8. Potions

Poor Becs.
Brian didn't want to give her the sleeping potion.
But she wouldn't relax and rest.
She was pregnant, she needed her rest!
He laid her on the bed safely and kissed on her head fondly.
"Sleep well baby."
He went back to work reluctantly after leaving a note explaining.
Becca woke up about three hours after Brian had left.
Looking around groggily, she groaned softly.
"What happened?"
She reached out to find Brian and sighed when she found a note.
"Brian Lee, you'd better be home soon. I need you."
She laid back down and closed her eyes.

67. Quell

He never felt like that. Alone and craving to see them.
Sigh.
It was his official visit and he had to attend alone.
The host offered him a party to enjoy. He had no other way
But had to go with them to show a gratitude and good gesture.
Food, people, talks etc…etc..
All party items were there.
He was not interested on anything. He missed his boy and his cute babblings.
He missed Becca’s whines and her close proximity.
He didn’t notice that one of his collegues approached him and asking something while he try to quell the loneliness.

77. Cheerful

It was so close to the time of their new baby being born.
Bringing Becca food and a drink, he grinned.
Smiling cheerfully back at him, she took the drink and set the food down.
"Caught the smiling bug?"
She nudged him playfully.
"Mmm..yeah. Created by this lil' one"
He rubbed her tummy gently.
"And you baby."
He looked into her eyes lovingly.
"You're amazing, Becs. Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity"
"Shhhh.."
Becca nudged him gently again and looked back into his eyes.
"I'm so happy because of you, Bri, you don't need to thank me."

62. Lope

He was drenched in sweat. Completely.
Checking on the remaining steps and height of that small hill, he looked
down at Becca who was following him in trekking.
Trekking was one of his favourite hobby.
Noticed her staring at him, he chuckled.
“What Mrs. Lee? Tired?” he smiled and found a rock for her to sit.
“No.” she mumbled.
No?! Great.
“Then? Staring is bad.” He laughed and rested his hand on his hip.
“You look shmexy while sweating..” she mumbled again.
He laughed again. “I would have preferred lopes if you’re not with me.”
Random.
Purely to distract her.

80. Author's choice

Do his homework for him?
Fine.
Becca picked up a quill without looking at the popular fifth year and wrote
'I, Brian Lee, think that flying around on a broomstick on a quidditch pitch is a favourable quality and aspire to be the Chudley Cannons team mascot.'
She stood up with his notes in her hand and stared straight into his face as she threw his homework notes back at him with the sentence written in black ink all over the notes.
"If you want something doing, do it yourself. I'm NOT your slave."
She'd had enough of this boy.

58. Hoot

“Brian!!”
Becca glared at him as she picked James up in her arms.
Brian looked down on the floor to avoid her death glares.
It was unusual for her to go against Brian. Very rare unless it was really bad or hurting.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t expect this.” He apologized, taking a quick glance at James.
His lil pouty lips were twitching and he was crying in fear. His small Physique curled up
Inside her arms.
Poor boy.
“Apologize to him.” She kept solacing James.
Brian nodded
“Sorry Jay. Daddy was trying to hoot like an Owl ..only for fun.”

90. Present

“Becs.”
Brian ran his fingers over her wand as he looked at her.
Becca looked up at him, smiling.
“Are you sure you want me to get rid of your old wand?”
She nodded.
“It’s time to stop living in the past love.”
She nodded again, smiling and then going back to reading her book.
She didn’t want to think about it too much.
“Okay baby. Let’s think about the present and future.”
Becca looked up again and put down her book.
“Yeah, the here and now. With my amazing man.”
She shifted to lean against him and hugged him.

91. Future

“NO. He’s gonna be a F1 driver in future “ he said, “A successful driver!” he corrected,
Stuck out his tongue at her.
“No. He’s gonna be a great hit wizard!” she made her point.
“No way. Look at him. He likes playing with toy cars.”
He stated the obvious as they were watching their little ward playing with Toy train, cars and
Toy bikes.
“B’cuz he’s not aware of himself yet..” she nudged him on his side.
He tackled her down on the floor, “Agree with me” he threatened her playfully.
“I can’t” she refused and laughing beneath him.

66. Pace

Step, step, step. Step, step, step.
Becca paced around the room with her head down worriedly.
Where was Brian?
“I’m missing you so much love.”
She spoke honestly to thin air.
He’d gone out to the shop, but he’d been gone too long.
Running her hands over her pregnant tummy, she sighed and looked out of the window.
“Come back..”
She moved to sit on the window-sill and watch for him silently and impatiently.
“Please..”
Her hand pressed against the window as her hazel eyes scanned the empty area at the front of the house where his Ferrari usually stayed.

