Hi I'm Brianna and obviously this is my 100 drabbles and its about Harry's parents James and Lily Potter. This is my first fanfic but I have others that in the process of completion. I believe some of these drabbles will be better than others. I will occasionally introduce a couple of my own characters like Katelyn Cassidy to make the story more of my own.And with that info... The Start of Term Feast was coming to a close. The new first year Gryffindors were sitting at their table greeting their fellow Gryffindors. James Potter ; a boy with untidy black hair,hazel eyes, and glasses; was talking to another named Sirius Black when he noticed a girl named Lily who had almond shaped green eyes and shoulder length dark red hair. At that same moment Lily noticed the boy James who she thought was kinda cute.
James walked up to her and said " Hi beautiful, I'm James".
Lily looked at him with disgust and said " I'm Lily " and walked away.

After their first meeting James Potter had developed a crush on this Lily Evans. It was already their second year at Hogwarts and James seemed as if he was under a spell of Lily's.
"Hey Evans" James called with one of his usual attempts to impress her planned out.
" What now ? " Lily replied.
" Did you see me in the quidditch match the other day ? "
" Unfortunately I did and I was surprised to see that you didn't fall off your broom with an ego as big as yours" She replied and with that she stormed away.
" Ouch " commented Sirius with disbelief.

It was another day at Hogwarts in Lily and James' second year. Lily got to Herbology class early that day and it was peiceful for the first five minutes until James, Sirius, Remus, and Peter walked in the room. The room was then loud and Lily knew they had something planned. She couldn't help but stare at the boys as they began to pick on a slytherin named Severus Snape. She couldn't think of what to do but scold James. She thought of it as another hopeless attempt at her attention. James turned to see Lily looking and smiled victoriously. | |

It was the middle of a Divination lesson and Professor Ramaswamy had given each of her students a crystal ball so that the students could each predict the future. Katelyn and Lily had been looking for ten minutes and Katelyn was about to give up when she saw Lily at the age of sixteen and James who was sixteen and they were holding hands.
" What did you see ? All I see is a stag " Lily said with a puzzled expression.
"Nothing" Katelyn replied instantly. She knew this wasn't the thing that Lily would want to here about her and James.

Lily and Katelyn left Divination and Lily knew that Katelyn was hiding something. She soon forgot about that when James caught up with them in the halls.
" Hey Evans can you help me with my Muggle Studies homework? " James asked politely.
" Not if you assume I can help you because I'm muggleborn " replied Lily vehemently.
" Maybe he asked you because your good at almost everything " commented Katelyn trying to make her prediction real.
" Go ahead side with Potter " replied an upset Lily before she stormed away.
" I asked you because your smart " James shouted at her back before he left Katelyn alone.

Lily entered the Common room in disbelief. Her best friend had sided with the person she liked least in the world. She sat on a sofa near the fire almost in tears when James walked through the portrait hole.
" Evans, I didn't mean to offend you" James called as she started towards her dormitory.
Lily looked at him and could tell that the hazel eyed boy wasn't lying to her. " Sorry I overreacted " she replied with her head down.
" I accept your apology but can you tell me what a telephone is? " replied James with a smile on his face.
" What? " responded Lily
" A telephone " James replied.

" Do you agree that I should become an animagus or were you too busy staring at Lily Evans " interrupted Sirius.

James was almost all the way to the other side of the common room when Lily noticed him. She really didn't want to listen to him try to flatter her with his quidditch skills again but she was stuck this time.
" Hey Evans, I have a question " said James as his friends made jokes behind his back.
" What now Potter ? " replied Lily.
" umm. Will you go out with me ? "James asked with the words stumbling out of his mouth nervously.
" No Potter, I rather date a boggart" she replied as politely as she could.
And with that, James walked away .

Lily was back home for the summer holiday following her third year. She was sitting at the kitchen table when an owl came in with a letter. Lily took the letter addressed to her and then opened it.

I am writing to tell you something about James, i know you're rolling your eyes but this is important. I read the Daily Prophet this morning and I found out that James's dad died yesterday. I just wrote to him with my condolences and I think you should do the same as soon as you possibly can.

One moment James and Sirius were planning a prank that involved ooze and the next moment they were sitting on the couch as Emma Potter planned the funeral of her husband. Owls have been flying in and out of the house all day. James's mind kept running through the thought that no fourteen year old should loose a parent, it was unnatural. He recieved only one letter that shared the same views on his situation and it was from none other than Lily Evans. Her words seemed to have been the only ones to get him out of his depression.

When the fourth year began it was back to the usual for the four boys who now called themselves the marauders. James was on his way to the quidditch pitch when he saw Lily with her boyfriend hugging each other before parting ways. He was still chasing after Lily , he didn't care if she had a boyfriend.
"Hey Evans" James called to her but she ignored him.
" Bad Luck " Sirius pointed out from behind him. " I'm bored, do you wanna prank Snivellus ?"
"Sure"
And with that the two boys headed off to look for Snape as Lily was nearby crying.

"WHAT? " Lily shouted and brought the attention of the whole common room on her. She then whispered " You know that I would never want to be with Potter ".
