"no thanks." Emma said. "I'm not very good."

"Hi Dan! Hello guys!" She said. " Oh Hi Mrs Radcliffe. How are you..Mmm..that smells nice.." She said seeing the cookies. "Oh...yes..this is it. I love it.." She blushed when hearing Dan's mom compliment. "Oh..thanks...I guess Tom is hungry, as usual...I don0t know how he can eat so much! "


James stood when the girls walked in. "Hi Emma, Bonnie.." he said. Emma said she didn't want to play. "What? come on! I'll help you...I'll teach you okay?"

"Alright." Emma said.

OOC: Sorry I haven't been able to keep up with the posting lately, everyone. I've been stuck at work the better part of the past few days, and I usually don't get a chance to sneak onto the computer!

The next few minutes were a blur to Tom. The girls had arrived, and Emma looked stunning, as always.

"Emma, Bonnie," Tom greeted them nodding to each of them. His eyes locked with Emma for an instant, and a pain shot into Tom's heart. He looked down, and tried his best not to look over at her too often, as he didn't want to make the evening any more uncomfortable than he expected it was going to be. He wished he could take back what he had said the night before, but he knew that was an impossibility. Tom started fiddling with the controller in his hands. But the smell of the cookies brought him to his senses. However, he was stopped with the warning from Mrs. Radcliffe. He smiled when she used his full name.

"You know, Mrs. Radcliffe, you really should take my greediness as a compliment! Only your homemade cookies could make me this selfish!" he exclaimed, dropping the video game controller to the ground and picking up one of the soft, hot cookies. He put it in his mouth and leaned his head back, sighing at the glorious taste of the fresh cookie.

Rupert never heard any one at the door. But when the girls came in he looked up. "HEY! how you two doing?!!" He then turned back to the game at hand.

"Hi Rupert. Tom." Emma greeted Rupert warmly but just glanced at Tom shortly.

"Okay Emma. Look. With the right Buttom you kick, with the left one you shoot and with this one you move" James said. "Ready?"


occ: lol! I don't know what they are playing! lol!

OOC: I think they were playing a racing game!

"Okay." Emma said taking the controller. She faced the screen and began racing. She promptly crashed and dissolved into a laugh.

occ: sorry! lol! there's no kicking in a race game, is it? lol

OOC: Probably not! LOL

"here. I've had enough." Emma put the controller down. "I think I am going to call my mom and go home. I don't feel that well."

Evanna got into the car with her mom. During the drive she was getting nervous the closer and closer they got to Dan's. When she finaly arrived she looked at her mom. "Ok i'll call and let you know when I am ready." She said with a smile.

"ok dear, don't be too late!" She smiled back at her daughter.

Evanna walked up to the door as her mother pulled a way. she knocked on the door and waited for someone to answer.

Rupert heard Emma say something about leaving. "Aw Emma! please stay!" He pleaded. He hoped that she was just giving an excuse.

ooc: hey guys, i'm afraid i won't be able to post until tomorrow afternoon, b/c of my biggest final being tomorrow at 1pm. but i will post as soon as i get home.

"I'm fine Tom. Besides, what do you care?" Emma asked.

"Whatever. I'll see you later. I'd better say goodbye to the others." Emma shoved past Tom and headed into the other room. "Everyone, I'm leaving so I'll see you all tomorrow or something!" Emma said.

"Emma! Please don't leave now. " Bonnie said. " Can I speak with you in private for a minute? Dan, may I use your room for a second? " She said. She took Emma to Dan's bedroom and spoke to her. Why was she leaving like that. as it for Tom? That had to stop..! "Emma...look at me and tell me what's going on. I want nothing but the truth."

Rupert quickly took her controller and started playing against JAmes. "I bet i can beat you too!" HE said as he waitied for the next game to start. he stuffed a cookie in his mouth. he wondered if Katie was going to show up or not.

Evanna stood there at the door. When no one asnwered she knocked again.

Evanna smiled when Dan answered. "Hello! yeah mom knew were she was going." She looked at the room he pointed to. "ok." She walked in to the room and said a quick hello. "Hello." She said to every one in the room.

OOC: Everyone is at Dan's playing video games and hanging out. You can read the past page or two to figure out what everyone's doing.

Tom stood, blankly staring at his feet when Emma shoved past him. He stood there, dumbfounded. Why was she treating him so coldly? He knew he messed up the night before, but that was no reason to be so rude to him. He looked over at Dan, who had come by and asked what was wrong.

"I don't know what's going on with her, mate," Tom said softly. "I don't know why I even try anymore," he finished, speaking even softer and more to himself than anyone else. Tom opened the front door and stepped out onto Dan's front porch. The sun was just about gone. Tom slammed the door behind him, and walked out onto Dan's front lawn. He aimlessly wandered around the yard, not really giving any thought to anything in particular, although his thoughts kept racing back to Emma and what in the world he had done to turn her so cold so fast.

"I'm fine Bonnie. Really. Thanks for caring but I just want to go." Emma said looking at the carpet. "I'll see you later!"
