwarts. He's the son of my Ministry character and I just couldn't wait to start RP'ing him, so here's his journal! You should know, he's a bit of an Aussie but not completely hardcore about it. I like the little guy, he's funny and fun to write about, so please read up and ENJOY!

August 1st, 2066
12:45 p.m.
Well, it looks like mum isn’t ever coming back. That’s what Gran said anyway, she’s on trial at the British Ministry of Magic and she can’t afford someone to help her case. I love her more than anything, but she really is a stupid woman. Who knows what she went to go do whenever she left me in Diagon Ally by myself for hours, and a couple of times she left me walking around aimlessly overnight… so I wasn’t exactly gobsmacked when this happened. But the bad part is, the crazed woman hadn’t even written a will or whatever so I could stay in Australia with my grandparents! No, by the rules of the British and Aussie Ministry, I am handed to my next closest relative. So that means I will be moving in with my mongrel of a pop within the next month. There is no other person that I hate more than him. I never met the ruddy bloke, he and me mum got ended their marriage when I was just a little rug rat and I haven’t seen him since. I mean, it doesn’t bother me or anything… I’m just saying I dislike the guy OKAY. But yeah, mum is just gone. Has been for nearly two weeks. I'll admit I've had a really, REALLY tough time with it. And, I might have cried, but probably not because boys don't cry. Yeah, she called me annoying names like Cyro, Cyzer, Cysie... but now I miss those names more than ever. It's all her fault, why couldn't she work at the Ministry like a normal person. Oh yeah, thats because Teal, or dad as I should know him, works there and she HATES him. But anyways, I'll move along now, no worries!
Okay, I KNOW what you’re thinking. This for one, is NOT a Diary, or Journal, or whatever you are thinking of this little…entry. I am just putting my thoughts on paper because it is so unbelievably boring here at my grandparents place. They are boring people and they have a boring house, end of story. So, I had to find something to do, so this is it… and it is nothing more; glad we’re clear now mate. Well, just for the fun of it all, maybe I will introduce myself. I mean, maybe in the future I could sell this for millions of galleons when I’m famous, because I WILL be famous. But anyways, I am Cy. My full name is Cyrus Paul Andrus, so get used to it because you WILL be hearing it a lot in about ten years… maybe sooner. I’m a sharp kid too you know, when I’m in school… which is really quite rare to be honest. I like playing sports, especially footy, I always out do all of the muggle kids around here. Big Quidditch fan too, mum taught me how to fly a broom and I’m good at it too if I do say so myself. I’ve been around the world, but I’d say my homeland is Australia, and my accent is native to the place too. But I’ve lived in various places in Britain, even been over in America for awhile. Yeah I’ve seen it all. But mum had no money, we always slept in this messy tent that only had one bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. Grans’ and Gramps’ house is pretty small too though, but is nice compared to anything I’ve ever known.
Oh and for the record, I’m eight years old right now. Turning nine this summer though. July 4th to be exact, which happens to be on some stupid American holiday. Most of my mate’s are muggles, but I know one other wizard bloke that lives around the corner. He is two years older than me, I’m afraid I won’t be seeing much of him when I leave here. Well, I think that clears most everything up for now. Gran has just made some vegemite so it’s time to eat! So uh, catch ya’ later mate!

Umm, Hi. I forgot that I had this notebook in here. Well, a lot has happened since I left you about two days ago. Oh yeah, I guess I need to name you too don’t I mate? Well, I think I’ll name you Joey, it’s what I call all the kangaroo’s around here and I like them a lot, and I like you a lot. So, that’s now your new name, alright? Anyways I was just getting to talk to you about my day, oh and I’m only writing in this because my grandparents house is boring and all my mates had to go home for supper and sleep! But yeah, yesterday was a ripper of a day. Me and all my mates went down to the beach to catch the surf. I’ll tell ya’ mate it was wacka out there! The waves were huge, and a lot of the poor guys nearly killed themselves I think. They are muggles of course, and can’t hold their breath underwater like a can, but still they outta’ be more careful! I’m still getting the hang of it, but I’m only eight AND I’m improving so I think I’ll go pro by the time I’m ten or eleven if I want to. OH, and it was so funny today. One of my friends dared me to go talk to this total babe that was laying down on the beach. I mean she was really old, like fifteen maybe. Well I’m no scardy-cat so I went and talked to her. She giggled at me and she even said I was CUTE. Most sheila’s my age still have cootie’s and other nasty little girl viruses. So I think I’ll just try and date fifteen year olds instead, I think she really liked me. Her name was Pamela by the way, she was awesome. All my friends told me that she was just being nice and felt sorry for me, but they’re WRONG.
Well, that was yesterday for ya’ mate! Today wasn’t so great. My grandparents woke me up early this morning and told me to come down for some brekkie. I was already mad because they were making me eat oatmeal, I HATE oatmeal. It’s the nastiest food ever invented and it looks like some sort of runny ‘Roo dung that is a bit off colored. Anyways, I ate the stuff just to make Gran happy. Then I figured out why they had called me to the table! They had to talk to me about mum, who I have been thinking about constantly. But I haven’t cried again, I’m done crying. Boys DON’T cry, remember? But yeah, they told me what she did. She was working for some Dark Wizards, smuggling Runespoor egg’s to them. And I’ll tell ya’ mate, after my grandparents told me what Runespoor’s were I was downright amazed. It’s a bloody snake with three heads! Three of them! So, I don’t see what’s with that, I mean it’s just some random creature. Then they told me the rest, she accidently killed a French auror in the process of transferring them. She was just trying to stun the bloke, but it hit him in the head at close range and finished him. Her trial is tomorrow, but Gran said she’ll be locked up for at least 25 years. No good mate, no good at all. So this means, I am moving in with Teal, er- Dad, in exactly four days from today. He was on the phone with Gramps today and asked to speak with me, and I just walked away. I don’t know how I’m going to handle myself down there. I think he’s some big Ministry worker, has a big house and everything. Maybe I’ll just break a lot of expensive stuff when he’s at work. Yeah, that’ll show him. So yeah Joey, I’ll be in London in about four days and you’re coming with me. I can’t leave you here with Gran of course, she’s far too nosy.
Well, it’s past midnight mate, way past my bedtime honestly. Actually I don’t have a bedtime, I live by no rules. But I AM tired, so I’m hittin' the sack. Catch ya’ soon mate! Bye.
