Hogwarts RPG Name: Eunice Murray Fifth | Muffliato There she sat in class, obediently practicing the charms she’d already mastered. Draco sat next to her; it was subtle how he’d managed it.
“You like me, don’t you, Granger?” he whispered slickly, waving his wand to pretend he was working.
She gave him a sharp glance. “Muffliato. What makes you think that?” Rolling her eyes, she diverted her eyes to the old fashioned clock she was getting to reflect all the time zones of the world. However, her cheeks flushed vaguely at this statement.
Triumphant, he smirked. “Everything points to it, Granger. And why’d you put that spell up? So the others can’t listen to the confession of your love to me or something?”
Hermione snorted. “You wish.” She stared hard at her clock, but her wand was stationary in her hand.
Inching closer, Draco drew his face near her ear. “Are you sure, Granger?”
“Get away from me,” Hermione said, shifting away from him. Goodness, why was he so annoying? More precisely, why was she enjoying this attention when she pretended she didn’t?
As Draco murmured in her ear, she felt her eyelids droop, but she snapped up instantly. “Seriously, Malfoy, go and find someone else to terrorize.” |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Eunice Murray Fifth | Engorgio “Harry, I have a big zit on the tip of my nose, don’t I?” Hermione could almost feel it pulsing.
He studied her face and nodded reluctantly. “Yeah.”
Giving a frustrated huff, Hermione put a hand over her face.
“Trying to hide your ugly face from the world, Mudblood? It’s not really working,” Draco jeered, taking a seat across the aisle before the class started.
She scoffed at him and turned her face away. Taking her hand away, she reached into her bag to grab a quill. Draco leaned over in his desk and caught sight of her pimple. Chortling, he whipped out his wand. “Engorgio!”
His aim was true. Hermione suddenly felt something very hot and beating on her nose. Before her eyes, her blemish was growing at an alarming rate! Squealing and dropping her quill, she reeled to where Draco sat. “You git! I demand that you reverse it right now!”
Draco doubled over in laughter, tears almost leaking out of his eyes.
“What is this?!” Professor Flitwick squeaked, eyes flicking to Hermione and her large pimple. “To the hospital wing at once, Miss Granger.”
Almost crying with embarrassment, Hermione dashed out of the class holding her nose. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Eunice Murray Fifth | Impedimenta He’s turned to the good side. He isn’t so bad after all, Hermione thought to herself as she ran down a flight of steps. She was relieved. They had one more person fighting for them.
Ginny lay on the ground, breathing coming in short gasps. “Ginny, are you alright?” Hermione asked, bending down for a moment. “We have to get you to somewhere safer…Tonks!” Once leaving Ginny in Tonks’ care, she went back to the battle.
“Draco, bar that door!” Hermione shouted, pointing frantically. More death eaters entered.
He nodded and sprinted to the place where she instructed, sealing it with a temporary spell. “Watch out, Granger!” He yelled.
She dived just in time as a purple jet of light shot from the end of Dolohov’s wand. Shakily, Hermione rose and aimed a spell at the death eater. Beside her, Draco dueled with another. Then one was loping towards him.
Screaming, Hermione did the first thing she thought of: “Impedimenta!” The death eater slowed just before he aimed a curse at Draco.
Draco grabbed Hermione’s arm and they stumbled away, throats searing. When they stopped behind a pillar, he panted, “I didn’t think I’d ever say this, Granger, but thanks.” |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Eunice Murray Fifth | Legilimens It was another quiet day at the library. Then again, it was always quiet in the library, thanks to Madam Pince’s severe rules. Draco detested it. Oh, how I wish I could see what she was thinking, Draco mused, staring at the back of Hermione’s poof of hair. What if she knew if Harry was the heir of Slytherin? Who knew what information was inside her mind? And did she like him? Ever since Blaise had pointed out her looks (minus her hair) Draco was thinking more about her…it was very twisted, really. “Legilimens,” Draco whispered evilly, waving his wand. Nothing happened. Too bad. Leaning to the side, he tried to catch what she was writing on her parchment. His foot slipped and it knocked over a heavy textbook.