93. Chicken

Brian shushed his little son James, smiling mischievously.
"Super Daddy!"
He giggled. Thumbs up.
Brian chuckled and took him in his arms,
"Call mummy now, Yes!"
He pulled away his hands from his mouth,
"Mummy!! Dinnew is Weady!"
He giggled again, so excited.
Brian hugged him and smiled at Becca as she reached them.
"Take your seat Madam!" he said, took a sneaky
look at his son.
"Take the lid Becca, a special recipe is waiting for you."
Becca opened the silver lid and squealed
when a chicken fluttering its wings frantically.
Both Brian and James giggled behind their hands.

40. Spell

"Are you sure I'm not under a spell?"
Brian teased playfully, looking at Becca fondly.
"Very sure."
She grinned at him and nudged his side.
"Anyway, the love we have is too strong to be maintained by a spell."
She looked at him lovingly.
"So true.."
Brian pulled her onto his lap and wrapped his arms around her lovingly.
Looking into his eyes as she put her arms around his neck, Becca beamed happily.
"If you don't believe me, check my wand."
She offered to him before kissing him happily.
“I believe you baby, my gorgeous, amazing wife.”
He crooned.

5. Astronomy
"Where are we going Brian?"
Becca kept nagging him.
"I told you, keep quiet for a while"
Brian grinned, his eyes full of excitement, sparkling.
"Careful"
He warned her when they stepped onto the terrace of the castle.
It was dark, but not pitch black.
Becca moved closer to him, clinging to his side.
She knew he liked Astronomy. But what today?
"Something special is going to happen in the celestial system."
He explained to her and laid onto his back on the floor.
"Lie next to me."
She followed him.
"Now what?" Question was hers.
"Kiss me!"

1. Herbology

Great.
The professor had insisted that the third years had joined up with the fifth years in Herbology.
The fifth years were okay, but the popular quidditch kids were in that year.
Becca half dragged herself to class and sat in the corner, listening as the fifth years talked amongst themselves and did their own thing.
Soon, the lesson was more of a mud fight than a class.
The red-headed third year glared at the popular fifth years who were all crowded round Brian Lee as she stood up, covered in mud.
"Stupid, mud throwing Skrewts!" she muttered to herself.

73. Warn

“Becca, Stop working with fire!” This was Brian.
Becca kept giggling as unable to control herself.
He was so sweet as always.
“This’s not a joke, Becs. I’m serious!” Brian’s hands were
on either sides of his own hip, looking at her stubbornly.
“Okay..okay. I got it.” She nodded her head, smiling.
“Good. Again I warn you..” his tone turned to begging quickly, “Please,
Don’t do this again” he knelt down in front of her.
“Bri, I Promise I wont do it again.” she bent down to Kiss on his forehead.
“Thank you” he kissed on her pregnant belly softly.

65. Ooze

Blood test?!
No way!
Becca backed off from the doctor, shaking her head.
Brian tried to get Becca to do this final test.
“Let me have a blood test first! It wont hurt!”
He nodded at the doctor, smiling encouragingly at Becca.
“ARE YOU CRAZY?!”
She almost screamed at him in terror.
Brian’s eyes went wide as he moved closer to his wife slowly and reached out to hold her close.
“Becs, calm down.”
“NO! I can’t!”
Brian gave the doctor an apologetic look before picking up Becca and carrying her away from the hospital.
Her terror slowly oozed away.

33. Classroom

He squirmed and opened his eyes slowly after hearing Becca’s laugh, accompanied with James’.
“Hey!” he shifted on the bed, pulled the cover more on himself.
“Why are you laughing at me?” he asked them both, loved to watch their beautiful faces.
They kept laughing and looking at each other for few minutes.
“Making fun on me, huh? What did I do? Do I look like a gnome?”
He kept intriguing them and squirming more, still sleepy.
“No.” Said Becca, shaking her head.
“Then what?” he shifted onto his side now.
“You were talking about your past classroom.” She giggled.

7. Care of Magical Creatures

Brian's CoMC class had a Kneazle each, and they were searching for treasure.
His Kneazle was the best by far.
He had a knack for choosing the best.
Becca walked past the older kids to see the professor.
Smiling, she started talking to the professor about her homework.
But she'd forgotten to take off her bracelet.
Brian's Kneazle jumped up and bit the bracelet, pulling it off Becca's wrist.
"Oh!"
She jumped and looked at the Kneazle with a sigh.
When she saw who the Kneazle ran back to, she frowned.
"I guess I lost my bracelet."
She spoke stubbornly.

