Duuuuude, the weirdest thing happened to me today. Well, sorta happened to me if you know what I mean… And I swear that I feel like I have to pinch myself and wake up from a dream; yes, that is how weird my encounter with Tia in the courtyard was.

So I was walking by the grounds earlier today not really doing anything. And I happened across Tia. Now Tia is awesome, one of my good friends, I’d stay over with her during the summer holidays gladly. But what she told me today put me in shock.

You waiting in suspense to hear what I have to say next? Good.

Well, I asked her how she is doing, and instead of the usual, “I’m doing good. You?” reply she tells me that things are going BAD. She tells me that she is getting married at the end of term then showed me her wedding ring.

And this was my reaction: *BLINK BLINK BLINK BLIIIIINK*

And this is no ordinary engagement either. Oh, no, that would be too simple.

Tia is a Vampire that has to marry her cousin - who is also a Vampire - in some strange arranged marriage that was planned by her family when she was 8.

And if that isn’t bad enough, the cousin that she is marrying is the one that bit her in the first place. I think.

So I came close to fainting. Yes, I almost FACEPLANTED all over the courtyard.

Now all I can think is poor Tia… And keep her secret safe in these pages…

OMG! I’m in love! *sigh*

His name is Garfield and he is sweet and cute and huggable and oh so lovely…

I want to take him home with me and cuddle and snuggle and love him forever. He is my Snickerdoodle!

I even stole a picture of him from Sarah. As soon as she showed me the picture of him in the pathways I knew that he had to be MINE! With is fluffy orange fur and cute pink nose I knew that he is meant to be with me.

Oh Garfield, you deserve so much better than Sarah’s trunk even though there are a lot of nice pajamas for you to sleep on in there.

*sigh* I’m looking at the picture of him right now… I taped it on the wall of the Dorm room, right over my bed.

November 18th (5:46 PM)

I became an elephant today. Twice.

And let me tell you, it was a great experience. I mean I also became a rabbit and a butterfly, but there is just something amazing about being such a huge animal, towering above everything else…

And I gave Ella a ride on my back too. Twice.

Yeah, I only met her just before, but she is an awesome girl. Real fun to move. And as luck would have it she needed a partner for Transfiguration homework when I needed a partner for Transfiguration homework. And that is how we began our fascinating encounter.

One that ended up with me crushed into the grass under her weight hardly able to breathe. Twice.

Man, that was the best assignment ever… I can’t wait to turn into an elephant again. Maybe in the Great Hall. Belle would love that. *snorts*




November 26th (7:26 PM)

It was the second Hogsmeade visit today! And I got to see Maddox again! *squee*

As soon as I saw him on the street I ran up behind him and jumped on his back. And he knew that it was me right away, as I am the only person that would ever randomly jump on his back. I guess.

Anyway, I deemed him my horse on occasional visits.

Well, anyway, we went to The Three Broomsticks and got some nice drinks and talked about how we missed each other. Oh gosh, it was so cute. We were both blushing… Then Ella came up behind me out of nowhere and totally tried to surprise me.

So didn’t work.

I can smell her from a mile off. I remembered her scent of lilacs from when I was a rabbit.

Anyway, she was surprised when I figured out that she was behind me then joined us in a nice drink. Which would have been good if Maddox wasn’t staring daggers at her the whole entire time. That was really awkward. Though I can totally understand as we can only see each other during these visits to Hogsmeade.

I wish I could write to him again…



November 30th (10:21 PM)

*sigh*

Today I tried sending Maddox another letter via Jason. But I couldn’t as the Owlery is still closed off… Oh well, it’s probably for the best as Vannah would surely find out about it. She ALWAYS finds out about this kind of thing.

It’s those Vannah Senses of hers…

I swear that girl was born with this special ability and it’s only gotten stronger over time.

I first noticed it when we were little…

Vannah would always be trying to find out everything about our family. And when I say everything. I mean EVERYTHING. There were no secrets that could be kept from her, she would always manage to find things out. And for the longest time I couldn’t figure out how she did it.

And now I know. I’m onto you, Vannah.

Anyway, as I said, these senses for family gossip only heightened over time. Now not only can she find these secrets out through her Vannah Senses, but she also manages to find me whenever something big either happened or is going to happen. It happened when I almost died in the Lake last term for crying out loud!

And it’s starting to make me REALLY paranoid…

December 5th (11:00 PM)

So today was the first Quidditch game of the term. And the HufferMcPuffers were playing against the GryffieCats! w00t!

It was a pretty good game too: Gwen was playing pretty fiercely for the Gryffies, but Curt was pwning it all over the place for us. I have no idea how he does it, but Curt is awesome. The best Seeker I have seen playing for Hogwarts the whole time I have been at this school.

And I’m not just saying that ‘cause of what is going on between him and my cousin…

*cough*Vannahluuuuurveshim*cough*

And he certainly makes up for the awful state of the Stands. Dude, I dunno what is with Belle and the colour lilac, but it has to stop. Seriously. Everywhere I looked, I saw that vile colour; even on the seat cushions.

I turned both mine and Sam’s cushions different colours; hers red for the GryffieCats and mine yellow for the HufferMcPuffers.

‘cause I’m McBolical like that.

Oh, and let me tell you something about Sam… I think she’s like brainwashed or something to be against the Ministry. Every time the word “Ministry” is mentioned she flips out and goes all crazy on us. It’s awesome really as it makes her my fellow rebel. In fact, if I had to steal knives from the kitchens the one person I’d ask to help me is Sam. For that very reason.

And the only word that can calm her down is “Batman”. ‘cause who doesn’t love Batman? A weirdo, that’s who. *nods*


December 7th (4:00)

I got a letter from Sana today!

I was just getting up this morning when I saw her owl flying outside the window. I was totally surprised by this, as I hadn’t expected to hear anything from her right now. Obviously pleasantly surprised though as she and I were such great friends last Term.

Anyway, to get back to my point, I got a letter from her but I couldn’t open it just then. No, I had to get ready to go downstairs for breakfast then had classes to go to after that. *sigh*

I just read it about 30 minutes ago, and I am still smiling…