Hermione spun around and caught Draco staring at her. “What are you staring at, Malfoy?” she asked distastefully. “I hope you’re not being distracted from your homework.” Without waiting for his reply, she turned back to hers and started scribbling madly.
He wrinkled his nose and looked aimlessly into the air. “Is a Mudblood talking to me? Funny how she slurs her words so I can’t understand a word she says…” |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Eunice Murray Fifth | Silencio
“Why do I like you, Granger?” Draco murmured.
She sighed. “I have no clue. Probably the same reason why I’m so attracted to you.” Smiling, she kissed his jawbone tenderly.
“And why is that?” Draco was curious now.
Hermione snorted. “I don’t know. I think we’re both out of our minds.”
“Mmm…” he nodded. “I agree.” He stroked the side of her cheek, kissing her pink lips. Then he heard something outside the door. “Silencio!” He mumbled, positioning his wand at Hermione and shoving her into a corner.
“Draco, what are you doing here?” Pansy’s whiny voice pierced Hermione’s ears. She peeked in. “No one else is here, are they?”
Thankful for his pale complexion that prevented him from flushing when he lied, Draco denied anything of the sort.
“Well, I’m bored.” Smiling, she wrapped her arms around his neck and pressed her lips against his. He kissed her back. So many women wanted him…
Hermione bristled in the corner. Draco pushed Pansy off him gently. “Better be going, Pansy. I’ll meet you in the common room.”
When Pansy retreated and the spell was lifted off Hermione, she brushed past Draco. “You are such a foul cockroach,” she sniffed indignantly. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Eunice Murray Fifth | Reducto “Okay, Hermione, here’s another one.” Ron threw a paper ball to her. “Reducto!” she commanded, watching with satisfaction as it blasted into pieces. “I’m getting better at this, aren’t I?”
Ron nodded. They’d been practicing—rather, Hermione had been practicing—this spell for over an hour. She insisted on getting it right. “I have to raise my grade in Defense Against the Dark Arts,” she reasoned.
Soon, Ron was whipping them at her and she disintegrated each one with ease.
“Won Won!” Lavender called from down the hallway where they were.
Hermione turned sour instantly. “Ron, looks like you have to go now.”
“Er, yeah…” Ron headed down the hall, head down.
Sighing, Hermione threw a sphere into the air and blasted it with ease. When she looked down at the floor, she could see paper remnants everywhere.
A “Woah!” followed by a thud came from behind Hermione. Whipping around, she saw Draco sprawled on the floor, shredded paper littered around him.
“Oh my goodness, are you okay?” Hermione asked anxiously.
Sitting up slowly, Draco rubbed his head. “Yeah, I think so. What the heck are you doing with all this paper, Granger? Having a party with your imaginary friends?” |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Eunice Murray Fifth | Quietus “Quietus!” Hermione said, her voice turning back to normal from the magnified one a couple of seconds ago. At times of utter chaos like this, she needed a loud voice to be heard over her rambunctious class. Students—she swore they grew rowdier and rowdier every year.
A deep but familiar voice pierced the room that was dying down. “Yes, you should listen to Miss Granger there. She is a very intelligent individual. It would benefit you a lot to pay attention in class.”
All heads turned to see the speaker. The well-known pointed features greeted them.
“Well said by Mr. Draco Malfoy of the Ministry of Magic,” Hermione told her class, not looking at him. She still hadn’t spoken to him since the last battle. Instead, she turned to the chalkboard and waved her wand for instructions to appear.
When she peered back at the doorway, he was gone. Whispering followed, mainly by the female population of the class.
“You knew him?” one student asked in awe, her eyes large and quill in mid air.
Hermione sighed and turned back to the class from the board, trying to refuse old memories from flooding back. “Yes, I’m afraid I did.” |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Eunice Murray Fifth | Accio
Hermione carefully unrolled the note written on tattered-looking parchment, her lips curving into a secretive smile. The writing was Ron’s and from the words written on it, he had been mulling over them for quite a while.