2. Muggle Studies

They were in a camp with their friends, a month after their wedding and Honeymoon.
New couple. So in love and all over each other.
When they had to put up a tent for themselves in a muggles way, Brian got into the business straightaway.
He was familiar with these things, unlike Becca.
Fixing up the third pole, Brian looked at her as he noticed her watching him right from the beginning.
“Hey, wazzup?” he teased her as pulled up his pants.
She blinked, “ Where did you learn this? This’s perfect.”
“From Muggles studies, in seventh year” he smirked.

14. Hogwarts, A History

Hiding and waiting for Becca silently, Brian grinned to himself.
When he heard her footsteps, he jumped up and shouted
"BOO!"
Becca jumped and dropped the pile of books she had in hand.
"Brian!"
She grinned, grabbed a book and threw it aimlessly in his direction.
Brian laughed and jumped over the sofa.
"Sorry baby"
He giggled, handing her the book back.
She took the book, grinning.
"Hey, Becs? What're you doing with Hogwarts, A History?"
Brian looked at her curiously.
"I'm putting my old school books away."
She replied, piling the books up in his arms with a grin.

10. Arithmancy

Arithmancy.
Man, cry, hit, try, tan, trim, can, ant, arc…Brian was busy with paper and quill, sitting in the balcony.
“Hey what are you doing?” Becca sat down beside him with a cookie plate and peeked into the
Parchment.
“Doing Anagrams with the word “Arithmancy.”” He grinned and took a cookie
From the plate.
“Thank you!” he nudged her, “You wanna try?”
“NO. “ she was quick.
“Why? Which grade you got in Arithmancy in your N.E.W.T?”
“Don’t ask Brian” she giggled and trying to work out the anagram thing.
It was safer than telling her poor grade in Arithmancy.

51. Act

"Briiiannnn!"
Becca laughed and pointed to him, directing James to look at him.
James looked at daddy and giggled with excitement.
"Daddy wooks wike a monkey!!"
Becca nodded and laughed.
"He acts like one too!"
She joked, grinning.
Brian laughed and kept jumping around like a monkey.
Grinning, Becca took James' hands into her own as she held him on her lap.
Watching Brian with a happy giggle, Becca shook her head amusedly.
"Daddy's crazy! Isn’t he?"
James squealed excitedly
“YEAH! CWAZY!”
He clapped and then jumped up and ran to join daddy.
“Aww..now I’m in a zoo!”
Becca teased.

12. Charms

It was a special day. Becca’s birthday.
Brian woke up early and doing some stuffs quietly, trying not to wake her up.
Putting some charms on the newly created rose garden for her surprise Birthday gift, Brian smiled
Satisfiedly and walked over the bed.
“Hey sleepy head!” he Kissed on her forehead and whispered,
“Happy Birthday!” into her ear.
“Mmm..” she shifted, smiled at him, “Thank you darling!”
With that he showed her the flower garden through their bedroom window and
Summoned the rose petals to shower over her head.
“God, Bri! It’s amazing!” she squealed and Kissed him passionately.

86. Daring

Daring.
It was one way to describe his approach.
Bold would be another well suited word.
"What brings this young beautiful lady to my office?"
He'd started teasing her within minutes of meeting her!
And the conversation had continued.
The teasing increased, and her nervousness seemed to have disappeared as she got more comfortable.
"I didnt catch the last part, can you explain please you gorgeous?"
Compliments, compliments, compliments!
She loved it! And she was really warming to Brian Lee.
Her cheeks were pink as she got more and more interested in this amazing bold man who would soon propose.

79. Author's choice (Babysitter)

Babysitter.
Bad word in Becca’s dictionary.
The one word was enough to get Becca’s bad mood instantly.
Not her fault. She had had this very bad experience from this woman called Jane.
Pain in other word.
Jane seemed a nice woman at the beginning but started flirting with Brian slowly on their visit
To Paris.
“I don’t like her Brian, hold me before I could do anything miserable.” Was Becca’s request to
Brian for that whole week.
Guess what?
Becca sent her back right after they reached their home.
“No more babysitters in this house!” was her motto now. Haha..

4. Ancient Runes

Opening the window to let the morning post owl in, Becca saw an envelope with ‘MINISTRY OF MAGIC’ written in bold letters on the front of it.
"Brian!"
Becca showed him the paper from the owl that had just turned up.
"A meeting!?"
She demanded.
Brian looked at her with a grin.
"It's compulsary baby. We need to go."
"Awww!!!"
She whined.
"But those meetings are as boring as Ancient Runes classes!"
Brian laughed and pulled her to a hug.
"It wont be boring baby. I'll be there."
He kissed her cheek gently and then spun her around, grinning happily.