“Aw, Ron, you’re ever so endearing,” Hermione murmured under her breath, smiling some more and cheeks blushing.
“What do you have there, Mudblood?” Draco asked rudely, trying to peek at it.
She held it close to her. “What do you think you’re doing? Don’t look at it, you oaf!” How exasperating could that boy be? He was such a nosy youth.
“Fine, don’t give it to me,” Draco sulked. “I’ll find my own way to get it, then. Accio note!”
The note flew out of Hermione’s clutch. “No!” she cried, tearing at Draco’s fingers, which were enclosing the paper. He held on tight and her efforts were in vain.
Draco’s eyes skimmed the note and he handed it back with disgust. “Probably written on welfare parchment, since it’s a love note from a Weasley.” Something in him lurched unpleasantly, making his scowl etch deeper into his skin.
Hermione arched an eyebrow. “Like you would care?”
He sneered. “Of course not.” On the contrary… |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Eunice Murray Fifth | Horn Tongue “Horn tongue—wouldn’t that be gruesome?” Harry discussed with Hermione and Ron on their way back from the library to the common room.
“Very grotesque,” Hermione agreed, wrinkling her nose, not wanting to picture it, but ending up doing it anyways.
There was a snort. “Not as grotesque as your face, Potter,” Draco retorted, coming up alongside them, books in hand. He always happened to pop up at the least perfect moments.
Harry plunged his hand into his robes, searching for his wand angrily. Hermione grabbed his wrist. “Don’t! You’ll just get into trouble and we don’t want that right now!” She whispered to him frantically. Her fist was clenched around her own wand just in case Draco did something undesirable.
“Granger’s right,” Draco drawled. “Control your anger, Potter. Maybe you should listen to her more often.”
Ron turned red in fury. “We didn’t ask for your opinion, Malfoy!”
Draco opened his mouth to say something foul, but Hermione interrupted him quickly.
“Just get lost, Malfoy,” she growled, grabbing the edge of Harry’s robes and motioning for Ron to follow. As they traipsed away, Draco heard her tell them, “Never get involved with Malfoy. He’s so not worth it.”
Ouch. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Eunice Murray Fifth | Expecto Patronum Dementors gave Hermione such an eerie feeling. She knew the spell to repel them, but she didn’t have anywhere to practice it. Instead, she reviewed it over and over again in her mind, just in case.
She got to use her skills sooner than she thought.
It couldn’t be…a tall, cloaked figure glided down the hallway. What was a dementor doing in the school? Slowly, it turned its head.
Hermione felt her breath catch. “Expecto Patronum!” she yelled. A tiny wisp of silver flew out of her wand; it disintegrated before reaching its destination.
“Oof!” The dementor crumbled to the floor. What? Dementors didn’t crumble! Wait a second…
“Malfoy, what are you doing?” Hermione screeched, tearing the cloak off of him and Goyle. “This is absurd behavior!”
Draco was howling with laughter. “You should’ve seen your face, Granger. Your looked like a deer in wand lights!”
“That’s not the point, Malfoy. You aren’t supposed to be walking around like a dementor.” She looked at him crossly, hands folded.
He just snorted. “Who says? We’re just headed off to the Quidditch match, as innocent as anyone.”
Humiliated and disgusted at his foul trick, Hermione briskly walked away, nose in the air. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Eunice Murray Fifth | Unbreakable Vow “I cannot believe that Snape did that,” Draco muttered to himself mutinously. He felt like a child who wasn’t trusted with this task. Head bent down, he continued to mumble at the floor, eyes darker than usual.
BUMP.
Draco and Hermione crashed into each other; apparently, Hermione had been jotting down some last minute notes and wasn’t watching where she was going.
“Watch where you’re walking,” Draco muttered, and then looked around to see if anyone was within seeing or hearing distance. “Hermione, I need you to help me with something.”
Skeptical, Hermione stopped scribbling. ‘What?”
“You see, Snape made this unbreakable vow with my mom to—“
“He did what?” Hermione gasped, eyes wide as saucers. “Those are very serious, Draco. This must have been something really important.”
Putting a finger to his lips to warn her to remain calm, Draco continued. “And he promised that he would help—“
“What are you doing, whispering to Hermione?” Ron’s protective voice demanded, giving Hermione a questioning look. Behind him, Crabbe and Goyle lumbered towards the little group that had gathered.
“Nothing, Weasley. Why would I talk to her?” he gave Hermione a disgusted look. “She’s a filthy mudblood, after all.” |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Eunice Murray Fifth | Furnunculus “You know, I love these snogging sessions,” Hermione whispered in Draco’s ear. “I just had to admit that.”
Shifting his position slightly, Draco grinned. “Nothing better than a good snog, right?”
Hermione nodded. “Maybe we shouldn’t be doing this in a public place—people might see us.” Then her eyes widened as Dean Thomas turned the corner. “Like him.”
As they sprung from each other, Draco thought quick: “Furnunculus!” He whispered to Hermione, “Play along.”
Boils appeared on her skin. “Ow!” She cried, but she was only half-acting. They stung very badly. “Dra—I mean, Malfoy, stop it!” She criedloudly.
“That’s what you get for—um—not letting me see your notes!” Draco replied in mock fury, trying to look mad, though it was a challenging as this was the girl he was kissing moments before.
“Stop that, Malfoy!” Dean shouted, pushing the Slytherin back a few paces. “Leave her alone.” To finish his Good Samaritan role, he helped her to the hospital wing.
Draco made it a point to visit her half an hour later. To his relief, her boils were gone and she was good as new. He wouldn’t have liked a snogging partner covered in red bumps. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Eunice Murray Fifth | Petrificus Totalus The Great Hall was dimly lighted. Hermione gripped her wand, scared. Dueling (well, doing things on the spot without revision) did not appeal to her. She’d never even rehearsed hexes that she could use for a dueling club!
“Dueling partners, face each other, please,” Gilderoy Lockhart’s cheerful voice announced. He jovially smiled like this was a trifle. Clearly, he’d recovered from Snape’s harsh ‘attack’ during the demonstration.
Hermione nervously looked into Millicent’s little eyes. Terror gripped her. When Professor Lockhart shouted, “Go!” She couldn’t move.
But she was advancing on her…what would she do? How could she stop her from throttling her? Panic seized her whole body and her mind was working overtime. This was life and death for the poor second year girl! “Petrificus Totalus!” Hermione squeaked, but this did not deter the bloodthirsty Slytherin girl, who looked like an angry bull ready to run her over.
“Ha ha! Did you see that pathetic hex by Granger? Totally what I’d expect an ordinary Mudblood to do,” Draco sneered, watching their duel from afar. The Slytherins roared with laughter. Millicent grinned evilly and utilized his words as encouragement, gripping Hermione in a deadly headlock.
All Hermione could do was…well, nothing. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Eunice Murray Fifth | Scourgify She knew she wasn’t supposed to be using magic to clean Professor Snape’s storeroom, but she was in here thanks to that dratted Malfoy. It wasn’t even her fault! Maybe a bit of magic wouldn’t hurt.
“Scourgify!” she commanded discreetly and watched as a few bottles turned sparkling clean. That saved her about half an hour of cleaning. She continued to do it to other bottles; not too quickly, of course, or else the professor would notice.
“Not supposed to use magic, Granger,” Draco said loudly so that anyone down the hall could hear, which included Professor Snape himself. He had just…happened…to pass by. Oh, revenge was sweet.
Hermione glared at him, face red. How did he manage to always get her in trouble? “Malfoy, you are the world’s biggest git!” She hissed, stowing her wand away and picking up the filthy rag she was using before.
Snape’s billowing robes preceded him at the door. “Tsk tsk, Miss Granger. It looks like that will be another detention for you this following Saturday, since you can’t seem to follow simple rules.” He swept out again, a look of satisfaction on his face.
Draco smirked at her widely and smugly before departing. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Eunice Murray Fifth | Blasting Curse Hermione’s eyes rebounded back and forth as she studied about blasting curses. She honestly hoped that it would never be put on her especially if a wall was behind her. “Blasting curses were used by—“
“Me, if you want a demonstration,” Draco completed her sentence. “I’d be more than willing to, Granger.”
“You ruined my concentration, Malfoy,” she scolded infuriately. “I was trying to memorize what it was when you just barged in with your smart response. I want you to know that I do not appreciate it in the least.”
He smirked. “Exactly why I do it, Granger. When will you learn?”
Sighing and propping her book up more evidently, Hermione warned, “Don’t try to continue the conversation. You know I will not respond.”
Chortling, Draco whispered, “You just did.”
“So what?” She retorted from behind the book cover.
“So, you’re disproving your point.”
“Don’t get smart with me again, Draco Malfoy.” She was on the verge of smacking him on the head with her text.
“You’re the one carrying on the conversation, Granger,” he pointed out.
Hermione let out an enraged noise. “Stop it! You’re supposed to be working.”
He agreed. “But it’s more fun teasing you.” |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Eunice Murray Fifth | Relashio Teeth chattering, Hermione made her way back to Hogwarts castle. Viktor had been pulled aside by Karkaroff for a chat after the second task of the Triwizard Tournament, so she was left to go back by herself in the chilly weather.
Or was she?
“Good work, Granger,” Draco complimented, coming up to her once seeing she was alone.
Laughing genially, Hermione stopped in her tracks. “I didn’t do anything; if you remember, Viktor’s the one who’s the Durmstrang champion. He did it.”
“Well, you provided me with something nice to look at,” he quipped, which earned him a playful whack on the shoulder.
He looked at her shivering body under the blanket. “You look freezing. Here.” He took out his wand. “Just watch out for the sparks. Relashio.”
A blast of hot air ensued from his wand tip, drying Hermione where she was shivering. “Thanks,” she told him, meaning it. He’d been nicer to her since the Yule Ball—she wondered why.
“Here, let me help you back to the castle,” Draco offered after she’d nearly slipped. She gratefully took his arm and making sure that no one would see them together, he led her back to the stone school. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Eunice Murray Fifth | Stupefy The Yule Ball was going to be okay, he supposed, nothing really elaborate. He suspected it was going to be one of those low-income Hogwarts festivities. He wished he was at home with the luxuries there. Those were his deliberations until he saw her.
She was gorgeous. Stunning. Elegant. The way she seemed to float down the stairs in that periwinkle blue dress was unknown to him. How did that poofy-haired, buck-toothed girl he’d known for four years transform into a dazzling beauty?
Despite of himself, he found that he was indisputably stunned. It was as if she’d struck him with the Stupefy hex. He’d never seen anyone so breathtaking; he couldn’t think of any insults to throw at her.
“Draco, are you doing what I think you’re doing?” Pansy tugged on the sleeve of his sophisticated dress robes impatiently. She cast a wary glance in Hermione’s direction.
“Hmm?” Draco murmured, eyes still on the Gryffindor genius. Then the spell seemed to wear off when he returned his eyes to Pansy. “Oh, right. Let’s go.” He regained his composure and led her to the Great Hall, but the picture in his mind of Hermione stayed with him the whole night. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Eunice Murray Fifth | Langlock “Yes, but that play is too overused so the other team will know for sure what you’re going to do,” Ron reasoned matter of factly.
Pondering for a moment, Harry nodded. “You’re probably right. But I do need more plays to plan out for the team. I looked some up…”
Harry and Ron were seriously getting on Hermione’s nerves. When would they stop talking about Quidditch? It seemed as though every sentence they spoke that didn’t have the word ‘Quidditch’ or ‘broom’ in it was—well, non-existent.
Her patience grew thin and finally snapped. “Langlock!” she ordered, pointing her wand consecutively at Ron and Harry.
When they gave her utterly confused looks (they couldn’t verbally reprimand her) she explained, “You two should give the Quidditch chatter up for a while; who knew you two could be so bothersome?”
Draco happened to walk by (go figure). “She’s right, Weasel and Potter. When will you guys get the picture? Granger has grasped that concept already, I see.”
“Shut it, Malfoy,” Hermione growled. “I don’t need your help.” Then she undid the spell on her friends. They walked away, but Hermione glanced over her shoulder and smiled at her secretly favorite Slytherin boy. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Eunice Murray Fifth | Orchideous “Orchideous!” Draco muttered, shaking his wand as if trying to fling off water droplets from the tip. He tried again. A little petal flew from it.
Renewed with a bit of hope, Draco kept persisting in the common room. He really wanted to surprise Hermione; she wouldn’t know what to think when an anonymous person sent her flowers!
Over the course of an hour, he progressed. Soon a whole flower peeped out. Almost yelling with delight (which, of course, he didn’t do, because that was a sure way to put his reputation down the drain), he kept trying.
“What are you doing, Draco-kins?” Pansy asked in her shrill voice.
Putting on an unfathomable expression, he lied, “Nothing that you would care about.”
Sighing but trying to peek behind him, Pansy soon waltzed away to the girls’ dormitories.
Draco let out a sigh of relief and continued practicing. After another hour, he’d managed to produce a whole bouquet of flowers.
“Oh, Draco!” a green blur came rushing into his arms. Pansy.
She looked at the flowers with adoration. “I knew you were doing something for me! I knew it! Thank you; they are so beautiful!”
“Er, no problem,” Draco mumbled dejectedly. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Eunice Murray Fifth | Mobilicorpus Ginny was limp and pale as a bed sheet. Her eyes were closed and when touched, her skin was as cold as ice. Scratches lined her youthful face now scarred with terror and oppression.
“Ginny’s hurt!” Tonks called frantically, examining the redhead’s wounds. “She needs attention immediately!” Looking around for some help, she couldn’t see anyone who was available.
Draco came up to her. “Here, let me help. Mobilicorpus.” Tonks raised her eyebrows in surprise at his generous offer, but allowed him to guide Ginny’s limp body away, which was now hovering a foot off the ground.
Hermione saw a moving Ginny to her left just after she’d finished a gruesome duel with a skinny female death eater. When she spotted Draco hurriedly moving Ginny off the battle scene, her heart softened. He had changed dramatically. It was kind of unnerving, but who was she to complain? Her friend’s wounds were being treated and not abandoned.
“Good job, Malfoy,” she shouted over the din despite herself. “I appreciate it!” Then she turned to duel with another death eater; they were all around them in numerous clusters.
Draco looked up and smirked before disappearing into a safe nook. “No problem, Granger.” |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Eunice Murray Fifth | Tergeo Tears flowed freely from Hermione’s Granger’s eyes. Why did he always have to call her a mudblood? It made her feel so degraded and belittled. “I’m as good as any other witch,” she muttered to herself, but this didn’t stop the hurt from crashing into her again. She’d locked herself into a bathroom stall once more to hide from everyone else. Her tears were making a puddle on the floor.
“Who’s there?” a whining voice said. Hermione looked up from her position by the floor. “Tergeo,” she said to clean up the tears that had gathered at her feet. Running her hands down her face, she tried to hide any signs of mourning.
Moaning Myrtle floated towards her looking as glum as ever.
“Oh, it’s you,” Hermione said, coughing a bit. She needn’t have bothered, then.
Myrtle ‘sat’ down across from Hermione. “It’s those boys, isn’t it? That freckled one, more specifically? He never gives me a rest either.”
Hermione shook her head sadly. “No, don’t worry about it, Myrtle.” She just wanted the ghost to leave her alone in her misery.
Cocking her head, Myrtle persevered. “Boys. So insensitive, aren’t they?”
Nearly smiling, Hermione nodded. “You’ve got that right.” | |
